I ate a Swabian plate there. For €24 and up, I expected at least homemade spaetzle. Unfortunately, the decorations were just thrown on top without much care, and the pork was still bloody inside. The portions weren't particularly large either. Unfortunately, it's not a particularly special restaurant in my opinion...

No. Unfortunately, even with a larger group, you'll be "kicked out" of the beer garden after two hours. It's all about throughput here. Better to find a place where you can spend the whole evening.

We were in the side room, with seating that was too close together and absolutely unacceptable acoustics. Conversation was almost impossible. We'll never go back to that side room again. Despite our requests, we weren't given a table in the main room.

Over 1.5 Hours of Waiting – No Apology I went to the Berghof with my family because we'd always had good experiences. This time we reserved a table right when the restaurant opened. Everything went well at first. But after a long wait, we wondered where our food was – after all, it wasn't really busy at that point. We didn't think anything of it at first, because good food takes time. However, when more than an hour had passed, we asked about it and received only a rude response. The waitress showed little interest in customer satisfaction. As more and more guests arrived – some an hour after us – and received their food before us, we became increasingly annoyed. After repeated inquiries, the waitress' responses only became more rude. We weren't offered any compensation, such as a free drink – despite the fact that guests who arrived an hour after us had already received their food while we continued to wait. After more than 1.5 hours and several inquiries, our food finally arrived. It wasn't bad, but to be honest: for the money you pay, the taste wasn't anything special. A gesture from the waiter or the restaurant? None. We didn't even receive an apology. We left – and won't be back. Addendum: Dear Mr. Foag, Thank you for your feedback. I have described my experience objectively to convey a realistic picture of my visit as we experienced it. We didn't "coerce" anyone, unless you count asking questions. I find emotional comments like yours, as well as the accusation that tears were deliberately used, out of place and unprofessional. I find this disrespectful and inappropriate – especially since no one can or should judge a person's personal or health situation. Criticism is part of the public operation of a restaurant – just like treating guests respectfully, even when opinions differ. I'm happy to continue sharing my experiences with you. We went out to dinner for our silver wedding anniversary. The table was lovingly decorated, and a lovely saying was written on a chalkboard. The staff was friendly and attentive, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. We felt very comfortable.

A disaster. The waiter was completely disorganized and not particularly friendly. No communication. The food came quickly, but the currywurst was only lukewarm and swimming in curry sauce. When we wanted to pay, the waiter threw the bill on our table as he walked past, saying, "Come right away. Never again!!!!!" Oh yeah, and all that for €36 for two currywursts and two beers, pretty outrageous 🤮

The food was excellent and the beer garden is lovely. However, the waiter at the front desk was awful. The greeting was brusque, and the seating assignment was rude. You feel like a beggar. I will avoid this place in the future.

This is a typically Bavarian, cozy inn with delicious food. The ingredients used are all sourced from the surrounding area. We'll definitely be back! The only downside: it was quite loud because it was full... but it's a good thing the Berghof is full on a Tuesday evening.

Die Qualität des Essens hat sich gegenüber früheren Besuchen nachgelassen. Die Spätzle waren versalzen. Ein bestellter Beilagensalat wurde nicht serviert, aber verrechnet. Ein Espresso erst nach wiederholter Aufforderung serviert.

We had added a chair and that was uncomplicated, although it was a disadvantage for the other visitors at the other table because our people always had to get up so that they could go out. A good restaurant in itself. Food tastes good. Prices are still unjustified for the given service. Unusual service and unobjective in communication with the guest. If you question the prices and/or have a problem with the food, you will be personally attacked. Your own eating and shopping behavior is criticized. Comparisons are made unobjectively. The waiter talks the customers into the ground. No attempt is made to find an appropriate solution. "Eat or die." €20 for a palm-sized schnitzel with 17 fries and €7.50 for a side salad. Any argument with “quality” doesn’t help. Even if the staff weighs each schnitzel exactly according to the waiter, someone probably can't do the math. For me this was the last visit (after a few visits). I have never experienced such an unfriendly service employee. I was still at a loss for words during the conversation. Admittedly, you just have to read the entrepreneur's answers on TripAdvisor. In real life he's even more confident; he's probably unobjective everywhere. It's a shame that there's no way to deal with such failures. I felt very personally attacked. As long as you don't criticize it, it's probably a good shop. It's better to put your personal interests aside. You don't want to be attacked.

If you appreciate excellent service and outstanding cuisine, the Berghof restaurant is the right place for you. With a bit of luck we managed to get two seats at a table for 6 at 6 p.m. Already at the reception you could feel the positive, friendly atmosphere. The service is truly at the highest level - professional, courteous and with a keen sense of needs. When I ran out of croquettes but there was still heavenly sauce left, an attentive waiter unceremoniously brought me bread. I had something with “strong or spicy bull” and reported a real taste experience. The kitchen knows how to transform fresh, high-quality ingredients into artistic dishes that not only impress visually, but also impress in terms of taste. In my opinion, the Berghof restaurant deserves 7 stars for the outstanding quality of the cuisine and service. A visit is a culinary experience that you won't forget in a hurry - highly recommended!

Absolutely ridiculous experience. We reserved a table for two online for Valentine's Day as we had our first date there years ago. The grumpy waiter led us to a communal table without comment; there was no setting. Cards slapped down and disappeared again. When asked, they said it was busy and there was only this space available, even though some tables for two were still free. We then left without eating. It can happen that too many seats have been reserved or something has been spilled, but a bit of friendliness and communication would be welcome in the service. Waiting wouldn't have been a problem for us, but after the experience that was it for us with this restaurant.

I wanted to meet up with old friends there again for a cozy dinner. Since it has been a while since the last meeting, it is to be expected that the joint discussions will take a little longer. However, when reserving a table (online), we are clearly informed that we are “allowed” to vacate the field after 1.5 hours. However, a restaurant that tells me how long I can stay seated is an absolute no-go for me. Then somewhere else.

Seit längere Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen - was soll man sagen: mega! Tolle, extrem leckere gut bürgerliche Gericht immer mit dem gewissen Etwas. Spitzenmässige Nachspeisen haben einen tollen Abend perfekt abgerundet. Danke auch für den perfekten Service!

A great Bavarian eatery! The traditional cuisine is a dream - from the crispy pork knuckles to the fluffy dumplings. The portions are generous, the beer is freshly tapped, and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. The staff is warm and attentive. Absolutely deserves 5 stars!

We are repeat offenders and always enjoy coming back, even after traveling 27km. Dogs are also allowed to visit. We really enjoyed the food, service and the Christmas theme again.

Eating like you used to eat with grandma or mom. Here the food tastes exactly how it should taste. Taste wise a 10 out of 10. Plus a top service team. Simply worth every euro. We are already looking forward to the next time.

After our previous visit to the Riegele the day before, we ended up here at the Berghof. With around 10 people, we had a wide range of food in our order. What can I say: worlds better than Riegele. The food simply tastes like grandma's. Made with love, hearty and hearty. Decent portions, just about reasonable prices and great, quick-witted service :D. We'll definitely be back!

The Zwiebelrostbraten is absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce and crispy onions were great. The Käsespätzle was the best one I ever tasted! The Kellerbier was also very yummy.

Good home-style Swabian cuisine of solid quality with friendly service... we were in the next room, which was great for us because it was quieter than in the restaurant.

The food itself was O.K. The currywurst wasn't warm but not really cold either. Personally and from a business perspective, I cannot understand why Invest cannot accept our voucher that is older than 3 years. Of course, he is not legally obliged to accept the voucher, but this makes it very difficult to make a recommendation given the rather high prices and yet rather average quality. We won't come back.

The food was delicious. The English menue is a bit outdated and it’s difficult for a non-german speaker to decide what to eat. It would be better if there are pictures on the menu. The restaurant is always wuiet busy so the staff cant spend much time with the guest to give recommendations.
