Brasserie in der alten Kirche in Bad Liebenstein

The worst Greek restaurant I've ever been to! The one star I have to give is for the very friendly waiter. The chicken breast in Metaxa sauce tasted of absolutely nothing... certainly not like Metaxa sauce. The platter I had was almost cold and the meat was tough. It didn't taste very good either. All in all: terrible value for money! And to top it all off, the payment... They supposedly accepted card payments. The presumed owner briefly held the card reader up to me, remarking: "Only EC cards!" Neither Visa nor today's debit cards would work. I find this "place" suspicious and can only advise everyone: Go to any other restaurant in Bad Liebenstein, but not here!

We were at the restaurant today and were absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was also outstanding: friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and very inviting. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates high quality and excellent service!

Despite pre-ordering, the number of people was incorrect, and the food, including the meat and sauce, was unfortunately cold. The pork tenderloin was as tough as shoe leather, which is only achievable with tenderloin by repeatedly reheating it. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and very nice and friendly service! Highly recommended!
