Staying in Berlin and went out for evening supper. The smell coming from the place was great. Good veggie choices and something a bit different from usual curry houses. The staff were really attentive. Big portions, lovely fluffy rice and variety of heat/spice for variety. Whilst we didn't eat any meat, there seemed a fair selection. Would recommend.

I went for the brunch that they have especially on sundays.The idlis were soft, fluffy, and perfectly steamed, paired with a deliciously tangy sambar and fresh coconut chutney. Super good food and friendly stuff!!

Very tasty food, I had the lamb and potato rolls as a starter and then the Tamil chicken vindaloo. Both highly recommended. The team is extremely friendly and takes great care of its guests. I have rarely experienced anything like this. We also liked the fairly simple but beautifully designed ambience. We would love to come back!

When I want to eat authentic South Indian food, I always choose Naveenapath. The food is 10/10. Chef and staff’s behaviour is very good and very familiar.

We love this Indian restaurant! We have been coming regularly for 3 years and love the authentic cuisine. The vegetarian menu is fantastic – especially the jackfruit curry – but the butter chicken and chicken Tamil vindaloo are also top-notch. The atmosphere is very simple, the prices are fair and the staff is always friendly. Absolutely recommended!

Als Eela Tamilisch-Deutsche Person kann ich dieses Restaurant von ganzem Herzen und bestem Gewissen empfehlen. Das Essen schmeckt wie zuhause. In Berlin gibt es kein anderes Lokal das vergleichsweise nur annähernd authentisches Tamilisches Essen anbietet. Die Auswahl ist groß - viele Gerichte sind auch vegan. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Was will man* mehr? Ich bin rundum glücklich und zufrieden. Ganz große Empfehlung also!!!

We were here yesterday with our children and mother-in-law and had a really nice afternoon. The children were really excited about the food, and we also enjoyed the dishes we ordered. You immediately notice that the dishes are prepared by real Indian chefs - the taste is authentic and reminiscent of India. The ambience is also authentic, although rather simple. The prices are very fair, especially considering the quality of the food. The staff was a bit reserved at first, but proved to be very friendly and accommodating over the course of the afternoon. All in all, we had a wonderful afternoon and would love to come back!

Apparently it's not working, so you save money on card payments and tablecloths. OK. But to skimp on friendliness? Well, they're probably worries. The chicken was pink raw, the taste was average. The atmosphere urgently needs someone with a feather duster and a mop.

We had brunch. All food were delicious, simple South-Indian food. Not too spicy. Mango lassi was top. They also have dosa and idli, nothing fancy, just hearthy good food. As you serve yourself for brunch, it is quick and you can eat your fill.

The 5 stars are purchased on site with a mango lassi The food is watered down, something was forgotten several times in the menu suggested by the restaurant and we waited +2 hours on beer benches for not even mediocre (sometimes banished) food. Please don't waste your time and hunger here

I had the Sunday brunch. Great selection, everything fresh and well made. Unfortunately the food lacked flavour. I really like South Indian and Sri Lankan food and it should be much spicier than it was here. Customer service is very good and the restaurant is beautiful. It is unfortunate that the food was so bland.

Die zahlreichen positiven Bewertungen erklären sich, sobald man die schmuddelige Speisekarte dieses eher unaufgeräumten und ganz und gar unspektakulären Lokals in der Hand hält: Hier wird für jede 5 Sterne-Review ein großes Mango-Lassi umsonst versprochen, und offensichtlich zeigt der Köder seine Wirkung. Im Grunde handelt es sich um eine vernachlässigte und vernachlässigbare Straßenkneipe mit schlechter Beleuchtung, wackeligen Tischen und - nicht einmal besonders gutem - indischem Essen, für die sich die lange Anfahrt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln - zu diesen Preisen - kaum lohnt. Wir waren tags darauf im Amrit, das sich seine 5 Sterne ehrlich verdient hat und nicht auf unlautere Wettbewerbsmethoden zurückgreifen muss. Fazit: Meiden!

È un ristorante che merita. La cucina dello Sri Lanka è una valida alternativa ai tanti ristoranti indiani di Berlino. Cibo molto buono, prezzi molto bassi rispetto agli altri indiani visitati. Porzioni abbondanti: con una portata abbiamo mangiato in due saziandoci. A richiesta portano bicchieri d'acqua minerale naturale (la cosiddetta tap water) che poi non fanno pagare. e si sa l'acqua in bottiglia in Germania costa più della birra! È un po' fuori mano ma MERITA assolutamente una visita!

Truly remarkable, this authentic, welcoming place! An experience that I find unforgettable and deeply satisfying at every level! The rice I ate was generous in chicken bites as well as with spices! My friends had curries which they didn’t manage to finish, either! A rare occurrence… The staff so smiling and warm, as if we were guests in a banquet!

Naveena Path is a wonderful spot for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine! The food was absolutely amazing—rich in flavor and truly authentic. The ambiance is charming, with Buddha-inspired artwork and elephant figures adding to the delightful atmosphere. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing lunch. As a sidenote, we ordered vegan tea, but they didn't have the vegan option available that day and served us regular tea instead. However, this didn't detract much from the overall experience. The service could be a bit better, but the friendly staff and delicious food make up for it. Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully with more vegan options next time.

I am living next to this restaurant for years and Im a fan and a regular. Definitely the best indian (though rather sri lankan) restaurant in the vicinity. My favorites are the three lentil dhal and the paneer jalfrezi. But the best thing is the vegan brunch on sunday.

Well, I visited Naveena Path restaurant twice recently at Tegeler Str. 22, and here is my review about it. Quality of food: The food quality is average to good but can't call it better or best. For me, the sabji ( veg or non-veg) tastes similar. You will get a kind of sour taste in each sabji. I tried sabji individually and also tried buffet over there. Food variety is there in buffet system which is unlimited. The naan does not look like usual naan. Price: The price is decent for regular menu. For buffet system it cost around 15 euro per person. Service: I think they are not that attentive enough to the wish of customers. Waiting time is longer than usual even though there is no crowd in the restaurant. Also upon giving the order, it may get lost and this happens with me exactly which I didn't like at all. Once I ordered a naan and I waited a long but still they have not delivered it to me. Finally, I paid the bill and returned from the restaurant without eating naan. So with respect to service, I am very much disappointed. I hope it is not the same with everyone. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is very quiet friendly and direct connectivity with bus. There is lot's of space to sit inside as well as outside the restaurant. I liked this thing about the restaurant. So overall, I give an average rating for this restaurant.

Delicious food, well seasoned, even if very spicy should really be very spicy

Had ordered via Wolt. The food was ok in taste. I am not sure, whether the Naan was homemade, as it looked like a commercial ready made Naan, you can buy in indian stores. The Garlic butter on top was burnt and hence tasted bitter. What disappointed me the most was the amount of oil they used and the way they had packed their food. Oil was literally oozing out, which made the handling, unpacking and eating very messy.

Great Sunday buffet! Numerous vegan dishes and drinks, idli, medu vada and chutneys! Super friendly staff, delicious food and always a cosy atmosphere! Such an unassuming place when you walk by, but a must-try if you want authentic local food! Just bring cash, as they don’t accept card payments. :)
