La Chance am Meer in Kellenhusen (Ostsee)

Wir waren im la Chance, um Eis zu essen und Kakao zu trinken. Und noch einmal, weil meinem Junior das Feuerwerk zu laut war. Super kinderfreundliches Personal. Das findet man nicht überall. Nächstes Mal probieren wir die Pizza ☺️

Sehr schönen Abend verlebt bei fantastischem Essen.

Also die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich. Als wir die Rechnung wollten kam der Herr zu uns an den Tisch. Wir wollten dann getrennt bezahlen mit 3 Familien. Die Antwort war: Ja und am besten alle noch mit Karte.

Bis auf die schöne Aussicht kann man leider nichts Positives sagen. Die Preise liegen über dem Durchschnitt, der Kellern beschwert sich, dass man als Gruppe getrennt zahlen möchte (mit einem unfreundlichen Hinweis: "Kartenzahlung, erst ab Zehn Euro!"). Zum Schluss ist man gezwungen den Betrag aufzurunden, da kein Wechseln möglich sei. Dies war der letzte Besuch, trotz viel Potenzial.

Wir waren zum Start in unseren Urlaub abends im La Chance am Meer essen. Die beiden Brüder die sich den Servicebereich teilen sind beide unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Das Ambiente war passend zum Strand, sehe schick und Maritim. Der Ausblick raus auf das Wasser ist auch wunderschön gewesen. Es gab einen Hausgemachten Eistee und wir haben uns zu zweit die Fischplatte geteilt. Der Fisch war perfekt zubereitet und auch die Garnelen waren nicht zu trocken zubereitet. Die Bratkartoffeln waren super knusprig und nicht zu fettig. Den Salat haben wir leider nichtmehr geschafft, da die Portion wirklich groß war. Wir kommen im nächsten Urlaub auf jeden Fall wieder zu Besuch.

Der Salat mit Garnelen für 20€ war sehr übersichtlich-> nett formuliert. Während die sechs Garnelen wirklich gut gelungen waren, so bestand der Rest aus Eisbergsalat, einer kleinen Tomate und einem Teelöffel! Mais und ein paar Gurkenscheiben. Die Rucolapizza war solide, allerdings leider kein Vergleich zur Vorsaison. Wenigstens die Cocktails haben uns gut geschmeckt.

Kugel Eis 2€. Geschmacklich OK, aber Kugel sehr klein!

Ein rundum perfekter Restaurantbesuch! Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir herzlich empfangen und den ganzen Abend über von einem äußerst aufmerksamen, freundlichen und professionellen Kellner betreut – genau so wünscht man sich Service. Die Fischplatte war einfach hervorragend: frisch, perfekt zubereitet, geschmacklich erstklassig und liebevoll angerichtet. Man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier großer Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Dazu kam eine traumhafte Aussicht, die das Essen zu einem echten Genussmoment gemacht hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – für diese Qualität, den Service und das Ambiente wirklich top. Wir waren begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten Käsekuchen, Apfelkuchen, Kaffee & Latte Macchiato. Beide Stücke Kuchen waren sehr lecker. Die Aussicht war auch Klasse.

Wir waren zum Abendessen heute im La Chance und das Essen sowie der Service war hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Service, der leider nicht aufmerksam war, falsches und liebloses Essen geliefert hat und für die Kinder einfach selber Eissorten ausgewählt hat.. Die Einrichtung drinnen war wirklich nett und der Blick auf's Meer war toll, aber alles andere leider nicht...

Wir haben hier eine Kleinigkeit zum Mittag gegessen. Preis/Leistung war unakzeptabel! Für 2 verkohlte Köfte, Pommes, 4 verbrannte Falafeln und mickrige Beilagen 41€ inkl. zwei einfachen Getränken. Dann doch lieber gleich zu Gosch!

Tolle Lage, hundefreundlich, guter Wein, leckerer Obstler und ein überaus freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Besuch am 01.01.10126,abends,Lokal war auffallend leer.Speisekarte war auf 6 oder 7 Gerichte reduziert,was draußen noch nicht ersichtlich war,angeblich wegen Renovierungs- arbeiten. Na ja,wir hatten halt Hunger. 1 1/2 Dosenwürstchen,die sich als Currywürste identifiziert haben mit Pommes und 1 Gulasch mit falscher Beilage,beides für je >16,-€, 1! Kellner, der seinen 1.Tag hatte,4 Herren hinter der Theke,die viel diskutierten,mehrere Leute,die wieder gingen, weil sie nicht bedient wurden. „La Chance“ auf einen Abend mit gutem Essen kläglich vertan. Okay,die Pommes waren gut.

Offenbar hat der Besitzer gewechselt. Das Silvester Menu war ein Reinfall. Trotz ausreichend Personal und nicht wirklich voll mussten wir 3mal nachfragen, bis wir bestellen durften. 2 große Garnelen und 3 Falafel und Schokotorte mit Vanille Eis für 45 €! Geschmacklich okay, Essen eher kalt, Eis dafür warm.

Leider hat das "La Chance am Meer" keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Es fing damit an, dass keiner unsere Bestellung aufnehmen wollte. Also haben wir einen Kellner angesprochen, und Kuchen sowie heiße Schokolade bestellt. Leider war der Kuchen am Boden verbrannt und hat entsprechend nicht so gut geschmeckt. Kurze Zeit später haben wir Getränke für die Erwachsenen bestellt, welche leider nie angekommen sind. Die Bestellung wurde einfach vergessen. Auf der Herrentoilette fehlte das Papier, ebenso waren Sanitäre Anlagen defekt. Leider alles in allem heute wirklich nicht gut.

Wir hatten für eine Gruppe von 10 Personen reserviert, wurden jedoch enttäuscht, als wir an zwei getrennten Tischen platziert wurden – für ein gemeinsames Gruppenessen absolut unpassend. Leider zog sich dieser negative erste Eindruck durch den gesamten Abend. ​Die Kritikpunkte im Detail: ​Wartezeit: Wir mussten über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. ​Mangelnde Konstanz & Portionierung: Es wirkte fast so, als seien die Portionen ausgegangen. Während an Nachbartischen vier große Köfte auf dem Teller lagen, erhielten wir nur drei kleine. Es schien, als hätte man die Teller wahllos mit anderen Dingen "aufgefüllt". ​Qualität der Speisen: ​Die Pommes waren teilweise noch roh/nicht durchfrittiert. ​Die Gorgonzola-Nudeln hatten kaum Eigengeschmack und bestanden gefühlt nur aus Sahne. ​Die Currywurst entpuppte sich als einfache Bockwurst, die lediglich mit etwas Currypulver bestreut war – das hat mit einer echten Currywurst wenig zu tun. ​Feedback von anderen Gästen: Dass wir kein Einzelfall waren, bestätigte sich im Gespräch mit dem Nachbartisch. Auch dort war man unzufrieden und musste sogar Pommes nachbestellen, weil die Portionen so klein waren. ​Angesichts dieser Erfahrung können wir die vielen positiven Rezensionen hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal besuchen und können es leider auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Nur eine kleine Karte mit ca 7 Gerichten - angeblich wegen Renovierung. Steht weder auf der Homepage noch außen am Restaurant. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Super netter Service. Die orientalische Reispfanne mit Garnelen war reichlich und sehr lecker. Die Pizza von meinem Freund war auch sehr gut. Gerne kommen wir im nächsten Urlaub wieder.

Wir hatten das hausgemachte Gulasch, was wir sehr lecker fanden.

Aussicht und Ambiente super - die Preise sind Horror geworden. Vegetarische Pizza 18,90 Euro, die anderen ähnlich teuer. Da sind die Pizzen im Casa Mia günstiger und deutlich besser. Übrigens kosten die Pizzen 3-4 Euro mehr als auf der Webside angegeben. Früher sind wir laufend im La Chance gewesen, jetzt war es das letzte Mal. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Der Laden allerdings an einem Freitag Abend auch nur mit 3 weiteren Tischen besetzt. Kein Wunder... 2 Sterne (trotz Service und Ambiente), weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr stimmt und wir uns schon etwas ver... gefühlt haben, dass die Preise von denen auf der Internetseite so abweichen.

Ich hatte reserviert, weil laut Webseite es viele schöne vegetarische und auch vegane Optionen gibt. Bei der Reservierung habe ich keinen Hinweis bekommen, dass das Angebot eingeschränkt ist. Am Abend dann gab es nur 5 Gerichte, eines davon vegetarisch (Falafel mit Hummus). Die Falafel waren sehr stark fritiert und das einzig Warme am Gericht. Der Petersiliensalat, war auf dem Teller nur Eisbergsalat. Für den Preis leider eine Enttäuschung. Ich kann nachvollziehen, wenn man in der Nebensaison etwas renoviert. Aber wenn die Speisen die Gäste nur verärgern, ist der Reputationsverlust höher, als einfach zu schließen.

Köfte und Humus Teller geschmacklich gut, aber nichts besonderes. Portionen sehr klein für den Preis.

Gemütliches Ambiente mit Blick auf die Ostsee und sehr dezenter, stimmungsvoller Musik. Wir haben es geliebt! Sehr leckere Currywurst gab’s auch noch.

There were only seven items on the menu, but the decor was lovely. The service was very friendly, and it was very empty and quiet, except for the music, which was too loud. The food arrived quickly. However, the pasta was very dry, and the sauce my friend ordered was so thick it was practically pudding. We kept considering leaving.

I ate at the restaurant yesterday and was very surprised that, due to renovations, they only had an "emergency menu." I hadn't read anything about this beforehand. I found that unfortunate. I ate there anyway, but unfortunately, it was only okay. I had goulash with noodles, which were unfortunately overcooked. I'm convinced that the food there is usually delicious. If I'd known about this emergency solution beforehand, I would have gone somewhere else. It was a real shame.

We ate there today, October 19, 2025. I ordered pea soup with bratwurst. It had to be reheated. My wife ordered beef goulash with noodles. That was an absolute disgrace. Canned goulash with four small, diced pieces of meat. Behind us at the table, an elderly couple also complained about the pea soup. Next to us, a couple ordered pea soup and beef goulash. The woman also complained about the missing meat. The waiter took the plate back, which prompted the woman to send the entire meal back. When the waiter took our money, I mentioned the problem, which resulted in us having to listen to the words: "Leave the restaurant and don't come back." You don't have to put up with that as a guest.

Very friendly and polite owners, and something different and very tasteful. Always happy to come back 👍

Two of us went there for dinner at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. We were asked if we had reserved a table, which we replied no. We were immediately told that we could use the table for 1 hour and 30 minutes, as all tables were reserved. We received a welcome greeting from the kitchen beforehand. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. However, there were problems paying. After paying, we wanted a bill, which was brought to us after a long wait, and then we saw that completely different food and drinks had been charged. The second receipt also contained discrepancies. We complained about this as well and asked for the correct receipt, which never arrived. Annoyed, we left the restaurant. At home, I checked everything again and ultimately, we were charged €5 too much. We already tipped beforehand. We don't know yet whether we'll come again.

We visited La Chance by the sea in the afternoon and were immediately greeted in a very friendly and attentive manner. The staff was welcoming and immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. What was particularly nice was that we were able to bring our dog with us without any problems – that's not always the case. From our seat, we had a great view of the pier, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We had Hawaiian pizza, Diavolo pizza, Turkish sucuk, and prosciutto funghi – all of them were excellent! Thin, crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and simply delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the location right by the sea. An all-round successful visit – great service, delicious food, and a fantastic view. We'd love to come back!

We got married on the pier in Kellenhusen. The celebration then took place at the restaurant La Chance am Meer. First, there was a champagne reception, followed by coffee and cake. The cake was absolutely delicious, a huge compliment for that. In the evening, there was a delicious buffet with hot and cold dishes, with something for everyone. There were 30 of us, and everyone was thrilled. Thank you again. The hospitality and the friendly, attentive, and professional staff, including the manager, made our day a fantastic experience. Everything went perfectly beforehand, including the quote and the arrangements. A definite recommendation for anyone planning to get married on the Baltic Sea or simply enjoying a pleasant restaurant visit. Thank you very much, we felt very welcome. Birgit & Bernd

The prices are certainly on the higher end in Kellenhusen. However, our food arrived quickly and was very tasty.

La Chance = Pure rip-off! My husband and I dined here today on our arrival day. We had Pizza Diabolo and a Greek salad. Both were available for €17.90 each. BUT, what was only mentioned in the fine print was the additional price of about 8 shrimp for €10.90, which borders on rudeness and impertinence. The service staff were also arrogant and not on their toes. We'll never see this restaurant again, and the service wasn't particularly friendly or attentive either. Compared to last year, La Chance has gone downhill considerably! Value for money = 6

We ate there one evening with our young son. One of the waiters seemed strange and completely confused, especially because of the orders from neighboring tables. We only had to wait about 20 minutes for three pizzas, the numbers of which the waiter completely mixed up when taking our orders. Unfortunately, they didn't taste very good; the pizza dough tasted more like pre-made dough. Then we wanted something packed up, we told a waiter, he said just a minute, I'll be right there, then we waited 15 minutes until he came back with a pizza box, then we wanted to pay, this also took another 15-20 minutes, we didn't want to give a tip, then he kindly said we're sorry you had to wait so long, the little man (our 3 year old son) would like an ice cream on the house, we accepted the offer, thanked him and then rounded up the bill, so we did give a tip, we walked with him into the shop so our son could choose a scoop of ice cream, but to our great disappointment, the ice cream had already been cleared away 2.5 hours before closing time, which the waiter apparently didn't know about, even though he had walked past to collect the money before coming to us, so we left the shop with great disappointment, also from our son's point of view, we were apologised after several times, it's a shop we won't be going back to any time soon.

For a baked potato, half a tomato, three tablespoons of tuna, two dipping sauces, and a few lettuce leaves...15€! For me, the price-performance ratio isn't right! Pizzas start at 16€!

Dirty tables, bird droppings and lots of wasps

We were there today in brilliant sunshine with a wonderful view of the beach promenade. We opted for kofte. It was really delicious! Good quality and friendly service! Highly recommended!

It was once again very good! We can therefore recommend this restaurant: friendly service, right on the promenade. A wide selection of dishes; we had the Sin of the Orient (appetizer plate) and Tabbouleh parsley salad. It was delicious.

Only the location is good. Extremely inflated prices and bland food. Four pieces of cold chicken for €8. A small plate of pasta with butter for my daughter was €8.50. Once and never again.

The waiter was completely unfriendly and came to us without a bill, simply stating the price. The order he took wasn't correct either.

We waited a long time for the menu and then for our drinks. Later, we received cold food, and after pointing it out, it was simply warmed up.

A must-visit for us whenever we're in Kellenhusen. Fantastic pizza and extremely friendly staff. The ambiance would be great even without the sea view. Very child- and dog-friendly. It really couldn't get any better.

I would have expected more for the price. €16 for a Greek salad (with chicken or shrimp it's another €6-8 extra). Cheap iceberg lettuce with a few cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, and feta is pretty cheeky for the price. It was delicious, and the view was beautiful (right by the sea, so that's probably why it was so expensive?)... The pizza had a strong "doughy" flavor and cost €16 for a 33cm slice (but it wasn't even 30cm). There are better restaurants in Kellenhusen.

Friendly staff, delicious food. Some communication difficulties (my starter plate and two main courses arrived at the same time; my food was brought later when I asked).

A true insider tip that I can wholeheartedly recommend! The food was not only delicious and lovingly prepared, but also absolutely fair in price. The staff treated us with warmth and attention, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. I was particularly impressed by the dreamy ambiance, tastefully decorated with fresh flowers, cozy yet stylish. The view of the shimmering water and the picturesque pier perfectly rounded off the experience. Even the appetizer was a small foretaste of the culinary delights that followed. A place to relax and enjoy.

Unfortunately, it was a letdown for us. We were squashed with nine people at a table for six, so two of us ended up with our plates on our laps. The food was quite expensive for the portion size, especially the appetizers. After we'd ordered and had already waited over 45 minutes for our food, a man came up to us and said the potatoes were gone and we could please choose something else. When the pizzas arrived, five of the seven were overcooked and therefore very dry, and one of them (a margarita) was brought out after everyone else had already finished their food. We ordered a hot cocoa. It came iced. When we were told that it wasn't hot, but cold, we were given a stupid look, asking why the hot cocoa with ice cubes was too cold. However, they were very relaxed about dogs; we brought three, which they accepted without comment. All in all, if there's no alternative, you can try it once, but then you probably shouldn't.

I can't rate the food; you couldn't pay by card, which is really questionable these days, especially in a tourist hotspot. When I found out about this, my visit quickly ended. In my opinion, the tables were poorly set and prepared.

We visited this restaurant exactly two years ago and were very impressed by the delicious food and the ambiance. So were we even more disappointed this time? Because the weather was still so nice, we sat on the terrace. Unfortunately, it was in an unkempt and run-down condition. The chairs and cushions were very dusty, and the tables hadn't been wiped down. The waiter came promptly with the menus. This was the second time we were disappointed. The menu had been completely redesigned, and now features oriental dishes and pizzas. The excuse was that the kitchen was being renovated. We ordered our drinks and two pizzas. We were informed that the dishes could take 30 to 40 minutes to prepare. This was excused because so many guests arrived at once. After 40 minutes, the food still wasn't on the table. We noticed that the guests at the neighboring tables were also waiting for their food and were already very annoyed. We were offered oriental bread and dips on the house to appease us. After about 50 minutes, our pizzas finally arrived. The third disappointment. The pizzas had little flavor, were light on toppings, were very thin, burnt on the edges, and undercooked in the middle. It's a disgrace to serve a pizza like that for over €18. The nightcap on the house at the end didn't make up for it. Our overall impression of the evening was disorganized chaos at the expense of the guests. Never again!!!

06/25 Unfortunately, I have to change our 5-star review, I'm very sad! One of our favorite restaurants 😢... The menu/offerings have been changed, the prices have increased (significantly), e.g., the recipe (toppings) of a pizza has been changed. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right!! A really ordinary pizza (unusually delicious last year!!) now costs almost 19 euros!! Such a shame! The pizza is smaller, few/sparsely topped, no longer well seasoned... e.g., topped with old, huge, and hard arugula leaves. We are truly disappointed! We've been there several times on every vacation. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case! 😪 I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the ambiance/location! Another negative aspect of not going there anymore: until last year, card payments were accepted, but not anymore! A huge problem in Kellenhusen, almost everyone wants cash! Afraid of not getting a tip?? Or is this for tax reasons?? (Anyone who thinks otherwise is a scoundrel!) Sorry guys, you're scaring away your "good" regulars! 08/24: Actually one of the best! This year, the staff is also really friendly! Highly recommended! We'll be happy to come back!

First of all, I have to say that we've been going to this restaurant for decades (including under the previous owners). The price/performance ratio has significantly decreased. As other visitors have described, we had to ask to be served. We had gotten our menus ourselves at the counter. The water and the Coke weren't cold, and the Coke was almost deflated. The arugula pizza was average at best and, at almost €19, outrageously priced. Unfortunately, this was our last time there.

The quality of the food was disappointing. We had a falafel plate. It consisted of three rock-hard falafel and hummus swimming in oil. The salad consisted of a few lettuce leaves and a slice of cucumber (no dressing) and was, at best, a side salad. Everything tasted bland. It cost just under €18 per person. You can probably do that in a vacation region. We wouldn't recommend it.

The summer garden is very nice, with very friendly and attentive service. The Aperol is very good (although it's also on the higher end). Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through.

We've been coming here for years, but today we weren't wanted. We waited about 30 minutes while other guests were served. Then we politely asked for the menus at the counter and were allowed to take them from the pile. But don't think anyone would want to serve us. We had to wait a long time again before our attempts to make contact were finally acknowledged. The food was okay; a salad with 5 shrimp for €26 is quite a lot, but what can you get cheaper? It's a shame that the online menu is outdated; someone with allergies could choose something beforehand and then be overwhelmed when they see the menu in the restaurant. We hope that the next time we're in Kellenhusen, we'll have that same feeling of well-being we used to have.

First of all: The staff is very friendly and the food was very good. But the organization is a disaster. We waited over an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. At first, one person was skipped when ordering drinks, but we were able to rectify that. The food then arrived (for six people) in two portions, 15 minutes apart (I haven't experienced that in a long time; we didn't order complicated dishes). Unfortunately, one main course was completely forgotten. It was also a children's plate, which led to great frustration. Considering our experiences up to that point, however, we decided not to have it prepared, because at some point, you just want to go home. The other two children were so supportive and shared, so no one was hungry.

The waiters even took care of the dog. A top-notch restaurant 👍🏻

The restaurant is located in the middle of the Kellenhusen promenade and has a small indoor and larger outdoor area. You sit comfortably and have a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The menu is extensive and the offerings are well thought out. We wanted to have a little drink and eat at lunchtime. I had a craving for ice cream, which I couldn't order from the waiter and had to go indoors. Two waiters tried to fulfill my wishes, but unfortunately neither of them could understand me. At one point I got 4 balls for €2 each, which were really tiny. Drinks were ordered: a Caipirinha (hardly any alcohol, no cane sugar), two Aparol Spritz (no sparkling wine). There was very little ice cream but it was tasty, everything else was bad. One star for the view and one for the taste of the ice cream. I wouldn't not go there again

Went here for the first time at lunchtime today with children. We sat inside, very friendly welcome, then we get freshly baked bread from the house, and the food was very tasty, service was very, very friendly, competent and attentive and the children were very happy, we would like to come back, recommended 👌👌

Unfortunately, a big disappointment... We reserved a table online in advance, which was apparently not noted when we arrived. Nevertheless, a member of staff kindly accompanied us to a free table. He pointed out to us in advance that our food order might take a little longer because there were two larger parties present at the time. Our drinks would be picked up and brought straight away. At first we were pleasantly surprised, as it is not a given to receive such information. When we received the menus we were surprised for the second time because the dishes differed greatly from the online menu. So far so good - no problem. But instead of taking our drinks, the waiter left our table and didn't come back for a little over half an hour. In the meantime, after we saw how overwhelmed the food distribution staff were and how we were ignored, we left the restaurant disappointed and hungry. Our departure was also not noticed. Even though we unfortunately couldn't test the quality of the food and drinks, we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Not recommended……the waiters were totally overwhelmed. Sometimes they didn't know where the food was coming from. After waiting half an hour to at least order our drinks, we left.

Absolutely not recommended. Completely overwhelmed on holidays. The two of us sat there for ages with our 2.5 year old son, who was looking forward to a portion of fries, and saw other tables coming, eating(!) and leaving. It's not that we didn't draw attention to ourselves several times, but somehow they didn't manage to do it. We ended up leaving without eating.

Despite the full house, we had a great evening with great service and delicious food. Would love to come back. Katrin, Katrin and Leif

Nachdem Gäste an drei anderen Tischen , die alle nach uns gekommen sind schon ihre Getränke bekommen haben und wir noch nicht einmal die Speisekarte sind wir nach weiteren 5 Minuten gegangen. Ich vestehe das Restaurankonzept nicht, wenn man Gäste, die Essen und Trinken wollen 20 Minuten komplett ignoriert.

Highly recommended! The service is very friendly and attentive, the furnishings are nice and modern, and the waiting time is also completely acceptable. The quality of the food is great, we were all very satisfied. Highlights are the Merguez and the corn-fed poularde. Gladly again at any time

Maybe it was because the new year had just started and many guests had left, but I still don't like waiting forever for a waiter. The waiter was wearing a wrinkled, stained shirt, especially since it was only 1 p.m. The flowers on the tables had long since passed away, the candles had long since gone up in smoke (sometimes less is more, at least putting them away helps) and our little meal was somehow quite expensive. One ! ! Waffle with cherries, not even cream or a scoop of ice cream, no! and a small cup of coffee, two of which were totally inadequate for 21 euros. No matter what others think about it. I also come from the catering industry, but the look has to be right and sensible recommendations and the warmth...we had the feeling that we were disturbing the beautiful peace and quiet. So I was disappointed. I will also spend my money elsewhere during the season. The toilets should also be cleaned, especially the floor.

A great location right on the beach promenade, nice and modern furnishings. The service is absolutely great. It's rare to experience so much friendliness these days. The food was absolutely excellent. All in all, it is a great ambience and a restaurant where you can feel good and indulge in culinary delights. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We were there for coffee and cake, the staff was super friendly and helpful at the entrance, the wheelchair didn't want to go up the ramp, otherwise everything was easily accessible, waffles and cake were very tasty

Great food, a direct view of the pier and the sea, super nice service. This restaurant is definitely worth one or more visits. We'll definitely be back.

Insider tip - much cozier inside than it looks from the outside. In winter you can sit in the corner by the stove!

We were there for dinner. The service was super pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is very modern inside and is reminiscent of beach bars in Holland in style. The food was super tasty. We had pulpo as a starter and lamb as our main course. Absolutely recommended! We would love to come back.

We recently went to the restaurant “La Chance” in Kellenhusen. For me as a vegetarian, this seemed like a suitable choice and it proved to be true. It's nice that a few restaurants are open in November. The starters were very tasty and the selection of drinks was large. For the main course we each had a baked potato which was really beautifully prepared and it left us very full. After the starters we were already full, but you never know that beforehand. Finally: the service was extremely attentive, asked several times about our well-being and always tried to ensure that our visit to the restaurant was enjoyable for us. We'd love to come back, thank you very much

Such wonderful oriental cuisine.

Very friendly, cozy atmosphere with a view of the promenade and the pier. The pizza (Diavola and Tonno from my wife) was fantastic. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza in a long time. The restaurant is dog friendly which I think is great. However, we didn't have a dog with us.

I have been coming to Kellenhusen and also to this beautiful restaurant for years. Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and really great food. Always my pleasure. Keep it up!!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this Mediterranean restaurant right on the seafront promenade. The first impression was overwhelming: a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and a breathtaking view of the sea. The starter was delicious and the main course kofta were superbly prepared - juicy and full of flavour. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A perfect place to enjoy the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

I've been coming here for years. The restaurant is ideal for the beach. There is an outdoor restaurant and an indoor area with an ice cream parlor. The ambience inside is bright and maritime-themed. Both areas have a great view of the open sea. The service staff is very friendly, attentive and child-friendly. The food is great and I think the price-performance ratio is okay. I only deduct one point because the menu is relatively manageable, but I still found something so that's a high level of complaining 😅

A great restaurant. Competent and friendly animal and child-friendly staff and really very good cuisine. Delicious drinks, ice cream and cakes. Big plus for a top barrier-free entrance, restaurant rooms and toilet facilities. Every guest spends a good time here. I will always be happy to come back here.

In the last 12 years we have always been here at least 2-3 times/holiday, sometimes even 2 times/day. Here you could either eat waffles and cake, drink a cocktail, have a snack in between, or have a rich and varied dinner. It was always very full every day, at all times, and getting a spot on the beloved sun terrace or inside often proved difficult. Yesterday we witnessed 3 reserved tables leaving without ordering and we were also disappointed. Today it was shockingly emptier all day than usual - what happened? Why the map change? Own creations are always beautiful and desirable, but unfortunately the connection to the region has been lost too much! Absolutely unsuitable for children (spices on fries too hot?) Service, musical atmosphere, cleanliness and quality unchanged! "Never change a winning team!" Next year will show whether it holds up; under current circumstances, it could become difficult, at the latest with the opening of a new crowd puller. Too bad!

Delicious food and super nice service

A very nice restaurant that also invites you to eat alone. I met wonderful people there and quickly made contacts. The hospitality was brilliant. The waiters were very attentive and really spoiled us. To top it all off, there was a super delicious schnapps as a gift. Thank you for this wonderful afternoon, which ended in an even more beautiful evening. Overlooking the sea where the sun was setting. ☺️ Thanks to the wonderful waiters Tino, Raffael and Oni who pampered us in a very friendly manner. Because of their friendly nature, they are absolutely the flagship of the restaurant.

We (3 adults and 2 small children) were there for coffee today Perfect service, very attentive, very friendly. You'll enjoy going there!
