Unfortunately, the waitress at this restaurant had a very inappropriate tone when we ordered our food and drinks. She said things like “quickly, quickly” and seemed very impatient, constantly rolling her eyes. It felt like serving us was a huge burden for them. What particularly bothered us was the clear difference in their behavior towards the table next to us. There she was friendly, smiled and seemed very helpful. This contrast was obvious and we felt like we were less welcome. We felt that she did not make an effort to give us the same attention and courtesy. Overall the service for us was disappointing and unprofessional. It would be desirable if all guests were treated equally, regardless of who they are.

Great food.. Oktoberfest was just great! I think the restaurant is in very good hands 👍🏼

10/16/24, we had reserved for a group of about 50 people. Two stars for good beer. The rest was subpar: completely overwhelmed staff wandering back and forth between the tables with the drinks. Food is ordered using an electronic terminal. Nothing happens for an hour, then like with the drinks. Almost half of the food is missing and is recorded again on the paper pad after about 90 minutes (!). It took almost two hours until everyone had their food. Never again.

We were here for dinner. Waited over 1.5 hours for our food. Which was as delicious as a frozen pizza. The service is overwhelmed and cannot cope with the number of orders. Rude and hasty, I wanted to pay for the first round, she said straight away and after 45 minutes there was still no one there. Overcrowded, unfriendly, loud, simply incompetent. Never again. And not recommended!

The salad was to die for! The beer also tastes good. The ambience invites you to linger. The beer garden is absolutely amazing.

Habe Latte Macchiato bestellt. Es war leider ungenießbar und konnte nicht trinken die Milch war sehr schlecht. Der Kellner war auch grob und statt es zu akzeptieren hat er meine Geschmack in Frage gestellt. Er hat versucht sich rechtzufertigen, was in meinem Augen nicht angebracht war. Nicht mal eine "Entschuldigung" habe ich von dem Kellner mit großem Ego gehört. Der Laden muss noch viel an der Kundenzufriedenheit arbeiten.

Last night I had Jägerschnitzel with cheese spaetzle and tap water. The schnitzel was old and dry and now I've been hanging with my head over the bowl for almost 3 hours with stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Unfortunately I have to say, the Käsespätzle are not recommended. Unfortunately it didn't taste like a brewery at all, and they were only lukewarm so they were warmed up. I've eaten much better in other breweries. The salad was interesting, with melon. Service okay. Location is beautifully located on the Alb. Prices are okay and toilets were clean.

We celebrated our wedding in a cool jug. Everything went great here, everything was to our satisfaction in the preliminary discussion and all wishes were accepted by Chris and implemented perfectly. I also can't understand the bad reviews, we had 2 waitresses who were super friendly and damn cool, which is what you want. The food was very good, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, all the guests praised it. Some guests even bought beer to take home because they liked it so much. We were very satisfied and can highly recommend the cool jug. Keep it up And thank you again for the wonderful service and the great communication with Chris.

This small home brewery makes my absolute favorite beer in the world and it comes ice cold about 1 minute after ordering! The beer garden couldn't be more authentic and the service, prices and quality are just right!

Beer tasted great as always. Unfortunately, the Giganten Schnitzel has deteriorated a lot. The size and price are ok but it was very dry and the fries had no trace of crispiness. The oil was probably very old.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in the city. The home-brewed beer is great. The food offered is OK. Only the toilets at some train stations are better than here. These are old, but cleaning them every now and then during opening hours would work wonders.

One of the best breweries in the city. Beer is first class, there is also the right food and you can always find space. You can also take beer bottles with you. The ambience is spacious and has a brewery flair. Unfortunately, the Kühler Krug buses only run until 7 p.m. They also offer parties and discos for older people; there is an adjoining room with several levels.

Had two beers after work, the price of €3.40 from 4-6 p.m. is really awesome. It took far too long from ordering to delivery. The waitress prefers to stand around instead of helping the porters. Beer from our own brewery 🍻 very good, varied and changing offerings. The food has always been good to great, today unfortunately it was nothing: meat cold, spaetzle cold or unseasoned, fries soggy and old. But: The staff apologized several times, tried hard, was friendly and polite.

My friends and I usually enjoy eating here and the staff is always very friendly and the food is delicious. Yesterday, however, we had to deal with an arrogant slob who presented himself as a big tattooed "wannabe head waiter" who was totally rude, impatient and annoyed. When asked a simple question about the menu, he wanted to send you home. This man simply didn't want to do his job at all and was pretty full of himself and full of himself. He also brought our food partially cooled and no longer fresh and ice cubes in our drinks were partially melted. When it came to collecting the money, it took forever for the gentleman to come and he was also in a bad mood when he didn't get a tip. It's generally difficult to find a good restaurant in Baden, but offering this as Jägerschnitzel is simply not possible. The cheese spaetzle was also below average in terms of taste. Therefore, I can only recommend the cooler jug ​​for going out for a drink.

That has to be better. Service staff are sometimes a bit rude when you point out errors in the bill, otherwise mostly friendly. My friend ordered the Braumeister plate (pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle). She had the first plate returned and then discovered on the second plate that the fillet was half raw again. Otherwise it was very comfortable, I just think the fact that the non-alcoholic beer was no longer available at 5:30 in the afternoon is not a great performance in a home brewery. There were 2 kitchen professionals at our table. Both were surprised about the pork fillet. Otherwise, the Kühle Krug is a very nice pub.

Unfortunately, our visit was rather disappointing. First the positive. The service was super friendly and always on hand :) I also really liked the side salad, delicious dressing and different salads in one. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. The light is delicious and at €4.80 it's really easy to handle :) Unfortunately that's it for the positive. I decided to eat the cheese spaetzle and I was really very disappointed because I didn't get cheese spaetzle but instead spaetzle with cream and maybe a pinch of cheese. If you have a dish like this on the menu, you simply have to write that it is mainly made with cream. They were also lukewarm - so all 4 that we ordered. It didn't taste good at all, but at a whopping €13.50 the dish was eaten. I also discovered on the map that you charge €0.50 for tap water. You can really explain to me how something that is free on your card costs money. I mean, if you come there with a canister, but for a glass?! I really find it absurd. Conclusion: If the opportunity arises at some point, it's okay to drink a beer there because you're driving/walking past, but I wouldn't eat there anymore.

We celebrated here with 250 people and were absolutely thrilled! Smooth coordination in advance, fantastic food and outstanding service. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and super motivated staff. And all of this at a price that other locations in Karlsruhe cannot compete with. I can fully recommend it if you are planning a larger celebration!

Kühler Krug, a monumental achievement of German cousine sitting at the crown of the lungs of Karlsruhe. My personal favourite is the mouth-watering Jägerschnitzel with, of course, a Maß of the classic Rittertrunk. There really is no better location in all of Karlsruhe for a big get-together with your friends and loved ones. I would confidently recommend to everyone looking to highlight their sunny sunday afternoon.

The entire restaurant is getting old. The toilets are disgusting. The area at the counter is unsorted and chaotic. I ordered cheese spaetzle. These were inedible. I complained and got a few dry spaetzle so I could mix them into my cheese spaetzle. These were also really soft. Probably lay in the water forever. I've never had such bad cheese spaetzle before. I left almost the entire portion standing. I was really sick. The spaetzle only consisted of cream and some cheap cheese. Totally bad. What I would like to mention positively was the friendly service. She handled my criticism very well and was always friendly. I advise everyone Stay away from the cheese spaetzle.

Miserables Essen heute mal wieder zu Gast im Kühlen Krug . Bedienung flott, Bier wie immer gut. Zum Essen : Schweinsbraten geschmacklos, undefiniert gewürzt, ungenießbar. Soße: pampige Konsistenz, geschmacklos, Knödel: Geschmacklos, Breznknödel??? nicht definierbar. Wurde insgesamt reklamiert, Essen ging zurück. Es erfolgte zwar keine Berechnung, eine Entschuldigung fehlte jedoch. Nie wieder, keine Empfehlung

Stopped by to have a beer during our bike tour. Since it started raining we sat indoors, in the veranda. The acoustic there is simply awful 😞 Unfortunately, the table next to us was a party with babies and very small kids who were really loud. Due to the bad acoustic it amplified 10 times... Though the beer good and service was okay-ish, I will not return here as it just didn't feel like a relaxing place to me. The place could also do with some refurbishment.

The Brauhaus Kühler Krug is our regular restaurant and we can recommend it with the best, honest, clear conscience. The entire service staff is extremely friendly and nice, we also know the service team leader personally and he also looks after the guests 1A. The food is simply great, the Brauhaus Kühler Krug is our second home and our second living room. We come specifically from Wörth am Rhein and always enjoy coming there to eat. In our opinion, the Brauhaus Kühler Krug deserves more than 100 stars. The price-performance ratio is mega top and can no longer be topped. Truly I say to you, go eat there, you will not regret it.

Es gibt verschiedene Räumlichkeiten: - großer Saal - Kupferkessel - Rittersaal - Wintergarten - Restaurant - Biergarten (Außenbereich) Neben dem Konzept von schmackhaften Gerichten, ist das Brauhaus auch für das frisch gebraute Kühler Krug Helle, Weizenbier, malzige Dunkelbier, Saisonbiere bekannt. Preislich ist das Brauhaus günstig aufgestellt, für die heutige Zeit. Es werden montags bis freitags auch Tagesessen + Saisonessen (Spargel) angeboten. > Tagesessen an diesem Tag: Putengeschnetzeltes mit Rahmsauce und Bandnudeln für 14,90 € > Tagesspecial Mittwoch: Fleischkäse oder Pizzafleischkäse mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat für 11,00 € Bestellung: > Radler 0,5l für 4,80 € > ist auf der Getränkekarte nicht aufgeführt > Ofenkartoffel mit Quark, Ofenkartoffel an Salatbouquet mit frischem Kräuterquark für 8,90 € Gesamtfazit: Radler war lecker - Essen ebenso - kann man gerne wiederholen. Bad service and unfriendly employees! I had reserved for a group. At that point it was clear that the weather would be good and accordingly we made a reservation for outside... Well, when we arrived we were assigned a table inside. Unfortunately it's a no-go at 27 degrees, especially if there are free tables outside. Since there was a lack of coordination within the team, waiters constantly asked me whether I would like to order something or whether they could help me. It should have been obvious that I was waiting for an answer from the previous waiter, since all the waiters were standing together. But it was great to be asked by everyone and then get no answer... Once we finally had a table, we were able to order. The drinks we initially ordered were delicious, but that didn't stop there. After waiting in vain for some time, we spoke several times to a waiter who apparently only served one table (??) in our niche. He referred us to the waiter in charge, but he didn't come. After we waited 1.5 hours he came calling for “last round” at 9 p.m. According to its own timing, the restaurant doesn't close until 10 p.m. When we pointed out that we had been waiting for the next order for a long time, we only received a harsh, unfriendly answer. We would only be sitting there for half an hour... I wouldn't come again. The ambience and the beer are all well and good, but unfortunately they cannot compensate for the unfriendliness and poor service. I would have preferred to go to another restaurant.

Unfriendly waiter and unbelievable waiting times! We had reserved for 30 people, but apparently we were noted for the interior. Upon request, tables were kindly put together for us outside. This hospitality and willingness to compromise saves the second star here. Otherwise I would gladly not have given a single one. After we ordered and received our first drink (7:30 p.m.), the waiter was nowhere to be seen. Despite repeated requests from other staff, no further orders were taken. References were repeatedly made to a colleague who was supposed to come straight away. At around 9:00 p.m. the waiter actually came to our table and announced that they were now making the final rounds to see if we wanted to order anything else. Thank you for organizing my birthday party Copper Cauldron Hall on Saturday! All my guests from near and far, from Karlsruhe to Nuremberg and Bonn, were full of praise. The service was courteous and the chef presented a successful gourmet menu in a highly professional manner. We spent a wonderful evening in a great atmosphere. We would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the food is nothing special, but the prices are impressive, the service is nice, and the furnishings are slightly outdated. Another changing table in the men's toilet is exemplary. The location right next to the playground is ideal for families with children.

A general renovation would do the toilets in the basement some good. In the women's toilet, the lighting in the cubicles was also very economical. Otherwise highly recommended! There are play options for children outside and inside.

If you visit on a Saturday evening with a large group of people, you should lower your quality standards a little. Catastrophic! The service was unpleasant (“Have you chosen? Well, say so!”). The order, although repeated three times, arrived incomplete and the food was frankly average. They only wanted one thing: to close early. Why not consider closing altogether?

Fast drinks delivery. Very commendable. The food tastes good. Had wild garlic soup with bread from the daily menu. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your after-work beer out here. After-work beers from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. €3.40 instead of €4.80 (0.5L). I can only recommend the brewery.

Hello, I think it's a shame that there are no burgers and no Obatzter anymore. It's a shame. I'll have to look now to see where there are still restaurants, maybe in the Badische Brauhaus Stephanienstrasse OK

Food and staff subpar, location great

Lots of space and an almost pleasant beer garden. The food is okay, the rump steak is great, the Curywurst is terrible. A constant problem in my opinion...the very slow and often non-existent service...but they're all nice. All in all: you try alternatives every now and then and come back more often than you can find reasons for it.

So the spring beer tastes best. Always happy to drink.

I was there today.Jägerschnitzel, half an hour wait, okay I'll put up with it.But since it was lukewarm, tough and the sauce was totally tasteless, €15.50 for what I had it returned was less than OK. Side salad the same, overpriced for what it can't do. Drink beer, but the place is definitely not good for anything else...

Well, food at cafeteria level at restaurant prices. Own beer that tastes like nothing. Poured in a flash, mind you. Loud TV in the background. Not recommended.

The condition is always very good! The beer comes within a minute and the non-alcoholic tastes great!

I would never eat there, it just doesn't meet my expectations, so I can't rate the food. BUT I've been there four times now to dance! After the last 3 times it was clear to me that there is only one DJ Uwe Dien or something, he is terrible! Plays terrible music, doesn't respond to requests, is arrogant and says "people are dancing", but then I ask the people downstairs and most of them agree with me, the gentleman doesn't get that. Yes, we dance and have hope that the music will finally get better! Ok, so I'll never come, there are plenty of other locations. So now it was carnival, you can't go wrong, the flyer says FASCHING, 12€ entrance fee, let's go again (even though entry was free everywhere else)... AND THAT'S A RUDE! So many were disappointed, it was like an over 60 dance cafe but not a carnival! There were three songs that were just right! As I am, I asked a few people again and EVERYONE said the DJ is terrible! It wasn't a carnival! 75% will now know better. It wasn't as crowded as elsewhere! Then you say that the boss, who is also unfriendly, doesn't want to listen, etc... whatever, all I can say is, don't go, terrible and €12 for it, under false promises! I heard the SchmuDo was always full... guess what... THERE'S ANOTHER DJ! Well, if you want to go to Schlagertanzcaffee, you've come to the right place. If you want to celebrate Schlager songs or something else, you should go anywhere but there! Even in the Vogel it was 1000% atmosphere, great music, music requests, no entry fee, really well attended! #neverthisDJ again 🤬🤢

The service was very friendly and that was the only positive thing... you should add that if you offer lamb's lettuce on the special menu that there are walnuts on it, you wouldn't assume that, especially since I have a nut allergy. And the food in general didn't taste like anything and was only lukewarm. ...and to your answer it was just a flyer and wasn't on the menu and there was nothing about walnuts on it just for information

Food a la home cooking, solid and good, but nothing extraordinary

I was there for a company party in January. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were used. The size of the location was perfect and the different rooms were well used.

Nice restaurant and a great beer garden Freshly tapped and delicious beer! (I'm already looking forward to May) Waiter was nice and friendly. This time we had the giant schnitzel Everyone gets fed up with it.

Positive: We were there with a group. The food was very good. The lady who served us was very friendly. Negative: Unfortunately the room we had reserved was given over to another event. So we would have to sit somewhere else. It later became very cold at the new place. That will have us deciding to leave earlier

Very large restaurant, almost a hall. The service was friendly. The schnitzel portion was super big, but not really good. Price is good. Performance mixed. The fries weren't anything special either. Good for beer. Eating, well

Essen gut und "typisch Kneipe". Der Service ist freundlich und "auf Zack". Preislich am oberen Limit. Bier sehr lecker. Parkplätze und ÖPNV vor Ort. Im Sommer ein großer Außenbereich und Spielmöglichkeit für Kinder (im angrenzenden Park). Wir können gerne wieder.

Das Bier ist ortsbekannt und wirklich sehr, sehr lecker! Aus dem Grund waren wir das erste Mal mit Freunden zum Essen hier verabredet, da auch die Lokalität sehr schön ist...einmal und nie wieder! Der Service war wirklich gut, wie eben auch das Bier, doch Essen ist nicht empfehlenswert. Das Haschee war total versalzen, das Hackfleisch darin erinnerte von der Konsistenz her an das von Fertiggerichten aus dem Glas. Beim Jägerschnitzel war das Fleisch einfach nur trocken und zäh, die Champignons aus der Dose. Der Burger, naja, der Käse war schon fast durchsichtig und sah nicht sehr appetitlich aus. Alles in allem bekommt das jeder Zuhause besser hin. Für diese Qualität ist es zudem auch noch zu teuer. Sry, dass wir leider nichts besseres sagen können, wir waren einfach sehr enttäuscht.

Essen 5. Service 1. Bevor man den Gästen sagt das es heute nur eine Karte gibt sollte man schauen ob diese auch vollständig ist. In unserem Fall hat nämlich die Hälfte gefehlt und aufgrund dessen war der Besuch sehr frustrierend.
