Burger Lounge Wandsbek in Hamburg

We visited the place today on Lübecker Straße. The fries were delicious, the staff friendly, but the "homemade burger" was disappointing: smaller than the menu burger, tasted like frozen goods, and the bun seemed industrial. The kids' burger consisted only of a bun, patty, and ketchup – no lettuce, no pickle – simply unloved. Ketchup is free, but you have to pay extra for simple mayo. The atmosphere was okay, but not family-friendly (no changing table). Unfortunately, card payments weren't accepted either. Conclusion: OK for ordering, but not recommended for dine-in. 2 out of 5 stars

Really good burger joint! Four of us went there, and the burgers were really delicious. The milkshakes were also great! The decor is just as a good burger joint should be: American diner style from the 1960s! If we're ever in Hamburg again, we'll definitely stop by. Highly recommended!

April 10, 2025 Went to the Burger Lounge again today. Unbelievable that it's obviously already been seven years... Still highly recommended. I had a "Clint Eastwood" with extra beef and extra cheese for €13.47. Plus fries for €3.79. The fries were great, but quite expensive in my opinion. The burger was very good. I resolve not to let another 7 years pass before I eat here again. Overall very comfortable. Very attentive staff. Clean and overall recommended. 2018: Currently my favorite burger joint. I've been here for lunch several times over the past few months. I always found a seat and was served quickly and friendly. Burger with 125g of meat, fries, drink for around €8.50. Ambience typically American.

By chance near our hotel we ordered two burgers to take away: - big mama and another They were both big and they really fill you up. Ambience nice and typically American. Both tasted much better than McDonald's. We can really recommend the store!

Class local. Great service and damn tasty burgers, fries, hot dogs. Everything your heart desires. At reasonable prices. And the ambience is wow. You immediately feel like you've been transported back in time.

Food was quite good so far, service was relatively good, unfortunately the music was not turned down upon request. Still served relatively quickly. The shop is rather shabby, with broken tiles but otherwise typically American furnishings with film scenes.

A typical American burger joint with very comfortable benches. Food is great, price/performance is very good. The service is warm and courteous. We always enjoy coming here. 10/10

We were warmly welcomed and given great advice. The portions were really sufficient, not too little, not too much. Everything was very tasty. Payment with fair prices was possible via Paypal despite the defective card reader. Kids happy, man happy = everyone 😃 Thanks

The menu is very extensive, in addition to burgers there are also hot dogs, chicken nuggets/wings and steaks. The food is tasty and the price-performance ratio is good. Most of the time it happens quickly. The staff is always very friendly and takes care of the guests.

The ambience fits the theme, you feel like you've been transported to the 1960s in the USA. There is a wide variety of burgers to choose from. I had the Texas Ranger which I can fully recommend. The service is friendly and very attentive. All in all, I can really only recommend the store. And yes, I will come back

I haven't been here in years and wanted to try it again. Burger Lounge can easily compete with Otto's Burger etc. and is even more affordable in terms of price. The salad with chicken was super tasty and totally sufficient. However, I know that you get some bread with the salad, which unfortunately is not the case here. Too bad. The burger is normal size and therefore larger than Otto's Burger. And cheaper. But equally delicious. :) The apple strudel comes from the freezer compartment, but is still always good. Like grandma used to. I can totally recommend the shop right next to the subway. The ambience is typically American, but with discreet music. How often is the music too loud? It's perfect here.

We visited the Burgerlounge Wandsbek for the first time. The food and atmosphere were very good. 5. Stars. My friend forgot her jewelry on the table on site. Since we are already connected via Instagram, we were immediately informed about the loss and we were able to pick up the jewelry on site. Big thanks and very honest. We will recommend the burger lounge and come here regularly. Really great 👏
