Burger King’s own toilets for 1€ Just to wash my hands?

This is truly the worst Burger King I've ever been to. It starts with the ordering terminals, which don't work properly, don't recognize coupons, and then crash... It took me almost 20 minutes to place my order (and I regret not leaving right away!). The burgers were so incredibly disgusting; the ketchup tasted like vinegar and the meat tasted like shoe soles. The fries were soggy and tasted like old grease... I felt sick after just a few bites, so I left everything before I upset my stomach. The place desperately needs to be renovated; everything there is worn out and it looks pretty dingy. I'm still sick from the visit.

No, the store is pretty run down. The furniture is worn. You have to pay for the toilet, and the food wasn't great either. Other branches are better.

They dont speak german, the fries are off for a burger king. Like they are going bad. Cola had an oriental taste. Never again, not here.

Restrooms cost extra. Coupons don't work. Everything is very dirty. French fries taste like old grease.

The touchscreen on the ordering devices is barely working, it takes forever (and a lot of patience) to order even simple things. And its multiple devices not only one bad apple. The workers are not rude by any means but also really slow and not communicating with customers very well.

Nothing here works, neither the order pads nor the waitresses even taking orders. Unfortunately, it doesn't look particularly inviting either.

It's not the prettiest Burger King branch, but it's simply designed and serves its purpose. The food was as you'd expect from Burger King, and the manager was very nice! I actually thought the price was okay, but the product selection is a bit limited (no ice cream, and there was one special offer missing—at least not at the self-service display).

So... I know what to expect when I visit a Burger King similar to ours... but this branch takes the cake... dirty, outrageously expensive, and then you have to pay extra for the toilet?! You can't be serious! The star is solely due to the staff. They can't help it and are friendly. Thanks to you for that, and thanks to Burger King for nothing!

Very small branch. Prices far too high. If the location isn't profitable, then close it down. €15 for a single burger is ridiculous. It was still delicious.

Better buy something somewhere else. Someone is collecting crowns at the expense of all shoppers. So, redeeming coupons isn't possible. Burgers are cold.

Probably the most expensive Burger King in the world. Often, the technology malfunctions and/or they're out of stock. All in all, I wouldn't recommend anyone get a burger here.

Coupons don't work, total rip-off

Pros: Service was fast. Staff is not rude like the reviews say, one of them came out and told us kindly that our meal is ready. They dont do this courtesy in Germany, usually they would just yell around aggressively. Parking is possible, roadside and practical. Tables were clean as we arrived, and despite being understaffed, they cleaned tables as soon as customers left. Cons: Ingredients were not fresh. We could not finish our meals. Toilets are not free but for coins even for customers. This is a world wide oddity for a Burger King, but summarizes much of the entire Germany. Yet, I have never seen a burger king toilet for a fee for customers. Menu is limited. 2 stars for the sake of those understaffed workers who do a good job with the place and what is given to them.

If you can avoid it, don't come here! Why isn't the store closed yet?

Drinks simply taste like nothing and you don't get what you ordered

The store looks old and dirty, the Coke was bottled, there were no ice cubes, and in this heat... And yes, you pay extra for the restrooms.

No card payments are accepted at the vending machine, and only cash is accepted at the checkout. Staff only speak English and are overwhelmed. Burger King should review the store.

This store is on the lower end of the quality spectrum, and what's truly impressive is how abysmally bad the service can be. We're used to a lot, but this was catastrophically unfriendly.

It was understandable that this Burger King franchise only offered reduced opening hours during the pandemic. But the fact that they didn't even put up an information sign on the door on December 27, 2022, announcing when and if they would open at all is absolutely customer-unfriendly. Update from January 7, 2025 Tried there again. They do offer seating, but it's not much fun sitting on torn faux leather. Luckily, the coffee was warm, so I could warm my fingers. Not all of the radiators are ever in use. So the maximum temperature reaches 18°C. Anyone offering indoor dining should heat things up a bit to make guests feel comfortable.

As of the beginning of May 2025: I had to pay €13.09 for a Double Whopper. At other restaurants, the same Burger costs only €9.19. That's over 42% more expensive and a real rip-off. And the best part was that the Burger was completely cold and tasted absolutely disgusting. The place was completely empty, perhaps because of that. My conclusion: never again.

I would rather have chili cheese than eat here again.

Unfortunately, my last visit to this Burger King was very disappointing. The fries tasted really bad – they had a strange aftertaste and an unpleasant smell. So I didn't eat them. Since I ordered takeout and was in a hurry, I couldn't complain on the spot. What also bothered me: Even as a paying customer, you have to pay 1 euro to use the restroom. I think a chain as large as Burger King should offer its customers free restroom access. That's simply not customer-friendly.

Paying €1 to use the bathroom after consuming something makes no sense at all.

What's wrong with you Burger King? No matter where you go, the shops are totally trashed. There were big holes in the benches here, your promotional items with the burritos are not even offered and then after you have spent huge amounts of money you have to pay money for SANIFAIR if you want to use the toilet. You don't have them all anymore.

Service can't even say hello let alone please and thank you. Then you have to pay for the toilets and there is no toilet roll or towel paper in the two women's toilets 😡 they are checked regularly. Really disgusting. The store makes a dirty impression. You don't want to eat anything there

An absolute disgusting thing. The Sanifair toilets (1€) were more disgusting than ever before. Someone shit next to the bowl in the men's room. According to my girlfriend, the women's toilet was unusable and the toilet was completely full of shit. Disgusting disgusting! Report to the WKD is out. Belongs closed. After I said this, the employee just nodded. I'm not taking photos because it was so disgusting!!!!

Food ok, just BK. But in the men's toilet there is a nice pile on the toilet seat.

When you come in you feel completely welcomed, no one at the counter, you can hear giggling from employees at the back. 5 minutes pass, there is no response to hello calls. Then I went over to the gas station! Never again !

It's just not worth it anymore. I used to visit that BK for years, but the decline is just awful. They don't take any coupons, there is no pick up option, a very limited burger selection, rarely any specials and the friendly personnel is gone. Sad to see that this actually great location is treated so poorly.

The on-site staff collects amounts that are not visible on the invoice. The normal cash registers are also blocked due to communication problems. I would like my money back for the food, which was also inedible

Unfortunately there is no Burger King branch as we know it!!! It's a shame and it was my first time there and I'm definitely not coming back!!! Use of the toilet costs 1 euro extra, then it was still broken. I'm definitely the last person to be bothered when something goes wrong etc. but that's really a bit too much of a good thing. Where is the control that the branch adheres to the standards?

App cannot be used, so no coupons. 6 nuggets cost €6.79, everything is about 30 percent more expensive. Toilet is from sanifair and therefore subject to a charge. The branch was not heated and therefore extremely cold. Seat cushions are torn and chairs are partially defective. Absolutely underground.

Rest stops are just for collecting money! Ordering on the touchscreen is disgusting, friendly employees were immediately helpful! Prices are exorbitant!

I think it's a shame that you have to pay an extra €1 for the toilet. Normally that's part of the deal and I'm used to it from other Burger King restaurants. The fries were too salty and your lip burned.

INCREDIBLY DISGUSTED! Apart from the fact that none of the staff spoke German, their behavior towards customers increasingly leaves something to be desired. The compilation of our order (1EW+3K) of over €50 was sloppy, unclean and incomplete! When handing over the receipt is taken from the customer... - how are you supposed to check/prove the order?! And purely for information purposes, the receipt is the property of the buyer! Please convey this to your branches! The toilets could only be accessed for a fee, then they didn't even work, & in terms of hygiene, cleanliness & impertinence it was hell! Nothing, nothing at all was wrong with this branch. But everything contradicts the principles and requirements of BK!

Super unfriendly service. Looks shabby. The waitress at the counter watched us for 5 minutes as we tried to scan our voucher. Only when we asked did they tell us in an unfriendly tone that the vouchers were not valid in this restaurant.

Food was good as always. Unfortunately, the service was hardly German-speaking. We preferred to sit in the car because there were crumbs and leftovers on the tables from our predecessors. Unfortunately, the leather on some of the seats was torn.

Terrible. The app's QR codes are simply not accepted and the user's own menu is pointed out. The prices seem a lot higher to me than in other stores, almost €9 for a Whopper? Basically the place is pretty rocky. I also noticed a lot of flies while waiting at my castles. I won't go there again and can't recommend it to anyone!

You had to go to the hotel for the toilets. Food was cold and not complete, a disgrace for the price. It wasn't really clean either. If you don't want to eat good cold food, you can't really recommend it.

To! It can't be that it's closed without information on the door! No opening hours to be found... well, what should you expect from this chain? Nothing.

Outside it said: "9 a.m. to 11 p.m." and you could read from an order machine outside "! Due to the opening times" At that point it was 10:37 p.m

Had to pay for the toilet, still ok. However, the payment machine was broken, also ok, unfortunately there was no alternative, not ok. Hygiene very bad. The staff took note of this information, but that was it. The food is well known at BK, you can't go wrong. Unfortunately, in this branch you were only allowed to order at the electronic counter, the service staff specifically pointed out... there was no information as to why this wasn't possible! Ambiance 1 star because seats were torn, the windows hadn't been cleaned for more than a few months. Dear BK, you can do better, so show that too.

Worst Burger King in Germany. More expensive than other branches, not air-conditioned, unhygienic impression, food tastes like old fat. I stopped eating when I saw the mice outside. Tables and chairs outside were also dirty with bird droppings. Definitely not worth a visit.

Food was as usual, service was very accommodating and nice, but the ambience was a bit "worn." Contactless payment at Sanyfair was not possible at all and vouchers could not be used or redeemed. A pity.
