The taste of the beer and cocktail was simply bad.

Really a disaster! First of all, we waited forever until a waiter came to us, even though the place really wasn't full. Then 10 minutes after we placed the order the food arrived. That really didn't work at all. The schnitzel tasted like old fat, just like the fries. We gave the entire meal back but no one cared. We didn't ask if we wanted something else, we just took it without saying a word. This probably happens several times a day there. When we complained about the food, we were brought an apology drink and the bill. Of course everything was completely included on the invoice. I then wanted to speak to the boss because I know that legally I don't have to pay for the food if it was inedible and it was returned in full. Five different waiters then came to the table and all said something different. The last one then said that the boss wasn't there and that he couldn't cancel with the cash register system. I knew immediately that it was a lie because I work in the catering industry myself and I know that every POS system can cancel. After a long discussion we still had to pay for the meal and I got the number from the boss. If he doesn't show himself to be cooperative, I will call in both the police and the health department, especially because, judging by the other reviews, this is not an isolated case, but rather the rule. Maybe these people only learn from this when the shop has to close because the kitchen is the biggest waste. And on top of that, I had extreme stomach pain after eating. Better stay away from this “Brauhaus”.

I applied for a job as a shift manager in this strange store. On the first day of my work, an Arab colleague combed. He tried to manipulate me from the start. His initial question is where I come from. I answered here from Düsseldorf. However, the fun began now when the employee realized that I could not be manipulated. Started threatening me directly in Arabic. Now different insults came in Arabic, an unbearable situation for everyone. I myself come from Lebanon, so I am also of Arab descent. But what I also noticed in the store is that most of the employees, including the owners, are manipulated by them. The useless employee in question was rude to colleagues and rudely incompetent to guests. Said employee threatened to go home. So I had to bend my work so that I didn't cause any damage to the company. It has absolutely nothing to do with gastronomy. The owners were manipulated by these employees. This is obviously what this employee has in hand. Owners who allow themselves to be influenced by such criminals don't deserve it any other way. This is a warning for every person who sincerely wants to work, avoid this shop. Because the owners were unable to assess this situation fairly and correctly. I'll make it public. I expect an apology from the said employees for the threat in Arabic. And from the owners. I had no other option because the owners were too embarrassed to take my concerns seriously. Different reviews confirm what I experienced on site. Customers are obviously being robbed, that is Thief also stole tourists have rights. This employee in question is a very dangerous daffodil. No one deserves such rude and disrespectful treatment. Every person deserves respect. I hope the owners take this seriously now.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the location. Unfortunately, everything was calculated incorrectly: Beef burger was ordered, double beef got = €4 extra - we don't need to talk about the quality of the burger. An extra €1 each was charged for a bit of ketchup and mayo, even though we had ONLY ordered mayo. Nowhere on the menu does it say that dips are added on top. The waiters had little overview, so after we sat down we were asked three times whether we had found something on the menu. But at least they tried... The high point towards the end was that there was really no mention of “card payment only” anywhere - only when we wanted to pay. So you had to go to the ATM again...

Underground and suspected fraud/tax evasion. We ordered food and then wanted to pay. A colleague tells us it's only possible in cash, all right, no problem. Then the next colleague comes out and says “€25 please” (we had food & drinks worth €17.4). We then asked for a receipt and were given a false receipt for €22.6 & were asked to simply pay the €17.4, even though the receipt said €22.6. We said we would only pay after a proper receipt has been issued (we need it as proof of eligibility). We were then told that the receipt could be reissued, which only the boss, who is not in the house, can do. After 20 minutes of waiting and the excuse “the boss doesn’t answer the phone”, we are still sitting here waiting for a correctly issued receipt. All in all, underground with cheeky and rude service. I can only advise against it

Great location right on Bolker Straße. Service is tried but overwhelmed. The TV didn't work until after the game started. The burger looked very good. But the paddy was so sore and dry that you needed an extra portion of mayonnaise to be able to eat it. So far just 3/5 stars. The toilets were shameful and then unfortunately deteriorated to 2/5.

Yesterday we went to the “Brauhaus” at the White Bear and it was completely unworthy. - We received a glass where a piece of approx. 3 - 4 cm long was clearly missing from the edge and had a sharp edge - no waiter service or table service - ordering at the bar area was a disaster. The waiter never noticed who was next and made some customers wait extremely long, but others who had only been at the bar for a few seconds were served straight away. The solution was to require all guests to stand in a row from now on. Craziness - only cash payment, no EC. We did not receive a receipt for our order. - There was no soap or towels in the toilets - the sitting toilet was clogged with paper and something that had once been in a human body - a urinal was full to the brim with vomit. - the toilet situation was just disgusting and unbearable. The whole thing was between 7 and 8 p.m., quite early in the evening. We moved on very quickly after our impressions.

Unfortunately zero stars is not possible. Wake up, it's European Football Championship in the country. One waiter in the bar and one in service. Service desert Germany. After 30 minutes still no service. If I come to Düsseldorf again I will avoid this restaurant.

Tourist trap. The food was substandard and had hardly any taste. It only came after an hour even though there wasn't much going on. A dish was forgotten. Ketchup and mayo that were put on the table without asking should also be accounted for. What poverty.

They recommended a dish that was very small for 25 euros. We were waiting for our food for one hour and a half. When we asked for the bill and not pay for the food because they were terribly late, the stuff brought the police to resolve the issue. Locally in a good location, food is below average, prices for food are high, for drinks it's almost cheeky, considering that a large glass consists of 1/3 of foam and isn't even really full. Card payment is also impossible, as you are told when paying. Toilets are dirty and the locals are generally pretty shabby. Staff does what they can, but that doesn't save the store.

We ordered food with 8 people. After 1.1/2 hours we were told that it would take another 30 minutes. We had finished drinking and wanted to leave. Then all of a sudden the food was there. We didn't order much and taste is a matter of opinion. We won't be coming back

The service was very hard, you have to give it to the restaurant. The beer was simply subterranean, tasted stale in every round and sorry, after the total bill comes, to say that only cash payment is accepted is simply cheeky!!!! Charging mayonnaise for 1€ per portion can probably just be a bad joke and charging for extra sauce for 3.9€ per portion is an April joke at the wrong time... Not recommended!

Outside wow, inside... - Ordered food for two people, preparation took a very long time, then a manta platter arrived 15 minutes before the salad. The rocket salad was missing all of the rocket and tomatoes. When we asked, we were told that the fresh rocket hadn't been washed yet and otherwise it would have taken too long... Shortly afterwards we overhear an employee discussion at the counter - there is no more arugula at Aldi and other discount stores... It's a bit cheeky not to be honest with the customer, to present a dish without the main ingredient and then lie to their face! - 1 waiter served the entire shop and it took quite a long time to get to it - Men's toilet looked like it had been attacked - paper towels in the drain and on the floor, trash can overflowing... even after informing the staff nothing happened. - only cash payment possible!! + nice, cozy atmosphere with outdoor dining + Food tasted ok

Food took forever, beer was good. Disadvantage... you can't pay with a card and are forced to withdraw cash somewhere... usually expensive because the ATM is nearby and not related to the house bank. Portion of liver cheese rather puny… Schnitzel was ok.

There is a great traditional restaurant right at the beginning of the old town! Great ambience and above all: there is LIVE HOSPITALITY here. The staff is very friendly, attentive and you can tell that no one works here because they "urgently need a job". Here we work with heart and mind, prepare delicious food and the owner himself has time for a quick chat! For me it's a special feature in the old town and definitely worth one, if not many, visits! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely not recommended, there are drunken idiots hanging around in the shop on a Saturday evening, no one can do anything about it, but the service was pathetic at best, if you wait 1.5 hours for your food and then you can't even pay with an EC card, which you couldn't before was communicated, then it's just sad. I imagine a brewery to be completely different. To everyone: Do yourself a favor and give this dirty shop a wide berth.

Just bad, both in terms of service and food

Seldom eaten so badly! The Brauhaus plate for over €25 was a disgrace: pork fillet the size of a Senseo coffee pad, fried to death, rock hard, the underside burnt. Beef was hard to cut, so burnt and hard. Liver cheese ok. Bratwurst was a tasteless grilled sausage. Baked potato already brown on the inside, so either warmed up again or in the oven for hours. AND NOW FOR THE PEPPER SAUCE: Came with a dark brown skin and tasted like a tablespoon of ground white pepper in a bit of moldy rancid cream. The meat was remade in the kitchen and arrived after waiting over 25 minutes. Of course, my friends (we wanted to end the evening with a nice meal after the beautiful musical 😞) had already finished for a long time. Service was extremely delayed; drinks were only asked after more than 30 minutes despite empty glasses. There was a group of men sitting at the next table, all complaining about the food. Other guests went to another restaurant after 15 minutes without service! Please don't think that all the tables were occupied and that's why the 3 visible service employees couldn't keep up... two of them were able to chat regularly with each other.

It's a shame that something like that is called a brewery. If you're expecting German, good cuisine, etc., you've unfortunately come to the wrong place. Schnitzel inedible, burger meat completely dry, fries white and cold and then rather expensive prices for small portions...definitely never again!!

When paying they brought the incomplete change (the bill was 5.20 for two beers, I paid €10 and they returned only €3.5) when I complained they only gave me 40 cents more in 2 cent coins

We regretted coming here, as everywhere the places were crowded. We ordered two burgers and it came with fries. And also paid sauces that we were not warned about. The burgers are very large, fatty, but absolutely tasteless, the meat is not clear from what or how it was prepared, the sauces in the burger are greasy and tasteless, I couldn’t even eat half of it, I had to eat only French fries, although I was very hungry. From extremely bad food to very rude and incompetent service to the fact that an XXL schnitzel (which was two small products) first came raw and then completely dry, it was just bad! Even 0 stars would still be a compliment!

If you could give 0 stars that would be too much. The quality of the food is nowhere near what a paying guest would expect. The sanitary facilities are early 80s style. We were here twice. The first and certainly the last time.

We just had drinks here, beer was good, and service was fine. The only real downside was its cash only, and that wasn't made clear when we went in.

We ordered fries with our meal, but the waiter asked us what kind of sauce we wanted, but did not tell us that the sauce was extra, and that a sauce cost one euro. In addition, the store can only pay in cash. When checking out, it told us that we had no change, rounded the price, and charged us the whole meal. And when we ordered, we asked for a cup of tap water. The store told us that there was no tap water, only purified water. However, at the final checkout, a cup of iced purified water cost four euros. Tipped themselves without asking

One of the worst places ive ever eat. The steak was incredibly small, the oven potato was cold and the flavour of the sauce was awful. Once said to the employee he said simply that he knew that theyr cuisine is horrible because there is only one person in the kitchen. Not excusable.

Worst experience of my life in a restaurant. The steak was probably child size, to be cut directly with the professional flex given its hardness. The potatoes were cold. Only the beer was salvageable since they only poured it, otherwise that would have been bad too. A trauma, don't go there.

Überteuert! Meistens war der Laden leer, also entschieden wir uns ihn mal auszuprobieren (nun wissen wir es). Es waren vereinzelt Touristen drin, die wahrscheinlich dem Altstadt-Trubel entkommen wollten. Preise sind sehr happig. Außer Lage nicht viel zu bieten. Leider

Terrible place. We went here for diner with the two of us. We placed our order along with the table next to us. The waiter wrote it down on a coaster and left. He lost both our order and told the table next to us what happened but completely ignored us for 30 minutes. After waiting for some time he came back and told us he lost our order aswell. When the food finally came it was dry and not good. When we left we were not allowed to pay by card but had to pay by cash. The waiter with the bleached hair gave himself a tip without asking. His service was terrible, he was in a bad mood, lost our order and made us wait for a very long time. There are many more cafes in this area that are a lot nicer and have friendlier staff. Please go there and don’t waste your time in this place

Wir waren an Silvester 2023 hier essen und habe auf der Karte eine „Italienische Bratwurst „ entdeckt die Salsiccia Italia“ die sieht und schmeckt komplett anders aus als eine normale Bratwurst. Habe eine herkömmliche Bratwurst bekommen… der Preis lag bei 13,90€ mit Pommes! Fand ich total übertrieben und überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Hätte ich mir gegenüber beim Grillmeister auch eine holen können für die Hälfte und wäre genau so gut gewesen!

Nicht empfehlbar zum essen gehen. Hier sollte man nur hingehen zum Bier trinken.

Service vraiment mauvais les serveurs souffle en voyant arriver des gens à 13h00, passe 10x à côté de notre table sans prendre de commande et lors du paiement, erreur dans l'addition et le serveur ne veut pas rendre toute la monnaie, il se garde un pourboire sans raison ! Cuisine pas top, très simple mais pas cher Musique très forte lors de notre passage En résumé, petite brasserie à éviter ! Je ne recommande vraiment pas !

Welcher Unmensch bläst die fettige Abdusthaubenluft IN DEN INNENRAUM? Oben, einmal durch der lange Tisch direkt am Ende ist direkt im Strahl der Abluft - die nicht nach außen, sondern nach innen geht. Vom Auslass der Lüftung tiefen braune Fetttropfen herunter. Meine Klamotten sind nach nur 1h vor Ort unrettbar eingefettet. Den Gestank werde ich jetzt erstmal nicht mehr los. Ekelhaft! Das Essen war ansonsten überteuertes Mittelmaß, Kellner angetrunken und aufdringlich.

Wat een aanfluiting. Dit restaurant draait alleen omdat de andere restaurants vol zitten door de drukke kerstmarkten. Het eten is redelijk maar voor de kleine porties die je krijgt is het veel te duur. Je betaald onaangekondigd 1 euro voor mayonaise en/of ketchup en 1.50 euro als je friet wil in plaats van aardappel. Ook hier communiceren ze niet over. Het personeel is ronduit chagrijnig en de man met zijn lelijke geblondeerde haar is de grootste chagrijn. Daarnaast kun je zelfs 'grote bedragen' niet eens pinnen. Bespaar je teleurstelling en ga ergens anders eten :)!

Anfangs etwas schwerfällig, aber nachdem wir einen Sitzplatz hatten, echt Top. Die Bedienung (Marco) einfach klasse. Kam immer auf uns zu und immer entgegen. Top Typ. Deswegen sind wir länger geblieben.

Dit weekend met 9 personen wezen eten. Het personeel is echt verschrikkelijk, vooral die blonde jongen. Hij zat aan de drank en nam constant shots met een groepje meiden. Na twee uur wachten eindelijk eten op tafel behalve bij 1 van ons…. Na meerdere keren vragen begon deze jongens ons te beledigen en belachelijk te maken. Nadat iedereen klaar was met eten en 1 van ons nog steeds niks ontvangen had zijn wij in gesprek gegaan en liep het uit de hand. We vroegen naar de manager deze wou liever niet in gesprek. Uiteindelijk hebben we een deel niet betaald en zijn we door de bewaking uit het pand verwijderd. Ga nooit naar dit restaurant….. horror avond.

Gemiddelde ijsco is nog warmer dan het eten dat je hier voorgeschotelt krijgt. (Als je het eten al krijgt, ze vergeten nog wel eens iemand te serveren). Personeel lokt liever ruzie op met de gasten dan dat ze het door hun veroorzaakte probleem oplossen.

Oogt heel gezellig maar ontzettend onvriendelijke mensen. Er was plek genoeg (om half vier) maar mensen die alleen wilden drinken werden weggestuurd. Je mocht alleen plaatsnemen als je ook zou eten. Ook onvriendelijk en ongeduldig bij het opnemen van de bestelling. Plek om nooit meer terug te komen.

Personal überfordert, haben über eine Stunde aufs Essen gewartet, das dann auch noch falsch war.personal war dann auch noch sehr unhöflich.werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

I’ve never experienced rude employees…and to top it off the manager didn’t care and the “owner” was worse!! Our fries were cold, Pork schnitzel was pink!! And my hubby ordered a medium/well steak. When he was served it was red!! And we were told they only make it medium and if wanted it done a specific way we should go to a “steakhouse”!!!! - this coming from the owner!!!!

Kürzlich hatten wir eine äußerst enttäuschende Erfahrung im Brauhaus. Das Essen, das wir bestellt hatten, war von minderwertiger Qualität. Das Fleisch war mit Fett und Knorpel durchzogen, und alle unsere Mahlzeiten schienen verbrannt zu sein. Es war wirklich eklig anzusehen und keiner von uns konnte es wirklich essen. Als wir dies dem Personal mitteilten, wurden wir nur aufgefordert, den Chef zu suchen. Der Chef zeigte jedoch keinerlei Verständnis für unsere Beschwerden und deutete sogar an, dass er selbst nicht in seinem eigenen Restaurant isst. Darüber hinaus war er nicht bereit, uns entgegenzukommen und keine Änderungen am Preis vorzunehmen. Es ist bedauerlich, dass das Brauhaus kein Interesse an der Kundenzufriedenheit zeigte. Angesichts dieser Erfahrung kann ich das Brauhaus leider nicht empfehlen.

Terrible service. They only accept cash. As we didnt know, they got angry and I even had to ask them to relax. They also charged me 7.8 EUR for two plastic glasses of sparkling water. Also, you had share the table with strangers which I personally didnt like. Terrible experience.

It was ok, not special. Beer was good. NOTE. They do not take cards which was annoying, no problem if they sign it, but they did not so had to go to ATM opposite which cost me! Take cash!

Nicht zu empfehlen! Wir mussten ewig auf unser Essen warten. Viele die nach uns gekommen sind hatten ihr Essen schon. Auf Nachfrage haben wir von der Kellnerin noch eine patzige Antwort bekommen. Das braucht kein Mensch!!!!!!

Wir haben heute eine knappe Stunde auf ein Schnitzel und einmal Schweinemedaillons gewartet, obwohl nicht so der große Betrieb war. Am besten wären wir wieder gegangen, nachdem wir erst nach über 10 Minuten etwas zu trinken bestellen konnten. Das Essen war okay, durchschnittliches Convenience Essen halt. Dafür eigentlich zu teuer.

Food was not too bad. Not high end, but solid German food. Waiting took way too long. It was busy, but if you can't handle it, don't allow that many people inside. Worst of all, staff was clearly drugged! One waitress kept up her extreme energy for hours. Another waiter behaved erratically. Sick.

I was there for beer and food. Both were great. They have some vegetarian options. They do not accept card payments. The staff were friendly.

Wir hätten es ahnen müßen, zwar ist 15.00 keine Essenszeit,aber wenn niemand im Lokal is…… Das Essen war schlecht, die Bedienung wo möglich noch schlechter. Entweder mit dem Handy beschäftigt, oder ganz abwesend. Total uninteressiert, aber dafür dann schnell persönlich Verletzt. Der bestellte Burger war zuerst Roh, der neue dan noch trockener und geschmackloser als die anderen Gerichte. Bei der Zahlung konnte der Kellner den Kartonburger nicht stornieren meinte er….. Als er gemerkt hat das es sonnst überhaupt kein Geld gäbe, hat er es doch irgendwie geschafffffffffffffffft…… auch toll: keine Kartenzahlung!

Leider 0 Punkte. 20.10.2023 so etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt ! Wir sind in das Lokal .. Ambiente Ok. Speisekarte ok. Bedienung ..aufdringlich obwohl wir die ersten im Lokal waren..bitte gleich bestellen....Da das Ambiente und die Karte sehr ansprechend sind wollten wir für den nächsten Tag einen Tisch reservieren, hatte wir auch getan. Nun kamen weitere Kunden nach unserer Bestellun in das Lokal .. erst 2 dann 1er dann 8Kunden nachdem nun alle ihr Essen bekamen und teilweise schon fertig waren, haben wir nun nach knapp 1 Stunde das Lokal ohne Essen verlassen. Die Ausrede das in der Küchen ein tech. Problem war ...naja. man wollte uns vielleicht scheinbar nicht bedienen, da wir offensichtlich keine Düsseldorfer waren. Diese Behandlung und die Art und Weise ist ein NO..GO..!!

Gemütliches Ambiente. Marco, unser Kellner, war wunderprächtig. Bester Mann, würde empfehlen.

Essen lecker (Gulasch und Jägerschnitzel) Service gut, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Preise in Ordnung
