Bing Go in Düsseldorf

We had to wait a bit, but that didn't bother us because our order was freshly prepared. They offer both savory and sweet dishes.

I've walked past the shop several times, and there were always plenty of customers standing in front. This piqued my curiosity, so I wanted to try the tayaki. Bing Go itself is a very small shop. There's only a narrow wall table where you can eat while standing. So, it's more common to order to-go or have a package to take away. Unsurprisingly, the employees seemed exhausted. Given the volume of customers they serve throughout the day, that's understandable. Unfortunately, there's not much room for friendliness. Now for the most important part: I ordered the tayaki with apple filling. The taste is almost identical to apple pancakes, only waffle-shaped and in the shape of a fish. I liked it, but given the high price and the long wait, it wasn't worth it for me.

Great Taiyaki & Quick Service! We visited the store on a Monday late evening and were the only customers at the time. We ordered three taiyaki and received a €0.90 discount. The taiyaki is made fresh to order, with a short waiting time of about 5 minutes. All the taiyaki were delicious, and we’ll definitely visit again! Note: They only accept card payments.

Here you can get very tasty taiyaki - something like Japanese filled waffles in the shape of fish and very tasty matcha ice cream. If you want something sweet on Immermannstrasse, then you've come to the right place!

We tried the fish waffles there. Had a waffle with matcha and one with red beans. Very tasty, but quite expensive. The waffles were freshly prepared and were therefore still warm. Unfortunately only card payment possible.

The taiyaki taste really good. They are quite simple, but still very tasty. I just find the price of €3.90 per piece (as of March 2025) a little steep. The criticism is still not enough to deduct a point, as I eat there more often when I'm in Düsseldorf.

Had the traditional Taiyaki with red bean filling. Made fresh and served piping hot this was an amazing treat and not overly sweet.

I got the Taiyaki Party (5 pieces) for dessert. I really enjoyed all the sweet versions; I especially liked the vanilla pudding ^^ I will definitely come back and order again!

This is a restaurant where if you are craving for chicken cakes and taiyaki in Germany, you can come and satisfy your craving! But you don’t have to go out of your way to eat it. I chose the red bean flavor for Taiyaki! It’s just an ordinary taiyaki, neither particularly delicious nor unpalatable! The ice cream is a mix of matcha and black flavors, but I can't tell what it is. It's not sesame flavor~ but it tastes good, but not particularly delicious. However, the crust will not soften until the end of the ice cream! Or QQ

The matcha soft ice was good, but I didn't taste much of the matcha. It's also a bit pricey. The menu is on the wall next to the cashier, they should put it up on the right side so you can have a look at it while waiting to order.

The taiyaki with vanilla or bean filling are very tasty. The 'dessert' is similar to a waffle with any filling. Traditionally, the taiyaki (Japanese pastry) is filled with anko, a sweet red bean paste (which is also highly recommended). The shop itself is very small and smells very strongly of the dough and fat. After ordering, you receive a small beeper that announces when the taiyaki is ready. You can eat the taiyaki in the shop (without chairs) or on foot. There is now also an Oreo filling and great ice cream. Cash or card payment is possible here. Parking spaces can be found directly in front of the store. There are also parking garages nearby.

Authentic and tasty Takoyaki 😍 I can only recommend. Macha ice-cream in the Takoyaki is amazing.

We tried the matcha ice cream at Bing Go and it was delicious! Unfortunately, we found the taiyaki with matcha cream less successful. We thought that was a shame, but it could of course be due to our personal taste. Next time we definitely want to try the taiyaki with custard cream. Hopefully we like it better! Bing Go is definitely worth a visit for lovers of Japanese sweets.

A primarily takeaway dessert spot serving Taiyaki. We tried the 3-piece Taiyaki combo with a 90 cents rebate. The average waiting time is around 15 minutes, but the Taiyaki is crispy, and the filling is rich. A good snack choice. Update in Dec 2024: Back again 2 months later and this is still one of the most favourite spots for a hearty snack ☺️

I love the freshly made fishshaped cones the ice cream comes in. We tried the taiyaki tai chi; a matcha hojicha mix soft serve. The portion and price are fine in my opinion. Making the batter and making the taiyaki per order is already a lot of extra work and electricity. We also chose some taiyaki with red bean, custard and matcha filling for later.

Delicious. In my opinion it could be a little bigger. The anko filling is very mild. The minus is that you can only pay by card - especially with the sum up device, which has been proven to boycott some cards 🫣

Actually the ice cream is delicious, but the shop is super poorly organized! There is only a small menu and you don't really understand what you can order. The employees also constantly make mistakes and don't really listen to you when you order. If you point out that a mistake has been made, the staff will talk to you stupidly. There is so much space on the wall that you could place a large card with an explanation of how to order. The entrance is really narrow and people are jammed - that could also be improved. Unfortunately, I usually leave the store annoyed because I don't end up getting what I ordered anyway.

Loved seeing the taiyaki being freshly made, it smelled so good! It had a good texture, very slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The matcha flavour of the soft serve ice cream was good too. Very quick service which makes it the perfect spot to grab a quick snack.

The staff was very friendly and we got very fresh Tayaki. Once with matcha and once with red beans. Both super tasty.

I bought taiyaki at this shop in the afternoon. I received something freshly made and piping hot. When you hold it in your hand, it feels smaller than you expected. There was red bean paste in the center, but not on the edges. It's a pity that there are so few red bean paste. The dough tastes like Japanese pancake mix. Although it is different from the taiyaki we eat in Japan, Japanese people are happy to be able to casually eat Japanese food (Japanese sweets). I'm looking forward to the next one!

We had two taiyaki with sweet filling (red bean paste and matcha). We personally liked the red bean filling more. The waiting time was okay, considering that some people had queued. Everything is freshly prepared. Only card payment is possible.

An exceptional ice cream parlor. Matcha flavored ice cream is definitely out of the ordinary and anyone who likes matcha in different variations will love this ice cream. A real eye-catcher here - in addition to the classic version in a cone or a cup - is of course the option to order the ice cream in dough shaped like a fish. The team works routinely and quickly, so you don't have to wait long, even with larger gatherings of people. Small downer: Unfortunately, it's relatively small and therefore sometimes a bit crowded. Important note: Payment is only possible digitally (card or smartphone app).

It’s a cute little store and there was a long queue but things moved pretty quick! The red bean Taiyaki was so so good (MADE FRESH) and the matcha+Hojicha mix taiyaki soft ice cream was superb. The ice cream went all the way down the taiyaki which was very filling and worth the money 👍🏻 Just note that there’s no tables inside, it’s more of a takeaway spot

I ordered red bean shaved ice and got Alps.

We tried the Taiyaki. They are always freshly prepared, which is why there can be long waiting times. Quite tasty in itself, but for me personally it just tasted like a normal fish-shaped waffle; the fillings were also rather subtle. You can do it.

We usually buy the filled mini taiyaki there regularly because they are freshly prepared. Red beans and vanilla. This time there were new employees and unfortunately less friendly than usual. This can be attributed to the stress. However, the taiyaki were not filled, the filling was literally just scraped off like with a used spoon. Unfortunately this time it was just dough, otherwise they are always very well filled. I'll do an edit next time I'm back to let you know if it was just a one-time thing.

Houjicha was an amazing flavor. The fish shaped waffle was fun and delicious . They take card only. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English.

On Saturday we were on the way home from our vacation and made a stopover in Düsseldorf. In the late afternoon we strolled through the Japanese quarter and discovered that this shop was open. Unfortunately, on our last visit to Düsseldorf, we were there at the wrong time because it was closed. Despite the long queue, we decided to wait as we really wanted to try the ice cream with the "fish-shaped" waffle. A young lady served us and explained everything to us in a very friendly manner. The waffle/fish was super fresh and we also really enjoyed the ice cream. The portions were more than sufficient. We would love to come back on our next visit to Düsseldorf, we want to try the other ice cream flavors.

Taiyaki fresh from the griddle, still hot when you get it. We went for the caramel cookie one and one with matcha cream filling. Both great, even the cookie itself has good flavour. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, not too sweet. They also offer a large selection of specialty drinks and soft serve ice cream.

You can do it. Everything is constantly prepared fresh and it smells absolutely great. The ice cream waffles are prepared so that they can cool down. The taiyaki are fresh from the iron and still super warm. We had Vanilla Custard and it was really different from Japan. The cream there was always very thick, almost like pudding. In this shop it was quite liquid and seeped into the dough and was gone. The product looks good but the taste doesn't blow me away. I've had the vanilla ice cream twice and it's okay, but there are better ones. Because it looks good, but I'm not entirely impressed with the taste, I would try other things next time to see if I like them better.

Ube Yam soft ice cream is delicious! My first time to try this type of ice cream and totally enjoyed. Not too sweet 👌 However, inside there was no AC or proper ventilation. I felt sorry for people to work in such conditions. Despite having no fresh air inside, staff were friendly and fast with service.

Waffle batter is really delicious, and so is the ice cream! But €6.50 delicious? 🧟‍♂️ So it was freshly prepared, I didn't have to wait in line (2 p.m. Saturday) and I got it quickly. The ice is melting quickly. Really fast. But there is a lot inside. Now that I think about it, the 6.50 is okay. A scoop of ice cream also costs 1.80. And the contents of the fish were already 3 balls? Warmest recommendation!

The taiyaki are really delicious and are freshly filled and made. The ice cream was Houjicha/Matcha instead of Tai-Chi, but still very tasty. There was even a small biscuit included. Unfortunately you can't sit down properly on site. After ordering there is a beeper so that the shop is not clogged.
