Bistro Moscow is one of the best gifts given to our humanity. The meat literally falls apart when you look at it and the taste is out of this world. We found this restaurant almost starving and since then we have been coming here every few months to enjoy this taste experience. I really recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. Every dish tastes great, and I know this because I've tried each one. Thank you Bistro Moscow, see you next time!❤️

Cozy restaurant, prices okay. I can't and don't want to judge how authentically Russian the dishes are, but the grilled shish kebab skewers are super tasty. Service nice and accommodating.

The restaurant is somewhat hidden in Gießen West, about 3 minutes from the Lahn. Easily accessible by car. There are several free parking spaces available on the side of the road and at the side of the building. The restaurant offers an authentic Eastern European atmosphere with a very good and manageable selection of Russian specialties. “Russian” beer and “Russian” soft drinks are also offered. For the group “what the farmer doesn’t know, he doesn’t eat” there are schnitzel and regional beer. Indoor area and beautiful outdoor area available. The staff is always friendly and attentive and responds to the guests' individual wishes. Very pleasantly priced - not too expensive but not too cheap either, which is certainly an indication of the quality of the food. As the name suggests, it's more of a restaurant with bistro flair - if you're looking for a 3-star ambience, this is the wrong place; if you want to take a trip to Eastern Europe, you'll get your money's worth here. On the negative side, some guests drink significantly too much alcohol and are unpleasant. I wish the host would pay more attention to this and talk to people about it. Overall, highly recommended! Feel free to ask the waiter about your individual wishes (in terms of taste) - you've never been disappointed so far. We recommend the borsch // shashlik (pork) // salad mix // pelmeni // melnik. It's best to call before your visit!

Hi all. I've been to this restaurant twice. About food. Everything is very tasty. The service is good. The summer veranda is excellent. I also ordered food to go. Everything was done at the highest level. If you want to eat well and have a good time, this is definitely the place for you

Through a very good friend we went there to eat there yesterday after the game. The food tasted excellent, the meat was nice and tender and well seasoned. The service took place without a long wait and they were nice and friendly. I had goulash with pasta and a salad, both of which were sufficient in quantity, my husband and our friends had something from the grill, and we were extremely satisfied with all of our orders. Beyond that, I didn't find any Mengel or comments.😊 The location of the restaurant is quiet and pleasant, ideal for a relaxed meal.

We happened to pass by on a bike ride and ate there. Everyone was very friendly and the food came and was served very quickly. Of course I recommend the shashlik plate. Highly recommended for a stop to cool off after a bike tour.

The food was so outstanding. I would definitely visit again if I'm in Giessen. It's worth it for anyone who loves Russian food.

Super delicious food and super nice staff. Have been there several times and want to go again. We sat outside with the dog. Very dog-friendly environment and a digestive walk after eating was also possible. See you soon :)

Everything is wonderful. Big portion. Real charcoal grill is used. Unfortunately frozen turkey schnitzel was fried in the deep fryer.

We were there for the first time today and were very satisfied. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, we immediately felt at home. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was super delicious 👍🏻😍 We had pelmeni, shashlik, chebureki and a salad variation, everything tasted great. We'll definitely be back.

A hidden little treasure pouring. The restaurant is located in the Wedtdtadt but the proximity to Lahn makes for a nice little excursion.

I discovered this bistro in the Schlemmerblock and tried it straight away. And I have to say, it was more than worth it. The meat was freshly prepared on the charcoal grill, and the homemade cake was also very tasty. Service friendly and attentive. There are still many specialties on the menu that I would like to try. There weren't many guests there at lunchtime, it was very quiet.

Authentic cuisine that touches the heart 🥰 Shashlik, as I got to know it over 20 years ago, and the pelmeni were also “like before”. The bistro is simply furnished, the service is friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. Russian dishes score points with the simplicity of each individual component but also the variety of the place settings. Of course, a Russian beer and a barley malt drink are also included. A wonderful experience and definitely worth a visit.

The food was awesome! Had plov (rice dish) and vareniki (something like dumplings) with quark. Everything was freshly prepared and you could taste it. Service is a bit inexperienced, but that takes away the sympathy. People often asked if everything was OK and special requests were also fulfilled without any problems. Prices are completely reasonable, we will definitely be back!

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedingungen. Das Schaschlik mit Salzkartoffeln war sehr lecker und zum Nachtisch einen Kloster Kuchen, kann ich ebenfalls nur empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung

Waren heute das erste Mal dort... Das Schaschlik ist ein absolutes Muss: Frisch zubereitet und sehr saftig. Kenne bisher nichts Vergleichbares in der Umgebung. Auch der Besitzer ist freundlich und immer bemüht, dass es einem wirklich an nichts fehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich hatte zum Abendessen dort einiges zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Das Essen war frisch, das Essen wurde direkt frisch zubereitet, hier wird nicht in die Tiefkühltruhe gegriffen, sondern frisch zubereitet. Die Blini waren wirklich sehr köstlich und haben gut geschmeckt, auch freundlichkeit und Ambiente waren hervorragend. Ich hole demnächst wieder etwas, 10 von 10 Sternen für alles. Hier bekommt man leckeres russisches Essen zum vernünftigen Preis was auch wirklich schmeckt und der Leistung gerecht wird

Das Bistro “Restaurant Moskau” in Gießen ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Ein authentisches Juwel, das mit einer freundlichen Atmosphäre und aufrichtiger Gastfreundschaft punktet. Jedes Gericht wird frisch zubereitet, was man definitiv schmeckt! Die Aromen sind reichhaltig und zeugen von echter russischer Küche. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Ein Muss für jeden, der echte, unverfälschte Kulinarik sucht. Top Empfehlung!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich behandelt. Draußen ist es besonders schön. Aufgrund des Wetters mussten wir dann doch rein, aber auch dort hat es uns gefallen. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und war wirklich gut. Wir wollen bei besserem Wetter nochmal wieder kommen. Preislich auch echt ok!

Das Bistro Moskau ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen war überragend. Das Fleisch war sehr frisch und super zubereitet. Alles Gerichte waren wirklich lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auch. Das Ambiente ist nicht das schönste, wird aber durch das gute Essen und den top Service ausgeglichen. Der Chef ist zu dem ein richtiger Kenner im Bereich Wein! Ich werde regelmäßig wiederkommen.

Einfach lecker! Tolle authentische Speisen. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Für mich hat es geschmeckt wie bei meiner Oma. Wunderbar. Und tolle Auswahl. Da findet jeder etwas. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren am Freitagabend da, war Livemusik, sehr schön und gemütlich. Drinnen sind nicht so viele Tische, ich weiß nicht ob es für alle reicht, wenn das Wetter schlecht ist, deswegen würde ich empfehlen zu reservieren. Ruhig, weil das eine Sackgasse ist. Das Essen war lecker, den Frauen hat die Menge auf jeden Fall gereicht, die Männer könnten ein bisschen mehr haben 😃. Tschebureki sind groß, Schaschlyk gut durchgebraten und zart. Vareniki so, wie die sein sollen, Salate auch. Vielen lieben Dank!💜

Bardzo dobre szaszłyki. Wszystko świeże, porcja ogromna. Obsługa bardzo miła. Pan właściciel dał dla naszego pieska przysmak.

Ich war schon öfter in Bistro Moskau und bin vom ersten Tag an begeistert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und das preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auch 👌 Der Service ist außergewöhnlich gut. Ich liebe das Ambiente mit der nostalgischen russischen Musik. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Macht weiter so 💪

Sehr leckeres Essen. Vorallem mal was anderes. Die Spieße waren sehr gut gewürzt und sehr zart. Sehr freundliches Personal. Beim nächsten mal freuen wir uns schon auf die Dorado vom Holzkohlegrill. Ist übrigens günstig gelegen um nach dem Essen einen verdaunsspaziergang zu machen da direkt neben dem Restaurant einpaar Kleingärten sind und dann kommt schon die Lahn.

Wir waren seit dem vergangenen Jahr jetzt bereits das fünfte Mal im Bistro Moskau. Das Ambiente im Außenbereich ist rustikal aber bei gutem Wetter gemütlich. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist rustikal osteuropäisch. Wir haben inzwischen verschiedene Favoriten hier, die war alle gut finden. Pelmeni und als Vorspeisen die Knoblauchplatte oder die drei gemischten Salate. Der Kartoffelsalat und der Rote Beete Salat sind sehr wohlschmeckend; der scharfe Karottensalat ebenfalls, aber vielleicht nichts für jeden. Das hausgemachte Gulasch wird mit Kartoffeln serviert. Der Geheimtipp ist für uns das russische Schaschlik. Spieß, gut eingelegt, vom Grill. Dazu Pommes Frites oder Eis und Salat. Als besondere Beilage gibt es in Essig eingelegte Zwiebeln. Dessert nicht vergessen. In der Regel zwei hausgemachte russische Kuchen. Vom Patron noch einen Wein empfehlen oder russisches Bier probieren. Bisher nie enttäuscht worden. Wer gutes rustikal gehaltenes Essen mag ist hier richtig.

Das Bistro Moskau ist ein echter Tipp wenn man einmal weg von der klassischen Speisekarte will. Der Außenbereich ist eher rustikal, die Speisen lecker, die Portionen gut bemessen und das Personal super aufmerksam und freundlich.
