Super nice employees and our food came really quickly. The classic tarte flambée was very tasty, while the goat cheese salad was a bit too small or too little for me personally. But still totally delicious, of course. I always like to come back :)

The portions are incredibly small, for €20 per dish I would expect more - we were hardly full!

Food is delicious, but it doesn't fill you up. I had the juicy spit roast and it was tasty but you can't get enough of it. You get a big plate with salad and a good portion of mashed potatoes and then you look for the spit roast, such a small portion. For 20 euros I feel like I've been ripped off.

Two of us went to the breakfast buffet at Bote Veit on Sunday morning. Had reserved a table. Were received very friendly. The selection and quality of the food and drinks were very good!!! The hot drinks such as coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc. were brought by the waitress. Can recommend this location without reservation.

We had breakfast at Bote Veit, a really wide range of options, individual needs were catered for, everything was really delicious. Service was very friendly, even if a bit unsure at times, but no master has fallen from heaven yet. The friendliness makes up for it all.

The quick service, even without a reservation, was really quick. The food was really very tasty but sometimes a bit overpowering in terms of salt content, so you could be a little more careful - the guest can add more seasoning. The fried potatoes were prepared and served to the guest, unfortunately a bit too soggy - but that's a matter of taste. Overall, the price is a bit too high for what you get. Despite everything, it's worth recommending and I would visit this place again. Realistically speaking, I give it a total of four stars (with ambience, toilets, cleanliness) with a tendency towards three stars (average).

I've been trying to reach someone by phone since 5 p.m. to make a reservation...I've called over 20 times...it can be stressful, but consistently??? However, staff should take the time to answer calls. After all, you want to fill the hut permanently, right?

My beef roulade was a poem. I'm still wondering how the sauce thickened. All in all, a successful dinner. Everyone was happy and fed up.

It is ideal for larger groups (bowling club, working lunch, etc.), but it quickly becomes too loud for lively conversations on a small scale.

There is good food here at a low price...we really like being here, especially in the summer when you can sit outside.

Children, if you don't know where you can have a nice meal. Come to Bote Veit, great food, great people in the service area and everything at reasonable prices. SUPER...

Colleagues were already sitting on the terrace and had ordered. The sandwiches they had looked good. I order a coffee, which arrived after 20 minutes when we already had to leave for our train. There were only 8 tables set on the terrace and they were packed with 3 people. I sent the coffee back and then refused to pay. The lady with red hair then cursed me out. Never here again

If you want to have a quick bite to eat and drink during work, this is the place to be. Fast operation. But they also know that we usually only have an hour. That will also help. Food is good and the selection is varied. But you can also come here for coffee and something to eat.

After we had already had a few amusing "waiter experiences" at "Laufend Appetit", we found a very nice conclusion here. Westphalian Alt and Altbierbowle for the four of us came promptly from the top service. She also collected and cleared things outside. The owner can be very happy to employ such employees. If you're there at 3 p.m. and ask at 3:25 p.m. whether you can finally order... it wasn't crowded at all today and the waitress saw that we were sitting down... That's not good But when your dinner arrives at 3:45 p.m. Apple strudel with a scoop of ice cream and the ice cream is already melted over the plate, you have to be annoyed... We eat out a lot. Here's a special feature. A young employee took special care of me (a dry alcoholic). She made sure that no alcohol was used in my food and asked the chef several times. Special service, not everyday but just great. The food itself was perfect, the atmosphere was great and we are guaranteed to come back

Today we had lunch at Bote Veit's. We received a very friendly welcome and had, so to speak, a free choice of tables. Ordering drinks and food went pretty quickly. The food was served in a fairly short time. The plates looked small at first but I have to honestly say that the food was very filling and, above all, very tasty. At this point, a big compliment to the friendly and courteous service staff. We'd love to come back.

I went to Bote Veit for the first time with friends. I had a salad with strawberries and asparagus. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with this one: it only consisted of iceberg lettuce, two asparagus spears (one white and one green), 4 strawberries, otherwise quite a few peppers and little dressing. Everything was very bland and not a highlight in terms of taste. But when we asked, we got extra dressing. I also ordered fries, which were very tasty, as were the dips. All in all, I would compare the location with the Extrablatt or the Bar Celona. Just nothing special.

Bote Veit is a very nice and modern restaurant where you can spend a great evening in a cozy atmosphere. We (a large group of training participants from Mathias Spital) are now there for the second time, during our time in Rheine. Unfortunately, this time a very disappointing situation arose in that one of us received one with meat instead of a vegetarian menu, even though we had specifically requested it. Instead of a vegetarian schnitzel, it was one with chicken. Since the vegetarian products are sometimes very similar to those containing meat, it was not noticed immediately, but only after half the plate had been eaten. Anyone who eats meat-free for various but especially ethical reasons will understand how disappointing and stressful this can be. The price of the meal was not refunded, even if a new meal had to be ordered, which was also paid for. That's not very customer oriented!

We went there for breakfast and overall it was really good! Good selection, also for the vegetarians/vegans among us. The point of deduction or a suggestion for improvement: 1) Water at the buffet, because you have to buy that separately. You can simply offer tap water, or order sparkling water separately on the menu. 2) the whole fish, including the head and eyes, which can be gutted on the spot, is really difficult to endure for people who don't eat animals (as we know, the proportion of them is increasing). Of course there is also meat etc. at a buffet, but that really doesn't have to be the case. Otherwise we were very satisfied :-)

It's a shame that the terrace is only attended to after calling. Breakfast, which costs significantly less for all colleagues without salmon (I don't like it), now costs the full price. Strange - even stranger, the young woman doesn't ask, but that's just the way it is. The next breakfast won't take place here, which is a shame because I came regularly. We (4 adults with 2 small children (1 and 2)) stopped for lunch while passing through. A high chair was brought to us straight away and we received a very friendly welcome. The food order for the children was placed directly with the drink order so that the kids could eat first. The food and drinks came quickly. We all ordered something different and the food was sensational. I had beef rolls with red cabbage, my child had mashed potatoes with fish fingers. The mashed potatoes were freshly mashed and I have never had anything as tasty as it tastes at home in a restaurant. As a family, we can warmly recommend the restaurant because the kids are really taken into consideration here. The staff was super friendly. If we are in Rheine again, we will definitely come by.

Delicious food at fair prices with very friendly service.

We went there for the first time today and you have to say it is a nice restaurant with a very good atmosphere. The service was very nice My wife had the spaetzle and I had the meatloaf burger and we have to say the food was great. Drinks homemade lemonades also perfect. 5 stars are therefore deserved and we will be back.

Staff very friendly. Eat quickly. Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes. What I mean by a schnitzel is something different. Pressed meat out of the box. Catastrophe. Fried potatoes, worst I've ever had. Potatoes that are only washed and cooked in oil are a disgrace. If a menu, food should be so super culinary. As a customer, I should be able to expect more.

Very tasty brunch, with freshly squeezed juice and a juicer to make your own smoothies. Hot drinks are also included for 19.90. Highly recommended !

Were there for dinner. I had schnitzel Viennese style. It was obviously frozen food from a discounter, fries had to be ordered separately. Accordingly only 1 star for the food. It's a shame, we expected more given the overall pretty good reviews.

I had a really positive experience at this restaurant! The service was very nice, the restaurant was clean and tidy. The WiFi connection was excellent, especially for remote workers like me. And not to forget, the avocado toast was absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back. 😊👍

To be honest, I casually ordered currywurst with fries and a cocoa Cocoa has a nice taste. Unfortunately the currywurst wasn't really good.

We had a pretty good breakfast here, but we found the selection on the menu to be very spartan! Maybe you could reconsider that! The staff was super friendly and attentive! We had a lovely morning!

Ein sehr Schönes Restaurant. Wir haben hier schon Gefrühstückt und warme Mahlzeiten gegessen. Es hat immer gut geschmeckt und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Klassische und moderne Speisen in zentraler Lage und mit normalen bis günstigen Preisen (Burger mit Pommes bei ca. 13 Euro, Currywurst und Pommes ca. 10 Euro). Nettes Personal, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Erinnert etwas an Lokale wie das "Extrablatt".

Gute Auswahl und gute Atmosphäre

Kann man machen wenn man Bock hat. Das Wienerschnitzel ist besser als wo anders aber könnte mehr sein. Allerdings ist es auch nicht teuer. Vielleicht sollte man eine große Portion anbringen für adipöse Kunden wie mich. Dazu dann einen Sack oder Trog voll Bratkartoffeln.

Das Essen ist lecker und für mich, die keine Geschmacksverstärker essen darf, sehr bekömmlich. Ich kann bedenkenlos alles essen. Der Service ist sehr gut und das Ambiente ist auch sehr angenehm.

Einfache Küche, "Das Übliche" basierend auf dem Sortiment des Großhandel, also was man woanders (z.B "Täglich", "Extrablatt") auch bekommt, d.h. die üblichen Industrie-Buns , Fertig-Patties, 08/15-Salat, etc... Allerdings solide zubereitet und serviert, sehr guter Service auch im Außenbereich, alles in allem für den äußerst niedrigen Preis also durchaus Okay... Nichts für höhere Ansprüche, aber man kann schön draußen sitzen und eine angenehme Zeit haben

Leider war das Essen Gerade noch durchschnittliche.. Zwiebelfleisch trocken, unsere Gäste haben entschieden sich nicht zu beschweren.. Leberkäse war auch nicht super aber Okay, Bratkartoffeln war lecker sowie der Nachtisch. Bedingungen top kann ich nichts dagegen sagen,deshalb und nur deshalb haben die ein guten Trinkgeld bekommen.

Teilweise etwas lange Wartezeit, aber das gleicht sich durch das gute Essen und den freundlichen Service wieder aus.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort. Unfassbar lecker, super schönes Ambiente und ein sehr sehr netter, junger Herr als Bedienung. Die Preise sind in Ordnung und wir mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten, obwohl wir mit acht Personen vor Ort waren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!
