Stylish ambience. Friendly and courteous service. The food was extremely tasty (lemon ginger soup and ripe eye steak from Agnus beef cooked to perfection), no complaints about the food. I can only recommend the location. The price-performance ratio matches the upscale cuisine on offer. I'd love to come back 😀

Great sun terrace, good wine selection, delicious food and friendly service. The salmon fillet grilled in beech wood came to the table beautifully presented! The fries alone could have been a little crispier and the dips a little bigger... 10 fewer fries would have been enough😉😉 And this year (2024) we had the pulled pork with cole slaw on a bed of great crispy fries 🍟. Great and a huge portion that is hard for a woman to conquer 😉. I'm thrilled!!

A very nice location, stylish and inviting! Which was recommended to us by several Juisters. On Friday we only had a drink and the menu appealed to us so much that we reserved a table for yesterday. We were a little early and were asked to wait in the fireplace area, which was only possible while standing due to overcrowding. We finally got a seat at the bar, where we were ignored by the cheerless staff for 10 minutes and were only served when we asked. Then we were brought to the table and quickly received our very good food. The owner came to us and we assumed that we would be asked for further requests. Far from it, we were once again complimented in the fireplace room with the offer of a digestive on the house. At first we were speechless, even shocked by this way of dealing with "guests" and asked for the bill. Our aperitif from the bar was missing from this bill and I pointed this out. They said it was on the house. I refused and said that I had never been treated so badly and condescendingly. This was neither recognized nor apologized for, no, they said that we didn't have a table at all, but that we were given one because of our generosity, we were "just standing at the bottom". The summary of the whole thing is that we will no longer visit this and all other restaurants in this group. There are also many other very good restaurateurs that we are looking forward to meeting.

Actually everything was good... Service was super friendly, food was delicious, location was very good... Unfortunately like everything on Juist... An expensive family dinner...

A great place not just for food. The decor is fantastic and very tasteful, what was created there is great. The staff was very nice, friendly and attentive. The food came super quickly even though it was busy. But that's beside the point anyway, it's just fun to sit and watch. A visit that calls for repeating. 👍👍

Very nice location. The food was great. There is a nice but not too large selection of food. Prices are completely reasonable. There was also a lot for the children. And when they're done, they can go straight to the playground. The service is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere on Juist. You should make a reservation as it is always quite busy.

On Friday evenings in August the Therasse ("beer garden") is not open, but advertises on the street for 12-9 p.m.... In the past the food was good and reasonably priced.

Modern, cozy. Food took a long time and seemed partly warmed up. Very good potatoes for herring. Under "Vegan/Vegetarian" was a "peanut chicken"...it was actually chicken and not a vegetable replica. High season, but only half attended. We were there twice today...

Everything is very excellent, but please note that the prices are on the higher side, which means that the atmosphere is nice and quiet and the food and drinks are beautifully presented. We recommend

We visited the beer garden for the first time and were thrilled. We had a sunny spot and were warmly served by the lovely Iris and two young men. Despite the beer garden being full, they remained confident and friendly. The food tasted excellent. We would definitely like to come back and thank you for this great last evening of our vacation.

Waited two hours for the food, which still didn't come. No apology from the service staff. Actually a nice place for a cozy evening outdoors. But not acceptable with such lousy service.

Just unbelievable. I almost don't have the words to describe how beautiful it was there. The service was excellent, the decoration and furnishings were pleasing to the eye and even the food left you wanting for joy. Even if in our case it was "just" pasta, the taste completely convinced us.

Asked for a table at the entrance without a reservation, the lady didn't know a greeting or a friendly look that we weren't welcome couldn't be shown more clearly. Should I have worn a jacket? Incredible.

We have “only” had a few drinks in the last few days. The menu sounds really good though. The indoor location is super modern and beautifully set up. A highlight, even if it sounds strange, are the toilets. I won't say anything more about it, you'll have to see for yourself :) the service is top notch and super dog-loving. An absolute recommendation from me

200 grams of rump steak, herb butter, fries and South Carolina sausage, small salad extra. Tastes very good. The steak was small but perfect meat. Fries cross and delicious. The small salad is served in a tall bowl. When I took it out, some things fell out of place because the lettuce wasn't chopped up. Salad dressing needs improvement. Service impeccable and very nice. What was unpleasant was the scent diffuser, which gave off a constant scent. Leaves a terrible impression when eating. You also have to be able to smell food and not have the smell of any flowers imprinted on it. Drinks Krefelder and Café good. Conclusion: I can only recommend eating and drinking. Only outside because of the diffuser. No more inside. Unfortunately

During our stay on Juist we went to the pub's beer garden three times. The excellent food and the two charming waitresses (<3) made us repeat offenders. Thank you! :-)

It's a great restaurant in the center of Juist, very modernly decorated, the service is very attentive. The menu is not overloaded which I like. Overall a bit higher priced. I chose the Ibericho pork chop with asparagus and rosemary potatoes. For dessert there was coconut mousse with pineapple rolls, very tasty 😋, both dishes.

Good service but poor quality of food. The wine also seems “adulterated”. Unfortunately no recommendation despite the nice atmosphere...

We ate lunch outside: Food worse than at McDonalds. Expensive and no taste. It's a shame, the interior and the sanitary facilities are top notch!

You actually have to praise the restaurant for the fact that you can still get something warm here after 3 p.m. It's not that easy to find something on Juist, at least in May. The salad with chicken was of very poor quality and therefore significantly too expensive. At least the waitress was friendly and even offered to replace the charred chicken.

Price-performance ratio overpriced even for island prices. Just because you drizzle something with truffle oil doesn't make it an exclusive food. The ambience is modern and cool, and the view of the Wadden Sea is also beautiful.

Very beautiful and elaborate redesign of the old train station. Very attractive outdoor seating area, perfect for sunny hours. The menu is a bit sparse, very few fish options, so I chose steak (the name says it all). Unfortunately the quality of the steak was only average, but the prices were above average. Price-performance ratio is not right here, cocktails around €12-€13, starters €15-€20, main course €30-€50... You can (perhaps) call that on the Hohe Düne because of the location and sea view, but not at the spa square. I would particularly like to mention the extremely friendly and courteous service. We were here for our birthday and the table was specially decorated and we were personally congratulated several times. Service on the island is getting worse and worse, which is particularly praiseworthy in the Steakmann as well as in the Hohe Düne. The tea house, on the other hand (belongs to the same group), was catastrophic.

You can do it. Children's meals cost 4 euros more than stated online. Couscous with some unimaginative ratatouille was ok, spaghetti Aglio Olio was very good, with delicious semi-dried cherry tomatoes. Ambience is quite nice, service is not overly friendly, but good.

Service and ambience 5 stars, there is absolutely nothing to criticize. Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm, but tasted very good. The prices for the drinks are outrageously high. All in all OK. Price/performance well, not suitable for a small wallet.

A beautiful place to unwind, have something nice to drink and/or eat. The service is unbeatably friendly. Highly recommended. Our dogs were also very welcome 🥰

Very nice staff, very good food

An evening in the early season. So relaxed and no problem finding a spot. The service was quick, friendly and impeccable. I would say prices are local. The tarte flambée was great, generously topped and very tasty. Elegant ambience, the team has really made something beautiful out of the old compass. I would happily recommend it.

One of the best and most trendy places on the isle Juist. The food is great and the service very friendly. We had mussels and a Flammkuchen, but I’m sure all the food is tasteful here. Definitely a place to recommend.

Sind heute in der Nebensaison für ein Abendessen im Carl Steakmann gewesen. Der Service hat uns den ganzen Abend zuvorkommend begleitet. Die ausgesuchten Weine, alles Bioweine, waren hervorragend und top gekühlt. Toll, dass zum Aperitif ein offener Taittinger Rosé angeboten wurde. Den haben wir gern genommen 😀🥂 Das Essen hat uns gut gefallen. Vielen Dank an Küche und Service... 😀

Wow, ich bin sehr begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und sehr modern. Es werden auch scheinbar moderne Verfahren und gute Technik benutzt (IPads, Ubiquiti). Das Essen war eine gute und ordentliche Portion. Viel Auswahl auch für Veganer und Vegetarier. Service war auch sehr nett, Cocktails waren super! Gerne wieder!

Die Weinkarte sind wirklich etwas anderes. Eine tolle Auswahl an vielen interessanten Weinen. Das Essen ist an sich gut aber für den Preis etwas zu teuer. Ich weiß nicht ob das hier auf Juist so ein Ding ist alles mit Pommes anzurichten, aber ein Steak was fast 80€ kostet trotzdem noch mit Pommes anzurichten ist eine Sache die mich irritiert. Das Personal sehr kompetenten der Abend schön, sehr zu empfehlen wenn man etwas mehr bezahlen möchte und ein Weintrinker ist.

Das Essen ist gut und für Juist ist's durchschnittlich Hochpreisig. Das Steak war gut gebraten , die Butter dazu bräuchten wir nicht. Mein Lachstatar hat im Vergleich zum Juni weniger Fisch dafür mehr Paprika gehabt. Diesmal waren Mungosprossen beim Küchenteam wohl voll das coole Zeug . Überall lagen sie drauf, auf meinen Trüffelnudeln leider auch. Nudeln waren OK. Punktabzug in Sachen Ästhetik. Diese Salz und Pfefferstreuer in dieser 'NoName' Optik kann ich einfach nicht nachvollziehen. Vielleicht ist das eh. Juist Ding, da ich diese in mehreren Restaurants entdeckt habe. Aber ihr habt ein so wunderschönes Interieur, das verschandelt ihr damit schon fast. Bei einem Tisch mitten im Raum war es mir auch etwas zu dunkel. Service ist nett.

Wunderschöne Location mit toller Speisenkarte

Die Karte ist recht groß, trotzdem waren die Speisen, die wir bestellten, alle von guter Qualität und echt lecker. Miesmuscheln, Flammkuchen, Lachs... Alles sehr gut. Die Nachspeisen sind üppig und wirklich richtig lecker. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Sind solche geschlechter- vorurteilsbehafteten Floskeln 2023 noch euer Ernst ? "...HIER GENIESST „MANN“ NICHT NUR „STEAK“, SONDERN „FRAU“ AUCH ALLES, WAS MIT NACHHALTIGEN, REGIONALEN ZUTATEN...." traurig, ich werde schon deshalb mein Geld woanders ausgeben!

Das Fleisch war sehr lecker gegrillt und auch du Beilagen passend, geschmacklich auf jedenfall empfehlenswert. Auch für mich war es auch mit Zölliakie war es kein Problem, der Kellner wusste gut Bescheid. Als die Küche versehentlich Croûtons auf meinen Salat gelegt, hat sich der sehr freundliche Kellner direkt drum gekümmert. Die Wein Empfehlungen waren ebenfalls sehr passend und auch das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Gerne wieder :)

Meine Frau und ich waren zum ersten Mal in den Herbstferien dort speisen, obwohl wir schon mehrmals auf Juist waren. Man hat uns dieses Restaurant von mehreren Personen vor Ort Empfohlen. Wir waren von dem modernen aber doch von der sehr gemütlichen Atmosphäre angetan. Tagsüber wirkt das Restaurant normal aber aber mit der gemütlichen Innenbeleuchtung abends sehr schön. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl ist sehr gut. Für jeden etwas auf der Karte. Unsere Speisen kamen sehr schön angerichtet auf den Tisch. Geschmacklich haben die Speisen das widergegeben, was man erwartet hat. Wir waren mit allen Speisen und Getränken sehr zufrieden und nichts zu bemängeln. Von unserer Seite, können wir dieses Lokal für einen schönen Abend mit Essen und Getränken nur sehr weiter Empfehlen.

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente! Besonders begeistert hat mich die riesige Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten.

Wir waren heute mit 5 Personen vor Ort, erstes Fazit: TOP!!! Ambiente, Service, Speisenauswahl, Wohlfühlfaktor und Qualität auf hohem Niveau. Worauf es ankommt: Geschmack, Zubereitung und Präsentation: sehr stark!!! Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, wenn man wirklich etwas kritisieren möchte, das aber auf hohem Level und hat keinen Einfluss auf die überdurchschnittliche hohe Bewertung: die Nachspeisenvielfalt könnte etwas größer sein. :-) toller Abend mit hohem positiven Erinnerungsfaktor. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Vor genau 100 Tagen haben wir bei Carl Steakmann unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Und das war die richtige Entscheidung! Wirklich toller Service, super Essen, tolle Weinauswahl und das perfekte Ambiente. Preisleistung absolut angemessen! Danke für die Gestaltung eines perfekten Tages.

Wir waren letzten Freitag dort essen. Super nettes und freundliches Personal , welches sehr aufmerksam ist. Die Portionen war sehr gut. Ich hatte den Schafskäse als Vorspeise, und das Rumpsteak als Hauptgang. Es war rundum sehr gut! Immer wieder gerne

Bester Burger, den ich je gegessen habe! Innen wie außen sehr gelungenes Ambiente. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Burger gibt es nur draußen und nur bei gutem Wetter.

Einfach nur toll. Essen sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich, Servicepersonal freundlich und das Ambiente sehr stylisch. Deswegen muß man immer reservieren, für 2 Personen aber meist einen Tag zuvor unproblematisch. Immer wieder gerne, bis zum nächsten Jahr:)

Wunderbar! Bei schönem Wetter in der BBQ Bar bei tollem Ambiente (Sitzgelegenheiten aus Holz mit Stil) super Service genossen. Nette Kellner, das Essen war hervorragend. Hier kann man ohne bedenken hin!!!🍻

Ein bisschen wie Fast Food. Nur dass es nicht wirklich schnell ging. Das Essen war trotzdem gut.

Optisch sehr ansprechendes Restaurant, ideal gelegen - direkt am Kurplatz. Leider ist ein Besuch bisher jedes Mal mit deutlicher Wartezeit bis zur Bestellung und dann auch aufs Essen verbunden. Service ist freundlich und bemüht, allerdings leider eine One-Man-Show für alle Terrassen Gäste. Essen ist ok, nach einer 2. Getränkerunde wird nicht gefragt, leere Teller auch nicht abgeräumt. Abends zentral noch in der Sonne sitzen, ist hier der echte Mehrwert des Restaurants.
