Brauerei-Gasthof Schmidt Bräu in Schwandorf

Wir hatten ein tolles Erlebnis vor Ort. Großes Lob an den Betreiber und seiner Frau. Eine der wenigen Gaststätten wo man merkt, es wird mit herzblut gearbeitet und der Kunde steht auf der ersten Stelle. Preis-Leistung ist auch hervorragend. Einfach nur zu empfehlen!

Hat leider nichts mehr mit einen Brauerei Gasthof zu tun. Ist eine Mischung aus Kroatischen Restaurant und Pizzeria. Pizza war sehr gut. Leider war der Fleischspieß nicht so gut gelungen. Das Fleisch war zu trocken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell.

Waren heute mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort. Personal sehr nett, Essen super lecker. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Also diese Küche ist schon grandios lecker , egal welches von den vielen Gerichten - mega lecker und freundlicher Service sowieso 🤗🤗🤗 immer einen Besuch wert

Sehr nettes Gasthaus, mit sehr nettem Personal. Die Atmosphäre innen ist etwas kühl gestaltet. Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber leider war es eine sehr kleine Portion, satt wurden wir nicht, es gab Spargel mit Schnitzel und 3 halben Kartöffelchen. Das Bier war lecker. Ist eher etwas für den kleinen Hunger, aber dann auch lecker. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt aber.

TOP Adresse - Glutenfrei essen mit viel Herz und Verständnis! Ich vertrage aus gesundheitlichen Gründen kein Gluten und gehe daher nur sehr selten essen. Schon am Telefon wurde ich unglaublich freundlich beraten und mir wurde versichert, dass man mir etwas glutenfrei zubereiten kann. Im Restaurant wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und der Inhaber hat mir sogar extra eine glutenfreie Bratensoße zum Schweinebraten gemacht und mir frischen, ebenfalls glutenfreien Rotkohl empfohlen. Das Essen war geschmacklich ein Traum und ich hatte danach keinerlei Beschwerden. Für Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit eine absolute Empfehlung – so viel Verständnis und Engagement erlebt man selten!

It's rare to find such friendly and competent staff as at this restaurant. All of our special requests (for celiac disease, vegan, and vegetarian) were fully met. The dishes we ordered were exceptionally delicious. We would be happy to return.

I visited my in-laws this weekend, and we had dinner here. I don't usually like eating out, as I'm unfortunately limited in my eating habits due to an illness. However, this was the first time that my illness was not only taken seriously, but even fully understood. Everything was taken care of without me having to ask a single question – I've never experienced anything like that before. Even the toddler we brought along was served an uncooled drink without us having to ask. Such attention and foresight is truly something you can't take for granted. If I had to find something to criticize, it would be that the decor seemed a bit ambiguous in one spot – but I personally found it rather amusing.

A truly cozy restaurant, as you'd expect. You can choose between German and Croatian cuisine. The waiters love their job, and you can tell! The chefs do too, because the food is delicious. The portions are just the right size, and the prices are fair. We were there last Saturday. We wanted to make a reservation by phone, but unfortunately, no one answered after two calls. And surprise (I've never experienced this before), we received a very friendly call back. The young man on the phone couldn't promise us anything, but he said we should try our luck in two hours. That alone was reason enough to go. We had a lovely evening and can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

I was there yesterday and had to watch as the waitress told a long-time regular customer that she didn't want to serve him because she didn't like a Google review. The waitress was the owner's wife, which is actually quite sad. This isn't the Schmidtbräu I know, a place I've been a frequent guest at since I was a child.

To sum it up: Good food, full, and happy! Despite the busy place, the service was great, warm, and attentive. You simply feel welcome here!

😅 I've already reviewed the food and I'll stick to that: Boris does a great job. But: it is and will remain a business dominated by a woman who is only interested in full tables and sales. That fake smile on her face will remain. Well, because of my first comment, I was no longer served on August 7th and was told to leave the restaurant. I was there with family, and in front of everyone, family and my table neighbors, there was a discussion that I personally found enjoyable. At least other guests got to see how certain people here tick. 🤷 Well, my little granddaughter cried (4 years old), but thank goodness she left the restaurant. It's a shame for Boris; he was always really nice, but only since the changes in service have it become a profit-hungry business 🤗

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food; I would have loved to have eaten there after a 160-km bike ride. Despite having free tables outside, I was sent away with the citation "lack of capacity in the kitchen." However, I could have ordered takeout, or other guests had ordered by phone. However, Pizzeria Piccolino does a great job and makes delicious pizzas. This behavior is a real shame.

We arrived there for dinner on a bus. We received a very friendly welcome and were seated inside. Ordering drinks was very quick, and they were brought right away. We had ordered our food in advance, so it was also very quick for us to get our food. It tasted good and there was plenty of it. I can recommend this restaurant.

First I want to share how absolutely amazing the service is here. We stopped here on a whim, just to experience an unplanned town and this place was beyond our expectations. Our server Niko was polite and did an amazing job translating for us, he absolutely did not have too. Niko was attentive and gave amazing recommendations. We ordered 3 items. Cordon Blue, schnitzel with gravy and rigatoni bolognese. It’s rare to find a place where everything is delicious. This place did not disappoint. Please stop in and experience it for yourself.

We went to this restaurant based on reviews and were not disappointed. As campervans, we travel around a lot and can only recommend this place! We received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. A very pleasant atmosphere, super nice family business. My husband had the grill plate, I had the pola pola. We really enjoyed it, it was beautifully presented and the waiting time was short. I was overjoyed that there was a side salad with the dishes, unfortunately this is no longer a given. We also got full. There was also beer 🍺 on tap, pleasant and tasty. At the end we were offered a schnapps or espresso on the house. Price/performance is definitely right here! Thank you for the pleasant hours, we'll be back!

Went for dinner in the first week of November. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating, and the boss also asked if everything was OK. The dishes (fried liver and minced meat with sheep's cheese) were excellent and plentiful.

We have been living here for three years now and have immediately fallen in love with the inn. The family is just super nice and super friendly. At least you still know what it means, the customer is king. They always try very hard and are committed to fulfilling everyone's wishes. Last night we ordered two plates for a birthday. And of course this was implemented by everyone, according to their own wishes and ideas. These were intended for five people. And we got two great records for what felt like eight people. The food was really very tasty and great. Thank you. We keep coming back.
