Burger King in Berlin

The Burger King in central Berlin is pretty decent with the only downside being the wait times. The food was to standard and cooked well, there was plenty of seating and the restuarant was overall pretty tidy.

The burger meat had no taste and everything was lukewarm, 😖 even though it was freshly prepared. Where does this happen? Customers are expected to pay for using the restroom, although they do give you a voucher... Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?

They didn't sell me a burger because I couldn't place an order with the app.

Ordered food at 8:03 PM, received it at 8:19 PM. The place was moderately busy. The first burgers were placed with the cold drinks at 8:10 PM. When I finally asked where my order was, he quickly prepared it. I told him the other burgers must be cold by now. He took the bag out again, felt it, said "nope, it's still good," and put it back in. Of course, the burgers were cold. I've never experienced such bad service.

It's a good thing the place isn't going anywhere 🤮 but it probably will soon if the health department doesn't come. The chicken in the burger was cooked through, but burnt black. Just disappointing and disgusting. The burger was a real pain. The fries tasted like old oil and grease, and the mayonnaise was sour. 🤮💩💩💩 I got diarrhea immediately. What a shame, just disgusting. The only thing that tasted good in the meal deal was the cola; even the mayonnaise was sour. What a waste of money, the food ended up in the trash. ‼️Don't go there ‼️ They should wear hygienic gloves when making the burgers. I got diarrhea right away. The health department should come and see me, I'm just disgusting.

You can smell the toilets from the top of the stairs (not in a good way -piss) 🤢 food was also tasteless and cold, overall hygiene was pitiful with flies and waste piling up on the racks tables sticky and floors dirty, sadly not as expected 1star at best

It was an awful place, dirty and smelly toilets, you had to pay for a toilet that is not even clean. You had to pay more and more and siste get in the bathroom. Sink bearly worked. Smelly and dangerous atmosphere

Incredible but true: at this Burger King, they make you pay to use the bathroom, even after you've eaten there. I find this to be a total lack of respect for customers. I spent money on food and still had to pay for something as basic and necessary as going to the bathroom. It's shameful and absurd that such a large chain treats those who choose it this way. An outrageous experience that leaves a terrible image of the brand. I'm never going back.

Worst user experience no possibility for card payment at the counter Manager was rude as well The self ordering machines are slow and payment at this machines suck Almost 10-15 people went back within 30 mins just because the machine was not working for card payment and manager was denying card payment at counter even when he had an option to do so. Waiting almost for 30 mins for a burger is not feasible instead get an another option there are many of them near by. Suggestions to Burger King close this outlet or change the manager and system there your service sucks

Coupons don't work, so why even have the Burger King app? Crowded and dirty place. Overall, the food wasn't tasty either. Ice cream constantly sold out. The only positive thing is the quick processing of orders. Never again!

The Burger King is very clean and well-organized for this crowd. There are no long waits. The food is just a Burger King. The employees are friendly and not overwhelmed. But otherwise, everything is good.

I am extremely disappointed!!! A very rude manager (the staff were super friendly except for him), the food was cold and soggy, you would have expected nothing else! The manager insulted a little girl, calling her arrogant and conceited because she had eaten something from another restaurant at Burger King (she immediately put the food away when it was pointed out to her). The manager hit on another girl on my next visit, which was also incomprehensible. Apparently this happens often. The manager screamed at the store and then immediately hid. You might as well walk four minutes to the next store 🤷🏼‍♀️

Terribly prepared food. Unfriendly staff. Charge customers for toilet use AND charge €1 to give you change so you can use the toilet.

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner. My burger had what felt like raw bacon on it, and the onion rings were completely soggy. And the drink tasted really weird, like dish soap.

On my last three visits, the ordering process at the self-service stations was constantly interrupted, and I had to go home hungry.

Edit: I ordered a chili cheeseburger with bacon and received a cold and hard burger after about 4 minutes. There was only one other customer in the store besides me. But the staff still had the time and inclination to perform drum solos from the counter 👎🏽👎🏽 (September 11, 2025...Gwgen 10:00 a.m. ) The store was almost empty at 9:20 a.m. I ordered a "large" fries and was disappointed by the size. I don't want to know what a small one looks like. It was disappointing for the price, though. They were fresh and crispy, though. The staff, bored, slammed the tray onto the counter without a single word. That's a no-go for me.

It's going to get a star for the simple fact that the bathrooms cannot be accessed without a card, apart from the fact that I think it's a disgrace that you have to pay when you've already consumed something in the establishment, a total disgrace.

Not really a star. You walk in and want to order something at the counter, and the machines take over half an hour to calculate the total. I'll never go there again.

One of the worst burger joints. They charge you for the bathroom, but not for keeping it clean or stocked, just to make a profit.

We ordered menu for each-came not very Warm. And we want to use the toilet. You have to pay for that...being a client. Bizzare really. We paid. After that automat broke and the cleaning lady was very unpleasant for the next guy who paid and tried to enter. Unpleasant experiance even for fast food.

Delicious cold milkshake in the summer at Burger King on Alex. 😉. Unfortunately, it looks very dirty in front of the store in the evening, but the Burger King staff can't do anything about it if some people behave like that outside. The staff always try their best to handle the crowds there.

--CORONA TIMES-- I was at Burger King at Alexanderplatz in Berlin on September 1, 2020, between 10 and 11 a.m. and wanted to buy a meal. When I got to the counter, an employee pointed out my mask, which I wasn't wearing. I told her I had a medical certificate and could show it. A man then came over and said that the exemption didn't matter and that I still had to wear a mask. I tried to explain to him that it wasn't medically possible and that I could show the certificate. He loudly yelled at me and told me to leave his store. No one was allowed in without a mask. I explained to him that the exemption was fine and that I couldn't wear a mask for health reasons. I asked for his name and that I wanted to speak to the manager. He then reacted even louder and more aggressively, saying that I wouldn't get his name and that he was the manager, he had the right to refuse entry, and he decided whether someone was served or not. Then he asked me to open the door again and told the employees that no one was allowed to serve me! I'm shocked by such behavior because it's discrimination and coercion!!! Of course, people who don't comply with the requirement to wear a face mask can be excluded from using the facilities. But such an exclusion can only take effect if there is an obligation to wear a face mask in the first place. For people who cannot wear a face mask for medical reasons, there is no such obligation. Therefore, shop owners cannot deny these people access or exclude them by citing this rule or their own house rules. Access can only be denied for an objective reason. This means that the denial of access cannot be issued arbitrarily. Which is what happened in this case. People who cannot wear a face mask for medical reasons and are expressly exempt from the requirement to wear one, there is no objective reason for their exclusion. These people cannot be denied entry. In addition, if I, as a customer, am denied entry, the Burger King owner is blatantly violating the exception provided for in the Corona Protection Ordinance and risks a lawsuit for discrimination. I submitted a complaint by email, and to date, no response!! I don't recommend anyone go there! There are plenty of places to snack nearby!! Avoid the store! It's not worth a cent!!

I haven't been to BK in years because I just didn't like the food anymore. But things seem to have changed. The fries were better than at McD's, and the buns weren't dry at all. The beef had a grilled flavor—it couldn't be better. Yes, the terminals took a while, but the menu display was always up-to-date—not like at McD's. When picking up, the number was also clearly visible on the menu, which saved me having to ask. And even though the place was always busy (all terminals occupied) and I always had something special to add to my burger, it was really quick!

Particularly noteworthy are the friendly staff, such as the gentlemen named Olly and Hasso.

Busy place to be. But we still enjoyed the time there me and my family. we dined in, and we didnt feel any stress. Good people around. I think i like Berliner people.

Incredible experience - none of the touch screens work but the personnel keeps on telling you to try another one. There is a guy at the cash register but he only takes cash. No accountability. Russia before the Perestrojka.

I come here every day and never wait longer than 2-5 minutes for my food. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is visibly cleaned and tidied more often. I always enjoy coming here.

This Burger King is the worst in the chain, the fries and the Bacon King sandwich are super salty. I don't recommend it if you have high blood pressure, run away or you'll end up in the hospital.

There is zero communication with the customer. Even though he knew we were tourists, the person I thought was the chef was very rude. I have never seen such a quality approach, a Burger King branch that excludes customer satisfaction, anywhere in the world and in Berlin. It was clear from the start that Burger King would be more expensive than McDonald's, and the burger itself tasted better too! Despite noting in my order that I wanted it without jalapenos, this was ignored, and the price of €2.99 for the chili cheeseburger was almost too high. Service wasn't particularly friendly, but not rude either, which, all in all, justifies giving it 3 out of 5 stars. A classic fast-food joint on Alexanderplatz with acceptable food. You know what you're getting.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burgers. They're better than at McDonald's, and the fries are also very good. However, the ordering terminals are a bit slow. I really don't understand why they have to wait another three minutes to charge for the price if the price is already displayed.

I entered my order on the display. Then the computer took 6 minutes to add up the cost of a meal and a burger. It actually said 6! Minutes... Will be charged... And then it takes another 4 minutes to activate the card payment. That's not possible. It's a computer. It should take 5 seconds, not 10!!! Minutes!!

You need a receipt to use the restroom, but you don't always get one. Two meals on one receipt? Well, you only get one toilet.

I'd rather give everything zero stars, the place is so bad. 1. I had a hair in my burger (which doesn't match my hair color). 2. You couldn't get past the barrier at the restroom because the device was broken, and when you asked the staff to let you through, they told you, "Tough luck, come back later." 3. The restrooms stink of urine and other things as soon as you walk down the stairs to the restroom, and they're absolutely filthy, full of hair and urine stains.

After ordering, I and four other people decided never to go back to this Burger King. Let's start with the service. We're customers here and STILL have to pay for a restroom!? You don't have to understand. Our order came with a French fry that DEFINITELY wasn't a large one. It was a small French fry, which we later wanted to exchange for a large one. The employees lied to us and claimed it was a large one. Let's move on to the food. Everything fried was cooked in rancid oil (long chicken, nugget burger AND fries...). You could smell it all over our table... By the way, this is the first time we've ever left food (ENTIRE BURGERS). One thing we can't confirm is that our plant-based patty was very meaty... I really don't feel like complaining about the atmosphere now, so PLEASE DON'T COME HERE!!! You should know...
