Very tasty burgers that are also available gluten-free. The staff is friendly, quick and well trained when it comes to celiac disease. Only in the front area was it a little too cold for us given the current outside temperatures around freezing point. Small criticism: no coffee/espresso on the menu. Otherwise perfect :-)

I know the Idols through their little Kiel “sister” Aloha Dogs at the me and all hotel Kiel. That's why I knew before I ordered what to expect and how amazing the food would be. And what can I say... I wasn't disappointed. Fresh, regional products with a great atmosphere and TOP service! Guys, you're doing everything right! See you very soon!

Burger schmeckten lecker waren aber recht klein und deswegen für den Preis eher teuer. Auch Beilagen waren eher teurer und man wurde gerade so satt.

There were 5 of us there yesterday. Reservation definitely makes sense. I really liked the atmosphere. Industrial and rustic. I have gluten intolerance and got a very tasty burger with a gluten-free bun, as well as a Lammsbräu, the best gluten-free beer on the market, in my opinion. It's available with and without alcohol, which I also think is really good. I have 2 small suggestions. Firstly, it would be great if there was a grilled chicken burger, as the crispy chicken unfortunately doesn't work due to the gluten-containing breading and secondly, there were no rubbish bags in the hygiene bin or appropriate bags for disposal in the toilet. Overall, it was a delicious and nice experience there and my daughter, who is a vegetarian, also found the black bean patty very tasty. Gladly again!

Das Preis-Leistung ist sehr „sportlich“. Der Burger ist sehr lecker aber im Verhältnis zu anderen Restaurant klein. Das Restaurant ist rustikal.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort, Service sehr freundlich und das Essen war super viel und Sau lecker.... sollten wir wieder mal in Hamburg sein....kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber leider viel zu teuer. Pommes und Soßen und glutenfreies Brot sind extra zu zahlen. Bedienung war nett, Musik war cool.

Cozy burger restaurant within walking distance of the Reeperbahn. There aren't too many tables, so you should definitely make a reservation. The kitchen also closes at 9 p.m., which is quite early in my opinion. Our burgers came quite quickly and tasted excellent. Fries were also sufficient. I just think it's a shame that every single dip that goes with the fries costs at least €1 extra. It was also somehow quite cold in the entire restaurant. The very clean toilets are also positive.

Nice and fast service. Ambiance was ok (nothing special)... the hip-hop music playing in between was rather annoying. The burgers are not very big but tasty. The fact that they all come in a vegan version is great 🙏🏻. Priced at the upper limit.

Very tasty burgers and attentive service. The only deduction is for the ambience: it was quite loud and not particularly warm. We had a table at the entrance, which was separated by a thick curtain. But even if no new guests came in, there was an incredible draft at this table (you could also see it in the candle on the table. Ours was constantly flickering, everyone else was very quiet). Nevertheless we would come again.

Sehr gutes Ambiente. Das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich und wirkte sehr geerdet! Es wurde keine Freundlichkeit nur suggeriert. Das glutenfreie Angebot ist hervorzuheben. Das Personal kann mit glutenfreien Gerichten auch umgehen. Damit meine ich, das Kontaminationsgefahren für glutenfreie Speisen vermieden werden. Der glutenfreie Burger schmeckte sehr gut. Das Personal scheint auch zu wissen, was eine Zoeliakie ist und was das für Betroffene bedeutet. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Freundliche Grüße

We are on a road trip and stopped here to eat. Lee was not only extremely friendly but very good at talking english and explaining the menu. I am gluten free and he made sure to tell me everything that was with gluten and what I could order. It was delicious and we are very pleased. Just amazing, thank you Lee for attending us today.

Sehr aufmerksame Frau im Service, hatten einen schönen Tisch, nur sind die Sitzgelegenheiten ungepolstert. Es kamen zuerst ein falscher und ein richtiger Burger, damit wurde aber sehr gut umgegangen und am Ende war ich sehr zufrieden. Anlässlich unseres Jahrestages (haben wir extra angegeben) hätten meine Freundin und ich uns vielleicht eine Kleinigkeit wie ein Dessert zum teilen/ einen Kaffee gewünscht, doch uns wurde nicht mal gratuliert. Daraus schließen wir irgendwie, dass die bei Open Table gemachten Informationen nicht gelesen bzw. im Team geteilt werden. Ich werde definitiv wieder zu Grilly Idol gehen. Das Gesamtpaket stimmt und für Menschen wie mich, die sich glutenfrei ernähren müssen, ist es ein tolle Angebot. Für mich als Wein-Liebhaberin dürfte es gerne noch einen 2. Wein als Alternative auf der Karte geben, aber der Prosecco Frizzante war zum Anstoßen auch gut! Danke an das Team und bis zum nächsten Mal! (-:

The Zwickel draft beer offered on the menu was not available ("...is out") and our service was unfriendly. The burger was a bit small but tasty.

Wonderful place. I asked the receptionist in CityHotel Monopol for a restaurant recommendation for burgers, this is where he suggested and it was perfect. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommend and would love to go back again. I'd have never found this place without the recommendation. Also some of the menu options can be substituted for vegan options.

Grilly Idol in Hamburg serves absolutely amazing burgers! The flavors are incredible, the ingredients fresh, and the buns perfectly toasted. Friendly staff and a cool atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for burger lovers. Highly recommend!

I've been going to the Grilly for around 7 years - the sometimes strong fluctuation in the team has been going on for around 2 years, which also affects me as a guest. There is a young (Spanish?!) woman who really always does her best and is very friendly... the rest understand it from my point of view. not really sure what hospitality means. Now there is a new concept that I personally don't really like - the Smukals Juicy Lucy is only available on "secret request" and has been taken off the menu. Too bad.

The Grilly Idol is a good address if you are looking for a delicious burger joint with reservation options. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable, the service is friendly and the food you order is on the table quickly. All burgers are prepared medium to order. The only reason I deducted a star is that there is no option to choose from the buns and the brioche buns were very soft for both me and my counterpart. The store is always full - reservations required. The best way to reach it is via the Reeperbahn S-Bahn and from there it's about a 5-minute walk.

Totally great store. Celiac disease friendly. The Börger are awesome and at such good prices. The size also makes the store special. The ambience “only” got 4 stars because it was a bit too cool, but it wasn’t too bad.

For me it's the jack of all trades among burger shops. Insanely good and tasty burgers. The chili fries are meeega, the truffle fries extremely tasty with real truffles. The service perfect (thanks to the young man on Sunday lunchtime) The shop is beautifully decorated. In summer there is a great garden where you can also order mixed food from the neighboring restaurant! Top

If celiac patients want to get sick, this is the right place. My sister is celiac, cannot consume anything with gluten, and requested gluten-free beer and gluten-free bread. When the burger arrived, he started to eat it but found the onion crumble strange, he went to question the staff and said and done, there was gluten in the onion! This lack of care on the part of staff with food intolerances (as they offer food that claims to be gluten-free) caused a health disorder. For those who are gluten intolerant, I can only say: don't trust this place!!!!

Der Bürger war klein und für 15 Euro ein Witz. Die im Internet angegebene Speisekarte war nicht aktualisiert und entsprechend konnte man das zuhause ausgesuchte Gericht nicht bestellen. Insgesamt war ich sehr enttäuscht und werde den Laden nicht noch einmal aufsuchen.

Wir waren im Grill Idol essen und wurden sehr schnell bedient. Nachdem die Bestellung aufgenommen war wurden uns sehr schnell unsere Burger gebracht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ist weiterzuempfehlen.

Calling a piece of super tough, dripping fat, tasteless piece of tofu a "soy patty" is a joke. Selling this extremely poor vegetarian alternative for the same price as the meat burger takes the whole thing up a notch. Bottom bun hard and dry. Worst burger in Hamburg so far. Really inedible, didn't finish the burger. Once and not again.

We've been coming here for years because the burgers are simply very good, the staff is always friendly and you can just come and relax without having to plan weeks in advance. But with the new Cajun fries they have outdone themselves, OMG just awesome. Keep it up, Grilly Team!

The three of us spontaneously had an early dinner here yesterday. A table was easily pushed together for us and we were warmly served. Both waitresses were friendly and accommodating. We had a CHILI CHEESE BURGER, a GRILLY SMASH BURGER, a BLUECEESE BURGER and once fries. Both the Grilly Smash and the Chili Cheese were solid, but nothing more. Not really a taste experience for this price. The blue cheese burger, however, was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. Really, really delicious. The homemade blackcurrant-mint lemonade was also very tasty and special. However, we noticed that it was quite fresh in the store. That was a bit uncomfortable in the long run. Basically a good shop with some normally good burgers. But there are also real highlights in terms of taste. For the price, it still didn't completely convince us.

My top stop for delicious, GLUTEN-FREE burgers in Hamburg. I've been there three times (about a 2 hour journey), before concerts or football games, always extremely tasty and the gluten-free rolls are also amazing. Ambience relaxed and casual, the lunch menu is a great option for a cheap, tasty menu. Fries and meat always top notch, I can't find enough good words for the shop :) Definitely worth a visit! (Photo is from the lunch table - gluten-free hamburger - = smaller portion at a reasonable price, outside of this the portions are larger)

The restaurant offers really good and tasty burgers. The side dishes were also very tasty and there was nothing missing. What is particularly worth mentioning is that you can get gluten-free burgers and gluten-free beer here. I didn't really like the atmosphere in the restaurant; it had a bit of the charm of a train station hall. All in all, you can eat well here and we would love to come back.

In this very lively neighborhood, this address is worth a stop. The setting is nice and the food is good, the burgers are original and quality (special mention for the teriyaki with perfectly integrated Asian influences!). You can accompany it with house beer for a reasonably priced dinner.

Beyond Meat burgers were fantastic. Available upon request and with an additional charge of €3. The fries and sweet potato fries were also fried to perfection. Portions were very generous. The Cola/Spezi weren't quite to our taste. The toilets smelled like vomit. So it's best to sit far away. :-)

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen! Burger und Süsskartoffelpommes kamen sehr schnell und waren geschmacklich ein Highlight! Einzig der Kaffee war etwas dünn geraten und der Espresso etwas kalt, dafür wurde er aber auf der Rechnung erlassen! Absolut gute Empfehlung!

Was here for the first time in 2018. Now on our second visit in 2024 we can say that it is still as tasty and quick as ever. Always happy to come back to Hamburg :)

The veggie burgers were incredible, of all the burgers I ate in Hamburg it was the best! The service was perfect, no complaints there. On the other hand, we were outside and there was a slight smell of sewage that came sometimes... they can't do much about it unfortunately but if you go there, stay inside in my opinion.

Food and service great, ambience ok but unfortunately the background noise is far too loud.
