As vegans, we were very pleased that there is a restaurant in Badenweiler that offers vegan food and Ayurvedic cuisine, it couldn't be better. The food is very flavorful and the portions are very large. Therefore the price-performance ratio is right in terms of quantity. However, the quality of the basic ingredients still leaves a lot of room for improvement. It's a shame, because then the food would definitely be worth 5 stars, because the chef is really good. The lentil dhal and rice are definitely recommended without reservation. The atmosphere takes a lot of getting used to. The furnishings, including the crockery, probably come from the previous home-style restaurant and are quite outdated. The aquarium has seen better days. Even a few Indian cloths and lamps don't help anymore. Owners and staff are very friendly.

Immerse yourself in another world, mixing German and Indian culture. The food is simply delicious and the guest's stay in the restaurant is lovingly organized. If you are undecided about the choice of dish, tips are given or alternatives are offered to combine your wishes. Also recommended with children. We were visiting with three children and here too we received good suggestions that also made our children happy. An all-round successful visit to the Yogima restaurant. We'd love to come back

Fresh spices, tasty prepared and friendly service. Not the typical Indian, which might bother some who don't like it as individually authentic. But I really enjoyed it! Someone cooked there who understands and loves Indian cuisine.

We ate at the YogiMa Badenweiler restaurant on October 23 because the reviews and pictures on the HP really promised something. We found an outdated ambience, but let's be honest... don't give a damn about the ambience if the food excites you?... a very hard-working older lady and a younger counterpart who somehow agreed poorly with each other, or at least they did We asked several times about the order and despite everything, somehow none of it arrived in the kitchen, but we had a lot of time. We sat at a nice table in the covered outdoor area and when it got a little darker, two candles were lit for us, because the one that was connected to the mains? According to the owner, the lantern next to us could not be used. In terms of lighting technology, the evening promised to be exciting. As a starter we were given 3 really good dips and a delicious samosa, lurching alone on a 90' year old breakfast plate that was already past its best, the blemishes on the edge were evidence of this. That's a shame, because when you think of "restaurant" you just imagine something different. Meanwhile, other guests joined us on the terrace and pretty large lanterns were brought out, which unfortunately saw their raison d'être in the half-lame glow and annoying beeping. It wasn't difficult to see that the battery of the lights was about to run out, but the beeping was explained to the neighboring guest by saying that the things somehow had a strange life of their own... the boss is probably not very well versed in technology. Long story short... after a short time we (in this case us and the table next to us) were sitting in the dark. Another couple a table away read the menu using their cell phone lights due to the lack of brightness and ordered well. Meanwhile our main course arrived and what can I say... Between Lörrach and Freiburg there are actually Indian restaurants that conjure up great dishes, really exciting and exotic for us... Unfortunately, the YogiMa Badenweiler is definitely not one of them. In the -now- dark (the big lights were on their last breath and left us and the neighboring table sitting unlit) we poked around in our respective dishes, which unfortunately didn't do justice to the starter... it's a good thing we also had cell phones to give us an insight... Overview? ... on the plate. The two lamps, which had now been replaced by lighting technology, left the female waiter team quite cold, but at least when you were cashing out you noticed that you almost had to shove the candles into your wallet to see anything. Now you may refer to Ayurvedic, but if that means the difference between delicious Indian and what we got there, we'll prefer Indian without Ayurvedic in the future. Conclusion... we were really disappointed. The service was attentive and very friendly, but had no eye for the surroundings. We don't like bright station lighting either, but unfortunately the eye can't keep up with two candles on the table... But maybe that was the intention? From a culinary point of view, the whole thing was... after all, you are setting out to explore the dishes of a world that is rather foreign to us... a failure and unfortunately this restaurant is not a recommendation in our opinion. It's actually a mystery to us how there are so many positive reviews, but maybe the cook had the day off and it was "Aunt Wilma" at the stove?

So much warmth and joyful energy, combined with great Indian Ayurvedic food. This is unparalleled, even outside of Badenweiler. A source of joy in life🍀🙏

We waited almost two hours for the food. The food was good. The coconut almond dish didn't taste like coconut, just like curry.

The best Indian restaurant between Badenweiler and Lahr. Family-run and just a place to feel good, and incredibly tasty too! We'd love to come back.

Überraschend schönes und gemütliches Ambiente auf der Terrasse, etwas abseits und leicht erhöht im Zentrum Badenweilers. Das Essen war mit frischen Zutaten, extrem lecker und reichlich. Der Service war sehr nett und wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen!

Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum Buffet das Essen war super lecker😊, die Bedienung war sehr Aufmerksam 😊 doch der Preis war mit 25€ pro Person schon Recht teuer... Trotzdem würden wir uns gern durch die Speisekarte futtern. Und einen Parkplatz zu finden war eine Herausforderung.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Schönes, gemütliches Ambiente, entweder innen oder auf der Terrasse. Man wird freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und bei Bedarf beraten. Bei der Auswahl der Gerichte bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Hier trifft Baden auf Indien, es gibt sowohl gute badische Küche als auch leckeres indisches Essen.

Einfach nur WOW - der Küchenchef ist der Held ! Wir waren im Hotel zu Gast und konnten den Abend kaum erwarten das es wieder etwas zu essen gab! 🤗 Also mal ehrlich - selten so gut gegessen. Selten so gut in Deutschland ayurvedisch gegessen. Super ausbalancierte Gewürze. Ein echter Könner am Herd! Abzüge gibt's nur für das ein wenig in die Jahre gekommene Ambiente. Ansonsten einfach nur empfehlenswert!

Sehr sehr leckeres ayurvedisch/indisches Essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Tische sind etwas sehr nah aufeinander gestuhlt aber sonst ist sehr gemütlich. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es viele Fleischgerichte und genügend Vegetarisches. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍😀

Excellent food of high quality. We were very happy to visit this restaurant. I think the chef knows a lot about Indian food. The owner of the hotel and restaurant is very nice to talk to, positive and friendly. We would highly recommend this place.

Sehr zu empfehlen.Wer in ruhiger angenehmer Atmosphäre essen will, ist hier genau richtig. Man fühlt sich schon im ersten Moment gut aufgehoben, es ist schon ein etwas besonderer Ort zum Essen. In positivem Sinne, das Essen ist mega lecker, es kommt schöne meditative Musik, die Gesamtatmisphäre lässt einen schon innerlich abschalten. Eine Reservierung vorab wäre sicher empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Von außen noch nicht deutlich genug ersichtlich ( es steht Hotel,-aber nicht Restaurant dran), was drinnen für Schätze auf die Gäste warten. Diese indische Küche ist ein Traum und die Inhaber unglaublich nett und fleißig. Wer lieber gut bürgerlich essen möchte, kommt dort auch auf seine Kosten. Apropos Kosten, gute Preis/Leistung! Bediening is droevig slecht. Kinderen helpen mee en vergeten van alles, mama helaas ook. Misschien te druk om alleen alles te doen. Eten was goed, maar alles in etappes omdat er veel vergeten was.

Sehr zuvorkommender und äußerst freundlicher Service in diesem erst im Juli 2022 eröffneten indischen Restaurant. Besonders die vegetarischen Samos als Vorspeise haben uns sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
