One service person for 20 people or more is not enough. She was simply overwhelmed. Some of our group complained about the food. There is no need for another visit on our part.

The food, the ambience and the staff including the kitchen are simply top notch. It tasted delicious and the price-performance ratio was simply great. We have been here again for a long time and it has improved a lot thanks to the new operator. We wish the operating team a lot of success and always a full restaurant. We'll definitely be back soon.

We were spontaneously cycling today and stopped here. They were very friendly and it tasted good too. We'll be back 😀

It continues...the Merseburg boathouse has reopened with a new operator. There was an offer week, all main dishes for 10€ and we enjoyed it very much. We wish the new innkeepers much success and always satisfied guests. See you soon... We were back in the boathouse and I have to say, it tasted very good, friendly and fast staff and a top chef! The decoration in the guest room is bright and friendly and the chair covers create a pleasant ambience. Gladly again. Riding the bike and taking a break in the beer garden. Black Köstritzer on tap and Aperol Spritz in this wonderful weather...mhhhh. Freshly grilled food at reasonable prices and at the end a little gift from the house. Absolutely recommended.

So I find it really ridiculous that you don't write an exact date when a closed event was there on two days and the date would simply be converted.

Schnitzel was good. But not any more. Roughly summarized, you can say: a schnitzel stall with a view of the Saale. Beautiful rooms with potential (old furnishings), service catastrophic. Our friend's reservation was not entered. After we were seated at the table, we were left to our own devices. There were about 45 people in the entire restaurant, 3 waitresses. They didn't manage to bring the menus or offer drinks themselves. We requested this ourselves after 40 minutes. Order for food after 1 hour!!! Then it went quickly - 20 minutes, but was served incorrectly (e.g. vegetables were missing, but an unwanted sauce that was clearly canceled when ordered). As I said, schnitzel was good. I left the rest behind. I can't say anything about the bill, we were invited - but it wasn't worth the prices in the menu!

Big praise for the entire team! We, my colleagues and boss, were in the boathouse for the first time today. From the reservation, to the food, to the very friendly and quick service, other restaurants can learn a lesson. Thank you very much for the lovely evening and we would love to come back. Keep it up! Thank you very much for the delicious lunch buffet at Easter... it was very tasty and there was enough of everything... Unfortunately there are a few things to complain about, but you can only grow with criticism. What bothered me personally was the VERY Cramped seating, perhaps individual tables would have been better to have a little more privacy. There is still a bit of room for improvement in the selection of desserts. Unfortunately, with so many people, the small fruit plate was a bit meager and I can eat pudding + red jelly at home...I wish there was a little more in a restaurant.

The lunch was very tasty, the service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. We liked it and would like to come back. Thank you!

You actually expect one or two fish dishes from the boathouse. As a menu you get a printed sheet with 5 dishes. Most of which were schnitzel and steak. Nothing for vegetarians. The ambience wasn't bad per se, and the service was also very friendly. However, if I want to eat a really good schnitzel, I go to the Schnitzelhütte in Meuschau and get a schnitzel there, which completely convinces me.

Yesterday we went to the boathouse and had something to eat - I can only recommend it, the service was very nice and the food was good and plentiful. We will go there more often from now on. Thanks again to Sven and his great team 😜👍👍

We ate at the boathouse for the first time today and will definitely come back. The food was excellent, we really liked the small menu and its selection. We look forward to our next visit. Big plus point: plenty of parking spaces

Creepy ! Atmosphere like a train station toilet! Service also like a tramp. Half of the rather sparse map is not there. Not recommended!

We went to the Bootshaus Merseburg for dinner on Boxing Day. We actually wanted to eat a la carte, but we were then told that there was a buffet. Maybe it would still be okay. The food itself was only lukewarm. It must have been standing for a long time. The meat looked and tasted terrible. There was no longer any starter soup, red cabbage, kale or mixed vegetables. When we asked, we were told that there was nothing left to refill. Of course the fruit plate was also empty. A disgrace for the money. Unfortunately a total failure. We were upset about this and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

We ate here on Christmas Day and I have to say that the new owner Sven Weber has outdone himself. To our surprise, instead of a menu, there was a buffet with a wide selection of Christmas dishes. There was something for everyone and as always it tasted wonderful. It was also thanks to the nice conditions that it was a lovely and successful evening. We'd love to come back.

Eine sehr gute Adresse, nur eines muss ich bemängeln: 5 Euro für eine Tasse Kaffee - das ist zu viel.

Hello everyone, in the past you could always come here spontaneously on the weekend. Reasonable prices for good food, delicious cakes, good coffee. It is only open on weekends. Even then, it's a matter of luck not to find a closed event here. Apparently it's no longer worth it or there are other unknown reasons. Try your luck, we're giving up starting today.

Wir haben Karfreitag hier gegessen. Trotzdem wir zu spät zur Reservierung kamen, wurden wir sehr freundlich aufgenommen und im Wintergarten platziert. Das Essen war sehr lecker, es ging mega schnell, und der Ausblick auf die Saale...wunderbar. Vielen Dank, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Niedliches Restaurant, etwas abgelegen. Bedienung sehr freundlich, Essen war wirklich gut und schnell zubereitet. Man spürt die persönliche Note des Koches. Wir waren spontan nach einem Spaziergang mit der Familie dort eingekehrt und haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben eine kleine Weihnachtsfeier gemacht und vorab Bestellt. Hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.

Es war so still und die Saale floß an uns vorbei es sollten mehr Gäste dort hin finden großer Parkplatz sehr idyllisch und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt .....

Sehr gute Küche und freundliche Gastgeber. Wir haben hier 2015 unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war wunderschön und hat allen Gästen sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr empfehlenswert. 12.06.2022. Waren heute endlich wieder nach langer Zeit hier essen. Es hat sich nichts geändert. Essen super, Gastgeber super. Ich glaube auch, daß sich Frau Sommer in der Lokalität geirrt hat. Immer noch sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich bin gerne hier, erinnere mich immer gern an alte Zeiten.

Diese Gaststätte kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Service ist sehr gut und das Essen auch .

Wir sind dort Stammgäste. Sehr leckeres Essen und alle Gerichte werden mit essbaren Blumen verziert. Lassen keine Wünsche offen und sind sehr herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
