Nicely cozy decor. Seating inside and outside. Friendly, attentive service. The beers and food were absolutely delicious.

We reserved a table here at short notice by phone. It also worked perfectly when it went to the answering machine. We had a very friendly waitress who enjoyed her work. The order was taken and the drinks and food came as ordered. There was also time for some fun with the waitress, as the kitchen was "broken", so I managed my big dark meal before the main course. The food was tasty and sufficient. I can only recommend goulash and chicken in a malt coating. Update 10/30/22 Today we were there without a reservation and were able to get a seat after a short time. Service was exemplary like the first time. Update 5/10/25 Today we were in Goslar again and were able to get a place. We had less success in December. Today everything was great again, the regular staff were very exemplary as always. The portions today were just a little clearer than usual. But I was satisfied, only a few more beans and potatoes could have been added to the beer roast.

This was our second time here with a larger group and unfortunately I am very disappointed. The beer is very good and the service is ok but the food wasn't good. The first time my fried potatoes were almost too salty. Now I had asparagus with potatoes and it was really not good because the portion was very small and the potatoes were very hard. The background noise is very loud and it was very crowded, which was also due to our large group. Conclusion: Great for drinking, maybe eat somewhere else.

Really nice brewery, great ambience and very friendly service. However, my goulash wasn't that great - the asparagus was woody and the schnitzel was just ok. All of the food was ok, but it lacked finesse, which could be done much better! We liked the home-brewed beer - the tasting set is recommended here.

Food and beer great as usual, but staff unsustainable. If you don't want to be a guest, but rather a supplicant for food and drink, this is the right place for you. It's a shame, it used to be really good.

Unfortunately the fried potatoes were extremely greasy and the dough made them a bit dry but they were soft and very juicy and the salad was quite good. Local cola and good non-alcoholic beer..

Today we had a wonderful lunch at Brauhaus Goslar with friends - and it was a complete success! The breaded schnitzel was perfectly prepared: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside – absolutely recommended! We also tried the local Rammelsberger Pilz, which tasted excellent with the food. The atmosphere in the brewery is cozy and authentic, the service is friendly and attentive. A great place to enjoy good food, delicious beer and great company. We'd love to come back!

The beer here is really good and traditional. They brew it themselves and it has a long history. I recommend it to all lovers of real beer...

We didn't have to wait long for the food, but it really wasn't very tasty. The service is friendly and the ambience is also very nice. I particularly like the play area for children. But somehow that doesn't help me if the food doesn't taste good

Absolute recommendation. Food above average in terms of price, performance and taste. Portion sizes more than sufficient. We will definitely remember the afternoon with such delicious food and top service. Child-friendly with play areas and we can only praise this house highly. One of the best addresses in Goslar. We were here on April 30th, 2025, although it was super full, we experienced perfect service regarding a food allergy, the food was incredibly tasty, the service staff had perfect make-up, everything was perfect. Places outside and inside. Just go there

I was a guest in beautiful Goslar and had a delicious beer. The restaurant is said to be famous for this. However, the waitress should also politely serve guests who only drink a beer. I even asked her about it and she became really unfriendly.

You will find this brewery restaurant in a beautiful, central location, where we enjoyed a delicious Gose Dunkel outside, and then the four of us had something to eat inside the restaurant. Even when it is busy, the kitchen is able to prepare the meal quickly, and then you can enjoy a beautiful traditional Schnitzel in an authentically decorated room. When you pay, you will discover that Goslar offers excellent food for a very reasonable price. This restaurant is definitely recommended

Rustic, beautiful house, food very tasty, service friendly and quick. We felt very comfortable.

Staff very friendly, food came very quickly and was delicious, varied menu, children's play area and even a little surprise for the children. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were at the brewery with two families on Easter Sunday evening and were completely satisfied. The food is great, the service is absolutely friendly and even the children didn't get bored thanks to the wonderful play area. All in all, I would always choose the Brauhaus over other restaurants we've been to (Die Butterhenne and Mizu).

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed, even though we were really looking forward to the evening. I had already made reservations for 11 people four months in advance, but we still had to push the tables together ourselves because two separate tables were reserved for us. Unfortunately, when we pointed this out, no waiter helped. Unfortunately, the food didn't really live up to our expectations: asparagus neither cooked through nor peeled properly, schnitzel hard, food not very seasoned and bland, goulash of poor quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so nice, we would have liked to stay longer, but then we left relatively quickly after eating.

Great food (and beer) at a reasonable price. The service was totally attentive, friendly and accommodating. Without a reservation, we were immediately seated at the high tables in the front area. Overall, an absolutely successful visit - we would love to come back!

The location is rustically furnished, the employees are very attentive, friendly and quick, without stress. It's obviously advisable to order a table...we were lucky. The food was really good, value for money was also completely ok. Definitely recommended and we will come back at some point.

The Brauhaus Goslar offers a very rustic ambience - just as you would expect in a brewery. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. When it comes to drinks, there are various types of local beer. The Rammelsberger Pils is definitely recommended. The culinary specialties are traditional and expected German cuisine. There is nothing wrong with the taste. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together, which is why you sometimes have involuntary neighbors while eating. We were lucky and had nice seat mates twice during the evening. 😉

Highly recommended! The pub is located nearby Tourist Center and offers an authentic experience and tasty fresh beer 🍺 and typical beer food. Important that there were vegetarian alternatives-celery schnitzel-which was very tasty. Waitress Jana was very friendly and kind 🌷

Spontaneous stop for three in the late afternoon. The restaurant was well attended and all tables were reserved for a later date. So we were lucky and were escorted straight to a table. Ordering was quick and drinks and food were on the table quickly. Service was quite friendly, but rather impersonal. The food was ok both in terms of taste and portion size. Price-performance absolutely fair!

Were there on a recommendation on April 25th and we were thrilled. The staff is very friendly and our waitress Jana was great. Super friendly to deal with and in a great mood. Some people in the catering industry could learn a lesson here. The food was mega.

We visited the Brauhaus Goslar spontaneously, the welcome from the staff was very friendly, as well as further operation. The atmosphere is very rustic. The food was excellent and the quantity was just right, and we also really enjoyed the beer. Overall, everything was perfect for us.

The brewery is worth a visit. Above all, the friendliness and courteous staff were outstanding. The changing area is even equipped with diapers, great!

Here you can still get regional, Harz cuisine. The quality of the food is very good, and the house Gose beer is excellent.

The restaurant in front of the cathedral has a nice atmosphere. The servers are also friendly. The food overall is a bit salty, but it's perfect to eat with beer. Did you season it to go with beer? There are two types of gose beer, a beer from the Gosla region, light and black, and both were tasty enough. I drank 0.3L dark beer and ordered 0.3L light beer, but I liked the dark beer better.

We stumbled across the brewery while looking for a family-friendly place to stop. It was one of the most relaxing restaurant visits we've ever had with our three-year-old. The Brauhaus Goslar has a well-equipped play and reading corner. Right next to it are the tables reserved for families with small children. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced despite the locally sourced organic meat. There is also a vegetarian and vegan option. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is the lack of accessibility, you have to climb a few steps and the toilets are on the upper floor. I don't want to break the bar about the restaurant here, the house is historic (and probably a listed building), so a barrier-free conversion is difficult to implement.

Das Ambiente ist ist , wie man es sich in einem Brauhaus vorstellt, rustikal gut . Am Wochenende sollte man besser einen Tisch reservieren. Die Gerichte der Speisekarte sind auch passend zum Lokal . Wir hatten den Schweinebraten und die Harzer Spezialitäten, beides zu empfehlen . Das Gose Alster schmeckt auch sehr gut . 👍

Really great food and highly recommended beer. We had beer roast with fried potatoes and beans, as well as a piece of leg of lamb with hash browns and beans and both were very tasty. It was very busy and the service was stressed. Reservations in advance were not accepted for the evening, but luckily we were able to get the table for 1 hour.

Ate delicious pea soup with a bockwurst, that was delicious. But the Gose beer surpassed that.

We were at the brewery as part of a Christmas party. My first confrontation with the waiter left us with looks of disbelief. When we were served our drinks, the waiter, without asking, touched my shoulder and said, “Not so greedy, my friend.” The background was that I wanted to jokingly “steal” the beer from the person sitting next to me. I find such a statement to be borderline. In addition, the etiquette of dining in such a restaurant should still be respected. Furthermore, I don't just touch customers. However, the hammer came when ordering the food. The “good-humoured” waiter with the beautiful tattoos approaches me and asks for my order. I ordered goulash soup as a starter. Suddenly he gets loud and gets upset in a snotty way about the fact that a little before he had asked at the head of the table if anyone would like to order an appetizer. This was denied to him there. He now has to delete the entire food order again. I told him that I hadn't heard his question because of a conversation and that he shouldn't make his problem mine. The answer I got was: “YOU are making this your problem.” After a brief excitement and subsequent horrified laughter, I was finally able to order my goulash soup. The food wasn't enough for me for the price. My schnitzel with hunter's sauce was a bit too small for the price. In total I had 5 small fried potato halves on the plate and a salad. Nothing special in terms of taste, but at least it was well prepared. What should be highlighted, at least for me, is the very tasty Gose beer. This appears to be a “home brew”. Hats off to that. All in all, unfortunately there was no tip. Such behavior should not be rewarded. When the waiter said “goodbye”, all I said was “probably not”. Kind regards to Goslar

Subterranean quality of food! It should have given me pause that 10 different dishes were served in 3 minutes, well shit happens, but the beer tasted pretty good. Needless to say, the food was very heavy on my stomach for another two days. Furthermore, I would be violating the guidelines if I said it was actually true. It's funny about freedom of expression 😉

The food is already over salted three times and I don't care in the slightest whether there is a lot of work to be done or not, maybe just season the sauces properly! That was impossible for us, squashed on the tables!

Anyone who likes typical food on holiday is in good hands here, from beer to food, very good Harz cuisine with products from the region. Well attended, rightly so. Long waiting times because full, none. Service was nice, attentive and quick. We were full and very satisfied overall. If you're in the area, you should stop by here!

Goulash met Spätzle wasn't available so took beef sausage with Sauerkraut and Bratkartoffeln. Menu wasn't easy to read so ordered extra for the starter (which wasn't complete; 2 of 3 things arrived). After mere 7 minutes after the starter arrived, the main course was alrdy served. Unfortunately everything on the plate was practically cold besides the meat. The sauce was tasty, the sausages were very dry, the potatoes were very very greasy.

Well; What can I say... the food was nothing to write home about. Very greasy, and relatively on the lukewarm side. The chicken was okay, the sausages as dry as the sole of a shoe.

Gemütliches Ambiente, absolut leckere Speisen und leckeres Bier! Gaststätte war voll besetzt, trotzdem waren Service und Wartezeiten moderat! Dazu kommt das junge und nette Team!!! Ein Besuch in Goslar, da gehört das Brauhaus einfach mit dazu!

I had a Jägerschnitzel, there was so much rosemary in the sauce that I wondered if the entire supply of rosemary in the Harz had been bought up. Schnitzel was good. Beer was delicious too. Sauce was ok if you like rosemary. If not then you have a problem.

We were here on vacation and came across the brewery by chance today. Seldom have we experienced something so hospitable and child-friendly. You immediately felt at home here with the great atmosphere! There is an extra play area for children, which is a huge plus point. The price for 3 children and 2 adults was really unbeatable and the food was plentiful and delicious. Thank you.

As soon as you enter the house you feel welcome, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even if you don't have a reservation, you can get to the table quickly. The service is warm and you feel at home. Even our Uschi got her special treat. We'd love to come back.

Very authentic restaurant with a regional concept for beer and food. We really liked it. The Rammelsberger Pilsner has a nice bitter note. The quality of the products used at the prices set is really very good. The service was on point and very friendly. It was also great that there was a small play area for children with lots of toys. It's a shame that it's come so far from Berlin ;)

Jedes Jahr machen wir unseren Weihnachtsurlaub in Goslar und jedes Jahr gehen wir ins Brauhaus, immer wieder sind wir begeistert vom Personal dem Essen und vor allem dem Bier. Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich verschieden, aber dieses Bier ist in meinen Augen das beste was ich bis jetzt getrunken habe. Die Lage und das Ambiente laden ebenfalls zu einem schönen Abend ein ich freue mich jetzt schon auf‘s nächste mal.

Five of us were there on Saturday evening, luckily with a reservation. The service was on point and friendly. When ordering the food we already expressed the desire that we wanted nice crispy fried potatoes. We ordered the beer roast with fried potatoes and beans. Unfortunately, after about an hour the food arrived lukewarm, bland and with fried potatoes that had probably only seen the pan for a very short time. I've never had such subterranean fried potatoes. On the positive side, after a complaint, the friendly service person brought us a bowl of fresh, crispy and well-seasoned fried potatoes. Why weren't these made like this in the first place??? The beer was very tasty.
