We had a pleasant night in Grill Idol 🫠

Calling a piece of super tough, dripping fat, tasteless piece of tofu a "soy patty" is a joke. Selling this extremely poor vegetarian alternative for the same price as the meat burger takes the whole thing up a notch. Bottom bun hard and dry. Worst burger in Hamburg so far. Really inedible, didn't finish the burger. Once and not again.

Super tasty, prices ok, location great, service very friendly

We've been coming here for years because the burgers are simply very good, the staff is always friendly and you can just come and relax without having to plan weeks in advance. But with the new Cajun fries they have outdone themselves, OMG just awesome. Keep it up, Grilly Team!

Delicious burger with tasty meat. Also they have the sloppy sauce for fires which is best fit when you have a jumbo sized burger.

The three of us spontaneously had an early dinner here yesterday. A table was easily pushed together for us and we were warmly served. Both waitresses were friendly and accommodating. We had a CHILI CHEESE BURGER, a GRILLY SMASH BURGER, a BLUECEESE BURGER and once fries. Both the Grilly Smash and the Chili Cheese were solid, but nothing more. Not really a taste experience for this price. The blue cheese burger, however, was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. Really, really delicious. The homemade blackcurrant-mint lemonade was also very tasty and special. However, we noticed that it was quite fresh in the store. That was a bit uncomfortable in the long run. Basically a good shop with some normally good burgers. But there are also real highlights in terms of taste. For the price, it still didn't completely convince us.

Extremely tasty and good range of vegan/vegetarian and even gluten-free dishes - nice and fast staff, highly recommended.

My top stop for delicious, GLUTEN-FREE burgers in Hamburg. I've been there three times (about a 2 hour journey), before concerts or football games, always extremely tasty and the gluten-free rolls are also amazing. Ambience relaxed and casual, the lunch menu is a great option for a cheap, tasty menu. Fries and meat always top notch, I can't find enough good words for the shop :) Definitely worth a visit! (Photo is from the lunch table - gluten-free hamburger - = smaller portion at a reasonable price, outside of this the portions are larger)

If you want to eat a really good burger, you can't ignore Grilly Idol. Similar in price to Peter P. & Co. but in terms of quality, I think it's a step up, a straight 6 out of 5!

The restaurant offers really good and tasty burgers. The side dishes were also very tasty and there was nothing missing. What is particularly worth mentioning is that you can get gluten-free burgers and gluten-free beer here. I didn't really like the atmosphere in the restaurant; it had a bit of the charm of a train station hall. All in all, you can eat well here and we would love to come back.

A very tasty burger shop with good service and a great ambience. We were there with 12 people and all wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The waiting times were perfect, so we could really enjoy the time. The patties were juicy and tasty. We'd love to come back.

The burgers are tasty, the meat tastes very good, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the fries taste quite good too. The only negative point: the prices. They are simply priced way too high, especially when you consider the ambience and small portion sizes. Top quality, but value for money is simply not there.

In this very lively neighborhood, this address is worth a stop. The setting is nice and the food is good, the burgers are original and quality (special mention for the teriyaki with perfectly integrated Asian influences!). You can accompany it with house beer for a reasonably priced dinner.

Very, very tasty hamburgers - also possible gluten-free. Unfortunately the gluten-free rolls were empty last night.

Beyond Meat burgers were fantastic. Available upon request and with an additional charge of €3. The fries and sweet potato fries were also fried to perfection. Portions were very generous. The Cola/Spezi weren't quite to our taste. The toilets smelled like vomit. So it's best to sit far away. :-)

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen! Burger und Süsskartoffelpommes kamen sehr schnell und waren geschmacklich ein Highlight! Einzig der Kaffee war etwas dünn geraten und der Espresso etwas kalt, dafür wurde er aber auf der Rechnung erlassen! Absolut gute Empfehlung!

Best gluten-free smash burger in Hamburg

Was here for the first time in 2018. Now on our second visit in 2024 we can say that it is still as tasty and quick as ever. Always happy to come back to Hamburg :)

The veggie burgers were incredible, of all the burgers I ate in Hamburg it was the best! The service was perfect, no complaints there. On the other hand, we were outside and there was a slight smell of sewage that came sometimes... they can't do much about it unfortunately but if you go there, stay inside in my opinion.

Food and service great, ambience ok but unfortunately the background noise is far too loud.

Our burgers were very tasty (two slightly salty, but still ok), the fries were also great, everything was beautifully prepared! Prices are high like everywhere else, but that doesn't change anymore. The ambience was as expected on Pauli, noticeably clean, so we liked it very much. The service was ultra nice and courteous, a prime example for many other restaurants!

Delicious citizens and fries, but in my opinion the price is worth it. I had the Citizen for 18 euros and wasn't tired of it, another french fries for 5 euros. a few fries for 5 euros. Everything was delicious but the portions could be larger, especially with fries which don't cost anything in the restaurant. Mayo and ketchup cost extra :( for me it's 5 euros. With a drink it's just under 27 euros. I think it's a lot for a citizen's "menu" Unfortunately, the service didn't even ask if it was tasty or if you wanted something to drink (drink left empty on the table for a long time)

The prices are exorbitantly high, the bread is bad and doesn't taste good. I can't recommend it. Apart from that, I recommend an army of exorcists for the whole of Hamburg

Super good burger restaurant with a very good selection of food - not too much and not too little. The prices are more than fair. Super friendly staff. We had dinner with 9 people, the food all came at the same time and was very tasty. The black bean pattis are highly recommended!

We reserved a table for 7 people for May 24th, 2024, at the beginning of the year. On May 24th at 12 p.m. I got a call that it was Schlagermove and that we couldn't come in there today in disguise. Would we have the opportunity to change beforehand?! What's wrong with you?????? We've been thrilled so far and have been there many times... but that's it for now.

The burger and fries were good but nothing special I have to say. There is enough choice. Service was a bit slow even though there wasn't that much going on. The ambience while sitting outside was nothing outstanding. So I think there are cool burger shops there.

My favorite burger in Hamburg ⚓️

The place is very nice, perhaps some of the tables seem a little small for two people. The service is basic but courteous, the discordant note is that a little too lightly it tries to sell you something more without clarifying the conditions exactly. In the end, this way the cost goes up a lot. However, the food is good, specifically the hamburger is tasty but a little small compared to other places, furthermore the variety of the offer is not very imaginative, the sweet potato fries are plentiful. I expected a greater choice of beers but it's still ok. Overall the place is pleasant but compared to the offer it is a bit overpriced.
