Burger King in Solingen

Long wait, food cold... Waited 15 minutes for a cheeseburger, even though it was empty. The cheeseburger was so cold the cheese wasn't even melted. Disgusting, never again.

We ordered today at 7:30 p.m., and Lieferando said it would take about 20-40 minutes. It's now after 9 p.m. and we still don't have the food, and there's no information about where it is. No one is available, and when it does arrive, the only question is whether it's warm. This is the first and last time we've ordered from there.

I ordered Burger King from Lieferando for the first time. The delivery took 1:50 minutes instead of the advertised 30-40 minutes. My criticisms are that this delay isn't passed on to Lieferando; that Burger King Ohligser Heide isn't reachable by phone—the call isn't even established—and that you can't cancel the order.

We ordered through Lieferando. It took 1 hour and 50 minutes for the food to arrive. They couldn't be reached by phone. The food itself was good. That's why it gets one star.

Because of the relatively good reviews for a Burger King branch, I stopped here for a quick bite. What can I say? It was worth enduring my hunger a little longer than necessary because the food was truly exceptionally well prepared. The burgers were warm and seemed fresh. Above all, the fries were excellent. Perfectly salted, crispy, and hot. It could have been luck, but the reviews suggest this happens regularly. The tables were mostly clean, and the ambiance was typical of a rest stop. Considering the number of other orders, my food was ready quickly.

Understaffed, only two employees, and they have to be careful not to fall asleep as slowly as they work. I'll have to wait a good 15 or 20 minutes for my food...

What you would expect from a Burger King - the food was okay and the store was very clean.

You get what you expect, super expensive as in over 10€ just for a double whopper burger. Okay staff and the waiting time wasn’t too long.

The pricing honestly left me speechless—I would have expected significantly less for this quality. A real outrage.

Ok. A comfort place, restaurant with good comfort food. Normal menu as other Burger King rrstaurant. Familiar taste so it is good. No suprises.

Never had to wait so long for coffee and ice cream. It's faster at McDonald's...

You may have to wait in line for the toilet during busy times.

I treated myself to this stopover on a long journey. Delicious as always.

Waiting time: half an hour and still nothing. I do not recommend it.

This place can't get anything done. The kiosk is constantly out of service—long lines because they're operating with minimal staff even at lunchtime. And then at 1:00 PM, they don't have the extra-long patties or the plant-based patties. I feel like I've been ripped off. And no—I've tried here several times. This is my fifth and very last attempt.

The food just taste bad. Fries were way too salty and the chicken hot honey was very sloppy and contained more sauce then chicken. It looked like someone murdered the chicken on the sandwich. Ended up buying a sandwich next door. The seats are relaxing so not everything was negative.

Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. I only came here for coffee, but since the coffee machine was broken, they couldn't offer me a hot drink.

We were passing through. It was OK. Clean. It worked.

The food was fine. But we had to wait in line for over half an hour before we got our food. It was chaos in the kitchen. A year later, we stumbled upon it again. Luckily, at a quiet time of day. But the service was still very slow.

Had half a field on my burger. Everything was delicious, plant-based better than the usual non-vegan.

We are from USA where BK has grave difficulty presenting hot food to their customers, totally unreal that the same issue lies in Germany as well…what the heck does BK do that seemingly no matter the location their food doesn’t get past Luke warm, absolutely just disgusting, advise people to stay away

I was able to enjoy the well-known offer in a pleasant atmosphere here - a relaxing break on the journey!

Well, waiting 12 minutes without anyone being ahead of me... I've had better experiences... and the three orders that came after me while I was waiting weren't really the reason for the long wait.

The staff works quickly and keeps the waiting time to a minimum. I think it's even above the King's standard. The nuggets were wonderfully crispy, but the burgers were unusually dry. Even though the paddies are the same everywhere, they seem thinner here... Overall good but unfortunately also very expensive.

I've been to a few Burger King locations, but this one was one of the best overall. The burgers and fries were hot and flavorful. The location is very clean and modern.

You know what you get and that's a great burger. But you can't call it high-quality service and atmosphere. The price is also really ridiculous for what you get.

Really a disgrace! There was hardly anything going on, I just ordered a normal standard menu and waited over 20 minutes. Of course the food was cold. And it's also nice when you continue driving and only realize on the way that you didn't pack a straw...

The rating is relative to a fast food restaurant in a truck stop. Sufficiently comfortable seating, digital ordering and contactless payment possible, the food was prepared quickly and the service was very nice.

Didn't expect to find the cleanest Burger King at a rest stop. Clean tables, comfortable chairs. Seating areas beautifully and modernly designed. Surprise 😀! Order was also processed quickly and staff was friendly. The only negative point was the bacon on the burger. It was definitely too thick and not crispy either. It tasted like cardboard with a bit of a fatty flavor! You can only get rid of it from your burger! You don't have to spend any money for this. There is an urgent need for improvement here.

At rush hour at 5 p.m., a single employee had to serve the burgers, collect the cash and work in the kitchen. This not only takes forever, but is an insult to his employees. The burgers themselves have gotten worse: the "burger patty" is just mushy meat mush with far too much mayonnaise. Fries oily and greasy and far too little. And it's easily 30% more expensive than 2 years ago.

For a fast food chain, the preparation of the food or the “handover” of it takes quite a long time - but that doesn't just apply to this BK restaurant. Therefore not all dishes are still warm. But clean and nice, friendly staff!

The burger was really good, not just for a rest stop but for a Burge King branch in general. The team was very experienced and fast. The service at the counter was friendly and also very tidy and quick. Contrary to all expectations, I was extremely positively surprised!

Fulfilling orders at a terminal just isn't something I find joy in. The whopper was ok, but nothing more.

I like to go to BK, but I'll never eat anything here again. Chili Cheese Fries: A single stuck together pile of cold fries and dried cheese sauce, Flame Wings: Fried to death. And instead of a regular Coke I got Coke Zero. As I said: NEVER HERE AGAIN!!!

This Burger King location invites you to linger if you want to escape the stress of everyday life for a bit. You can have a relaxed chat or watch the cars speed past on the motorway. Here the “fast” is taken from the word “fast food” 😁 If you're in a hurry and just want a snack, you've come to the wrong place.

Good experience! We sat outside in nice weather. The atmosphere inside seems a bit less to me. A drunken guest on the terrace was helped a door further by the staff. That also says something!

On the highway you should drive past there and take the next exit. Bad service, the composition of the burger was horrible and very unfriendly

Friendly and good-humored employees

How can you just collect, pack and be served in the evening alone? The person isn't even sure what it all is. The other employees only come to the front to make themselves something to drink or to take the burgers to the back too. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with a fast food restaurant if you are just under 20-30 minutes away. have to wait. Of course the food is cold.
