Café Safran in Jena

I really enjoy picking up my food here and always look forward to it. The staff are friendly, so it's worth stopping by, especially if you live in the area. My food was ready quickly, pickup is easy, and it always tastes exactly how I want it, and I even get full twice.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, das Restaurant Cafe Saffron zu besuchen und ich muss sagen, dass ich sehr beeindruckt war. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend und die Zutaten waren frisch und von höchster Qualität. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, verschiedene Gerichte zu probieren und jedes einzelne war köstlich. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war klein aber angenehm . Der Service war schnell und freundlich, was den Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Insgesamt kann ich das Restaurant Cafe Saffron jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach qualitativ hochwertigem Essen ist. Es ist definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Ordered via Lieferando about 45 minutes before pickup, and the pickup was problem-free and on time. The food was delicious, with a huge flatbread, which even two people couldn't manage. The meat was very tender, the sauce was delicious, and the Persian rice was nice and fluffy. Overall, the prices were reasonable.

I've only found such good kashke bademjan once before, in Isfahan. The various khoresht are also very tasty (I only know the vegan ones). One portion of the main course + side dish is always easily enough for one dinner and the next lunch. So far, the delivery has always been very punctual, or even a little earlier than ordered.

Olivier sandwich - no chicken or potatoes at all, just weird-tasting sauce on dry white bread. Koobideh and Joje - consist of very little meat, half a grilled vine tomato, and a quarter of a raw onion? What's that supposed to mean? I have to force myself to eat a dry skewer of meat and flatbread? Karai - 250 ml of tomato soup for €12? There's no sign of any of the other ingredients, except for a small piece of chicken. In return, I get flatbread for three weeks, which I have to eat dry. Sheer audacity. The portion size is the tiniest I've ever seen, and in terms of taste, everyone I know can make better food at home.

We had the food delivered and that worked well. Unfortunately, the various dishes were all not good. One dish only consisted of a chicken leg and dry rice. One dish was far too few, but there was a huge dry flatbread. The Bolanis were dry, there wasn't enough sauce for dipping and they didn't taste particularly exciting. Very disappointing.

We had ordered something home. It was delicious, on time and the driver was very friendly. Be sure to try the naan bread.

Das Essen hat zwar gut geschmeckt aber die Portionsgröße ist eine Frechheit. Haben Karai und ein Sandwich bestellt. Das Karai für 11,50 Euro wurde in einer Mini Verpackung geliefert und das Sandwich war extrem trocken. Sehr schade und ausbaufähig.

Nette Bedienung und gute Preise. Kaffee und Kekse sind sehr lecker.

Es war sooo lecker, Lieferservice prima. Hatten verschiedene Speisen. Ghorme sabzi und Bolani waren besonders toll. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Really good. Fair price and the food is fresh and newly made. The young cashier was very friendly. Very nice time with a friend to go in the evening and eat something nice. They also have traditional sweets and ice cream too.

Sehr leckeres und selbstgekochtes Essen. Das dauert eben seine Zeit. Aber es lohnt sich zu warten. Es gibt eine täglich wechselnde Mittagskarte mit einem vegetarischen und einem Fleischgericht sowie einer Suppe. Das muss aber morgens bestellt werden. Einen Lieferdienst gibt es auch. Definitiv ein Besuch wert!

Sehr gute Gastgeber und freundliche Personal:) vor allem das Essen war sehr lecker und traditionell. Ich werde dieses Restaurant immer weiter empfehlen und mal wieder hin fahren:)

Positives: die Vorspeisen waren sehr schmackhaft, insbesondere die gefüllten Teigtaschen, das Fladenbrot war frisch und lecker, Kritik: überteuerte Hauptspeisen, kaum Fleisch enthalten, zu viel Reis bei zu wenig Soße, Essen wurde lauwarm/fast kalt geliefert, Safran fehlte beim Safranreis

Leckeres Essen. Freitags Fleisch vom Grill. Hausgemachtes Fladenbrot. Top!!!! Komme gerne wieder.

It is a new opening Iranian restaurant. I think it can be far better. The quality of the food is not bad but not the best fo this price. Also ghorme-sabzi is different from Iranian one. It is licated in nice neighborhood and eating food in its balcony is enjoyable.

Hatte Kichererbsen in Tomatensauce mit Safranreis. War super.

Ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen! Neulich geöffnet, doch wurde sehr schnell beliebt. Das essen schmeckt wirklich sehr köstlich. Es gibt auch Vegetarische essen. Dafür die fünf Sterne.
