The best meat I ever taste! Best cookfor the ribeye steak! The smoothest tartar!

I was here recently and tried the chili BBQ burger with Wagyu meat - simply sensational! The burger was perfectly cooked, the Wagyu meat was incredibly tender and juicy. The combination of the spicy chili sauce and the melty cheese was just right without overpowering the flavor of the meat. The rolls were also fresh and rounded off the overall picture perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and relaxed. I will definitely come back!

The burger is delicious and the portion is just right. It tastes good in general or with beef steak. I like the fries which are a mixture of sweet potato and potato! Apart from the limited selection of non-alcoholic drinks, there are no shortcomings and the environment is very comfortable.

I give it 4 out of 5 points because you should just remember that it is just a better snack. In fact, I find the burgers and rosemary fries (mixed sweet and normal potatoes) really appetizing and delicious - the meat comes from the traditional Hamburg butchery Beisser, luckily you can taste it, and you can choose the cooking level (well done, medium, rare ) choose! The ambience is functional and very clean, and in summer there is an outdoor terrace. The service is impeccable - courteous and friendly. But: Simply putting €22 on the table for a "hollow tooth" is something I'm now thinking twice about (cheeseburger €12, fries €5.50 + "homemade" sauces at €1.50 each [as of: 2024]), plus a water or an apple spritzer for €3 - that's really steep overall, even if the soft drinks are reasonably priced for a city center location.

I think this is the best burger in town. My favorite burger is the Paartanz Burger. Unfortunately very unknown and a bit hidden.

I only visited one burger spot whilst in Hamburg, but it will be difficult to top this restaurant. I got the Strammer Max with double wagyu patties, it was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The fried egg was a nice addition to the burger too. I liked how their fries include sweet potato, they went well with the honey bbq sauce. The food was prepared in a timely manner and there are plenty of seats in the restaraunt. I would definitely recommend visiting here.

We found it by chance and really enjoyed the taste of their burger. It is on the top floor of a shopping center we were walking through and it was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the two boys were very friendly.

Good burgers, and expensive, excellent fries too. At almost 28 euros for a single patty wagyu and fries it had better be.

Super friendly service - top location under the roof in Alsterhaus with a small terrace. We come here every time we visit Hamburg and have never been disappointed! The burgers are always perfect for our taste 🙌

OMG the best burger of my life. I had the Cheeseburger with Wagyu patty that was absolute perfection, the other is the chilli burger with Wagyu patty which was also amazing. The chips are a fun mix of normal and sweet potato fries which we paired with delicious smoked mayonnaise. Topped off with great friendly service, I know I'll be dreaming of this burger 😍

2024.07.22: had burger and fries here for lunch. Seriously saying, it was the best patty I've had in Hamburg. Also as a whole, the burger was great, very nicely put together. Taste and texture was on point perfectly. Somehow I prefer other types of burgers usually, but strictly objectively looking, it's an amazing burger. Fries were mixture of sweet potatoes and normal ones, also really good and decent portion. Not cheap, was something like 17 euros. But the place was pretty empty during lunchtime.

I really liked it here...the burger (chilli barbecue) was really delicious. I also had the fries with the smoked mayonnaise. It was also really tasty and I can only recommend it😁 The service was super nice and the atmosphere was relaxed. The ambience was ok... I found that to be rather normal, but I was there for the food anyway... The prices are higher, but the burger with the side dishes was worth it...I will definitely go there again

The burger (cheeseburger) was below average. The Brioche was too toasted and not fluffy, the meat was perfectly medium but nothing special taste wise. There are definitely much better burger places in Hamburg. The service was fast but did not manage to create a welcoming environment.

It is a site that seems overrated to me; I mean, I think in Spain you can find better and cheaper burgers. It's true that the waygu burger is very good, but I'm not sure it's worth overpaying. They also charge you for sauces on the fries, which is not a nice touch.

I have countless things to talk about. The first of them is that this was definitely the best burger I've ever eaten in my LIFE. I ordered it with wagyu beef, what a juicy, tasty meat. the burger is very well done. I had never eaten such a delicious burger. Another important point was the friendliness I received, thank you very much guys. The boys are extremely friendly and receptive. I wish there was a burger joint next to my house, maybe it's better not to because I would lose my diet every day. I thought it was fantastic that he has some of their CC, which is actually delicious. I could say that I would come back a thousand times because of the service, but not only that, the burger is really good. I only went to visit this place because of the reviews here and I tell you this is really what everyone says. 1000 stars!! All the success in the world to you boys. Nearly €60 for two burgers, a single beer, a bottle of Stillwater and one order of fries. Burger came out cold, and not to order. I ate the burger thinking it was prepared before my partner’s so it must have cooled off. Regardless the burger tasted mediocre at best, despite having a pink inside, there was clearly no salt or pepper or any sort of seasoning on this beef tartare patty. Here I am two days later purging every ounce from my GI tract from both sides. Miserable feeling, and I have not come to regret a food choice more than this before.

I'm here right now. 6:55pm and I'm told the store is no longer open. There are a few people eating there and the opening times are until 8 p.m. This is totally disappointing

Wir waren doch recht enttäuscht von der angebotenen Qualität. Das Fleisch gar nicht gewürzt. Weder der Cheeseburger noch der Chili BBQ. Auch das ausgeschrieben Rosmarinsalz bei den Fritten haben wir nicht geschmeckt. Das Bun war mittelmäßig. Für das Gebotene total überteuert.

Burgers ar good enough, but atmosphere is horrible - deserted bar, no music, waiter was gone, so cook the order, takes wrong order, shopping center feeling. Would not come back.

Billy the Butcher überzeugt durch erstklassiges Fleisch, insbesondere das US Prime Ribeye - ein Geschmackserlebnis der Extraklasse. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, modern und gepflegt. Der Service ist stets freundlich. Das Mittagsmenü mit den drei kleinen Steaks und Pommes ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Muss für Steak-Enthusiasten!

Wir hatten den crispy chicken burger und dazu einen Gin Tonic. Besser kann man einen Tag in der Innenstadt nicht abschließen. Burger war super lecker und der Service war toll!

Mega lecker + frisch, toller Service, Dachterrasse mit Blick über Hamburg... es lohnt sich nach einem Bummel in Hamburg und im Alsterhaus einen Stopp bei Billy zu machen. Pattys sind frisch und nach Wunsch gebraten, hat bei uns gepasst. Brioche etwas zu knusprig aber lecker, Ob es nun der beste Burger in HH ist kann ich nicht wirklich sagen - aber der Ausblick bei gutem Wetter von der Dachterrasse ist neben dem super freundlichen Service einen Besuch wert. Pommes leider nur gemischt bestellbar, wer keine Süßkartoffeln mag braucht nicht bestellen, Portion ist nicht besonders groß und bei uns mind 50% Süßkartoffeln. Trüffelmayo wie auch inzwischen bei anderen Läden, aber gut. Extras wie Ei, Bacon oder 2. Patty sind möglich gegen Aufpreis. Den Herren würde ich immer ein zweites Patty empfehlen, da 110g sehr wenig sind. Dann ist aber auch der Preis am oberen Limit angekommen. Ob es Wagyu sein muss... wir haben kaum einen Unterschied geschmeckt, nochmal würde ich es daher nicht bestellen. Innenbereich eher schlicht und Typ Imbiss daher meine Empfehlung eindeutig für gutes Wetter draußen an einem der 5 Tische mit Ausblick.

Sehr guter Burger! Hatte den Wagyu-Cheeseburger, der Zart war und durch die karamellisierten Zwiebeln gut abgerundet wurde. Auch das Personal war super freundlich, allerdings leider allein gelassen im vollen Abendgeschäft. Das Ambiente ist im Alsterhaus, dafür ist es dann doch ganz schön.

Der beste Burger in Hamburg? Ich glaube so ist es! Habe den strammen max mit einem Wagyupaddy genommen. Richtig gutes Zeug. Preise sind, gemessen an der Qualität des Essens, gut bis günstig. Wenn ich Mal wieder in Hamburg bin, komme ich gerne wieder. Personal war auf Anhieb sympathisch, weil so freundlich und hilfsbereit bei der Beratung.

Best burger I’ve tried in a long while and more particularly in continental Europe. Writing this comment after having eaten here 1 year apart, and it was the same excellent taste and quality of creation. Everything from the bun to the patty has been thought of and aligned in taste to create an truly excellent experience. Both the chili and cheeseburger were amazing. The truffle mayo is a must try.

Sehr teuer für das was geboten wird. Dazu war der Burger mit Soße getränkt. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen. Aber: Lob an den sehr netten Service!

Ein Gaumenschmaus der Extraklasse! Bewertung: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ich war kürzlich bei Billy the Butcher in Hamburg und habe dort einen Burger probiert - und was soll ich sagen? Es war ein absoluter Genuss! Der Burger war perfekt zubereitet und der Geschmack war einfach sensationell. Das saftige, handgemachte Patty war auf den Punkt gegrillt und mit einer köstlichen Gewürzmischung verfeinert. Dazu kam eine Auswahl an frischen und knackigen Zutaten wie frische Tomaten, knuspriger Salat und karamellisierte Zwiebeln, die dem Burger eine wunderbare Geschmackskombination verliehen. Die Brioche-Brötchen waren herrlich fluffig und haben den Burger geschmacklich abgerundet. Auch die Portion Pommes frites, die ich dazu bestellt hatte, war perfekt knusprig und würzig. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und waren sehr aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war angenehm und gemütlich, perfekt für einen entspannten Burger-Abend. Ich kann Billy the Butcher jedem Burger-Liebhaber wärmstens empfehlen. Durch eine Empfehlung eines Freundes wurde ich auf die Lokalität aufmerksam. Schön gestaltetes Restaurant mit netten und aufmerksam Personal. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und gut gestaltet, die Preise mehr als fair. Ich muss gestehen, ich esse öfter Burger und diese ist in meinen top3. Das Fleisch war super, der Burger harmonisch auf den Fleisch Geschmack abgestimmt. Ich war sehr zufrieden und freue mich auf das nächste Mal.🍔

Simple but Delicious. Nicht viel Schnick Schnack, sondern einfach gute Burger aus Premium Wagyu Beef. Dazu ein Mix aus Süßkartoffel und normamen Pommes und eine geniale Rauch-Mayo, was will man mehr?! Der Service war sehr gut und konnte alle Fragen beantworten. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Essen war exakt wie bestellt inkl. aller Extrawünsche. Hier gibt es Burger, die ihres Gleichen suchen, wirklich lecker. Die gute und herzliche Bedienung war klasse, authentische wohlige Atmosphäre. LG die Jungs vom doppelt gewischten Fensterplatz 😀

Super freundliches Service. Die Burger waren auch sehr lecker. Wie versprochen waren sie wirklich medium gebraten. Das Fleisch war sehr zart. Die Zwiebel im Burger waren für mich ein kleines Highlight. Wo noch Optimierungspotential nach oben besteht: Bei den Buns. Diese erinnern mich eher an eine Semmel. Leider nicht so fluffig wie ich persönlich sie am liebsten habe. Ein anderes kleines Detail - ich hatte den Spicy BBQ Burger. Nur von Spicy war gar nichts zu schmecken. Er war tendenziell sehr süß. Da könnte man noch an den Saucen und der Balance im Burger feilen.

The highlight of the meal were the burgers, which were absolutely delicious. The CHEESEBURGER with WAGYU–BEEF PATTY & STEAK STREIFEN was juicy and melted in my mouth, while the PASTRAMI BURGER had a lot of pastrami and was very flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic and juicy burger.

Tenía ganas de visitar a Billy the Butcher durante un viaje reciente a Hamburgo después de leer que era uno de los mejores lugares de hamburguesas de la ciudad. Esta es una pequeña sucursal en el lujoso centro comercial Alsterhaus. Fiel a su palabra, las hamburguesas estaban deliciosas. La carne Wagyu está disponible si quieres algo un poco más elegante. Las patatas fritas también estaban bien y había una selección razonable de bebidas. Recomiendo a Billy si quieres una experiencia gastronómica informal pero no quieres comprometer la calidad de la comida.

Ya conocíamos la tienda / restaurante de Altona, pero no sabíamos que tenían este pequeño restaurante en el último piso del Alsterhaus. Aparentemente, su carne proviene directamente de la tienda y sus hamburguesas Hosteiner Wagyu Beef son verdaderas asesinas (tuvimos la hamburguesa con queso, el Strammer Max y la barbacoa fría). También compartimos un tártaro de ternera como entrante y estaba muy bien sazonada. Servicio eficiente y precios justos por la calidad.

Enfrentémoslo: a 8, 50 euros, dudo seriamente si encontrarás una mejor hamburguesa en Hamburgo. Son simplemente increíbles. Gran sabor. Cocinado a la perfección y servido en un delicioso bollo. Este lugar en el piso superior de Alsterhaus es genial!

Wagyu-Burger. Dreiundzwanzig €URo. Das butterweiche Fleisch zerläuft einem auf der Zunge. Aber sonderlich aromatisch ist es nicht. Ohne Bacon wäre es geschmacklich langweilig.

habe spontan im Alsterhaus Billy the butcher ausprobiert. Habe mir den Chili BBQ Burger mit Pommes und Trüffelmayonaise bestellt + Wasser= 16€ ist ok finde ich = im Verhältnis zu den sonstigen Angeboten im Alsterhaus fast ein Schnäppchen. Das Personal war freundlich man kann direkt in die Küche schauen. Ich würde hier nochmal essen.

Nous sommes venus pour déguster un bon hamburger fait maison et quel fut notre surprise en arrivant il est vrai 12 minutes avant la dernière commande de la cuisine mais 42 minutes avant la fermeture , la serveuse nous a annoncer qu'il n'avait plus de pain pour les commandes et que de toute façon la cuisine aller fermer. Nous sommes très déçu et nous avons dus nous rabattre sur un autre restaurant à la dernière minute. Pas sympa. Une soirée de gâcher

Beim Einkaufsbummel im Alsterhaus entdeckten wir das Billy für Burger. Wir wählten die Billy's Cheeseburger mit Salat. Sehr lecker. Hochwertiges saftiges Beef gut abgeschmeckt und gewürzt. Service sogar am Tisch und ausgenprochen freundlich. Allerdings stehen die Tische dicht beieinander. Man fühlt sich beengt. Das Essen entschädigt dafür.

Die Burger als auch Steaks (nicht in jeder Filiale verfügbar) sind der Hammer. Es gibt leider in HH nicht viele Bräter die lecker Burger machen können.

Die Mischung zwischen guten frischen und abgehangenem Fleisch macht den Unterschied. Saftig und butterweich ist das Patty. Besucht das Lokal und lasst von euch hören.

Zum Glück gab es aber ein Schaufenster, dass uns den Weg wies. Mit dem Fahrstuhl ging es dann in den Burgerhimmel. Das Wetter war schön und wir hatten Glück und durften auf der sonnigen Terrasse Platz nehmen. Übersichtliche Speise- und Getränkeauswahl, aber dafür sehr gut. Freundliches Personal, dem man beim zubereiten der Speisen zusehen kann. Wir können Billy - the butcher nur weiterempfehlen.

Da quando abbiamo provato il Burger di Billy the Butcher, difficilmente mangiamo burger in altri locali ad Amburgo. E' tutto preparato da loro, a partire dal pane e ad arrivare alle salse. Le cipolle caramellate, uno degli ingredienti del burger, sono qualcosa di eccezionale, hanno un sapore molto delicato che sposa benissimo con tutto il resto. Vi consiglio di provare anche le patatine fritte; io le prendo sempre con la salsa al tartufo.

Im Alsterhaus ganz oben übersieht man diese Perle der Hamburger-Kunst leicht. Das sollte man nicht tun, super schöne und leckere Burger und eine schöne Dachterrasse sind allemal Wert besucht zu werden.

Rigtigt gode burgere baseret på gode råvarer. Vi spiste der kl.20 og vi var de eneste kunder. Vi fik en super sød og venlig betjening. Vi kommer igen!
