Belchenblick Strauße in Heitersheim

Sausage & bread makes cheeks rosy, or: "A life without sausage is possible but pointless" (once you've "unwisely" sampled this offering). Farm shop insider tip: the black pudding is the best the region has to offer, along with a crust of bread or a "Seele" (a type of bread roll); the rest of the selection is also largely unmatched. Seele of the day: Nobody can do it like Rainer: a crust to die for. Praise to the master of the dough!

I ordered beef broth with noodles and meat, as well as a portion of cheese spaetzle with salad. The only thing was the salad, which was somewhat edible. The soup had hardly any flavor, and the cheese spaetzle were like something from a bag with a little cheese, tasteless and dry. Thank you, never again. No response to my complaint; the air was very stuffy and the room overheated.

The food was good. The staff was friendly.

Peaceful, quiet ostriches in a comfortable size. Very friendly staff who regularly inquire about any further requests. The dishes, and especially the wine, are really good! Parking is a bit limited, but you can park almost anywhere in the village.

In contrast to the tourist crowds, you'll find locals here: that's always the best sign of 'something good' 😋 and so we're glad we came here. Meat and Brägele- 😋, an incredibly large 'small' salad with the Schäufele (shoulder of pork) with very good homemade bread: perfect! Then two well-chosen, deliciously well-developed quarter-liters – what more could you want? Oh, and a good ending: it's not on the menu, but they brought it to me: an affogato – for those who don't know it: here they serve a scoop of ice cream in a mild espresso, fantastic! The evening was perfectly rounded off by the friendly, cheerful service despite the hectic pace; even the child was enthusiastic about it...😃👍

Highly recommended...a must-stop and worth it if you're there with a campervan. Electricity is also available for €5. The owners of the Strauße are super friendly, and we had a quick chat with the senior owner (80) in the morning. We found it by chance, as the parking space in Staufen was full, even on a Wednesday. But we'll definitely stop there again and probably stay the night there again. Tomorrow/Friday we'll definitely go to the farm shop and stock up on the homemade products.

The atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly. They know how to give guests a warm welcome. The food was a bit too small for my taste for the price. Unfortunately, I wasn't full. Otherwise, it was a very nice place. The farm shop is fantastic; we also bought some grilled meat there, which was of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Timeless classic with consistent quality for decades. Never had a dry schnitzel here.

My visit to the “Strauße Belchenblick” was unfortunately disappointing. The Brägele that I ordered was not declared on the menu as a dish with bacon. As a vegetarian this was of course a big problem. Complete and clear labeling of the ingredients would be urgently needed to avoid misunderstandings. About the Bibilis cheese: This was advertised as homemade, which set my expectations high. Unfortunately, it was just plain natural quark, without any special refinement or taste that would do justice to a homemade Bibilis cheese. That was really disappointing. Overall, more transparency regarding the ingredients and a more honest description of the dishes would be desirable. The friendly service was positive, but that alone couldn't make up for the disappointment with the food.

Super tasty rump steak...the dream. Canned sausage from the master is also very tasty and homemade bread. We always feel super comfortable. Many greetings from the “Unterland”...senior boss 😉

Very friendly service, very good quality of the products, price performance is right here👍 There was also a view of the Belchen. The steak and fried potatoes were great. Pork goulash really tasty.

The Sulz soup is an absolute highlight for me. Sausage salad very tasty. Good wine at reasonable prices. We have been coming here for more than 25 years and always enjoy it.

Tip top, great Straussi. Unfortunately closed Monday and Tuesday. But it is granted to them.

The food (fine bratwurst) smelled greasy. Salad without any “whistle”. Plate jelly was very plentiful but very bland. It's a shame, it's not worth going further. I have better memories of the meal many years ago.

Sensationally we got asparagus again which was really delicious....thanks to the great kitchen...

Very good ostriches. The food is very tasty and the ambience is typical of these restaurants. The view of the Belchen is really great. The portions are huge. Price-performance is completely okay here.

Wunderbares und köstliche Speisen aus Landwirtschaftlichen Erzeugnissen, die sehr reichhaltig und Platz für viele Gäste durch ein beheiztes Zelt im Anbau

Schöne Strausenwirtschaft mit gutem Essen und herrlichen Weinen. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen und in der jetzigen Zeit im Zelt. Am Freitag können Wurst und Fleischware so wie selbst gebackenes Brot im Hofladen gekauft werden. An Wochenenden sehr gut besucht.

Für mich immer noch eine der besten straussenwirtschaft in der Region.

Auf der Durchreise fanden wir hier alles was man braucht. Einen Platz zum Übernachten in unserem Wohnmobil, wirklich leckeres Essen, ebenso leckeren Wein. Exzellenten Service mit viel Freundlich- und Herzlichkeit. Schade dass der Straussen bei unserer Rückkehr schon geschlossen hat. Da wäre klar gewesen wo wir Station machen.

Nette Strausse in der man innen und aussen sitzen kann. Speisekarte mit kleiner und normaler Portion ist Top! Essen war lecker.

Wir hatten uns auf ein leckeres Schnitzel mit Pommes gefreut...........leider bekommt man ein TK Schnitzel serviert was trocken ist und ohne Soße. Die Pommes sind auch nicht besser. Ich werde da nicht mehr essen gehen.

Leckeres Essen, meist geht alles sehr schnell. Grosse Portionen, man kann aber auch kleine Portionen bestellen, super! Beilagen zur Auswahl, "Standard" ist das hausgemachte Bauernbrot, welches super schmeckt und welches man auch dort zum Mitnehmen kaufen kann. Es gibt auch Pommes, Spätzle, Brägele, Kartoffelsalat. Sehr freundlicher Service. Freitags hat der Hofladen geöffnet, auch sehr zu empfehlen. Hat hausgemachte Wurst, Fleisch, Käse und hausgemachte Brot. Alles sehr lecker!

Hier könnten sich einige eine Scheibe abschneiden. Lecker Essen, sympathische Bedienung, tolle Portionen. Echt Klasse👍👍👍👍

Sehr einfache Lokation - Essen reichlich, gut und moderate Preise. Getränkeauswahl groß und niedrige Preise. Service sehr freundlich und familiär.

Strauße war leider geschlossen, aber der WoMo Abstellplatz war sehr ruhig.

Eine tolle Strauße. Der Service ist super und das Essen sehr gut. Zu empfehlen ist die Wurst aus eigener Herstellung und das Brot ist der Hammer.

Sehr gute Strauße mit einer schönen Garten Wirtschaft. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich und die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Empfehlen kann ich die Produkte vom Hofladen. Ganz besonders das Bauernbrot, das sich zu einigen Gerichten gereicht wird.

Eine Straußi wie sie sein soll. Leckere und große Portionen und nicht teuer. Vor allem ist es für die Kinder toll, es gibt einen "Spielplatz" mit Schaukel, Sandkasten e. c. t. Sollte man besondere Fleischzuschnitte brauchen, einfach Hr. Bürgelin sagen, er hat immer ein offenes Ohr.

Hier kann man gemütlich im teilweise überdachten Gartenrestaurant sitzen. Wir haben gut gegessen und wurden freundlich bedient.

Gute lokale Küche. Besonders draußen sitzt man sehr schön. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert. Sehr toll ist es, dass man bei den meisten Gerichten auch eine kleine Portion bestellen kann.

Haben heute u.a. "Spargel/Omelett" gegessen. Spargel waren reichlich, Omelett nicht. Die Nachbestellung wurde extra berechnet. Dahin fahre ich nicht mehr...

Wir waren heute in der Straussenwirtschaft Belchenblick. Die Wirtschaft bietet eine gemütliche Gststube und einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Bälchen. Das Essen und der Wein waren sehr lecker, allerdings für mein Empfinden für eine Straussenwirtschaft auch teuer. Trotzdem zu empfehlen. Wer will kann auch Hausgemachte Produkte mit nach Hause nehmen.

Im Ortsteil Gallenweiler liegt diese Strausse mit Tradition. Die Portionen sind gross und günstig.Vor allem Wurst und Fleisch aus eigener Herstellung, sowie das Spanferkel sind empfehlensert. Ein Hofladen ist angegliedert.Von der Terrasse aus hat man bei schönem Wetter einen tollen Blick auf den Belchen. Für Kinder gibt es viele Spielmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen Spielplatz.
