Cafe Restaurant Munay in Münster

We’ve been here a few times and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The food is flavorful and fresh. I really recommend the steak offer. My wife prefers the lomito triple. The service is friendly and quick. Given the quality, the food is quite affordable. I hope this place never changes.

Excellent! Friendly, very charming service, food arrived very quickly, delicious drink recommendations, and excellent dishes! Plus, good prices and South American specialties. Plus, you can sit comfortably inside or outside. What more could you want!

The restaurant's ambiance is really nice – tastefully decorated, and the staff very friendly. We went there during our lunch break and ordered churros and a waffle with chocolate sauce to go. Unfortunately, it took quite a while to get our food. The churros – just five small pieces – were very hard, and the waffle tasted more like bread. You'd think a waffle is actually hard to mess up. We paid €10 for both snacks – quite a hefty price for the quality and quantity. It's a real shame, because the ambiance and the friendly staff had actually made a much better impression.

Highly recommended!!!!! We were there spontaneously for dinner. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and super nice. We would love to come back!!!! 😊

Quite inconspicuous from the outside, but a table was taken outside because it was still in the sun. Ordered Lomo Saltado, it was SENSATIONAL, perfectly seasoned, good quality, portion large enough and very nice service. Prices are completely okay, gladly again 👍🏼

First warm iced chocolate of my life. Why 😶

Didn't feel like serving us. First ignored for 5 minutes and then acted as if he didn't understand us, he turned around and left.

We went there in a group of 5 people. There was a tablecloth on the table we were assigned to, which was unfortunately dirty. Two of the group had ordered Estrella Galicia, 0.4l. We could see beer being poured too quickly from several bottles at the bar. That's why one of the glasses was full of foam and half of the beer was probably still in the bottles that we didn't receive. After we pointed out that one of the glasses wasn't full, the waitress couldn't really give an answer; it gave the impression that she didn't understand the connection. When ordering the food, two of the group ordered the grilled chicken. Unfortunately what came was breaded chicken, something very different. Two each ordered the steak medium. The pieces of meat were quite thick - unfortunately the meat was raw rather than medium. Overall, the portions were quite small and not enough for a full dinner. The dishes were nevertheless rather expensive and precisely because of this. All in all, there was nothing fundamental to complain about about the visit, but too many details were simply not right, which is why we probably won't visit the Munay restaurant again. What a shame!

I ordered the grilled fish fillet and instead of rice I also got it with fries and homemade mayo. It was perfect except for a few very small bones. You could also order oat milk if you were lactose intolerant. I also liked the yoghurt ice cream with honey as a dessert, the cocoa and the chairs that were easy to sit on. You could also sit outside on the terrace.

A very good place to eat and have a good time with family and friends. Amazing menu. Super friendly and attentive staff. Some of the best seasonings of Peruvian food dishes that I have tried so far. 100% recommended.

Excellent Peruvian food restaurant with homemade seasoning, good prices, good portions and the menu is very varied and there are vegetarian and vegan options. The place is very cozy and its decoration is very beautiful. They have a permanent exhibition of works of art. The place also has a beautiful terrace, ideal for having a few beers in summer. The staff is very friendly and the attention is first class. It is pet friendly and the ice creams are children's favorites. Next to the terrace there is also a play area for them. Thank you! Very tasty Peruvian food and very nice staff. The store is also very nicely designed.

Friendly service and pleasant outdoor seating. The menu reflects the mix of cafe and restaurant. There is oat milk as an option for coffee as well as a small ice cream counter, the contents of which the children rated very positively.

We were there today. The boss complained to the employees in front of the customers. The food was overpriced. The tables were empty.

After I found out from the boss this week that he serves Estrella beer, I'll probably eat there a few more times in the summer. In my opinion, the food is good value for money and tastes good! Overall, I like the family atmosphere there that the owner family and their many friends exude.

The portion was shockingly small and carelessly slapped away, but when asked, a small portion was brought to the table.

Something different...;-) We didn't have Chinese, Greek, German, Spanish but Peruvian yet. I wanted to do something different and surprise my wife for her birthday. She was really excited and wants to go there again. The food was also great, no matter what we had. I had steak strips and they were a little spicier, you have to like them. The prices are okay, we recommend going there at lunchtime, good cheap lunch. The staff is young and nice, as is the owner, who is a bit older.😉 My wish for a little surprise was also fulfilled and discussed well by email and on site. There was a small lava cake for my wife, she was very happy. All around a great evening, good food and good service. The beer was also delicious and there was something for the little one, he was also happy. By the way, there is also a good ice cream counter there. Thanks for the great evening. If you want to try something new, then you've come to the right place. Have fun and enjoy your meal. We haven't been so positively surprised by foreign food in a long time!👌🏻

Food and service are really great, very satisfactory. Ambience is quite nice, but could be better.

The food was really good and the service was also very friendly. But the atmosphere was rather bare. More of a fast food joint. The portions of the food weren't that big either.

A small restaurant; The menu wasn't too big but I was very impressed with the quality of my food. The beef was tender, the sauce with tomatoes and onions was spicy and aromatic, and the fries were the best I've ever had. Price: not super cheap but totally reasonable for the quality and location. It was my first time eating Peruvian, but not the last time. :)

A nice little place. Food delicious. It wasn't full, despite the "old women". In summer you can also sit outside. Definitely come back.

Okay, but there is room for improvement

A small, cute restaurant with friendly service and a nice ambience. The menu is not very long, but there are still enough vegetarian alternatives. The food was delicious and no more expensive than other restaurants.

We were there at lunchtime with our two children and ordered lunch. The children were able to play outside in the playground while we waited for the food. The food was very tasty. Everyone was well fed by the portions. A big compliment also goes to the very friendly service! All in all, completely satisfied.

Nicht nur das Essen hat mir gefallen, sondern auch das Ambiente. Die MitarbeiterInnen waren sehr freundlich. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen dort essen zu gehen, vor allem das Rumpsteak „Plaza acho“ kann ich hierbei empfehlen.

Einfach schön am Campus und das Eis bei Munay ist extrem empfehlenswert!!!

Eigentlich toll….aber Der Cappuccino und Milchkaffee waren sehr gut, die kleinen Teigtaschen mit Huhn und Gemüse köstlich, die Churros frisch und lecker. Sehr störend war leider der Umgangston des Chefs mit seinen (aus unserer Sicht) durchweg freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeiterinnen. Er maßregelte und gängelte sie völlig unnötig und absolut unangemessen. Das alles laut und ungeniert. Es war peinlich. Jeder kann mal gestresst sein….aber dann würde ein Blick auf die eigene Website als Reminder und Korrektiv helfen: „Munay steht für die Liebe für die kleinen Dinge, die Liebe zum Detail, für Freundlichkeit, Fürsorge, Wärme, Reinheit und Gastfreundschaft.“

Modernes peruanisches Restaurant im Germania Campus. Tolles Essen zu guten Preisen. Die Speisekarte ist zwar überschaubar, dafür ist die Qualität der Gerichte top. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und das Ambiente ist modern gehalten, mit etwas peruanischer Dekoration. Man kann auch draußen direkt am Wasser sitzen. Eine Mittagskarte mit guten Angeboten die auch am Wochenende gilt rundet alles ab. Gerne wieder

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und haben sehr schöne Plätze bekommen. Das Inhaber geführte Restaurant ist liebevoll eingerichtet; das Ambiente wirklich wunderbar passend zu einem Abend mit peruanischem Essen. Als wir bei der Bestellung eine Frage zu zwei Gerichten hatten, kam sogar der Küchenchef zu uns und erklärte alles freundlich und genau. Das hat gleich so eine besondere Atmosphäre geschaffen! Die verschiedenen Gerichte waren geschmacklich vielseitig und haben uns begeistert, genauso wie auch die hausgemachte Limonade oder die ganz hervorragenden Churros dulce de leche! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich zugewandt, aber nie aufdringlich! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Hierher kommen wir jederzeit sehr gerne wieder!

Super Cafe, toller Kaffee, lecker Speisen besonders Causa mit Kartoffeln. Alles sehr sauber, Besteck und die Teller. WC sauber. Schön gelegen für Familien mit Kindern am Spielplatz. Preis ist in Ordnung, für die Qualität angemessen. Komme aufjedenfall wieder.

Exzellent, sehr aufmerksame und absolut freundliche Bedienung, sehr kinderfreundlich Die Speisen sind authentisch, genau wie als wenn man in Peru wäre Ist das einzige peruanische Restaurant die die Bezeichnung ‚peruanisch‘ verdient. Außerdem ist die Café-Abteilung mit einer Eisauswahl nicht zu verachten. Die beste Empfehlung für Münster

Haben heute den 4. Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Wir und unsere Gäste waren sehr zufrieden. Sonderwünsche konnten unkompliziert besprochen werden.
