We were there on the holiday without a reservation. Despite it being packed, we managed to get a table. The food was extremely good and the service was friendly, quick and in a good mood despite the many people.

Great restaurant with a special flair. Our favorite dish is the BBQ burger. The service is close to perfect. Can only be recommended

Everything is (almost) perfect, which is why it is one of our favorite restaurants. When we ordered, a group of > 50 people came after us. The noise level was then very high, so conversations stopped and we had to leave immediately after eating. Without cocktail - without dessert. Too bad. If necessary, better shield such large groups in the future. We'll be back! :)

Everything is really right here. Even without reservations we got a table. We had a Cordon Bleu and a Holstein-style schnitzel, each with fried potatoes. We really enjoyed both and even though the store was really full and the service people were busy rotating, they did everything right and were very attentive. Big compliments to the kitchen and the service, keep it up 👍🏻

What struck me was the very good service here. The drinks were mixed very well, we didn't eat. We'll catch up on that.

Yesterday we arrived in the parking lot next to the restaurant and I asked nicely if I could use the toilet. Unfortunately, as I was obviously pregnant, I was denied this because I wasn't a guest. Very sad that you can't make an exception! I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't urgent.

The best address in Duhnen. Delicious food with pleasant prices. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Some stores can learn a thing or two from this.

There were 10 people there. It felt like they were completely dealt with, everything had to happen quickly. Unfortunately, other guests (obviously regulars or similar) were given priority. Food was good.

Certainly one of the most sought-after locations in the corner, especially during high season. The menu reads well, the quality of the food is great. Definitely visit...

The atmosphere is nice, the food is delicious, but the service could be a little friendlier. Even if there is a lot going on and I understand that the service staff is stressed, as a guest you don't want to get the feeling that you are just being fobbed off quickly.

We have been regular guests (annual vacation in Cuxhaven) since Björn's Beach opened (2014), and there are reasons for that: First of all, it must be clearly emphasized how committed the waiters (especially Steven!) always are to their guests in a friendly and good mood. It should also be mentioned that the boss himself is not only often on site, but also sees himself as part of his team, as this is no longer always the case these days. The quality of the food has been consistently good to very good for years. The prices are reasonable. The ambience and background music make you want to stay longer. Kudos to the team! Keep it up! Priced at the top end. Food was tasty, portion could be larger.

Unfortunately we were completely ignored for 30 minutes. Repeated hand signals were also ignored. All guests who came after us were served immediately, even though we were sitting in the direct path. After 30 minutes we left.

This is our first time in Cux-Döse. On Sunday evening around 5:30 p.m. we had dinner in Bjoerns Beach. The reception was friendly and professional. We were still able to choose where we wanted to sit under the large awning, even though the terrace was already busy. The service was very friendly. The food (mushroom schnitzel and baked potato with grilled vegetables) came very quickly, the well-sized portions were very tasty. Overall, high prices, but reasonable. We'll be back.

Only half a portion and the quality is significantly worse than in 2023. Prices are still increased, of course. Very disappointing, I used to love being here!

The “booth” was packed; Nevertheless, the service staff have NOT lost track! All attention! The food we ordered...GREAT. The price/performance ratio is very good these days, for a holiday resort. I recommend Björn's Beach! By the way: the burgers looked very good, unfortunately we didn't order them, but we haven't left yet.

Children and especially babies are not welcome. The unfriendly boss explained that if you wanted to breastfeed you should do so in the toilet. That would be… well he would also have other guests. That doesn't work at all! Breastfeeding is something natural. My baby was hungry/thirsty/needed closeness. And I certainly won't do that in the toilet. Since my baby cried, we had to leave the garden until the food was there. The toilet smelled so strongly of chemicals that my children had coughing fits. The service was completely overwhelmed. Stands at the table with you, but talks to people three tables away, etc. Of course there were friendly staff too. Unfortunately, the boss spoiled the whole visit. The food, which we had unfortunately already ordered because otherwise we would have gotten up and left, was good.

Die Bar ist wirklich schön, doch leider sehr hochpreisig. Wir bestellten uns zwei Krombacher Pils vom Fass und bezahlen im Anschluss. Die Bedienung wollte sich unaufgefordert zwei Euro Wechselgeld einbehalten, aufgrund dieser dreisten Aktion musste er auf sein Trinkgeld verzichten.

Stopped spontaneously for dinner after a day at the beach. We didn't make a reservation, it was very full, but we still got a friendly table recommendation. It was pointed out that it could take about 45 minutes for the food to arrive, but that wasn't a problem for us. You sit very comfortably and can have a good conversation. Then the food came and it was absolute pleasure. The plates were beautifully prepared and we were really full. The herring plate is my personal recommendation... A poem. The service was very stressful but was still very friendly. And not intrusive. We recommend this bar and will definitely come back because the price was absolutely great

We stopped here after a walk on the beach and actually got a table. It was great that the table was in close proximity to the children's play area so that we could always keep an eye on our little ones. The waitress was stressed because of the mass of people, so I don't want to accuse him of being rude or lacking empathy towards the short guy. I think monosyllabic and professional describes it best. About the food you can say: Yes, it was good. The dips (remoulade and garlic dip) were very majo-heavy and the actual mayo turned sour (probably due to the weather). In my opinion, the price is too expensive on average, but that's probably the case almost everywhere at the moment. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant.

Edit. 2024 The restaurant has returned to its old quality and really deserves the 5 stars. Edit. Unfortunately, in 2022 the food has changed a lot in terms of taste/quality. We won't eat there anymore. Very unfortunate. 2021. One of our absolute favorite restaurants in Cuxhaven.

Nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. At the time of the Olympics you could also watch the Olympics. The waiters were very nice and also gave tips. The food was good but I personally think the prices were a bit too high in comparison.

The food was amazing, but I was shocked and very annoyed afterwards when the waitress seemed to have not tipped enough and he shook his head and mumbled impudence under his breath. The food was very tasty but also very expensive and I only rounded up to the nearest 10. The service wasn't memorable either, so I didn't decide to tip more generously! That's just not possible!

When taking the order, he was busy watching other guests and immediately shouted at me when he ordered because it wasn't quick enough for him. We had to wait over 20 minutes for the bill. Always happy to come here. Service is simply top. Super friendly every time so far. The cleanliness, whether toilets or where you sit, is just great. You can just tell that the passion for gastronomy is fully lived here.

If you are on vacation here you should definitely go here! Always worth seeing and hearing, just have fun, eat something tasty and drink something and meet lots of nice people! The food is also first class and if something isn't right, it's sorted straight away!

We came by spontaneously and got a place straight away. The cellars were quickly ready and so it didn't take long to sit down, order and eat. Our child had the rice pudding and we had the schnitzel with mushrooms. The dressing on the salad was very good, but the mushrooms with onions were also delicious. We'd love to come back.

First of all we had very friendly service. When the food was delivered by the waitress Dännis and I asked for a drink that was still missing, he said in an inappropriate tone "that wouldn't come from the kitchen", absolutely impudent tone! After a few minutes the missing drinks arrived, which isn't a problem in itself, but the sound makes the music!!!!! During our stay, we encountered some situations where the employees did not have a good attitude towards each other, which is why you couldn't feel comfortable. Food was fine! Conclusion: Every restaurant lives from its employees and their manners. There are many other places in the area that make you feel more welcome.

We had just eaten here for the first time, we were greeted very nicely at the door and escorted to the table. We remain simply brilliant when it comes to staff/service, everyone is really friendly, nice and helpful. The ambience is totally contemporary and you immediately feel at home. The food was amazing (chicken burger, BBQ burger & schnitzel), everything was super freshly prepared, the burgers were really juicy and the schnitzel was cooked to perfection. Price/performance just thumbs up 👍. We'll definitely eat here again.

The atmosphere is nice, cozy and very well maintained. The toilet etc very clean. There's nothing major to complain about about the food, except that the baked potatoes were floury and the herring was very salty. Unfortunately, the corpulent service staff was very unpleasant: unfriendly and stressed, even though the shop had just opened and therefore there were fewer guests to serve. For us this is incomprehensible behavior. We are used to friendliness from another restaurant run by the same operator. What a shame!
