Really poor cooking experience. As usual. Another Italian restaurant without knowledge on how to Cook.. in the menù they have pizza Hawaii...shame on them ....

We were there today, and it was wonderful. Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. The pizza was very good, and the lasagna was delicious. We'll definitely be back again.

The food itself is very good, I really like the Spaghetti Aglio é Olio é Pepperochino. I really like dipping the sauce on it. But I don't think €2 for three slices of (cheap) baguette is that great. It's a shame they don't use the pizza dough for the table bread. Then I'm happy to pay the €2 for it.

Pizza is world class in my opinion the best in Munich! The service is also very nice, friendly and effective! You also have a great view of the Viktualienmarkt

The best was the non-alcoholic Augustiner... We visited Bernis Nudelbrett because it was advertised with gluten-free food. From the 3 1/2 page menu there were no less than four (4!) simple pasta dishes that were gluten-free, for €15.90! Pizza?? Unfortunately, the waiter couldn't tell us why this was the case. Then we wanted a gluten-free pasta with a different sauce (carbonara) so the waiter first had to ask if that was possible, the manager then told us that it wasn't possible... where there is contamination in this sauce remains the restaurant's secret. Treating guests like this borders on arrogance because you are at Marienplatz or Stachus, so you have enough tourists and don't have to rely on regular guests. We will never visit the restaurant again and I hope others feel the same way. Positive reviews are answered personally, negative reviews get a standard response (blablabla "we're working on ourselves"blablabla)

The best was the non-alcoholic Augustiner... .had made a reservation yesterday (March 11th) because the restaurant was advertised as having gluten-free dishes. From the approximately 3 1/2 page menu, four simple (in numbers 4) pasta dishes made it into the gluten-free category. Thank God they weren't so "economical" when it came to the price, as a simple pasta dish costs just 15.90. € called... There's no gluten-free pizza...why isn't there one on offer? The waiter also didn't give us this answer. Then we wanted a gluten-free pasta with a different sauce (carbonara). The waiter first had to ask if it was possible, the manager, who came to our table a short time later, said it wasn't possible... Why...,? He couldn't really explain that either...I've been in the catering industry for over 40 years and I'm not the only one who knows that there's no flour in a carbonara... You can only afford such arrogance if you don't need regular customers, but are located on Marienplatz or Viktualienmarkt and are visited by tourists. Please, please visit other restaurants "Bernie's Nudelbrett" doesn't deserve it!! As you can see from the reviews, positive reviews are addressed directly, negative experiences get a standard answer "blah blah we are working on ourselves blah blah" That means I don't need an answer to my complaint because we, and I hope not only we, will avoid the restaurant...

We went to Munich from Center Parcs Allgau for a day and accidentally came across this restaurant. We had delicious pizzas with our 3 children at an excellent price and with great service

Delicious food, reservations strongly recommended!

I was in town for lunch with a friend and found this delicious restaurant near the Viktualienmarkt. The food was great and it was also very nicely decorated. You will also be greeted warmly. The food was delivered quite quickly. And we had a nice seat by the window. They toilets are excuses also very clean. I can only recommend it and would eat there again at any time.

Good food, good value for money...

Service was extremely unfriendly from the first minute, the waiter showed no eye contact at all, a disinterested tone of voice and disturbing body language - actually made you run away from the start. We wanted to share a pizza, but when we happened to read in the menu that there was a 2 euro service charge, we didn't even ask for the second cutlery. Ate with one and the same thing alternately. Absurd!! For us it's not about the money but about the principle. As a visitor you feel uncomfortable and not welcome at all. Food was average. In general we had a very unloving impression of the place. We won't be coming back. Tourist trap!

This resutarant is close to Marienplatz serves really good Italian kitchen and the place is really comfortable. I dont give the 5 stars since the two times I had lunch the waiter were not very friendly, seems they dont feel ok serving non german speakers

Not recommended. After 18 minutes of waiting, we just left the restaurant. The restaurant wasn't full at all, Nikolai, unfortunately the waiter was very unpleasant when we got up from the table.

Food was overall good but no tap water offered which is very annoying in a city like Munich where tap water quality is excellent.

We had dinner with a group of 15 people. Basically the food was good as always. What I don't understand, however, is that small portions cannot be ordered. We had some young girls with us who don't eat a full plate. In this day and age, when everyone is talking about food waste and we are educating our children and young people to use our earth's resources consciously, it is highly questionable that in a group of 15 people 5 plates have to be returned half full, because the young people cannot eat such large portions and small portions are not possible.

Very nice, cozy Italian restaurant in the middle of Munich. The selection of pasta dishes with meat could be a little larger. Otherwise we felt very comfortable, ate deliciously and were served very friendly.

The atmosphere was great, we felt like we were in good hands :) I had the Pizza ai Funghi, which I can highly recommend!

I've never had such a tasteless pizza, so the waitress probably left us the hot sauce at the table, the pizza was extremely thin, the topping was an absolute disgrace, three starved mushrooms, 1 sheet of ham and the worst thing was that my wife didn't even have tomato sauce underneath . I assume that they only have regular customers and once they eat there they probably won't come again.

Top food & super friendly service

One of the best pizzas beyond Lake Garda and in the middle of Germany. If you get a window seat, you have a view of the Viktualienmarkt. If there are two of you, you can find a place. However, it is advisable to make a reservation. There is also a season ticket. The olive oil on site is a hit on the pizza or in the salad.

Food was pretty nice and delivered quickly. However staff was a bit rude at times and even more so after we didn't gave any tips in the end. Also there were quite a few drunkards at the place which ruined the atmosphere quite a bit. One of them just sat down at our table without asking too. All in all it'd say it's not the worst but there definitely also could be some improvement

The food at Bernis Nudelbrett was quite okay. Unfortunately, the desserts didn't taste like they were homemade, which was a little disappointing. Another criticism is that we had to pay two euros extra for a shared pizza just because it was served on separate plates. We were not informed of these costs in advance, and we did not explicitly ask for the second plate. This led to a somewhat negative overall impression.

I recently ate at the Italian restaurant Berni's Nudelbrett and was overall satisfied. The lasagna I ordered was simply delicious – perfectly seasoned and beautifully prepared. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and inviting. It is ideal for groups as you can spend a pleasant time together. The central location on the edge of Munich city center is also ideal for enjoying a delicious meal after a stroll through the city. A small downer was the service. She seemed a bit stressed and wasn't particularly friendly, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. Nevertheless, the delicious food and the great atmosphere saved the experience for me. Overall, I can recommend Berni's Noodle Board, also because of the tasty lasagna and the nice ambience, which is well suited for groups. I'm looking forward to coming back soon and maybe trying another dish!

The food was good but very ungrateful staff.

We ate there for the second time today. However, this time disappointed. The food was good 👍, the staff were also very friendly. We shared a pizza, each a salad, each a drink. For the second plate, which had the other half of the pizza, we had to pay 2 euros. I find that disappointing and won't eat there again. I would have accepted 0.50 cents, but not 2 euros! The whole thing cost 53 euros without a tip.

Spontaneously stopped by in Munich in the evening. Ate very good pizza. Unfortunately there was no longer the canoli that I had planned to try for dessert, so I ordered the (best) tiramisu (I've ever had). As I was leaving, the waiter came up to me with the last canoli so I could try it. Not a given. Therefore an additional 6th star.

Food was really tasty and served quickly. However we felt like it was served quickly to get us out. Mains came as we were still eating our starter. We were told they were closing so will give us the bill. Tables around us were still eating, Atmosphere was fine but the waitress was so moody. She even rolled her eyes at me. I’m not even sure why. I happened to look round, she then came over and said is everything ok. I politely said lovely thank you and she rolled her eyes at me then walked off. She clearly doesn’t like her job and isn’t cut out for customer service. Not the friendly relaxing atmosphere I’d expect for a night out, which is such a shame as the food was good.

Terrible service, rude, unpleasant, not at all professional, inattentive, disorganized. The food is mediocre and really expensive. They can consider themselves lucky to be in the center of Munich, in a great location, because they don't have any other positive aspects. In Italy with such poor quality and such unsuitable staff they would have been closed a long time ago. Absolutely avoid!

Unfortunately the restaurant could not meet my expectations. The selection was very limited and did not meet my expectations. I found it particularly unfortunate that you can't eat cake in the afternoon. While the focus on hot food may be pleasant for some guests, it wasn't right for me personally.

As a long-time resident of Munich, I am always surprised by the still quite positive reviews here. It's expensive, the quality is mediocre for the price, the ambience is getting old, the service is far from friendly and attentive. Only the location right on the Viktualienmarkt is perfect. But it doesn't rip it out. I can only advise against visiting. It's better to go to Xaver's, the Wirtshaus in der Au, the Görreshof, the Georgenhof, the Pschorr at the Schrannenhalle, the La Pizza, the grano or even the Spatenhaus at the opera. All of them are better than Berni’s pasta board.

It was absolutely uncomplicated here. Service was super quick and friendly. The menu has a large selection and the prices are okay too. The food was good, quick and hot. Portion size is also completely ok. Ambiance was also very pleasant, although it could be a bit noisy when the restaurant is full. Overall we were very satisfied :)

Very embarrassingly, five people including two children wanted to have some warm dessert and other food, but were politely asked out by the waiter because it's a restaurant at 4:00 p.m. and if only warm food is accepted for everyone, it's pretty bitter. Then not Bernie's pasta board.

My friend and I found this Italian restaurant in Munich. We went for our first meal of the year and the experience was really good. The menu has a lot of different options including gluten-free or vegan pasta for special requests. The prices are affordable and it’s worth the quantity they serve you and the flavor is really good. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants some good Italian food. The service is kinda cold but I guess in Europe is normal. We ordered a pizza and two pastas and the check was 25 euros each, the dinner was totally worth it. I would definitely come back to this place if I had another opportunity.

We came into this place after walking around Munich for an hour. This place was recommended to us by disreputable Neapolitan people (the two things often coincide but I absolutely don't want to create prejudice). The place itself didn't look too bad but the quality of the pizza was truly unacceptable. Tourist trap, FROZEN PIZZA. ABSURD PRICES. RATING 1/10.😱

Furnished with love and now lovingly decorated in the run-up to Christmas, cozy and just a place to feel good. The service (waitress, exclusively male) lacks a smile on their faces and a spark of enthusiasm for the place. But it's also possible that the boys are in constant stress or that it's part of the restaurant concept.

The place is a bit of a tourist trap. Fairly expensive for the quality of the food.

We like to go there for dinner every now and then. The pasta dishes (spinach/ricotta ravioli, pasta trio) are always really tasty, but we noticed that the portions are getting smaller and smaller while the prices remain the same. Especially with the noodle trio. We really think that's a shame and would like that to change again.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant for dinner and were very satisfied. We had a fresh pasta dish with porcini mushroom sauce and two lasagne. We were thrilled with the portion size, the good taste and the great quality. The staff was very nice and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our order. You can have a good meal here without hesitation.

On a cold December evening, we, a group of four people, wanted to have coffee and dessert at this restaurant. We were placed first. However, when the waiter took our order and learned that we only wanted to order coffee and desserts, he told us that this was not possible. He insisted that we also had to order main courses or leave the restaurant. Eventually we were “kicked out” because we didn’t want to eat anything at that moment. This was a completely disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant!

5 star experience! We discovered this restaurant by chance and stopped in after the Christmas market - and it was a wonderful decision! The pizza and salads were good, fresh and tasty. The absolute highlight, however, was the service: a young waiter (boy cut, longer hair) made our visit something very special. His polite, attentive and friendly manner was exceptional and really impressed us. Since all three of us work in the luxury catering industry, we were really proud of this young man who represents our industry so well. Thank you!

Came here for gluten free pasta. They were quite meticulous to ensure they understood my dairy and gluten allergy, which i appreciated very much. I thought the dish was good flavor snd portion size / it was 15€ in Dec 2024, and I added grilled turkey breast for an 11€ to give it some protein. And yes, the only GF pasta option is a penne pasta, but that worked for me. You can choose between 4 sauces (pomodoro, a spicy tomato sauce, vegetable red sauce, and a pesto). I’d recommend this dish. My husband hit the pasta special which included a side salad. It was much small portion but also cheaper price. This restaurant is located 1 street over from Marienplatz. Nice atmosphere.

I was there with a large group on a Thursday. Service: The service was unable to serve everyone at the same time: some tables were already done eating their dessert while other hadn't order their main dish yet. On a single table, several persons were served dessert while the other were waiting for their main dish. Food: the food ingredients are of good quality but (at least for me) poorly prepared: overcooked steak (ordered "very rare" got some between medium and well-done), tiramisu covered while chocolate powder (the one for hot chocolate drink) instead of cacao powder :-( Atmosphere: luckily, I was with there with enjoyable people :-)

After several attempts to get a table in one of the numerous Bavarian breweries, I found a place in Berni's pasta board. After a wait of almost 15 minutes, I was assigned a small table. I felt like a starter. I chose the beef carpacho. Thinly sliced ​​and served with Grana Padano and fresh white bread. For the main course I was surprised and decided on the Triloggi on the pastry board. A variant of 3 pastas put together by the kitchen. All 3 dishes were good. Macaroni with tomato sauce, baked green tagliatelle and tortelloni with Gorgonzola sauce. The price was OK for the location and portion size. Conclusion: Pasta wasn't my first choice but I liked it

Very busy place, so it seemed promising. I had the house special Spaghetti Carbonara; and it was anything but special. Service was great and quick.

The worst experience in Munich, a lady who works there showed us in when we asked for a table for 2 and told us to choose any table. I don't know why, a bald innkeeper thought we entered without permission and after sitting at the table for 10 minutes he never attended to us. We simply had to stop. I don't know whether to call this attitude racism because my partner and I are phenotypically Latino.

Excellent location in the center of the Viktualienmarkt, but fewer tourists than expected. I often went there as a child with my Italian nonna, and I'm happy that he's been serving there unchanged for almost 50 years. We had an extremely good and unusual pumpkin pizza, and a less exciting calzone. A very nice and approachable young man served, the place was packed. Nevertheless, we got a table after about 10 minutes without a reservation. Surprisingly young audience, but still well mixed. Beautiful view of the Viktualienmarkt.

Pizzas and desserts are delicious

We had really delicious pasta and an ice cream sundae. The sauce was really delicious and even my friend with celiac disease was able to eat gluten-free pasta there. The service was humorous and courteous, very nice! The area is also beautiful and the restaurant fits well into the overall picture. We'd love to come back when we're back in Munich.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The pizza was good too. Pana cotta very tasty. Due to the holiday and family celebrations there was just a bit of chaos and high noise levels.

Nice, traditional Italian restaurant, ideal for a family meal. However, the spaghetti aglio e olio with prawns had an extremely strong garlic flavor, which made the dish difficult to enjoy. Garlic is of course desired here, but it was really overdone and too salty. The Prosecco was initially uncarbonated and tasted stale; However, after a friendly request, I was served a new glass. The service was very friendly.

We went to this restaurant at the beginning of November 2024 because we were looking for gluten-free pasta for my 3 year old. A little hesitant as it is difficult, but not very rare, to find an Italian restaurant that remains faithful to our cuisine, but we were, however, very satisfied. The food was super tasty. The three pasta variants are recommended, were absolutely delicious and you can definitely say in advance what you don't want. The noodles with shrimp were a bit spicy, but still tasty and the minute steak also tasted great. Price-performance ratio definitely fits.

Unfortunately, the Pizza Amici can only be described as just average. 4 thin slices of hot salami, 3 slices of ham and a bunch of greens definitely don't justify a price of €18.50. The three stars are only because the bruschetta was very good.

Very tasty food! I always enjoy dining at this restaurant. I’ve tried different dishes and all were delicious. It’s one of those places I love for either a date night or to bring my family/friends for food that never disappoints. The service has been good every time I have visited (more than 5 times).

My wife and I usually visit Berni’s over the weekend. It has become one of our favourite spots for lunch! Quality of food is really good and great location. You can usually find a place to be seated however better to make a reservation.
