Burger King in Karlsruhe

I ordered a large fries with sauce to go and paid over €4 for them. I received a measly portion, definitely less than 100g, and the sauce was missing. Thanks, but never again. This is simply a disgrace. The place is very dirty, especially outside; no one even wipes down the tables/benches. Under the table are the remains of a dead pigeon.

Very poor service and unfriendly staff. They don't listen carefully to your order and end up telling you you ordered something else. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The place used to be a lot better. Today, you order nine nuggets and get six. Today, you order a burger, but you only get soggy stuff; the meat or the veggie patties aren't cooked through. They're slightly pink in the middle. This morning, I felt like I had several perforated stomachs. What a shame, really.

I liked that you can quickly place an order in the machines, there is a translation into Russian, for convenience. We waited for the order for up to 5 minutes. The food is warm. The portions are small. The tables in the room were clean, also the employee came out from behind the counter and swept under the vacated table. In principle, I am satisfied.

It's been much better since the renovation. You expect Burger King and you get Burger King, but it's not the fastest branch.

Had a Bürger that looked sooooo disgusting when I unpacked it, I'm ashamed that I even took a bite

Truly unbelievable. It took four people 20 minutes to prepare my food, which was then almost cold. The Coke wasn't sparkling enough. No gloves were worn. Never again.

It took 15 minutes to get my order. I understand that sometimes it can take time to prepare, as I’ve worked in a fast food chain myself during my student days. However, one particular older lady was very rude when I asked about a missing sauce. The burger itself was nice and warm, but the curly fries were as stale as cardboard. The place was clean and quiet, and the rest of the staff were polite.

The burgers were smashed. The fries were cold. The service was OK. The atmosphere was terrible. The loud music here is not for children; it's mostly full of swear words.

What a nice place - not! If you have to put up signs everywhere (at the outside dining area, toilet et .) you can think about what customers they are attracting. And it‘s just like that. Just look at the names of the other reviews. During my 20 min. waiting period (for 1 menu) there was a homeless man who couldn‘t stay in one place, always came near me and there isn‘t too much place to wait. He finally left but his smell stayed *ugh* That wasn‘t the first of my experiences here. I won‘t come here anymore.

I got a meat burger instead of the vegan one and when I brought it back they didn't apologize or anything.

Since they added the ordering machines, the ordering is better. I never had messed up order, but I think the waiting time is terrible. 10 minutes minimum, but often it goes to 15-25, even outside of the peak time. And I always see the employees in chaos. Lastly, the employees are not really friendly. They will not say hello or respond to yours, no reaction when you thank them. Just slap your food on the counter and you can go.

It's a shame that you can't order extra cheese on the small chilli cheese burger, unfortunately, but otherwise it's ready quickly and tasty as it should 👌otherwise 5 stars if I get extra sauce on the small burger, 0.50€ more is ok from me 😅✌️the terminals are great for ordering. Actually quite ok, but if I ordered 2x 0.4l cola I would also like 0.4 each - without ice. Update April 26, 2025: Picture of 0.5 cup. The waitress refused to fill it up to the calibration mark because it was already exactly 0.5l. Well, see for yourself.

You can get really great food at Burger King. I've been there a few times. You can collect crowns in the Burger King app. What I think is great: You can also earn Payback points there. The food is good quality and tastes good.

Preparation takes a lot longer here compared to the Burger King on Durmersheimer Straße. The tables are all messy, and no one cleans. The trolley is overflowing with tablets, and there's no room to put anything down.

I can only agree with the negative reviews. I had the same problem, ordered at 8:30 p.m. via Lieferando. Nothing happens 10:00 p.m. I call the BK Karlsruhe Kaiserstr on the recommendation of Lieferando. The result of 3 calls: a totally annoyed lady answers the phone with an Indian accent. I explain my situation to her, she rudely interrupts me and says no order here, no order received, problems from Lieferando, it would be completely normal at this time that there would be no drivers available. I explain to her again that I ordered at 8:30 p.m. not just 10 minutes ago... I can't get to the end again, she interrupts me again and asks if I don't understand you and she doesn't have time for it, it's Lieferando's problem and insults/curses me in a language I don't know. I told her clearly that I understood you better than she probably did and that I would like to speak to management or a superior. The answer is again a stupid answer and the lady hangs up on me coldly. Now everyone can explain to themselves what else is available at this time: nothing! I will never donate just one cent to this club again! This lady needs a supervisor to retrain her in dealing with customers very urgently, what a shame!

How bad can service simply be??? We ordered from Lieferando. The order has been accepted by the STORE. (I work in the catering industry myself and know that orders always MUST be physically accepted!!!) After nothing happened on the Lieferando app, we decided to call the store. An incredibly unfriendly lady finally answered the phone after 10 minutes and 4 call attempts. She said she didn't get an order. (again to understand, as said above, an order MUST be physically accepted. The lady's answer was I have to call lieferando because I don't have an order. Another 20 minutes later our order was canceled. (This is only possible as a store if you contact lieferando by phone)... Thank you BurgerKing Marktplatz Karlsruhe for the wonderful service. Recommendation, never order via Lieferand there... Disaster, just incompetent and unfriendly employees there.

We ordered two average menus. We paid at 15:46 and took the order around 16:10. There were people like everywhere else. There wasn't a full house. We started to eat, the food was barely warm.

You can hardly put it into words. Unfriendly. The manager who was assigned the late shift on August 19, 2024 clearly did not deserve her job. Incredibly unfriendly. When we came in we politely asked if we could use the toilet. The nice employee granted us this. The manager with long black hair discussed with my friends that they weren't allowed to use the toilet and that we had to buy something. All well and good, but what topped it all was that the woman was watching us. Just cheeky. We would have bought something either way... At the end when I discussed it with her, she said: "Only one of us is allowed to use the toilet." However, only one of us used it and a small queue had formed outside. I have also worked at Burger King and so far this is the worst service I have ever experienced. In addition, there was only 70g of soft ice cream and not 130g as is usually the case. Before the renovation, the atmosphere was relatively old-fashioned, the service was really slow, but the food was very fresh and good. Since the renovation, the ambience has been fantastic, radiates with fresh energy and conveys an incredibly well-kept and modern flair. The service has become faster thanks to the touch displays and the food is still fresh, crunchy and delicious!

In the last 4 or more orders, something was always missing, but was calculated and paid for by us! Yesterday we were missing from the kids box as always!!! the drink, the fruit squeezer and the toy - also, instead of the Steakhouse Bf dbl that we ordered, calculated and paid for, a different burger was simply delivered. Incidentally, all the burgers and fries that were delivered were cold! The delivery time was almost exactly 1.5 hours from the time the order was placed at 7:28 p.m. and it arrived at 8:57 p.m. - the delivery distance is between 4.1 km and 4.9 km. Not recommended! Update, 07/25/24: Ordered 2 menus for 2 adults, in one menu the zero drink for a diabetic was simply exchanged for a sugary one and delivered. Furthermore, the fries were dark, hard and as cold as the burgers - not even lukewarm.

I ordered a double cheeseburger and what could a cheeseburger not be double with small fries (I had ordered large) and the cola was 0.4 but was actually 0.5. I then spent €12.79 for it even though that would be complete 7:69 wrong and when I said that they didn't want to give me anything new or anything so very bad!!! I would recommend any dish from Mc'Donalds!!!

After lunch at this Burger King branch yesterday, my wife and I had bad stomach cramps and diarrhea. We hadn't had breakfast beforehand that day nor were we able to eat anything else afterwards. About six hours after the meal the suffering began and lasted all night. We're feeling better today, but our stomachs haven't fully recovered yet. Basically, I think Burger King is okay, but I will definitely never eat anything in this branch again. We each had a Big King, a Crispy Chicken portion of French Fry's and a Coca Cola with ice cream.

The fries were really hard and you could tell they weren't fresh

I've eaten at Burger King every day for the last 3 days. Every time everything went great. The food was prepared quickly after ordering. I have ordered Plant Based every time and received Plant Based every time. I always canceled something from my burgers or added an extra request. This was always taken into account, with one exception: a salad was canceled but it was on it, but you can easily cancel it so no problem! The food was always hot. Once a burger took a little longer and it was brought to my table after about 2-3 minutes. On average I had to wait about 6 minutes for my food, which I think is completely understandable. The staff was friendly every time!

Since the renovation and the finally (!!) introduction of ordering terminals, things have become significantly better and faster However, the bell that rings when orders are completed is far too loud and annoying, and the fact that, unlike McDonald's, there is no table service, this reduces the visit.

The Chinese woman at the checkout is super nice but only an employee like me understood the following situation... I get food and the lid falls off the cup...which I got ketchup twice or I probably didn't want it and then I ask very politely because I'm on a trip to the Okey if I charge my cell phone and had the charger with me (on There were 2 empty sockets at the switch) the Chinese woman asked the Indian woman and she said NO, I ordered from them for €30 and I can't charge my cell phone for 10-15 minutes, I even offered money on top because I was on mine I told her to go to the bathroom with my cell phone 🤦🏻‍♂️ There wasn't a power outlet in the bathroom either, so I'm assuming she meant the train station... I didn't have much expectations, but the service from the lady was really just embarrassing... no A nice answer would have been enough and if you are dissatisfied with your job, a change is definitely worth considering!!!

The Burger King at Europaplatz is a great location to eat burgers. Unfortunately, the store is quite small and often crowded, which limits seating options. A larger Burger King would definitely be desirable. The food itself is typical Burger King fare, but there is now also a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, such as the plant-based burgers. I recently tried the Double Big King with two of these vegan patties and found them delicious. They weren't as heavy on the stomach as meat burgers. Overall, a clear recommendation for Burger King fans.

Burger king is probably the best value fast food out there, the food is always good, the only problem is the staff doesn't scan the coupons and sometimes they forget to add the price reduction. The atmosphere is pretty dead, almost no one eats inside due to it being pretty boring and bland, the place might do well from some redecorating and maybe bathroom extension, a good fast food that's busy should have more than one toilet.

Essen ist gut aber Mitarbeiter sind teilweise etwas gelangweilt und unfreundlich… Aber was will man auch erwarten bei einer Fastfood-Kette wie Burgerking. Im Großen und Ganzen ein normaler Burgerking, nicht besonders modern aber erfüllt seinen Job

Eigentlich gehe ich gerne zu burgerking, leider muss man hier immer ewig warten und sie haben keine bestellterminals. Die Mitarbeiter wirken extrem gelangweilt und stehen teilweise in der küche rum statt die bestellungen aufzunehmen.

Zu BK selbst braucht man nichts zu sagen. Die Filiale ist klein aber ordentlich im Durchsatz, deswegen sollte man schon wissen was man essen möchte, wenn man an die Kasse kommt, besonders wenn die Schlange bis zur Tür reicht. Die wenigen Leute machen einen echten Knochenjob, bemühen sich, jedem Gast Essen zu geben, das vernünftig aussieht und schmeckt und sind deswegen froh über jedes nette Wort und jede zügige Bestellung - dann sieht man dort ein echtes, ehrliches Lächeln.

Fastfood auf das man 15 Minuten warten muss ist leider kein Fastfood.

Unter allen Fast Food Ketten ist Burger King mein Favorit.

Sehr lange warte Zeit, Essen schenket überhaupt nicht gut und alle Tische waren sehr schmutzig

Besuch Donnertags ab 18h: keine Warteschlange, normale Wartezeit, normaler zuvorkommender Service. Ambiente: sehr klein, sehr billig eingerichtet, sehr laut. Hygiene: Schmierspuren vom Wischlappen auf dem Tisch, bisschen eklig. Man sollte feuchte Hygienetücher dabei haben.. Bestellt hatte ich Double Cheese Burger auf pflanzlicher Basis mit Fritten, mein Erstversuch der veganen Rindersatz-Patties von BK. Zuerst: die Fritten waren frisch, knusprig, heiss, richtig gesalzen, absolut ok. Den Double Cheeseburger hatte ich anschließend nach Hause mitgenommen und ausgepackt: in der halben Stunde hatten die Patties so viel Wasser abgegeben, dass die Bunhälften sehr matschig wurden, sehr unansehnlich und 'ungenießbar'. Nachdem ich ihn in Einzelteile zerlegt hatte, die Bunhälften incl. den armseligen zwei Gurkenscheibchen verputzt hatte, hab ich mir später einen saftigen Royal TS davon gemacht, incl. Pfannenei & besser gewürzt & bessren Soßen. Kurz und gut, die Fleisch Patties sind von Geschmack und Biss absolut in Ordnung, verlieren aber in kurzer Zeit so viel Wasser, das hier dringend die Rezeptur geändert werden sollte. Nur zum sofortigen Verzehr geeignet.

Schmeckt Brot wie immer bisl Bruzel aber wenig besser weniger und naja das Fleisch könnte Fetter sein Schmatz Lecker aberJeckt es selbst hau rein und eine gute Nacht!!!

Es ist ein FastFood Restaurant. Wer es eilig hat und nicht unbedingt viel Geld ausgeben will, ist natürlich hier gut bedient. Große Auswahl, aber der Burger King am Europaplatz ist definitiv sauberer und angenehmer vom Ambiente.

Man kann über Burger King und fast food allgemein denken was man will. Der Laden hier macht aber immer stabile cheeseburger und die Pommes sind geisteskrank gut. Mehr brauchts nicht. Personal juckt doch eh keinen will da ja keine Freundschaften schließen !?

Naja, langt wieder für lange Zeit!

Essen immer gut und frisch. Allerdings sollte man genügend Zeit mitbringen. Egal wie voll es ist, nur eine Kasse geöffnet so dass es meist schon 15-20 Minuten dauert bis man seine Bestellung aufgeben kann und dann nochmal 10 Minuten bis man sie bekommt. Wenn die Schlange wieder bis zur Eingangstüre oder bis draußen reicht ist Weiterlaufen angesagt. Und uncool wenn Öffnungszeiten täglich ab 11:00 an der Türe stehen und man Sonntags um 11:30 vor der verschlossenen Türe steht.

Le hall où on passe les commandes est petit, on se marche littéralement dessus! On a commandé un sandwich qu'on ne trouve pas en France. Il était horrible. Sauce sucrée 🥲. Par contre allez y sur les potatoes(oui le burger king en fait au Portugal !) Ils ne servent pas dans les plateaux pour du sur place...c'est surprenant 😅.

Erstens: Die Warteschlange hat mir mehr als 30m gewartet und die schwarze Haare Kassiererin war so bisschen unhöflich. Warum gibt es keine 2 Kassiererin? Damit die Warteschlange nicht so lange dauern. Außerdem fand ich das Essen 5!

It is a great restraunt but it is a bit closterphobic

Die Burger sind lecker, die Pommes knusprig und heiß und im allgemeinen stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. ABER ACHTUNG Ich will auf eine Sache hinweisen... Ich persönlich bin nicht oft bei solchen Fast-Food Ketten, habe deswegen einen Fehler begangen... Es gibt Menüs wie z.b das Big-King Menü. Dieses verspricht einem IN DER APP: 2x Big King Burger, ein Getränk, eine Portion Pommes und ein Getränk für ca. 10€. Wenn man sich aber an die Kasse stellt und ein Big King Menü bestellt bekommt man nur: EINEN Big King Burger, ein Getränk, usw. Von einem Burger wird man aber nicht satt, aber hat trotzdem 10€ bezahlt. Damit will ich einfach nochmal errinern das man nicht vergessen sollte das Menü in der App zu zeigen und "das Big King Menü aus der App" zu bestellen. Ich hoffe das hilft euch weiter.
