Wie eine griechische Taverne. Gutes Essen, gute Getränke und guter Service.

Ich saß mit einer Bekannten am Freitag Abend den 8.5.26 zwischen 22 Uhr 30 und 23 uhr an der Bar auf ein Bier und wurde vom Barkeeper rassistisch angegangen. "Du bist bestimmt Zigeunerin stimmts? Hast Ähnlichkeit mit meiner Ex" Einfach so aus dem nichts als ich noch eine 2te Halbe bestellen und dann zahlen wollte. Wie kommt man darauf seinen Gästen aus dem Nichts random solche Fragen zu stellen? Wie erklärt man sich das? Weiß der Restaurantbetreiber darüber Bescheid was da Abends für Leute hinter der Bar arbeiten und Getränke ausschenken? Ich fürchte auch dass derjenige hinterm Tresen nicht ganz nüchtern war. Ouzo oder gar anderweitige Substanzen? Sehr beängstigend. Unnötige und unangenehme Erfahrung.

Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt und die Bedienung war freundlich, aber meiner Frau ging es kurz nach dem Essen nicht gut. Sie reagiert sehr empfindlich auf Nitratzusätze im Fleisch, und Gyros enthalten normalerweise keine. Diese hier müssen aber welche enthalten haben, was sehr schade war, denn so musste sie ins Hotel zurück, um sich auszuschlafen, anstatt mit mir die Stadt zu erkunden.

Es ist ein kleines Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und Musik, das auf einer Seite auch eine Bar beherbergt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte probiert, die alle köstlich waren! Besonders hervorzuheben sind: Hähnchenfilet mit Gemüse, gebackene Riesen-Brötchen mit Feta, gefüllter Kohl mit Zitronensauce, Feta-Bouyourdi, Ofenkartoffeln und Pitabrot.

Das war ein Volltreffer, eigentlich sind wir aus Versehen hier gelandet und hatten hier einen super lustigen Abend mit leckeren Speisen und Getränken. Super netter Service. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl hier. Und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch sehr gut....können wir vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen. Danke

Ein mikroskopisch kleines Restaurant, eher Taverne, mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Gutes griechisches Essen, neben viel Fleisch leider nur wenig für Vegetarier. Dafür kann man griechischen Fussball schauen…

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr gastfreundlich!!!

Wir haben es zufällig auf Wolt entdeckt… Als wir die Pita-Gyros sahen, waren wir begeistert… und tatsächlich: ein Pita von einem richtig guten Gyros, nicht so ein Standardgericht wie sonst. Seitdem ist es unser Lieblingsrestaurant und wir bestellen es regelmäßig… Probieren Sie es selbst, Sie werden überzeugt sein! Und bei den sehr günstigen Preisen ist es definitiv einen Besuch wert. Ich freue mich schon darauf, demnächst persönlich weitere Gerichte zu probieren!

Das Essen war hervorragend und der Kellner war sehr freundlich zu meiner jüngsten Tochter und hat auch meinem Sohn geholfen, sein Deutsch zu verbessern.

Nur schlechte Erfahrung gemacht leider. Nur das Essen war okay aber viel zu kleine Portion bei dem Preis. Als Kunde wird man nicht ernst genommen, dementsprechend auch negative Servicebewertung. Ingesamt 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet um dann nicht satt zu werden. Sehr verbesserungswürdig.

Ich war zuletzt im August 2024 hier. Damals haben wir das unscheinbar wirkenden Bistro entdeckt und waren vom Essen so begeistert. Aktuell bin ich seitdem das erste Mal wieder in München (für eine Nacht), mir war gleich klar, dass ich hier wieder her musste!

Ich bin am späten Sonntagabend auf der Suche nach etwas zu essen zufällig in dieses Lokal gestolpert. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht: tolle Atmosphäre, fantastisches Essen und freundlicher Service.

Wir waren am Montagabend dort zum Abendessen. Es war nicht viel los, und wir haben problemlos einen Tisch gefunden. Wir waren vom Essen positiv überrascht – es war hochwertig zubereitet und sehr lecker. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Der Laden existiert nicht wirklich, es ist etwas ganz anderes. Als ich das erste Mal hierherkam, fühlte ich mich so griechisch und so sehr mit ihnen verbunden. Einen Moment lang hatte ich das Gefühl, der Vater des Chefs, Kostas, sei mein Onkel. Ich sag's euch, Leute, das ist ein Haufen Dreckskerle. In einer halben Stunde bin ich einer von euch. Der Laden ist wie eine Familie...

Ein tolles Lokal! Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal Gerne wieder!

leider Freitag Mittag geschlossen, obwohl eigentlich offen sein sollte. Der Weg war leider umsonst 😕

Wir haben dieses Lokal zufällig entdeckt, da die bayerische Bar um die Ecke geschlossen war. Wir sind so froh, dass wir dort angehalten haben – fantastisches Essen, fantastischer Service – 10/10, absolut empfehlenswert für einen Besuch in München!

Wir sind hierher zum Abendessen gekommen, weil es abseits des Trubels des Weihnachtsmarktes lag. Es war ein ausgezeichnetes Erlebnis: gutes Essen, angenehme Atmosphäre und ein sehr freundlicher Kellner.

Man denkt vielleicht nicht sofort an griechisches Essen in Deutschland, aber nach einem langen Tag hatte ich richtig Lust auf etwas Heimatliches. Das Essen war köstlich und es war so schön, sich mit anderen Griechen zu unterhalten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Alles war so lecker und das Barpersonal so freundlich. Ich wünschte, ich könnte 7 von 5 Punkten vergeben.

What a fantastic evening at Bahalo! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The starters and main courses were excellent. You rarely experience such hospitality. And we also thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. A truly small but exquisite Greek restaurant with a family atmosphere. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. amazing food! we weren't sure where to go and decided on this, and i'm so glad we did. portion sizes were amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely inside, not too loud as we have found a lot of places to be! definitely authentic, and the man we had serve us was lovely! also great and quick service.

The restaurant is located near the main train station. From the outside, it's rather unassuming and at first glance resembles a quaint corner pub. The owners are extremely friendly and help wherever they can. Only after studying the menu do you realize you're at a Greek restaurant with heart and soul. The selection is manageable, but leaves nothing to be desired. The food is good, as is the house wine. Beer is no problem in Munich anyway. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are well-chosen. If you like the mix of pub (tavern) and restaurant, you'll find a place here that will leave fond memories.

The staff were really friendly and accomodating, they even brought over a free shot for us as we were leaving. The food was really nice too with a good atmosphere.

The reception is nice and the waiter is kind. He told us what is available and what is suitable for us as Muslims. The food is very delicious and the varieties are great and the prices are very reasonable.

I just called to order something and asked about the negative reviews and was told: then just order from somewhere else. That's really bad service!

We were looking for a ‘nicer’ restaurant that didn’t just serve huge dinner plates. Bahalo is wonderful. We ordered a ‘small’ gyro that would be considered regular in the US, along with a nice side salad. Also ordered was a tomato/cucumber salad and side of garlic pita. So good! I have to mention the ?pork inside the Gyro was especially savory. We used their QR code on their menu for an English version. Inside and outside seating, about 10min from HBf. Cash and credit cards/contactless/Apple Pay accepted.

The Bar Bahalo is a real highlight! I have rarely experienced a bar that combines so much style, atmosphere and quality. Creatively mixed, perfectly balanced and a real eye-catcher. Particularly recommended: the signature cocktails – every sip is an experience. The staff is attentive, warm and professional - you feel welcome and in good hands. Whether for a relaxed evening with friends or a stylish date – Bahalo delivers across the board. If you're in town, you have to stop by here. For me: one of the best bars around. I'll definitely be back!

After few places which were being rude to us this felt like a heaven. Personal was very charming and open, suggesting everything that we needed, very funny The food is great. Nothing too add. My recommendation 👍🏻 Also we got a compliment shot of rakia in the end of our feast ❤️

I only sat outside, so no review for the interior, but the food was delicious and the staff were very nice. When I'm back in Munich, this will definitely be my returning Greek.

A hidden gem in central Munich, close to Theresienwiese! Excellent, fresh and authentic Greek food, super friendly service, and a marvelous atmosphere. Small place, but highly recommended. A+++

I just ordered there and picked it up because I live nearby. Conclusion: super tasty! Gyros with fries and tzatziki ordered, everything as it should be, crispy meat, fries as it should be and a tzatziki to bathe in! It's a small restaurant, but the food is cooked with heart and love! Great!

We were here outdoors on a summer evening and had a little something to eat, it was very nice, the prices were standard in Munich. Afterwards we were offered an ouzo on the house. Also very nice. Unfortunately, the ouzo was clearly adulterated, i.e. h. probably extended with water. No idea why. That hasn't happened to me yet either. And I have to say, unfortunately that's not possible and it permanently destroys trust in the kitchen. Currently there is a gyro pita to take away for €6.50 (without meat it's only €4.50).

Nice restaurant, friendly people, delicious food and little money

Place seemed okish but unfortunately it was not. We ordered gyros and were told it will take some time for the rotisserie to heat up, which was fine by us. After some time they came back to tell us it will take a little bit longer still, at least they kept us updated. But then all of a sudden the owner came to tell us the gyros rotisserie was broken and we needed to pick something else from the menu. When we said we did not want that and we would go somewhere else all of a sudden we could get the gyros… When the food finally arrives the only positive thing was that the tzatziki tasted fine, the rest was dripping with oil. Especially the salad was one oily mess (see picture) and the salad it self also looked like it was way over due. We felt rather intimidated by the big “scary” telling to each other personal that we did not really feel comfortable to complain but overall it was a big no no and I would not recommend this place.

We loved this authentic Greek restaurant, with views of the beautiful St. Paul's Church. The food was excellent value for money and the service and atmosphere were very pleasant. We are only sorry that we discovered it our last night in Munich.

Yes, real Greek atmosphere, no frills or frills - just a cozy tavern with wooden chairs, benches in front of the door, etc., family business where you can quickly make friends.

What surprised us was the freshness of the ingredients. The dishes were delicious, very good quality and appropriately priced. The service was impeccable and the place is really nice. Highly recommended!!!

I ordered a variety of meats on the barbecue plate, but the mutton was not good. There was something wrong with it and it smelled a bit smelly, so I didn’t eat it and left it there.

Little Greek – a real tip for lunch in the St. Pauls district. The restaurant is very small. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside on the sidewalk. There is a small lunch menu and everything there is really good. The prices are completely ok. The owners/service: super-nice. Since we discovered the restaurant, we have enjoyed coming there again and again.

Highly recommend—easily the best Greek food I’ve ever had! They started off by very kindly moving a couple guests to put two patio tables together for our large group. Then someone brought ice for my husband’s knee that recently had surgery. The server was so patient in taking the order of our large group (we speak English and had lots of questions about the German menu). We had the pita gyros and the meat was fresh, juicy, hot, with slightly crispy edges. (They are also huge and for 6.5 €—5€ if it’s to go—a great deal for a very filling sandwich.) PERFECTION! We enjoyed the Greek salad, the with feta, a huge side order of fries, and the whipped hummus plate. The food was fast and excellent. The seating on the quiet street was lovely on a summer night.

Ordered food. This Greek is a pure disappointment. Ordered a grill plate. The chicken has already been reheated at least twice. Instead of a bifteki there was a Suzuki and instead of the lamb chop they simply didn't include it at all. The salad was already soggy and inedible. Don't order here. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

We ended up in this quaint little cozy restaurant by chance. We got very good Greek food. The landlady was very friendly and took care of her guests, even though this restaurant also offers a lot of takeaway food.

We ended up here by chance for New Year's Eve dinner before going to the Tollwood festival. Great atmosphere, great boss, excellent food! We highly recommend it!!

Durch Zufall sind wir auf dem Heimweg an diesem Restaurant vorbeigekommen und haben uns spontan an einem der Tische auf dem Gehweg niedergelassen um noch etwas zu trinken. Die freundliche und familiäre Atmosphäre hat uns direkt zugesagt und so sind wir am folgenden Abend direkt zum Essen wiedergekommen. Die Gerichte waren lecker und die Portionen ausreichend groß. Der Service war zuvorkommend und schnell. Zum Schluss gab es noch - wie könnte es anders sein - einen Ouzo auf's Haus. Yamas!

Man bekommt genau dass, was man erwartet. Die Inhaberin bedient, ist unglaublich freundlich, nicht gespielt. Man möchte einfach bei ihr bleiben 🙂 unser Büro ist um die Ecke. Wir holen mindestens dreimal die Woche, mittags was zum Essen. Quer durch die Speisekarte. Angefixt wurde ich durch meinen ersten Pita. Pita mit allem, was man kennt, was reingehöhrt. Ich war irritiert, weil auch zusätzlich leckere frische Pommes in dem Fladenbrot waren. Hier komme ich wieder auf die nette Chefin zurück. Du gehst ins Büro zurück, packst dein Pita aus, denkst Dir, wow, die Chefin weiß, was wir brauen 😃 Auch danke, für die gestrige Grillplatte mit den Vorspeisen. Perfekt ❤️

The lady who was taking orders and serving, was very busy but cheerful and helpful. We shared a plate of grilled meats and they were delicious.
