hype... I saw a long YouTube video about the Bulle bakery with public sales and really got interested. The approach is to be praised, the own buns, a lot of regional food, meat grinders on site,... But the truth is - at least for me - that the burgers are nothing really special. OK for German standards (there are really bad burgers in this country), but no comparison to London/UK or the USA. Unfortunately, the burger (I had the smash cheese) fails, especially when it comes to its core competence, the bun. Far too “powerful” and compact for me. The meat was nice and coarse but had very little flavor, no special sauce (at least on this burger!). The fries were great, homemade sauces are commendable. The ambience in the bakery, which was cleared out in the evening, is “special”.

5 stars alone for the cool woman at the checkout - she's in a great mood every time she visits. All the other employees are also super nice. And the most important thing: the burgers are also great, especially the bread!

Great service with a really tasty burger. You get a high quality burger for less money than in other burger restaurants. The patties are formed in-house and the bread is baked in-house. The fries were also A1. Picture: 2 Oklahoma burgers with bacon and fries with chipotle(?) sauce for 30€.

We had an appointment in Düsseldorf (coming from Cologne) and since my daughter had already recommended the store to us, we decided to go there. And we weren't disappointed, on the contrary, we were thrilled! Super tasty, fresh burgers, you also have to try the fries and homemade lemonade! Fantastically awesome burger, juicy fries and cool employees. Everything was homemade and you can tell by the taste! The fries with the skin on were brilliantly crispy and juicy at the same time. But the burger surpassed everything. The smashed patty was very flavorful. But the bread... Holy crap. I had never eaten such an awesome bun. Fluffy Awesome! And then the three employees were in a very good mood. We had a short, fun conversation and we will definitely come back!

For me the best burger in the city, the owner and the team are super nice. And the concept of using regional products and selling a certain number of burgers and not having to throw away food due to sustainability is also a strong statement. The only drawback is that it's not that comfortable if you get a seat upstairs. But at the end of the day it's just a to-go sale. Addendum after a year, I have now deducted a star even though it is still one of my favorites. But if every 2-3 burgers are gristly, the experience is no longer so great. Unfortunately, I've had this happen several times. I hope it gets better again!

At Bulle Burger, you order at the window and if you decide to eat it on site, if there are free seats, you can either go straight into the bakery's premises or wait in the queue outside until seats become free. Then you get your food very fresh and warm! It's a smart concept in itself, but in my opinion it doesn't always work because some people chatter away after eating and the waiting times can be really long. The service is really great, attentive and we really felt very comfortable. I had a smash burger and you can literally tell that the focus here is on organic quality, handmade goods and freshness. The fries were made from fresh potatoes and were super tasty! The visit was definitely worth it.

Super delicious Oklahoma Smash Burger! We ordered and the burgers arrived still hot and fresh. The entire combination of brioche bun, smash patty, caramelized onions, pickles and sauces make the burger so juicy and delicious. A little salad in the burger would be great, but it's probably a matter of taste. Unfortunately, I found the smash cheeseburger a bit dry. But the Oklahoma Smash is definitely recommended.

Best burgers ever!! Aromatic, well-seasoned meat, fluffy brioche buns, well-balanced condiments. Simply a poem. Anyone who turns their nose up at burgers hasn't tried Bulle Burger yet.

To be honest, I thought that no burger could really “pick me up” anymore, but the Bulle Burger is really exceptionally tasty. As expected, brioche is by far the best bun I've tried so far. The meat and sauces are perfect without being anything super fancy, it's all about pure good taste, everything that's on the burger just tastes really good. Plus perfectly fried fries, nice guys who prepare and serve it. Unfortunately, the seating is a bit uncomfortable, but it's a bakery and not a restaurant, so maybe we could still work on that. But burgers are a 10/10, even in comparison with Fette Kuh/Gasoline in Copenhagen etc.

By far the best burger in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area!! The meat is freshly minced, the sauces are homemade and tasty, the brioche buns are freshly baked next door in the Bulle bakery. I can highly recommend the lunch menu with “garden to table” salad and a slightly smaller burger; Not a run-of-the-mill salad, but exciting and fresh ingredients, great dressings, great taste! Unfortunately there are only a few seats outside on the sidewalk during the day, but when the bakery is closed you can sit inside.

It's a shame, I was very happy based on the reviews and quickly snacked on a cheeseburger when I got off. The bun was really great, but unfortunately some of the meat was a bit gristly and unfortunately not medium as ordered. Unfortunately, it was also unevenly seasoned, so that some parts were really salty and some were almost unseasoned. And otherwise I didn't think the burger was really well balanced. Conclusion: The burger is solid, but I wouldn't necessarily walk there from the train station again. Maybe I was just a bit unlucky today...

The burgers are so incredibly delicious! It's just a shame that the seating isn't quite optimal and there's no way to wash your hands afterwards. It's best to give a wrapped wet wipe with every burger, then you can at least compensate for this 😄

Bulle Burger is simply THE burger in Düsseldorf. Every bite is always an experience. The homemade soda and sauces, especially truffle aioli, are outstanding. The employees always have nice sayings on their lips.

Disappointing After the good reviews here I was really disappointed. The quality of the burger is definitely much better than a McDonald's burger, but the taste is very similar to that and miles away from other good burger joints. The price is too high for that (also considering that only take away is possible). I was also very surprised that Bulle Burger was noticed during official hygiene monitoring at the end of 2023

Well, the burgers they make are easily top 5 in my life. A twist on a big mac of their own making is something like a regular big mac, but with all the REAL and quality ingredients. And the bun is perfect, because what they also do is running a bakery at the same place. Also being a bistro help you stay fresh with not even a little getting of a kitchen smell to your clothes. Don’t miss!

A very cool burger 🍔 All the ingredients tasted great and the meat was very juicy and had nice roasted aromas. The brioche bun was so soft and went perfectly with the burger. The fries were very well fried and were nice and crispy 🍟 The service was super friendly and you didn't have to wait long for your order. The only drawback is that I ate outside and it was very loud at lunchtime because of the traffic. I therefore recommend taking the burger with you and then enjoying it in a quieter place. All in all, this is a very strong Bruger and the reviews don't lie. I can recommend Bulle to every burger lover 👍 I will gladly come again

I expected more and it definitely wasn't crunchy enough for a smash burger. The quality of meat isn't that great either.

As a big burger enthusiast, I can confidently say this was the best burger I've ever had. I tried the vegan burger, and it was absolutely amazing. I also sampled the bacon burger my partner ordered, and it was equally delicious! The vegetables were fresh, the buns were perfect, and the fries were crispy and salty. I have no complaints at all.

The tastiest burger I've had so far. You know their ingredients and suppliers. The meat had a very light texture and a lot of flavor, it wasn't even frozen until the burger. The lady at the ordering window was super friendly and you could tell they were proud of their craft. The homemade lemonades alone were so good that we went back for more lemonade shortly after eating them.

We ate here today after wanting to eat for a long time - finally at Bulle Burger. And I knew it - it would be a hit. I very rarely eat burgers and mostly only vegetarian ones. But here we ate the Smash Chesseburger with fries and delicious mayo. OMG - that's very awesome. So delicious and really cool. It's definitely a big portion and enough for my partner than me. We were smashed 😜 and will definitely come several times. We got the tip from duy.eats and it's awesome. I am very happy about such a great store in Düsseldorf. Price-performance is also great!!! 🔝

Unfortunately, I don't understand the hype - although we were very excited when we were able to order the burger. Starting with the ambience: unfortunately you could only sit down on the few seats outside. Unfortunately, the pedestrian zone is very busy and therefore it is not pleasant to eat here. The service was good - the man is in a very good mood and motivated, but unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. First of all: yes, the burger tastes very fresh. The bread is good, the salad is crunchy, that's without question and no burger shop in Düsseldorf does that as well as the Bulle Burger. But the burger itself tastes like nothing! The patty has no taste, nothing that could justify the almost 5☆ rating (or make the Düsseldorf influencers rave about it). But we knew that the people who also ate at Bulle Burger that day had the same opinion as us - maybe the seasonings were simply forgotten that day, or maybe the cheeseburger was just served so bland. Unfortunately we don't know, but my experience is based on this experience and unfortunately it was a disappointment.

I travel a lot for work and so I’ve eaten burgers all over the world. This place hits my top 3 without any question. Great staff who really care and the most impressive burgers I’ve tasted. Such a great concept- there’s a bakery during the day and in the evening the window next door offers both takeaway or you can sit in the bakery and eat. The staff are generous - both with their portions and their time and they are clearly very proud of what they do. This is absolutely the best food in Dusseldorf. The Rhein tower is good, Schumachers is ok, but, in my mind - this is the number 1. I look forward to visiting again - it’ll be my first stop from the airport!
