Blauths - Streetfood & Meer in Cuxhaven

Preisgünstig und lecker essen. Blauths hat sich vom Imbiss zu einem Restaurant entwickelt. Auch wenn es immer noch Selbstbedienung ist. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und alles ist sehr sauber. Hier kann man nicht nur zwischendurch essen gehen. Auch für das Abendessen ist Blauths zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier während unseres Urlaubes. Mal haben wir mitgenommen, mal haben wir vor Ort gegessen. Der Service war gut, sehr freundlich und die Geschwindigkeit passend zum jeweiligen Gastvolumen. Wir waren super zufrieden und kommen gerne irgendwann wieder.

Wir sind wegen der guten Bewertungen da gewesen. Wir hatten ein Matjes und ein Bismarck Brötchen. Die Brötchen waren von Vorvorgestern und auf den Brötchen keine Butter und auf dem Bismarck Brötchen nicht mal Zwiebeln. Für uns nicht zu empfehlen!!!!

Sehr nettes Personal Essen kam schnell War sehr lecker Fish& Chips ,Remoulade war selbst gemachte .Pommes knackig. Alles sauber und ordentlich.

Fischbrötchen ok, aber leider stinkt es sehr nach Zigarettenrauch. Obwohl rundum Scheiben sind, ist qualmen hier erlaubt. Dementsprechend stinkt es dann auch, wenn an mehreren Tischen geraucht wird.

Die besten Backfisch Brötchen in Cuxhaven. Ich habe über Jahre hinweg versucht ein besseres Brötchen zu finden (wir kommen mindestens einmal im Jahr in die Region), leider ohne Erfolg. Egal ob Sahlenburger Strand oder Cuxhavener Str. Der Backfisch ist immer wieder einmalig bei Blauths.

Kein Trinkgeld, dann kein gutes Matjesbrötchen, Matjes schon etwas älter

Wir sind hin weil auf der Karte kibbeling stand, als "Meeres Tüte" also kibbeling plus Pommes, ich hab gefragt ob man denn kibbeling allein bestellen könnte, er meinte er könnte die Pommes weg lassen und dann doppelte Menge kibbeling rein. 12,90€ für 8 Stück Backfisch Würfel. Das ist kein kibbeling, und ist viel zu teuer für viel zu wenig. Der angestellte wusste scheinbar auch gar nicht was kibbeling ist, wenn ich mir das so ansehe, daher die schlechte Bewertung.cer war freundlich und hat den Kompromiss angeboten, weshalb auch noch 2 Sterne, statt 1.

Sie haben uns den Backfisch frisch zubereitet. Er war auch nach 10 Minuten Fußweg noch angenehm warm. Auch das Krabbenbrötchen war gut belegt.

Das Essen war geschmacklich okay...die Bedienung an der Theke wirkte eher unbeholfen...mein bereits bezahltes Getränk musste ich nehrfach nochmal anfordern...im ganzen viel zu teuer für einen Imbiss bzw Bistro Betrieb...das Bier wird nur abgefüllt, nicht gezapft...schade für Cuxhaven

Mussten leider 20 Minuten auf 2 Brötchen warten weil wir vergessen wurden. Brötchen waren okay. Das Seelachsschnitzel Brötchen war nicht so salzig wie ich es kenne und erwartet hätte.

Essen gut aber preislich etwas teurer und keine Bestellung vom Tisch aus möglich. Flaschenbier für 5-6€ deutlich zu teuer. Viel Raucher auf der Terrasse, für Nichtraucher unangenehm.

Mir hat es gefallen. Es ist wie ein Restaurant, aber mit Selbstbedienung. Die Fischgerichte sind köstlich, die Preise angemessen. Der Service ist gut. Es ist recht gemütlich. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die sauberen und gepflegten Toiletten. Insgesamt positiv.

Imbiss an der Cuxhavener Straße 4 Snacks bestellt-es war relativ voll. Nach 30 Minuten stellte sich heraus, unser Essen wurde vergessen. Nach Entschuldigung, konnten wir leckere Snacks essen, Pulled Lachs ,echt guter Burger, andere Bestellungen, waren auch wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten, Garnelen und ' Meeeestüte'

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier. Leckere Fischbrötchen und dazu eine erfrischendes Getränk. Es schmeckt gu,nettes Servicepersonal u man kann dort auch mal länger sitzen u verweilen.

Gemütlich, zwanglos und sehr freundlicher Service. Auch vegetarische Gerichte zur Auswahl (nicht nur das lieblose Grillgemüse oder die Ofenkartoffel wie beim Rest der dortigen Restaurants). Hier gibt es zum Beispiel verschiedene Pommes-Gerichte und Kartoffelwaffeln (sehr lecker, auch vegan möglich). Außerdem sehr saubere Wickelmöglichkeit im Damen-WC.

Über einen längeren Zeitraum besuchen wir immer mal wieder dieses Unternehmen. Die Qualität hat sich über diese Zeit nicht verändert, immer gerne wieder...

Meine Nordseeplatte war superlecker. Lediglich die Rühreiportion, hätte ein wenig größer sein können. Die Krabbenportion war gut, bei den heutigen Preisen. Der Mattjes superzart und lecker, mit einer megaleckeren Soße Anstatt Bratkartoffeln gab es bei mir eine Ofenkartoffel, die komplett durchgegart war und die Sourcreme mega. Auch der Cheesvurger und die Pommes waren super. Beim Ambiete haben wir für Innen 1🌟 abgezogen, weil es doch ein wenig beengt war. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war Top!!! Auf einen Tisch mussten wir nicht warten, weil die Saison und die Woche erst anfingen

Hallo Bin hier immer gerne eingekehrt um ein frisches gezapftes Dithmarscher Pils zu trinken. Leider gibt's hier nur noch Krombacher das bekomme ich auch zu Hause . Regionalität? Dann geh ich lieber zu Metscher hier gibt's das Blonde vom Fass.

Wir haben mehr als eine halbe Stunde auf 2 Portionen Pommes gewartet, hätte ich das gewusst hätte ich lieber nichts bestellt. Die Pommes waren dann aber zumindest lecker.

Kunde vor mir wollte mit EC bezahlen, war zu dem Zeitpunkt aber nicht möglich, warum auch immer, egal. Kunde wollte am Automaten Bargeld holen. Es wurde nicht weiter bedient..... später dann, mein Matjes Brötchen vom Fisch OK, Preis OK, Brötchen weich und lappig..... vermutlich nicht, oder nicht lange genug aufgebacken. War tatsächlich mein erster und auch letzter Versuch

Sehr schönes Lokal, leckeres Essen und sehr höfliches Personal, Fisch ist sehr gut, die Fischfrikadellen schön gebraten und lecker.

Sowohl der Backfisch im warmen krossen Brötchen und der Backfisch mit leckeren Pommes haben sehr gut geschmeckt und wurden frisch zubereitet - da wartet man gerne ein paar Minuten. Schönes rustikales Ambiente und nicht zu überladen. Obwohl heute mittag gut zu tun war, war die Mitarbeiterin am Tresen freundlich und schnell.

Wir waren hier am 09.02.2026 zu dritt und haben drei super leckere Fischbrötchen gegessen. Das Personal war sehr Freundlich, das Essen sehr schnell auf dem Tisch und das Ambiente und Mobiliar modern. Hier passt einfach alles, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Frische Speisen und nette Bedienung

Meine Frau und ich waren am 18.01.2026 dort vorstellig und waren von dem Ambiente und der Bedienung sehr beeindruckt, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Ein Beispiel: Ein Pärchen bestellte sich Glühwein, durch ein Malheur ist leider eine Glühweintasse umgekippt. Nachdem der Kellner dieses erfahren hat gab er der Dame, ohne Aufforderung, eine neues Getränk. Das fanden wir sehr löblich. Den Fisch kann man sehr empfehlen, wir hatten uns jeden Nachmittag dort ein Fischbrötchen gekauft. Alles in Allem, sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit allem. Immer freundlich und das Essen super .Preis und Leistung 100%. Besser als Metscher wo man nur kinder Portionen bekommt und der Preis sehr hoch ist. Dort bekommt man auch nur gekauften Kartoffelsalat präsentiert

Für einen besseren Imbiss wirklich sehr lohnenswert. Das Essen ist immer gut, der Service ist sehr nett, es ist sauber und man kann drinnen wie draußen gut sitzen. Immer gern :)

Super Laden mit echt leckeren Backfisch. Habe noch nie ein so leckeres Backfischbrötchen gegessen, mit hausgemachter Remoulade...danach ist man satt. Fischfilet pur. Toll

Der Backfisch war solide und frisch. Hat aber wirklich lange gedauert, obwohl nicht allzu viel los war. Preislich dem Ort entsprechend.

Haben hier spontan zwei Fischbrötchen gegessen, geschmacklich nicht schlecht, dafür aber doch recht teuer. Könnten auch mit ein wenig mehr liebe belegt werden. Alles in allem aber gut 👍🏻

War schön das Getümmel auf der Straße zu beobachten beim Essen. Pluspunkt für die Einrichtung war wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet.

We had a veggie burger and a potato waffle. The burger might have been worth four stars, but the waffle was noticeably cold and rather chewy. It tasted OK with the vegetables, but it wasn't a hit. And certainly not OK after waiting over half an hour. It wasn't like there were many people ahead of us; it just took an incredibly long time.

The food and drinks were good. Service was friendly. Pleasant noise level in the dining area. The only drawback for me is that I don't like the fact that people are allowed to smoke in the counter area when picking up takeout food!

Very good food. Tried it thanks to a recommendation from our neighbors. Even when my husband, being English, ordered fish and chips (I thought it was fried fish [in Endland] and fries) and only got "fish nuggets," they replaced it. It's the best, next to Liverpool Fish and Chips. We've been here several times. Top-notch. Service very friendly and accommodating. ❤️😘

We were at Blauths in Duhnen today. For me, as a wheelchair user, it was difficult to get up the step. Until last year there was an entrance on the side without steps, but this is now closed and built over. Then, only after asking several times did my husband get a receipt which stated that there was more than we had ordered and we should pay because it was our fault for ordering the wrong thing. We also ordered fried fish without remularde and got it with remularde. When we complained, the waitress said what could she do, she was alone - that's no excuse. All in all, a disappointing evening and I wouldn't recommend going again.

There's no service because it's self-service. You only get a receipt with reluctance. And you're promptly charged for things you didn't even want. They make excuses for it because you're alone. The food was okay but greasy. And it's not wheelchair accessible because the entrance has a step and another entrance was closed. The staff also said that's not welcome. Never again.

We got fries to go, and they were absolutely delicious! A generous portion, well-seasoned, and crispy. The price was reasonable considering the current price.

"... wasn't that great," said a customer as she passed us. Unfortunately, that turned out to be true. The ordering process was a bit chaotic. Our meals weren't ready at the same time, and I had to wait about 10 minutes before I could get my plaice. Other guests reported missing orders. The service staff seemed stressed and frustrated with their own colleagues. My meal (plaice) was of mixed quality. The fried potatoes were very good. So was the tartar sauce. The plaice itself was mediocre. Unfortunately, the numerous bones spoiled the fun for the rest of the meal, but to be honest, due to the asynchronous service, there wasn't much left anyway. My friend really enjoyed her meal (fried fish). Special requests (fries instead of fried potatoes) were accommodated. The ambiance was otherwise perfectly fine.

I've rarely eaten such a bad meal. The salad was swimming in dressing, the baked potato had to be cut out of its skin, and the generously coated white mush tasted like mayonnaise. The lady at the counter couldn't mix a Limoncello Spritz. In retrospect, it turned out she only had a rough idea of ​​how to make Aperol. What a shame! Perhaps it would be better to have less on the menu, but do it properly.

Well, it wasn't that great. The fried potatoes weren't really fried potatoes, they were just burnt potatoes. You have to be able to make fried potatoes, but they apparently can't. We went to Blauths in Sahlenburg last year. It wasn't cheap, but the food was excellent, and the ambiance and service were also very good. We were looking forward to our visit to Duhnen, but unfortunately, we regretted it. The ordering process was chaotic (and not just for us), the wait was long, and the food was over-fried. Charging €17.90 for this fish and chips is outrageous. There are much better alternatives.

A great restaurant for anyone who loves fish! The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I particularly enjoyed the delicious side dishes, which perfectly rounded off the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. A real highlight that we'll definitely visit again soon!

The best fried fish in Cuxhaven. Fresh and in its natural form, not rectangular and pre-formed like everywhere else.

The food was very greasy and salty, and guests were allowed to smoke in the restaurant. The kibbeling looked and tasted triple-fried. The fries were also incredibly salty. The comparatively lower price was offset by a stomachache.

We ate here on a Friday. The whole of Duhnen was very busy that evening, and luckily we managed to get a table. We sat there for a while and perused the fancy menu. When no one came to our table, we asked the next table. Here, you order at the counter, get your drinks, and a beeper that announces when the food is ready. You then pick it up yourself. The food was really very good. I had kibbelinge with thick but crispy fries. Truly delicious and fairly priced. You don't stay here for an espresso afterward, and the beeping of the beepers doesn't add to the ambience. Still, 5 stars because overall everything was excellent. However, I would have liked to have seen a brief notice on the tables (or just somewhere) about the ordering process.

The food was delicious, and we had a comfortable seat. The prices are quite high for self-service. I didn't like the fact that the food counter is right where you leave your empty plates. Overall, though, it's still recommended.

Blauths is a hybrid of a restaurant and a snack bar. There's a counter where you can buy fish sandwiches. Table service is also available in the covered outdoor area. Here, you can order delicious fish platters or a grilled dish, which we tried. The service was quick and very courteous.

We've been here many times. We're usually always satisfied. But unfortunately, this time, with a herring roll, there were several bones in the fish. It's a real shame. We waited in line for 15 minutes and then unfortunately received a substandard product.

We were there two years ago and again this year (several times a week). Great atmosphere! Very friendly and fast! They serve affordable crab sandwiches, stuffed to the brim with crab! Everything else on the menu is also excellent! Good quality and very tasty! We'd be happy to come back!

We were looking for a place that served fish dishes and found Blauths - Streetfood & Meer. The wait was a maximum of 10 minutes, and the staff was very friendly. The seating was comfortable; the benches were decorated with cushions and furs. The food was delicious. We opted for the coastal platter with fried potatoes, remoulade, herring, salmon, North Sea crab, and scrambled eggs. We would order again.

My wife had the fish platter. The selection was okay, but we didn't expect the quality for the price. It was too expensive for what was on the platter. I had the large fried fish, which looked good and was plentiful. But the fish felt heavy on my stomach later on. Whether it was the fat from the frying... I have no idea. My stomach isn't usually that sensitive, but it really gave me something to think about later.

This is self-service. The food was very good and tasty, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was cozy, although it might be too cold in rainy and cooler temperatures. The service when ordering was friendly and flexible when it came to changes. If the weather holds, we'll be back. We've been to Duhnen again and come here almost every day. That speaks for itself! Even when it's cooler, you're sitting sheltered from the wind. The fish dishes are still very good. We'd love to come back!

Seit der Neueröffnung sind wir bei Blauths in Sahlenburg Stammgäste, weil das Essen dort super lecker ist und wir immer super freundlich bedient werden.! Und sehr schönes Ambiente!☀️

Wir saßen wunderschön direkt am Fenster und konnten den Sonnenuntergang über dem Watt beobachten. Das Essen (Pulled Lachs Burger und Scholle Finkenwerder Art) war richtig lecker.

You may or may not like the self-pickup concept at the bar. The 0.5-liter beer, which was clearly below the gauge after foaming, was definitely not. That's okay when the place is packed, but not when it's barely half full. The fried fish sandwich was good (significantly more fish than breading—that's how it should be). The pulled salmon burger was great, really tasty. I'd go again. Edit: The glass was full the second time. The potato waffle with pollock fillet was also really good.

Unfortunately very inflexible, the taste is rather lower midfield!!!

We were really looking forward to Blauth after we enjoyed eating there in 2023. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied this year - the kibbeling in the sea bag were dripping with fat, the fried potatoes were not fried but cooked & the pulled salmon burger was so spicy that you had to drink a lot and the bread/rolls were too hard to cut and too unstable to bite into. Unfortunately, some food/drinks were also sold out. We think the ambience is great, as is the location and service is virtually non-existent since it is a self-service restaurant.

We spontaneously went to Blauths in Duhnen... the coastal plate was nicely prepared, crabs, salmon and matjes, as well as the scrambled eggs tasted good and delicious... yes, everything is getting more expensive everywhere, but the price for what was on offer was fair... It's difficult to evaluate service in a self-service restaurant... We were there shortly before closing time in the evening and were warmly welcomed at the counter... like you call into the forest... everything was good😃

We were there as a family! And had rump steak, fish platter, Ordered panfish and a whole plaice. It was soooo delicious. The chef was super hardworking and came to our table to ask how we liked it. Everything was finished to perfection and presented so well. I can only recommend it. Really great!!!!

The fish dishes are good and can really be recommended. Unfortunately, the already limited service there was further dismantled this year. Now, as a customer, I have to put my banknotes into a machine where the change is then ejected at the bottom. The whole thing is justified, among other things, for hygiene reasons. For me it's just a further reduction in service there. In addition, this machine is far too high for older and smaller people. What will happen in 2026? As a paying guest, will I have to get my own food from the kitchen or even fry my fish myself?

Die meisten gerichte sind gut bürgerlich und kann man definitiv weiter empfehlen. Leider gibt es jetzt im jahr 2025 nach der bestellung einen kassenautomaten wo ich selber die scheine einschieben muss und kurze Zeit später wieder unten das Rückgeld wieder ausgeworfen. Begründet wird diese Maschine die meiner meinung nach ,viel zu hoch hängt ,für ältere und kleine Menschen mit der Hygiene. Für mich ist es ein weiterer Schritt um noch weniger Kunden Kontakt haben zu müssen. Was kommt als nächstes muss ich mir mein Essen dann persönlich in der Küche abholen ?

Fish sandwich ok. Nothing special, except what is special is the price if you choose tartar sauce or aioli with the fish roll, which costs 1€ (!!!) extra. This blob is way too expensive/excessive and should e.g. B. be included in the fish roll price.

Give it another chance and test it but it just remains bad. Service is not in the mood, fries are almost raw. More appearance than reality.

No thanks! Self-service! The prices are ridiculous for what's on offer. For example, fish & chips for €12.90, for which you have to wait 25 minutes in March 2025, with less than 50 percent table occupancy. Tables covered in crumbs, some not cleared. Cutlery and napkins only available upon repeated request. Ready meals are called out and taken away by other guests who ordered later. Chaotic conditions in the off-season. It makes you wonder what to expect there in the summer. Duhnen isn't necessarily more expensive than other places on the North Sea. It's just that a few restaurants are overdoing it, and this one is unfortunately one of them.
