The fries were over-fried in every way and drenched in ketchup and mayo—inedible. The burger was okay, but there was too much sauce, making it too greasy. The atmosphere was okay, and the service was friendly. The fries were significantly overpriced.

The menu on google maps is not updated and didn’t have the chance to take a pic. My husband tried this whit beer and said it was really tasty. I like their alcohol free variety. I just wish there was the possibility to have smaller burgers. I tried the walnuts and blue cheese. It was really good. I think the fries were a bit too dried but my husband loved them. The malt vinegar and their sauces are really great. Staff were friendly and music okay.

A very authentic restaurant with beautiful decor, super friendly staff, and incredibly delicious burgers. There's something for everyone here, including vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free options. We were there with our child, and we even had the option of ordering a kids' burger and getting something to color in. Everything was super relaxed. Definitely recommend it :)

Seems to be very popular. We went in without an appointment and got a seat. We were served quickly. The burger selection is quite limited. Unfortunately, it was also far too expensive for the price and size. My Smash Burger was good, but very boring compared to others I've had elsewhere. They almost only serve fries... which you have to order separately. Very monotonous. There are better places where you can get more and better food.

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the burger, I was so hungry and it was far too good to stop for a photo. We'll be back! The price is absolutely justified as good regional products are used.

I've wanted to go here for a long time but unfortunately I was really disappointed. The prices are quite high, but the quality is rather low. The buns were cold when the burger arrived, the patties were crispy but bone dry. With the crispy chicken I only tasted crispy but no chicken. The coleslaw wasn't that great either - all in all it was more of a one-off event for me.

Came across it through Google. And no regrets. Rs doesn't have to be directly on the Reeperbahn. This restaurant is a bit away from the Reeperbahn and the hustle and bustle. (Even if there isn't much going on during the week anyway). The food was excellent and it came very quickly. The food even came before the drinks.

Ambiance is ok, service is friendly but forgetful. Was there with 7 other people, everyone complained about the price/performance, high prices and positions that were far too small. The portion of cabbage salad was cheeky. Burgers were good, unfortunately too small. Unfortunately, my burger was too salty, the kitchen apparently doesn't know the taste of its own sauces and ingredients. Too bad!

There were 5 of us there yesterday. Reservation definitely makes sense. I really liked the atmosphere. Industrial and rustic. I have gluten intolerance and got a very tasty burger with a gluten-free bun, as well as a Lammsbräu, the best gluten-free beer on the market, in my opinion. It's available with and without alcohol, which I also think is really good. I have 2 small suggestions. Firstly, it would be great if there was a grilled chicken burger, as the crispy chicken unfortunately doesn't work due to the gluten-containing breading and secondly, there were no rubbish bags in the hygiene bin or appropriate bags for disposal in the toilet. Overall, it was a delicious and nice experience there and my daughter, who is a vegetarian, also found the black bean patty very tasty. Gladly again!

Cozy burger restaurant within walking distance of the Reeperbahn. There aren't too many tables, so you should definitely make a reservation. The kitchen also closes at 9 p.m., which is quite early in my opinion. Our burgers came quite quickly and tasted excellent. Fries were also sufficient. I just think it's a shame that every single dip that goes with the fries costs at least €1 extra. It was also somehow quite cold in the entire restaurant. The very clean toilets are also positive.

Very tasty burgers and attentive service. The only deduction is for the ambience: it was quite loud and not particularly warm. We had a table at the entrance, which was separated by a thick curtain. But even if no new guests came in, there was an incredible draft at this table (you could also see it in the candle on the table. Ours was constantly flickering, everyone else was very quiet). Nevertheless we would come again.

Sehr gutes Ambiente. Das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich und wirkte sehr geerdet! Es wurde keine Freundlichkeit nur suggeriert. Das glutenfreie Angebot ist hervorzuheben. Das Personal kann mit glutenfreien Gerichten auch umgehen. Damit meine ich, das Kontaminationsgefahren für glutenfreie Speisen vermieden werden. Der glutenfreie Burger schmeckte sehr gut. Das Personal scheint auch zu wissen, was eine Zoeliakie ist und was das für Betroffene bedeutet. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Freundliche Grüße

We are on a road trip and stopped here to eat. Lee was not only extremely friendly but very good at talking english and explaining the menu. I am gluten free and he made sure to tell me everything that was with gluten and what I could order. It was delicious and we are very pleased. Just amazing, thank you Lee for attending us today.

Sehr aufmerksame Frau im Service, hatten einen schönen Tisch, nur sind die Sitzgelegenheiten ungepolstert. Es kamen zuerst ein falscher und ein richtiger Burger, damit wurde aber sehr gut umgegangen und am Ende war ich sehr zufrieden. Anlässlich unseres Jahrestages (haben wir extra angegeben) hätten meine Freundin und ich uns vielleicht eine Kleinigkeit wie ein Dessert zum teilen/ einen Kaffee gewünscht, doch uns wurde nicht mal gratuliert. Daraus schließen wir irgendwie, dass die bei Open Table gemachten Informationen nicht gelesen bzw. im Team geteilt werden. Ich werde definitiv wieder zu Grilly Idol gehen. Das Gesamtpaket stimmt und für Menschen wie mich, die sich glutenfrei ernähren müssen, ist es ein tolle Angebot. Für mich als Wein-Liebhaberin dürfte es gerne noch einen 2. Wein als Alternative auf der Karte geben, aber der Prosecco Frizzante war zum Anstoßen auch gut! Danke an das Team und bis zum nächsten Mal! (-:

Wonderful place. I asked the receptionist in CityHotel Monopol for a restaurant recommendation for burgers, this is where he suggested and it was perfect. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommend and would love to go back again. I'd have never found this place without the recommendation. Also some of the menu options can be substituted for vegan options.
