It's a shame the waitress prefers to talk to other employees instead of guests 40 year old guests are treated like second class!!!!!!!!! The food was dry and hardly any sauce! But you couldn't order anything else You really don't have to go to the Spunte anymore!

Had an extremely bad meal with my husband in the Bürgerstuben. The fish was extremely fatty and fried, the fat was on your lips and in your mouth, still causing extreme nausea. The duck was bone dry and not fresh. Rarely in my life have I eaten such a bad meal for €95. Local wine was good.

Price performance is good. Food was plentiful and tasty

We had the cheese spaetzle and unfortunately it was the worst we have ever eaten, it was swimming in an indefinable sauce. We actually wanted to return the dish straight away but somehow ended up half eating it. The knuckle was ok but bland, too little sauce and you have to pay extra for more sauce. Not recommended!

Waiters friendly. Always an eye for the guests. We had shredded beef and a tavern pan, we liked it and the portion was big enough. Priced in the upper range. Tables clean.

In terms of price, it's a tourist corner, so you have to take that into account. The portions are big enough to fill you up and taste really good. Depending on your space, you have a direct view of the kitchen and can watch the employees preparing food.

We were spontaneously in Konstanz this Sunday and spontaneously decided to go to the Bürgerstuben to get something to eat. The menu is very diverse and it's really difficult to decide on something. In the end, as you can see in the pictures, there was roast pork with sauerkraut and potato dumplings as well as onion roast on cheese spaetzle with fried onions. If requested, there was no problem adding an additional dumpling, as one wasn't enough for me personally. But the portions are very generous and I had to struggle at the end 😄 It was very tasty and everything was eaten, we were really very satisfied and can therefore definitely give it a 5 star rating. Price performance is absolutely top 👍🏻

As the name - Bürgerstuben - already suggests, you can get very good middle-class, South German, regional food here. The menu also shows burgers etc. Everything is clean and accurate, service is friendly and fast. The lunch menu shows a small selection at fair prices. When the weather is good, you can sit outside very well and have a panoramic view without being bothered by traffic

I ordered the Maul Barren Burger. Unfortunately, my mouth really fell open because the meat wasn't seasoned, the whole citizen stood under the salamander for far too long and as a result the lettuce was too dry, the roll was too dry and the meat was simply not good due to the lack of groats and no sauce. It's a shame It's a shame, it could have made a lot more out of a dual citizen. Great atmosphere is fun to sit there. Good drinks, the service is quick, but unfortunately I think the citizens weren't that good that day.

Direkt am Bahnhof ist man vielleicht die schnelle Abfertigung gewöhnt. Lieblosigkeit war deswegen leider vom Service Spürbar. Essen war okay und nett angerichtet

Solid location, with very fast service and wonderful food. There are very good regional dishes but also various other dishes, so there is something for everyone.

All in all a successful evening. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was really tasty... even if the price was on the upper limit... but that's probably due to the proximity to Switzerland... It was also positive that the terrace was very spacious and also accommodated larger groups Find space.

Unfortunately, our evening in the Bürgerstuben fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the dishes are below average for the prices (Wiener Schnitzel for 30 euros..) and the kitchen really needs to improve. The service was good and the ambience was fine. The roast pork was dry and the sauce was a mixture of bagged product and butter (quote from a trained chef at our table). Pork knuckle was juicy, just the same problem with the sauce. Chanterelle risotto was generous with chanterelles, but unfortunately oversalted and the rice wasn't fully cooked yet. We hope that the Bürgerstuben will return to their old quality or adjust the prices to the quality of the cuisine.

When I first entered, I said hello to employee A, and while I was debating whether to sit inside or outside, the employee just left. In the end, another employee B came, but employee K brought the food. I told him the name of the dish and asked where I would like it, and a Sikan man answered the menu, but he gave it to the person sitting across from him, not to the person who ordered it. There were four of us and the staff gave us the wrong menu three times. They couldn't help but think that we were evil. From the beginning, Employee A conveyed his attitude that he did not want to treat us as customers, so I wish the restaurant would retrain him. Wirtshaus Pfanne was decent enough. It's salty like German food. I ordered a salmon steak for 32 euros, but the barley was too salty and the overall taste was not well balanced. The Haksendo sauce didn't suit my taste and didn't seem to blend well with the salmon. There are many dead flowers and live and dead flies on the window sill.

We had double meat burgers, which were sublime. My wife had a very good chicken salad. The portions were big and the service great. The problem is that their beverages are way overpriced: the cheapest is 200ml of soda == 4 euros!

Good food and good drinks at a reasonable price-performance ratio. In my opinion, the street next door, as long as you sit outside, doesn't bother you either. The staff is also courteous and very friendly. Highly recommended!

The food is good but they scam tourists. First, they charged us 4.80€ for a single glass of water (not even bottled water). Then, they asked for a mandatory tip when we were about to pay. We said we don't want to tip, it's not mandatory, and the waiter started to be mad and telling us that we said we liked the food but we don't want to tip... We ended up eventually tipping a small percentage and the waiter charged us more that what we said. I cannot recommend this place if you are a tourist, and I wonder if they act the same with local people.

Food is simply great. Big praise to the great strong sauces 🙏 very strong and great 👍 I always come to Konstanz for work and then go to the Bürgerstuben, which are really highly recommended. Today we had Maultaschen with potato salad and gravy. 😋

Welcoming restaurant with delicious food and fast service. Short waiting times for food and drinks.

Unfortunately, not a single vegan option is shown on the menu. Nowadays it's simply a "must" if you want to be international - as is usual in Konstanz. There don't have to be different options to choose from, but 1-2 vegan dishes would make a lot of sense.

We were very happy with the food! Extraordinary quality of the food! I had rump steak with fresh chanterelles and rosemary potatoes. My accompaniment was roast pork with potato dumplings and sauerkraut. It was simply delicious and highly recommended! The dumpling in particular was to die for!

Very good home-style cooking. Sit comfortably inside or outside. Attentive and friendly service. For me, the slightly higher prices are definitely justified. Very good!

Definitely worth a visit! The service was courteous and we were allowed to choose our table freely. We sat outside, so it was just a little louder because of the adjacent street. Regarding food: The portions of the dishes were above average and generous for a very good price. It was very delicious! Something for everyone who appreciates southern German cuisine :)

Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Leider muss man in diesem Restaurant vor dem Service und den nicht transparenten Preisen warnen. Eine Person aus unserer Gruppe bestellte Spätzle mit einer Pfifferling-Rahmsoße. Nachdem nur die Spätzle mit Pfifferlingen serviert wurden, wurde auf Nachfrage die Rahmsoße nachgereicht. Hierfür wurden 2,50 EUR extra berechnet, obwohl die Rahmsoße auf der Karte angegeben war. Eine weitere Person bestellte Spätzle mit Rahmsoße (ohne Pilze) und 2 Radler. Sie bekam eine Rechnung vom 32,00 EUR. Die Zusammensetzung des Preises konnte uns der Kellner nicht erklären, er bestand auf die Zahlung. Anhand der Angaben auf der Speisekarte hätten 10,00 EUR weniger berechnet werden müssen. Ebenfalls wurden mehr Getränke berechnet, als tatsächlich bestellt wurden. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen kann ich das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

The taste of the food was okay. Unfortunately, you have to warn about the service and the non-transparent prices in this restaurant. One person in our group ordered spaetzle with a chanterelle cream sauce. After only the spaetzle with chanterelles were served, the cream sauce was added upon request. An extra EUR 2.50 was charged for this, even though the cream sauce was stated on the menu. Another person ordered spaetzle with cream sauce (without mushrooms) and 2 shandies. She received an invoice for EUR 32.00. The waiter couldn't explain the price to us and insisted on paying. Based on the information on the menu, EUR 10.00 less should have been charged. Also, more drinks were charged than were actually ordered. Based on these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Centrally located restaurant with “German” cuisine near the train station. Very friendly service staff (Ukrainians?). The food we ordered was on the table after a short time. Outside you sit at eye level with the main road passing by. It's quieter inside

Roast cold, schnitzel and knuckle ok, mushroom risotto with few mushrooms but lots of tomatoes and onions, has nothing to do with risotto.

The classic burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Great atmosphere and, despite the slight language barrier, our waiter was excellent and very helpful!! Would gladly dine here again if I ever return to Konstanz!

A delusion! we spent 20 minutes waiting at the table and no waiter approached our table. Two waiters were free but were thinking about looking into the air. We got up and went to another restaurant.

We were looking online for a place to go out for dinner for 6 people. The impression from the outside wasn't so good but when you went in everything was great. The staff was very friendly, the food was great and the prices were great. We recommend

The food was cheap and plenty. However, freshly cooked is different. My baked potato was already wavy and hard on the outside from keeping it warm? Unfortunately, the councilor's pan was also quite caked on. The food came in record time, the composition seemed a bit strange. My glass was pretty damaged and could have been replaced. The service is very nice, but the guys in the kitchen obviously aren't real chefs. Parking garage is right next door.

We waited over an hour for the worst spaetzle. Hardly any cheese and they were floating in water. It's just a tourist rip-off right at the train station. The best thing was the biscuit with the coffee.

Nothing was going on and it took you over 20 minutes to get 1 cola and 1 cola wheat. So we paid €9.20 for which we had to leave and couldn't drink because the train was coming. And instead of showing empathy you accept the money and are unfriendly to boot.

Food was good. As soon as we ordered, like the waiter was standing there and I said something and 2 second later I wanted to change it but the waiter said the order is already sent inside. How can they start making a chicken burger in 2 sec 😅 That did not make sense.

Great ambience. Central location near the train station and the harbor/Imperia. Food looked good. But there was little sauce with the meat dish. But it was delivered again upon request. The potato dish also got a bit dry at the end. Otherwise delicious.

It looks very chic here. However, I have to say that the waiters are unfriendly, not too present, not attentive and obviously gossip about the guests. In addition, they don't even understand the basics, like please and thank you, or what the food was like. I ordered a medium Argentinian rump steak for €30, which was well done. I got a new one when I said so. Unfortunately, the new one wasn't medium, but almost raw. It didn't really taste good either. I've had some better steaks for €20 and they were a lot better. The bad thing is that they were even less friendly afterwards and hardly even looked at you anymore. I would have preferred not to give any stars if the option had been available. I couldn't even say goodbye.

The food was tasty but not great. The atmosphere is nice but nothing special. The all-male waiters weren't unfriendly but, in my opinion, inappropriately flirty. People were obviously making fun of me for eating alone, some waiters kept staring at me and conversations were being made in an unpleasant way. In addition, communication was somewhat lacking as none of the waiters could speak German fluently. I would perhaps eat there again, but not alone and if everything else doesn't appeal to me.

The tavern pan tasted good and the portion size was also good. Friends had the pork knuckle and were happy with it, but at this price we would expect the potato dumplings to be homemade.

If u look for something to eat authentic German Cuisine, then u are here at the perfect place. Good prices, food always on point. The portions are ok, if you having extra space in your belly u can get a dessert after. Also Family friendly if u look to have a good lunch or dinner with your kiddos. I always recommend if u are a larger group to reserve tables in advance. Otherwise as single or couple u always get a Table. The atmosphere with the rustic wooden interior and the stone walls is very warm. I love it there.
