The cleanliness leaves much to be desired; furthermore, hardly any of the staff speak German (there isn't a single German-speaking employee); the food is abysmal; the staff is dismissive, rude, and sometimes even cheeky; the wait times for a fast-food restaurant are unreasonable; absolutely not recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finally, Burger King Solingen again – this time with a happy ending instead of a greasy film! 🍔🍟 After years of consistently avoiding it (for reasons every Solingen resident probably knows 😅), I happened to drive by today – and lo and behold: Renovated! So I thought to myself: courage is rewarded – or punished with stomach cramps. Thankfully, the former! As I walked in, I noticed: an employee was actually taking care of the outside area! Not a wilted straw in sight. The displays were sparkling, the tables were clean – I was almost touched. I ordered the classic way – burger, fries, Coke – and lo and behold: everything was hot, fresh, and complete! (Anyone who knew the old Burger King Solingen knows that back then, that was as rare as a unicorn at a drive-thru 🦄). The burger looked just like the photo—almost too good to be true. Taste-wise: truly top-notch! I'll try the drive-thru next time, but for now, thumbs up—the place has really done well! I hope this isn't a one-time hit. I'll be back—maybe even voluntarily 😄

The service that day was, how should I say, not entirely focused. First the wrong drink, then a deposit bottle instead of a reusable cup. And the food took almost 15 minutes to arrive, despite there being only two other customers.

I had a triple chili cheese and onion rings. I also had chili cheese nuggets. The onion rings were good, the nuggets were mediocre, and the burger was terrible. It was cold and had probably been sitting there for 30 minutes. Also, I think the patties were supposed to be grilled on both sides, which clearly wasn't the case. If I hadn't kept driving, I would have complained.

One of the cleanest Burger Kings I know. Orders are processed quickly, the food is decent, and there's plenty of parking right outside. Only the outdoor seating could use a bit more cleaning.

SPEAK GERMAN — SPEAK LOUDLY ENOUGH! I'm not learning Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Shlong, or even Hautamallahallahab. In Germany, I want to be served in German if I'm paying somewhere with money I earned hard in Germany! Open your mouth when speaking, madam, from anywhere! Please SPEAK loudly enough that the squelch on your headset is turned up and your voice can be heard by customers outside – not just fragments. Or just leave the headset to a colleague who always has to chime in when you take orders anyway, "Thank you!" The burgers are way better than at BuKi in Haan!

After many years, I wanted to treat myself to a Burger King. I went in; it wasn't busy. I ordered. I drove home. I looked in the bag. A Whopper and a large fries were missing. 😅 Really annoying and sad.

The pitches are getting dirtier and dirtier, and so is the floor…they simply never clean it (at 11:45 in the morning).

Clean Burger King branch. Recently renovated. Food is good. Fries are even fresh. Burgers are still warm.

I waited a very long time for food (over 20 minutes) and then received the wrong citizen, but I only noticed it at home. That means I paid too much.

The staff at this Burger King is extremely slow and disorganized. The service is very poor, and the wait time is far too long.

I can only recommend this place to anyone who might even boycott the big yellow M. The people aren't shrinking; they're still the same size as they were 20 years ago, and I find the food very tasty. There's also a drive-thru.

The quality is absolutely terrible. Some of the buns are old, and the lettuce is completely wilted. It makes absolutely no sense to stop there. Better to drive straight to McDonald's on Frankfurter Damm.

I'd like to order online. So, hunger regularly drives me to McDonald's, where I can order online. I like to order online, drive to the drive-thru, and then leave again. I don't like standing in front of a menu board and then having to order under time pressure. I'd rather order in the app and then just pick it up. Since this branch doesn't offer this service, they're losing sales because of me. I'm probably not the only one who feels this way. It's a shame, because I like the food better than at McDonald's.

The Burger King is very cozy, the restrooms are clean, and the food is good. The staff is very friendly. We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Solingen. The ventilation could be better.

The food was OK. The service was quite nice.

Well...several windows were covered in dead flies (see pictures!). You had to "find" a clean table! (see pictures!) Food scraps under the tables! I've rarely seen such a state in a hotel!

My family, including my child, was threatened in the car while I was inside placing my order. I then asked if we could pick up our food at the drive-up, but I was denied and ignored. I spoke to the shift manager, and they didn't allow us to pick up the food at the drive-up. McDonald's is guilty, but they do things like this in cases like this.

Difficult, we were threatened in the parking lot and when we asked inside whether we could pick it up at the counter outside because we wanted to leave, all we got was, call the police, I don't care... on the subject of customer orientation, I call it a dirty shop and avoid it...

It was nice but there were no napkins in the restroom and many of the tables were dirty, the service was fast and delicious

The restaurant is okay, the food tastes as good as always. BUT, unfortunately, they don't take into consideration people who have to poop afterward. The toilet paper is an insult to every customer. You can't even call it single-ply. Please correct me, thank you!

Were at the drive in with colleagues. You used to get 2 x Big King XXL in the menu for €9.99. Now just a Big King XXL costs €13.50! Went to McDonalds.

It's 0:22 the shop is open until 0:30 I want to order he doesn't accept the order says my clock is already 30. Nabil the shift leader always wants to finish work early when I knocked lightly on the window he says to open it and say knock again then see what happens. So because I'm in the right, should I expect trouble?

Just fast food. Was empty, order received suspiciously quickly and tasted like I remembered from my last visit to a Burger King in the last decade. I have no idea who and why you should take the time to evaluate fast food.

Burger King has simply become so exorbitantly expensive that it's simply no longer worth eating there. A double cheeseburger for 4.29 or a simple chili burger for 2.99 is just totally over the top! Then I'd rather get something from an Italian or Chinese restaurant, as the price-performance ratio is at least still right.

I was at Burger King recently and I have to say I was very disappointed. The restaurant was unhygienic and it looked like cleanliness wasn't taken seriously here. Additionally, one employee was obviously drunk, which made things even worse. I waited over 40 minutes for my order and that is simply unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We just avoid this place, the food is still okay and average. Basically, this is not a place to feel comfortable. I also don't want to see people in civilian clothes behind the counter, other fast food restaurants manage to at least appear professional and clean. It's just a personal impression.

The only Burger King in the Solingen and Opladen area that has hot food. The nuggets are crispy and the burgers are fresh. Much better than the one in Opladen.

Coupons were entered incorrectly several times through the drive-in intercom. All good, that can happen. Until we were summoned to the counter. Apparently it was the store's opera mufti who told us that the coupons we had entered could no longer be reversed in the system and that we had to give them the correct numbers. Then we said goodbye and drove to the competition.

The Burger King was pretty good. We were there with a friend on mountain bikes after a long tour. Unfortunately they didn't let us through the drive thru, but otherwise it was great. It was clean too.

Waited 30 minutes, employees visibly work at a very relaxed pace. 2 parts of the order (worth about €7) were missing.. 💀

Something is always forgotten and you only notice it when you get home. I'm starting to have the feeling that this is almost happening on purpose. The fries are always placed at the top of the bag, instead of being placed so that half is in the bag and the rest is in the packaging. You can't reach in to see if everything is there and you often make a mistake and only notice when you get home that something is missing. Very stupid people have to work there and a very stingy boss.

Because, oh what an anxious time! I lingered for a long time, longer than the noble art of preparation deserves. The hours stretched like the shadows of twilight, and no customer saw his food in his hand. When the moment finally came when I could turn to the coveted burgers, oh what a disappointment! The beef lambs were cold, lacking freshness. The warm embers of the barbecue fire seemed to have failed to achieve their magic. The taste was weak and dull, like the frost on the stalk of the field. Oh, Burger King, you master of cuts of meat and breadcrumbs, how could you do such harm to me, the hungry traveler? I asked only for a meal that would strengthen me, but all I found was bile and disappointment. So be a lesson and a warning to you, Burger King: Do not let your path of quick preparation fade away in the fog of boredom, and beware of the coldness of mealtime fate!

Somehow many of the ingredients don't seem entirely fresh. We waited 15 minutes for the burgers. My daughter's personalized wrap was still wrong, but was replaced.

I recently visited and I have to say I was impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately I had a little mishap - my cola fell over. But before I could even look around, the staff immediately took care of it. They cleaned everything up quickly and professionally and were extremely friendly. It is rare to find such commitment and such a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the great service! I'd love to come back!

Nothing going on, still a 15 minute wait

A case for the health department! We ate there more often because we always said to ourselves, "Oh, there's a hair in the fries, that could happen." "Oh, the order wasn't complete again, the poor people had a lot to do, that could happen." "Oh, the burger they sold me is probably a few hours old because it tastes totally dry and just not fresh." Ok, whatever. But the last time I opened a Long Chicken and a mosquito flew towards me, no thanks! NEVER AGAIN BURGER KING. And especially not the one in Solingen! The employees weren't exactly friendly and accommodating either, they were rather hectic and, well, on and on and then 100 mistakes in the order or things were forgotten. Doesn't work at all. They don't even deserve 1 star!

Today I waited at the drive in for 20 minutes and when I asked if "a moment" lasted exactly as long as the person in front of me, I said: it could be. Then I drove through.

One of the worst Burger King's I've ever been to. Incompetence is pretty big here with a simple order of 3 parts (burger/shake and mac and cheese) making 2 mistakes. Then of course go to the checkout pretty quickly and complain. THE 2nd time you complain, the customer is taken for a fool. Burger almost ice cold and not tasty. There's no way I'm going back here.

Been there again after 15 years and was very disappointed. The patties on all burgers were only half the size of the bun (if at all) and the overall topping was only spread out in a small area in the middle. The fries tasted like the fat hadn't been changed since 2023. Service didn't do anything and was unfriendly. The dining area and the toilets were dirty. The food itself, tasteless and dry. Even the bags of mayo tasted like bad salad cream. Never again. Just under 40€ tuition fee paid.

Rating of the Burger King in Solingen: A disappointment across the board I'm sorry to say that my visit to Burger King in Solingen was an extremely disappointing experience. From the start, the experience was marked by a multitude of problems that I would not have expected in a restaurant of this size and reputation. First of all, despite the almost empty location, I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my order. During this time, employees seemed more concerned with chatting and laughing with their colleagues rather than processing orders quickly. When my food finally came, the burgers were completely cold except for the fries. Not even lukewarm – they were really cold. The bacon that I paid extra for was particularly annoying. Instead of a juicy strip, I got a small, cold and chewy shred. The burgers themselves were literally soaked in liquid fat, which is not only disgusting but also unhealthy. The hygiene also left something to be desired. It wasn't just one table that was dirty - all the tables were sticky and dirty. There were trays of rubbish everywhere, which were consistently ignored by the staff. The restaurant floor was a mess of dirt, food, and used napkins. Even the pill carts were overcrowded and ignored by the employees. The situation became even stranger when I noticed that a guest had brought his dog into the restaurant. I understand animal-friendly policies, but that doesn't fit a place that serves food, and it was the first time I'd seen something like that at a Burger King. What concerned me most was an incident where another guest apparently had a complaint about their food. He eventually got a new burger, suggesting that such problems were not new and that the staff had already faced complaints. The entire experience meant that after my visit to the Burger King in Solingen, I went home not only with a bad feeling, but also with a stomach ache. Unfortunately, this experience was not an isolated incident, and due to these serious deficiencies, I have decided to avoid this Burger King location in the future. Update: It's been about ten months since my last visit to Burger King, and I wanted to take the opportunity to give the branch a try again. This time I was there again at lunchtime, and I'm pleased to report that the positive impressions I had recently were confirmed. The branch was again clean and tidy, the staff friendly and attentive. What is particularly noteworthy is that the food was again served hot and fresh - a clear difference from my first review over a year ago. It seems like Burger King has continued to work on quality and service. My positive experiences so far don't seem to be exceptions, but rather show a real improvement in everyday life at the branch. The consistency of good service and food quality at different times of the day is pleasing and I will definitely continue to visit regularly to ensure this positive standard is maintained. For me, this branch remains a clear recommendation.

Very friendly, funny people, and the food is prepared quickly. I found that the Big King XXL has a bit less cheese compared to in the Netherlands.

I think it's very good that BK offers so many vegetarian options. The vegetarian dishes all taste very good too. 1 star deducted because sometimes you have to wait a really long time, but that's justifiable and understandable if you come at peak times

My old review is probably gone - ok. Back then it was catastrophic in this Burger King. Then yesterday evening around 8:30 p.m. the surprise. A nice employee, boss in the store, the best whopper I've ever had, food hot, no one who sends me on at the window because the time is running out, the employee is in a good mood, speaks good German, sings even when he's not talking to us and even apologizes when he forgets my extra salt. Guys, keep it up! So I'll come back and so will many others.

If you go to the checkout with 'Brother, can you...' while others are waiting for your order, you will definitely be given priority. Others wait 30 minutes for 4 simple burgers. Apparently it's common practice there not to treat every customer the same. Waiting time is underground, customer contact is terrible, something like a 'Hello' is apparently too much for the employees. Reorganize the employees and also revamp the ordering concept so that everything runs as it should.
