Burger King in Solingen

One of the worst Burger King's I've ever been to. Incompetence is pretty big here with a simple order of 3 parts (burger/shake and mac and cheese) making 2 mistakes. Then of course go to the checkout pretty quickly and complain. THE 2nd time you complain, the customer is taken for a fool. Burger almost ice cold and not tasty. There's no way I'm going back here.

Been there again after 15 years and was very disappointed. The patties on all burgers were only half the size of the bun (if at all) and the overall topping was only spread out in a small area in the middle. The fries tasted like the fat hadn't been changed since 2023. Service didn't do anything and was unfriendly. The dining area and the toilets were dirty. The food itself, tasteless and dry. Even the bags of mayo tasted like bad salad cream. Never again. Just under 40€ tuition fee paid.

I was there to buy something that was advertised and I was told we didn't have it. Unfortunately the service is also very slow

I ate in this restaurant with a friend today and the employee, Mr. Nabil, was extremely helpful and gave us remarkably good advice. So good that it's my first time writing a review at a fast food restaurant. Thank you! Otherwise I'm not a big fast food fan and the food is what it is.

Rating of the Burger King in Solingen: A disappointment across the board I'm sorry to say that my visit to Burger King in Solingen was an extremely disappointing experience. From the start, the experience was marked by a multitude of problems that I would not have expected in a restaurant of this size and reputation. First of all, despite the almost empty location, I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my order. During this time, employees seemed more concerned with chatting and laughing with their colleagues rather than processing orders quickly. When my food finally came, the burgers were completely cold except for the fries. Not even lukewarm – they were really cold. The bacon that I paid extra for was particularly annoying. Instead of a juicy strip, I got a small, cold and chewy shred. The burgers themselves were literally soaked in liquid fat, which is not only disgusting but also unhealthy. The hygiene also left something to be desired. It wasn't just one table that was dirty - all the tables were sticky and dirty. There were trays of rubbish everywhere, which were consistently ignored by the staff. The restaurant floor was a mess of dirt, food, and used napkins. Even the pill carts were overcrowded and ignored by the employees. The situation became even stranger when I noticed that a guest had brought his dog into the restaurant. I understand animal-friendly policies, but that doesn't fit a place that serves food, and it was the first time I'd seen something like that at a Burger King. What concerned me most was an incident where another guest apparently had a complaint about their food. He eventually got a new burger, suggesting that such problems were not new and that the staff had already faced complaints. The entire experience meant that after my visit to the Burger King in Solingen, I went home not only with a bad feeling, but also with a stomach ache. Unfortunately, this experience was not an isolated incident, and due to these serious deficiencies, I have decided to avoid this Burger King location in the future. Update: It's been about ten months since my last visit to Burger King, and I wanted to take the opportunity to give the branch a try again. This time I was there again at lunchtime, and I'm pleased to report that the positive impressions I had recently were confirmed. The branch was again clean and tidy, the staff friendly and attentive. What is particularly noteworthy is that the food was again served hot and fresh - a clear difference from my first review over a year ago. It seems like Burger King has continued to work on quality and service. My positive experiences so far don't seem to be exceptions, but rather show a real improvement in everyday life at the branch. The consistency of good service and food quality at different times of the day is pleasing and I will definitely continue to visit regularly to ensure this positive standard is maintained. For me, this branch remains a clear recommendation.

Very friendly, funny people, and the food is prepared quickly. I found that the Big King XXL has a bit less cheese compared to in the Netherlands.

I think it's very good that BK offers so many vegetarian options. The vegetarian dishes all taste very good too. 1 star deducted because sometimes you have to wait a really long time, but that's justifiable and understandable if you come at peak times

Despite the manageable number of customers, we had to wait a full 20 minutes for burgers today... Our order kept being pushed back from position one.

My old review is probably gone - ok. Back then it was catastrophic in this Burger King. Then yesterday evening around 8:30 p.m. the surprise. A nice employee, boss in the store, the best whopper I've ever had, food hot, no one who sends me on at the window because the time is running out, the employee is in a good mood, speaks good German, sings even when he's not talking to us and even apologizes when he forgets my extra salt. Guys, keep it up! So I'll come back and so will many others.

The third time I give them a chance and all 3 times I find that something is missing from the order. Either sauce or burger. The tables are dirty. Unpleasant. Not another foot.

If you go to the checkout with 'Brother, can you...' while others are waiting for your order, you will definitely be given priority. Others wait 30 minutes for 4 simple burgers. Apparently it's common practice there not to treat every customer the same. Waiting time is underground, customer contact is terrible, something like a 'Hello' is apparently too much for the employees. Reorganize the employees and also revamp the ordering concept so that everything runs as it should.

It's not even possible to get 4 burgers right, plus having to wait 40 minutes and trying to sum it all up with a shake 🤦🏽‍♂️ The crowning achievement... after the waiting time, you still have to wait because you have to wait through a truck that delivers so intelligently is, can't even drive out. Absolutely a disaster

I don't know of any other Burger King that serves fresh, hot burgers so quickly and deliciously. The place was very clean, I have absolutely nothing to complain about (and I'm very surprised about it myself)

You can save yourself the reviews about the freshness of the products - the other reviews speak volumes. From February 2022 to March 2024, the story remains the same: forgotten components, inedible burgers and employees, criticism of the circumstances and their own incompetence is ignored. The hygiene in the store also leaves something to be desired - another reason to avoid this place.

It's just ridiculous. The employees close the shop earlier every evening. In addition, the milkshake machine breaks down every evening so you can't order milkshakes. The next day, strangely enough, it works again every time. I've already complained to Burgerking. Nothing happened. Furthermore, some employees apparently do not understand German, even after repeating it several times. This was the third time that I stood in front of a closed door with a mob of people who were all also waiting and a little taken aback. From now on, I'll never take a detour to the competition again because at least the order will be complete afterwards and you'll be understood. Truly the most anti-social Burger King store I have ever visited. Burgerking could have saved themselves having to open a store in Solingen if they had run it down like that.!!!

Far too expensive now. Prices have almost doubled. It's easier to get something to eat from a Greek restaurant, it's cheaper and you stay full longer

According to the opening times, it is open until 00:30 a.m., I was inside at 00:03 and wanted to place a plant-based order via the terminal, at that moment an employee arrived and told me that the order was no longer possible, only what had not been sold and up The warming plate stand was offered to me, first he listed beef burgers for me, then when I said I wanted something from Plantbased he said that would work too, came across as if he just wanted to change the packaging.

Bad customer service! The opening hours are supposedly until 12:30 in the evening. I wanted to get something to eat at 11:50 p.m. I was told that I could no longer order anything from the menu, but could only choose something from what was on the warming plate. So I left hungry. You can only give one star for that.

Nach dem Food Relaunch ist der King vor allem in seinen vegetarischen Produkten deutlich besser geworden! Netter Service, faire Preise, alles gut!!

Vegane Menüs waren sehr gut. Es war ein sauberer Ort.

Leider dauert es immer länger, bis man das Essen hat. Gestiegene Preise auf Restaurant Niveau und langsam... Das ist kein Schnellimbiss mehr.

Wir haben im Drive In über 30 Minuten gestanden und das für ein Fast Food Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter verstehen gefühlt nichts was man sagt. Dann kommt das Essen und es ist schon kalt.

Toilette dreckig, kein Toilettenpapier, Tische verdreckt. Service mit schlechtem Deutsch. Unfreundlich. Also ... da kenne ich bessere Burger Kings.

Es geht nicht das man teilweise 30 Minuten auf sein Essen wartet. Das hat dann nix mehr mit Fastfood zu tun.

Ich war ehrlich gesagt nur zufällig dort essen. Vom Ambiente und Einrichtung her möglicherweise der beste Burger King in DE.(zu mindest den ich bisher gesehen habe). Parkmöglichkeiten waren ausreichen und es war sehr ruhig. Kann aber auch sein, dass es innerhalb der Woche war. Bedienung war an sich nett. Als wir jedoch einen Coupon einlösen wollten, wollte der Mitarbeiter den Coupon auf der App sehen (wir hatten bur die nummer genannt). Ls wir die App aber vorgezeigt hatten, wurde der qr code nicht abgescanned. (Es diente wohl eher zur Kontrolle. Bis hierhin eig voll ok. Ich fand das ganze nur nicht so Kundenfreundlich.

Viel zu lange Wartezeiten!!! Dann noch nicht die vollständige Bestellung gepackt...... Schade

Ideal für einen kleinen Hunger zwischendurch. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und Bestellabwicklung verläuft zügig. Preislich der Konkurrenz überlegen. Bisher habe ich keinerlei Schwierigkeiten mit meinen Bestellungen oder den Mitarbeitern gehabt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Gelegentlich können die Wartezeiten etwas lang ausfallen. (Nutze nur den Drive-In)

Partie un dimanche soir beaucoup d' attente

Das essen war warm und frisch zubereitet. Das Personal leider nicht so freundlich eher muffig und gelangweilt aber das ist mittlerweile überall so. Wäre schön wenn man in so teuren Zeiten seine Kunden etwas mehr wertschätzt. Ansonsten alles ok.

Die Kinder sind zu Frieden geblieben.

Sitio de comida rápida. Cumple con su objetivo. Llegas ordeñas y comes en unos minutos. En general considero que la hamburguesa de este local es más rica que su competencia directa. Pero no sé por qué tiendo a ir más a la otra cadena. Ya sabes lo que esperas, no es un restaurante de estrellas Michelín. En mi experiencia siempre ha estado limpio. Particularmente no me gusta para nada el helado.

Ich war mit zwei Kindern da, alles super gemacht und toll serviert. Nur...... Jeder hatte so einWopper-Menü bestellt und bekommen. Das mach ich nicht nochmal, das ist zuviel. Heute Nuggets: trocken und nicht gut. Schade

Besser als McDonald's Update 22.5.2023 Leider ist auch hier die Unsitte eingekehrt der unpersönlich Bestellung über einen Touchscreen. Ich will einfach nur sagen, was ich möchte und mich nicht durch mehrere Menues durchhangeln müssen! Wieder ein Restaurant, dass mich nie wieder sehen wird!

Dies ist die zweite Berichterstattung. Ich muss, nach dem Umbau dieser Filiale anerkennen, dass es tatsächlich besser geworden ist. Essen ist gut. Service ist auch gut.

Ужасное место, избегайте как огня, не ходите сюда. Грязно, на столах брошенная предыдущими посетителями еда. В заказ не доложили бургер, потом делали вид, что так и должно быть. Положили на двоих одну (!!!) салфетку, вы только представьте. Больше сюда ни ногой. К качеству самого junk-food претензий нет, что ищешь, то и получаешь.

Als je de naam Burger King hoort heb je bepaalde verwachtingen inzake de burgers. Hier krijg je top burgers zoals ze moeten zijn. Keurige zaak met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Gewoon goed.
