Modern restaurant in Tegel. Very good food and friendly staff. Price-performance is right. Have been there several times and have not been disappointed. Would love to come back.

I've eaten at your place many times and always love it, which really annoys me. That it often tastes different. So please put all the cooks at one stove and they should all do it the same way' e.g. chicken curry 🍛 that's why it's only 3 stars 🌟 something like that annoys me, I'm looking forward to the chicken curry, which was so delicious and then it comes to my house and it tastes like shit, because it wasn't cooked like it usually is!! Or do you change your chefs every day?

We ended up here in search of an atmospheric restaurant with a varied menu. The menu is very varied, tasty and not everything spicy, but very differently seasoned.

We were there with colleagues, we ate well and had a nice chat. Everyone was very happy with the main courses. Prices are really good. Indian dessert wasn't great, but something new will come along in the summer. Restaurant is also wheelchair accessible! We will definitely go there again.

We probably didn't have the best day, there were six of us and as soon as we ordered we were reprimanded in a commanding tone about how the gentleman wanted the order to be, as one person asked a question in between. The food was okay, but the portions were very small and selected (in each meal, curry etc. there were only 5 pieces of meat and that at these prices). Unfortunately the rice was only lukewarm. We expressed our criticism constructively, but unfortunately all we received was a shrug of the shoulders. Too bad The ambience is nice and modern, but for me personally it was too big and uncomfortable and it was drafty because we were sitting near the door.

I just ordered vegetarian online... and have to compare my food with ready-made food and lack of imagination paired with over-cooked pamper... I've never eaten such bad Indian food - at least there's a price for that - it's a shame that the Indian restaurant on Brunowstrasse is gone. ..that was freshness, diversity and Indian cuisine! I threw away 3/4 of the food...unfortunately I have to give 1 star to be able to post

It's my second visit but the experience remains the same because the owner (who introduced himself as the owner of the restaurant) was once again extremely unfriendly. On the first visit, I thought his behavior might be due to stress - even though the restaurant was empty and only my friends and I were there as guests. However, today I experienced the same rude and distant behavior. Last time there was also an employee who accidentally dropped cutlery on my cell phone and neither apologized nor responded in a friendly manner. Instead she looked at me very unfriendly. Because of these repeated bad experiences, I will not visit this restaurant again.

Very pleasant restaurant. The atmosphere was fine and the service was great. The soup I had was super but main meal although it was supposed to be hot and spicy was very bland. Shame as it looked so good.

After our favorite Indian restaurant in Tegel unfortunately closed after years, we tried it here in the summer. What can I say, TOP!!! We always eat the same dishes, they always taste great and the quality is right. Which is an important point for us (restaurateurs ourselves). Staff super friendly and accommodating. The boss is very personable. Clean shop and cozy. Please keep it up :-)

Very nice restaurant visit with 15 people. Food was great, very friendly staff, service excellent. 1/2 point deducted / 4.5 stars because we sat in the quiet backyard with 15 people. There were unused tables/chairs standing around there, destroying the souvenir photo. Otherwise we really liked it. We would love to come back 👍

The quality of the food is consistently positive, but not outstanding. The service is friendly and attentive, the waitresses are helpful. I find the background music to be a bit too loud for a restaurant, which can occasionally be perceived as stressful. The ambience is okay, but it's a matter of taste. The prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately I have to criticize the food, it was definitely too sweet and too unaromatic for the price, the side salad was bland and carelessly cut. When we informed the waiter, or rather the head waiter, of our impression that the main course was too sweetly seasoned, we were asked to adopt a different attitude in an extremely senior manner, sometimes with incorrect translations of the Indian words... very unpleasant. I know several Indian restaurants all over Berlin, but this one is extremely expensive and stingy with standards. This is probably common for Tegel.

Wow...really unique and the best Indian restaurant in Tegel. I already know the concept from Friedrichstrasse, where the cooking and catering is done at the same level. I always enjoy coming here. Always good, always fresh, always tasty and friendly service.

We loved chana masala. Tried Lamb vindaloo and Butter chicken, which was just usual Berlin style. Place has wheelchair accessible restroom.

Very attentive and friendly staff. We had dishes from the lunch menu. The food was excellent and delicious. The portions weren't too small and we were really full. There are 2 outdoor areas. A large area in front of the restaurant and a small one in a back yard. The interior is very warm and comfortable.

The Bombay Tegel Indian Restaurant in Berlin is the best and most beautiful Indian restaurant in the city. As soon as you enter, you feel welcome thanks to the cozy furnishings and warm atmosphere. The menu offers a wide selection of Indian dishes. The Battura Bread, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Sabzi, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Curry are particularly delicious. The spices are perfectly balanced and the food always tastes fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are happy to give recommendations and make you feel comfortable. The prices are also fair and the portions are generous. Overall, Bombay Tegel is a great choice for anyone who loves Indian food. Every visit becomes a special experience.

So the food is too sober for my wife and me... all the typical spices are missing I had a meal with chili and there wasn't much to notice!! Service was nice and friendly (but unfortunately not enough)

A very nice ambience and great, courteous service invites you to eat here. The dishes here were delicious, freshly prepared and well seasoned, and there was also a small side salad with every meal. Price performance and portion are the same here, and there is also a terrace on the pedestrian passage.

For me it's not the best Indian restaurant in Berlin as some people rate it here. Found our dishes to be a bit bland in taste. Average and ok, lunch menu at a reasonable price, service attentive, interior too full of tables and chairs for me. But it's all a matter of taste ;)!

The food was very good, the staff very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is actually very cozy, but that evening there was a large group in the back who were so loud that we had to change seats.

We visited Bombay for the first time today and loved it! A nice restaurant, great service and very good food! At lunchtime there is a cheap lunch. Everything was really perfect and we would love to come back!

Vom Essen her das beste indische Essen was man in Tegel bekommen kann. Allerdings, entgegen der bisherigen Rezensionen, war der Service eher kühl und zurückhaltend. Sie haben halt ihren Job gemacht, nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Getränke waren in Ordnung und das Ambiente ist eher neutral. Nicht liebevoll eingerichtet aber zweckmäßig.

Der Mittagstisch war richtig gut. Preis , Leitung stimmt.

Das Bombay ist ein echter Zugewinn für die Restaurant Szene in Tegel. Hier bekommen wir regelmäßig, geschmacklich erstklassige und vor allem frisch zubereitete indische Speisen. Es ist schwer euch EIN tolles Gericht zu nennen, den wir lieben viele ihrer Angebote. Auf den Bildern seht ihr „Lamb Hyderavadi“ - die Minznote überrascht positiv und „Malay Kofta“ - ganz hervorragend kombinierte vegetarische Bällchen. Das Ganze wird serviert von dem herzlichen und sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Es bleibt immer noch ein Moment Zeit für einen Plausch, was wir sehr schätzen. Das Ambiente ist offen gehalten und indisch modern eingerichtet. Wir kommen immer wieder.

Es ist ein schönes Lokal. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, dass Essen sehr lecker Nur eine Anmerkung: Was mir nicht so gut gefällt ist, die Musik ist eindeutig zu laut. Bei einem Geschäftsessen muss man sich "anschreien", geht gar nicht. Und zum Schluss würden wir schon fast "rausgeschmissen",die Angestellten wollten nach Hause. Sollte man nicht machen, man bezahlt schon eine Menge und will gemütlich sitzen ohne das das Licht ausgeht, wenn man auf die Toilette noch möchte.🥴

Durch Zufall stießen wir auf dieses unheimlich tolle Restaurant. Uns wurde die Tür zum Eintreten aufgehalten - ein erstes positives Zeichen für den ungewohnt freundlichen, zuvorkommenden Service. Die Preise sind günstig bis angemessen. Das Mittagessen ist definitiv günstig, inklusive einer sehr leckeren roten Linsensuppe und selbstgemachtem indischen Brot. Die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell aufgenommen und alles sehr zügig zubereitet und gebracht. So wünsche ich mir Service! Definitiv empfehlenswert!
