Brauhaus Goslar in Goslar

Ate delicious pea soup with a bockwurst, that was delicious. But the Gose beer surpassed that.

We were at the brewery as part of a Christmas party. My first confrontation with the waiter left us with looks of disbelief. When we were served our drinks, the waiter, without asking, touched my shoulder and said, “Not so greedy, my friend.” The background was that I wanted to jokingly “steal” the beer from the person sitting next to me. I find such a statement to be borderline. In addition, the etiquette of dining in such a restaurant should still be respected. Furthermore, I don't just touch customers. However, the hammer came when ordering the food. The “good-humoured” waiter with the beautiful tattoos approaches me and asks for my order. I ordered goulash soup as a starter. Suddenly he gets loud and gets upset in a snotty way about the fact that a little before he had asked at the head of the table if anyone would like to order an appetizer. This was denied to him there. He now has to delete the entire food order again. I told him that I hadn't heard his question because of a conversation and that he shouldn't make his problem mine. The answer I got was: “YOU are making this your problem.” After a brief excitement and subsequent horrified laughter, I was finally able to order my goulash soup. The food wasn't enough for me for the price. My schnitzel with hunter's sauce was a bit too small for the price. In total I had 5 small fried potato halves on the plate and a salad. Nothing special in terms of taste, but at least it was well prepared. What should be highlighted, at least for me, is the very tasty Gose beer. This appears to be a “home brew”. Hats off to that. All in all, unfortunately there was no tip. Such behavior should not be rewarded. When the waiter said “goodbye”, all I said was “probably not”. Kind regards to Goslar

Subterranean quality of food! It should have given me pause that 10 different dishes were served in 3 minutes, well shit happens, but the beer tasted pretty good. Needless to say, the food was very heavy on my stomach for another two days. Furthermore, I would be violating the guidelines if I said it was actually true. It's funny about freedom of expression 😉

The food is already over salted three times and I don't care in the slightest whether there is a lot of work to be done or not, maybe just season the sauces properly! That was impossible for us, squashed on the tables!

Anyone who likes typical food on holiday is in good hands here, from beer to food, very good Harz cuisine with products from the region. Well attended, rightly so. Long waiting times because full, none. Service was nice, attentive and quick. We were full and very satisfied overall. If you're in the area, you should stop by here!

Goulash met Spätzle wasn't available so took beef sausage with Sauerkraut and Bratkartoffeln. Menu wasn't easy to read so ordered extra for the starter (which wasn't complete; 2 of 3 things arrived). After mere 7 minutes after the starter arrived, the main course was alrdy served. Unfortunately everything on the plate was practically cold besides the meat. The sauce was tasty, the sausages were very dry, the potatoes were very very greasy.

Well; What can I say... the food was nothing to write home about. Very greasy, and relatively on the lukewarm side. The chicken was okay, the sausages as dry as the sole of a shoe.

I had a Jägerschnitzel, there was so much rosemary in the sauce that I wondered if the entire supply of rosemary in the Harz had been bought up. Schnitzel was good. Beer was delicious too. Sauce was ok if you like rosemary. If not then you have a problem.

I am appalled by this staff. We wanted to pay by card and were hit on down to the last detail.

As soon as you enter the house you feel welcome, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even if you don't have a reservation, you can get to the table quickly. The service is warm and you feel at home. Even our Uschi got her special treat. We'd love to come back.

We were here on vacation and came across the brewery by chance today. Seldom have we experienced something so hospitable and child-friendly. You immediately felt at home here with the great atmosphere! There is an extra play area for children, which is a huge plus point. The price for 3 children and 2 adults was really unbeatable and the food was plentiful and delicious. Thank you.

Very authentic restaurant with a regional concept for beer and food. We really liked it. The Rammelsberger Pilsner has a nice bitter note. The quality of the products used at the prices set is really very good. The service was on point and very friendly. It was also great that there was a small play area for children with lots of toys. It's a shame that it's come so far from Berlin ;)

Jedes Jahr machen wir unseren Weihnachtsurlaub in Goslar und jedes Jahr gehen wir ins Brauhaus, immer wieder sind wir begeistert vom Personal dem Essen und vor allem dem Bier. Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich verschieden, aber dieses Bier ist in meinen Augen das beste was ich bis jetzt getrunken habe. Die Lage und das Ambiente laden ebenfalls zu einem schönen Abend ein ich freue mich jetzt schon auf‘s nächste mal.

We were very satisfied!!!! Very nice and friendly staff; a great menu; the food was delicious and a MEGA PRAISE: VERY CHILD FRIENDLY!! Other restaurateurs could learn a lesson here. Five of us were there on Saturday evening, luckily with a reservation. The service was on point and friendly. When ordering the food we already expressed the desire that we wanted nice crispy fried potatoes. We ordered the beer roast with fried potatoes and beans. Unfortunately, after about an hour the food arrived lukewarm, bland and with fried potatoes that had probably only seen the pan for a very short time. I've never had such subterranean fried potatoes. On the positive side, after a complaint, the friendly service person brought us a bowl of fresh, crispy and well-seasoned fried potatoes. Why weren't these made like this in the first place??? The beer was very tasty.

Absolute recommendation!!! We have rarely had such good vegan/vegetarian food. The entire staff was so hard working, attentive and extremely family friendly. Big thanks to Gino and Sylvia. We've never experienced anything like this before. The children were very happy. There was a small play area and an extra family area. And extremely tasty beer. We ate there two days in a row and will definitely come back. Oh, there was also a surprise bag for the children.

Centrally located brewery with delicious food, super tasty beer and friendly service.

We were there on Friday around 6 p.m. and just managed to get a table. Better reserve. I really enjoyed the beer and the food was good too. A woman next to the table who was alone complained that the potatoes were only lukewarm and was a bit exuberant... I can only recommend that everyone say this right away and not after eating. Everything was right for us.

Every time we are in Goslar this is our go-to place for lunch. Delicious food!

We walked in and waited way too long for a table, only to be told everything was full. We were not offered a solution such as “Wait outside, we will call you when a table becomes available” or “We can also serve you the food outside”. We ended up sitting outside just for drinks but waited forever and no one came to take the order. Disappointed, we went to the next restaurant.

I went there to take a break on a motorcycle tour two years ago and came back this year. The food is delicious, the home-brewed beer is outstanding and the service is attentive, fast and friendly.

I am completely thrilled with our visit to the Goslar brewery. At the entrance it is indicated that this is a family-friendly restaurant. This turns out to be true... We were seated (without a reservation) in the family corner, where there is a well-stocked play area. The only drawback: the tables were a bit close together. When it came to cutlery, children's cutlery was thought of directly. 👏 The service was super friendly, always available and the food came very quickly! The food selection is great - lots of regional products and a great selection of vegetarian dishes and regional specialties. We liked everything very much - the potato slices (a nice alternative to the classic fries) and the deep-fried apple rings were particularly tasty! There are some specialties to take away, e.g. the home-brewed beer or crispy malt. We ordered two bags of this unusual snack and were given a sample portion straight away "in case we didn't like it". Very accommodating and nice ☺️ All in all really great, we will definitely come back!

A very cozy, family-friendly, relaxed inn with great food that was absolutely inexpensive for the quality. Already well filled at 6 p.m. on weekdays and apparently rightly so popular. We had an absolutely lovely evening with you!

On the occasion of my stay in Goslar (with a guest card), after exploring the city, I went to the "Brauhaus" for dinner (5 p.m.). Although no seat reservation had been made (strongly recommended for visits after 6:00 p.m.!!!), the very friendly waiter immediately assigned me and my partner two seats... located by the window, with a beautiful view of the promenade. The interior is rustic and good-bourgeois... heavy, massive furniture. It is a brewery (here you get the locally brewed Gose beer in various versions directly from the copper tanks). The menu offers a decent selection of hearty dishes. In addition to the home-brewed Gose beer, other types are also offered... of course also non-alcoholic ones. We ordered Knieste (baked potatoes with homemade cream, turkey strips and salad) as well as schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, fried potatoes and salad. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste, The portions can definitely be rated as generous. The price-performance ratio is not objectionable for today's times and the fact that Goslar is a tourist hotspot. My recommendation.

Actually I just wanted to escape from the rain, best decision! Very good food, the best fried potatoes ever, very tasty ice cream. It seems to me that people pay attention to good quality when purchasing. Very courteous service and a pleasant, albeit loud, crowd.

8:32 p.m Ambiance Brauhaus Goslar Disappointed across the board. Starting with the drinks order, the Alster and Cola were stale! The beer roast was completely laced with tendons, over-seasoned, lukewarm, fried potatoes were probably lying next to the pan, the side dish of beans was more than al dente and with ? Spicy, inedible. Cambert ok so far, side salad wilted, dry, very carelessly prepared. There was minimal dressing. Side dish of bread: probably 3 days old, plus a portion of butter that would have been enough for 6 slices. This is failure on every level!!! An insult to the palate for such a beautiful house

Typical brewery atmosphere. You feel good. The food is really tasty and the price/performance is great. Selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is more than sufficient. We really liked the selection of beers, which you could also taste, and the combination of individual food components so that you could try everything. If you like it hearty and rustic, this is the right place for you.

I really liked the Brauhaus Goslar in Goslar. I stopped there on the way back from Hamburg to Merzig. I liked the malty Gosen dark beer best there. And the beer roast in dark beer sauce (two slices) was also very tasty. It was a large enough portion. I heard that the bratwursts also tasted good. On my next visit to Goslar, when I'll spend a little longer to look at the beautiful old town, I'll stop there again.

Location in the centre of the aldstadt. Got a table at 6pm - the staff obviously have certain roles & maybe the reason why some negative reviews re the staff ??? The menu has a QR code inside the back page which gives you the menu in English Local brew house too, so got to try the local beer. Had a taster of 0.1 L of each to try - definitely the dark beer wins. Good menu choice, portions are a good size, service efficient. Enjoyed the food & drink - was our cheapest evening meal so far in Germany

Here I just drank a Gose, the Harz Urbier, before continuing on, very tasty beer! Great restaurant and pub, would have liked to eat the beer roast. Unfortunately I already ate before, but definitely next time!

Disappointing: the website advertises the "warm food until 8.30 p.m." Real was informed shortly after 8 p.m. that the kitchen had already closed at 8 p.m. Of course, I pointed out at the counter that we should adapt the website.

The international language skills of the staff are excellent and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. The selection of food is limited, but of the highest quality. The cuisine is excellent and deserves 100 out of 100 points. The ambience is also excellent due to the location of the restaurant. The beer is brewed on site and is of very good quality.

Var her til spisning og fik traditionelle egnsretter med gullasch suppe og henholdvis Wienerschnitzel og Jægerschnitzel, maden var lækker og schnitzler var meget fine og møre og MEGET store portioner så vi gik ikke sultne derfra 😉 Valgte trods det er ølbryggeri en lokal rødvin fra Hartzen til middagen og det var en god oplevelse, hertil en usædvanlig rar og venlig servering, hun gjorde besøget til en dejlig oplevelse og vi kommer tilbage igen næste gang vi er på besøg i Goslar.

Very nice setting with good beer and good food. Ordered a pork schnitzel and with some extra beer sauce (incredible sauce) it tasted amazing. The gose is a must try, very mild and not a sour beer like it is in Leipzig (which is also tasty).

The rating for drinks is missing. And that is optimal. Gose light, Gose dark, Rammelsberger Pils and the special beer of the month, e.g. the Odinator - directly from the master brewer.

Chicken in malt breading with beer sauce, the best thing I've eaten in a restaurant in a long time! The fried potatoes are also very good!

Everything just fits, price performance friendliness to a high degree. A big plus because moms come to eat sometimes, extra large play area and lots of space. Definitely coming back. Sanitary facilities great and great ambience from rustic to refreshingly new.

Hello everyone, The Brauhaus Goslar can only be recommended! We (with wife and dog) were there on Thursday July 18th, 2024. It was super sunny and busy. The dog immediately got something to drink and of course we did too! 🤣👍 The service was super quick and super friendly! The bratwurst with sauerkraut is a hit! Verschrikkelijke bediening. Erg arrogant en duidelijk geen zin in het gastvrij zijn. We werden totaal genegeerd en later zelfs onheus bejegend. Nog nooit meegemaakt in Duitsland!
