Burger King in Leipzig

Maybe they shouldn't skimp so much on personnel costs that there's only one employee working at lunchtime, forcing people to wait half an hour for their food! I don't want to blame the employee at all, because she's probably the least to blame and was working really quickly, BUT how can it be that there's only one person working during peak hours?!

At least one Burger King where I didn't have to return anything. Everything was fresh.

The food was delicious, everything tasted great, although the hot sauces were a bit too much in the end, but I think that varies from person to person.

Tonight, I was the only one waiting patiently at the drive-thru counter, but even after 10 minutes, no one felt responsible enough to tell us how long it would be, or that we should order inside, or anything else. Whatever, you can at least inform customers. And if it's too busy inside to also serve the drive-thru, you can turn off the lights and screens at the drive-thru so customers know what's going on and aren't waiting there pointlessly without any information. In that respect, I think it's a poor service, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's okay, except for the constantly long wait times, even when ordering inside.

Burger King used to be better. Personally, I don't like the ordering machines at all. I think the food tasted much better back then, too.

No style, no recognition anymore... Service, I have no idea, there's no service anymore. 😠 The ambiance, like in any restaurant, and the quality of the food, has unfortunately declined. 😞 Neither the Golden Seagull nor the King are worth anything. I'm going back to the 90s, when even bad food still tasted good. 😩

If there are more than two customers, it always takes an extremely long time, and you'll wait at least 15 minutes for the food, sometimes even longer. That's a shame, especially when the place isn't even full.

It's really difficult for me to write this review because I've been a huge fan of Burger King for years. Normally, the "King" symbolizes good taste, fresh preparation, and fast, satisfying food. Unfortunately, that's absolutely not what I can say about this location. I've given this place a chance several times – hoping it might just have been a bad day – but each time I've been disappointed. The wait times are simply unacceptable: I sometimes had to wait up to an hour, even with a manageable number of customers. When the food finally arrives, it's poorly prepared. The bread is dry, the burgers seem bland and tasteless, and the quality in no way reflects what Burger King is all about. As much as I'm sorry, this location is doing more harm than good to the brand's reputation. Something urgently needs to change here – staff, processes, quality. If that's not possible, it would actually be better for the customers' benefit to close this location.

Today we visited Burger King. The wait was a little longer than usual, but that was because there were so many customers. We love Burger King and always enjoy coming back.

Takeaway food... I've been waiting 40 minutes for our food. It's not a big business, and I'm not the only one waiting here. A disaster. Fast food is something completely different. I'm completely overwhelmed.

Unclean store, trolleys overflowing, dirty floors. Staff are unfriendly and disrespectful to customers. Hygiene is a major problem, at least in this store. Given the competition about 300 meters away, it's worth considering whether to change the current situation.

Long wait times. Even though it's not busy, it takes a long time for the order to be ready. The clearing station is extremely busy, and when we pointed this out, they responded with a rolling of the eyes. Very unfriendly staff. Burgers are cold. I didn't really want to write anything about it at first, but when you approach the staff and are then verbally attacked, saying that you can order something else if you don't like it, I'm seriously considering doing so. Really antisocial employees were there at 9:15 p.m. with the kids and wanted to order vouchers. The one who was wearing glasses had short red hair. He claimed to be the boss there and that whatever he said would be done! He told us that only paper vouchers should be accepted! While we simply find out the number online from the Burger King app every day and tell them, he answered with an antisocial voice!! We should go somewhere else if we want the vouchers🤨. I won't employ people like that anywhere or let them take over a branch! The food was always 🔝, but not from him!

The food is ready quickly and meets all expectations of fast food. The only drawback is the truly disgusting restroom; a scent dispenser would have been more than necessary!

We were at Burger King 2 weeks ago around 3:30 p.m. While my companion ordered the food, I looked for a seat by the window. There were three tables free - but unfortunately they were all sticky and full of crumbs. There were leftover chips on the floor and it was also dirty and sticky. With every step there was a strange noise - that typical, unpleasant sticking sound. As soon as I entered, I immediately noticed that the storage carts were overcrowded - a problem that I have rarely experienced in this branch. Annoyed at being told to eat at such dirty tables, I started taking photos. When an employee noticed that I was taking a photo of the overfilled cart, she suddenly took action: She immediately took the carts away and emptied them. Later I took more photos of another table where we originally planned to sit. Here, too, my camera was noticed and a makeshift cleaning was carried out under the table with a broom, removing only three fries. The sticky table, however, was left as it was, and that didn't change in the next half hour. When my companion came with the food, he was quite angry because of the unfriendly manner of the staff. When we simply asked for a second straw, it was not handed over in a friendly manner, but rather carelessly thrown onto the food. This was a different employee than the one who had previously emptied the trolleys and made a makeshift clean of the floor. And ultimately, there's no point in renovating a Burger King if cleanliness and hygiene - which previously left something to be desired - are getting worse and worse. Even the prettiest store is of no use if you have to eat in such an unhygienic environment. An overall disappointing experience. Cleanliness and customer friendliness leave more and more to be desired here. Instead of getting better, it's getting worse.

Don't own a star! Last week I had dinner there with my sister. We waited a whopping 25 minutes for our food, which of course, as expected, was wrong. Unfortunately, the shop there is an absolute disaster and I'm surprised it's still profitable. I'm not coming back.

Absolute disaster... there's a homeless person sleeping with his shopping cart in this fairly full restaurant. The whole tent is screaming and coughing... It really makes you hungry...

This Burger King was neat, clean, and tidy. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were great deals at fair prices. Just stop by and enjoy.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my visit. My burgers were very bland in taste. I was also shocked that you have to pay 50 cents if you need to use the restroom. As a guest, I find it outrageous; if I were just using the restroom, I could understand it, but not as a customer.

The citizen was very tasty, with enough arugula and tomatoes. The staff, including the shift manager, were very friendly and nice.

Solid burger stop with small drawbacks My visit to Burger King on Merseburger Straße was generally satisfactory. Clean and tidy seating areas. 🤔 This has potential for improvement: On the day we were there, a smile from the employee at the serving counter would have been nice. 😉 Hygiene in the preparation area should be monitored more closely. An employee with loose, long hair packing food does not leave a good impression. 🔍 Conclusion: Burger King on Merseburger Straße offers a solid meal with the typical Burger King taste. Small improvements in service and hygiene could improve the overall experience. 😊

We were there around 7 p.m., it was hardly crowded, but we stood for 10 minutes until the order was taken and then another 30 minutes until we received the food. The service was also very unfriendly, but at least the salad on the burger tasted fresh. But that's the only good thing about this restaurant.

First and foremost, it looks great from the inside, the expansion was great. The next thing I have to say and have seen is that citizens prepare food without gloves, the salad is touched without gloves, simply disgusting. Where is the hygiene compliance? After the renovation, you can sit there better and there are even charging stations for cell phones. However, apart from one person in the kitchen and one person in service, there are not enough staff to react to large crowds. So more staff, more cleanliness, better feeling.

The Plant offer is great. The staff, often understaffed, do their best and are always friendly. When there are fries or half burgers on the floor and that is criticized, I wonder how people who cause that eat at home?! Took too long and the food was below average, considering the price

We tried to get into the establishment twice and it is closed during business hours. Throughout Leipzig there are only three restaurants participating in the One Piece promotion, and one of them simply does not want to work (It’s very sad to travel by bus, waste time, and as a result get screwed up more than once. Delivery is always long, and the food is cold.

The management ignores formerly loyal customers by refusing to pay in cash. According to the note on the door, this would be temporary. Unfortunately, this has been the case for 3 weeks. When I asked, I was told that there will generally no longer be any cash acceptance here! The reason was two break-ins and the associated theft of money. Any other company or business owner would protect their income or put it in the bank. Where have we come to where an officially approved means of payment such as cash is no longer accepted? Just a Burger King. We went there around 11 a.m. on a Saturday and were almost the only guests. Everything went quickly and without any complaints.

20 years ago I went to Burger King quite often, now I only go to it maybe once a year. Why? Prices that you can't cope with and food that is cold and ready to be picked up after an eternity of waiting. When asked if the burger could be warmer, the answer is that it is finger food. I wonder when the health department will come and close the place??? You can expect the food to be warm and not lukewarm or cold. Go somewhere else, support the restaurants with real chefs, eat out less and eat delicious food instead.

One would think that franchise chains are standardized... Ok, that's not possible when it comes to service and its friendliness. However, in terms of cleanliness it should be... Also the first Burger King where the toilets cost (at least only for women). And the best thing: some things were sold out... instead of saying something, they simply didn't pack the missing parts (e.g. juice for the kids' menu)!
