Der Salat ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Außer Gurken und Tomaten kommt alles aus der Dose, man kriegt es kaum runter. Das Hauptgericht (Steak) war OK. Die Bedienung könnte auch etwas freundlicher sein.

Empfehlung kann ich nicht wirklich aussprechen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Allerdings: Die Fisch- und Fleischgerichte waren zu trocken, teilweise verbrannt und zäh. Da die Speisen in der Vergangenheit stets gut waren, war die Enttäuschung gross. Schade

The Zwickl – our local inn with heart and quality The "Aubingers Zwicklwirt" has long been more than just an inn for us – it's our local. We regularly go there for our men's nights, usually 2-3 times a month. We also celebrate the birthdays of our older members there with the VdK (Association of German Confederation of Bavarians) in a dignified setting. I also visit the inn privately about 2-5 times a year – most recently for my father's funeral, which was held there in a pleasant, family-friendly setting. The food is always excellent – ​​regional, fresh, and delicious. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely fair. The innkeepers and the entire team are friendly, attentive, and create an atmosphere where you feel completely at home. For anyone looking for authentic Bavarian cuisine with a personal touch, the Zwickl is a definite recommendation. We're always happy to come back!

Very tasty food and friendly service

The Zwicklwirt is always worth a visit! We've been there four times now and it's always been delicious. The food is really excellent, the portions are large and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. The innkeepers and waitresses are all very nice and accommodating and we are always happy to come back. Absolute recommendation if you want to eat regionally.

If you like it rustic, this is the place for you! Small rustic restaurant in the middle of Aubing. I ate here for the first time yesterday and found the dish “pork fillet with mushroom sauce and spaetzle” very tasty. The service was also great. Very friendly and always with a smile. Contact with regular guests is also maintained. Which makes the whole thing even more likeable. You could tell that the restaurant is a family business. That's exactly how I imagine a good rustic restaurant in Bavaria! I'll definitely come back.

If you like hospitality and a mix of Balkan and Bavarian cuisine, this is the place for you. Delicious food, the portions are generous at fair prices. Moving in, the ambience is a bit simple but okay.

After my husband repeatedly raved about the onion roast at the Zwickelwirt, this time I allowed myself to be persuaded and went along. Of course I ordered the legendary onion roast. My husband wants it medium, I want it medium. I was so excited and wasn't disappointed. The meat was really big, the onions with it tasted great. I asked for herb butter, and of course that's what I got. The fried potatoes were crispy and delicious. We have tried a lot of onion roasts. The one at the Zwickelwirt is by far the best we have ever eaten. 100% recommendation.

Since moving (almost 3 months ago) we've been there 5-6 times...so far everything has been great...(so 5 stars for the food),...only last Sunday everything went wrong...😥eternal waiting time...employees in the kitchen & went underground... I ordered my favorite meal, which I advertise everywhere, number 51 stuffed minced steak. On Sunday the "meat" was a max Never seen employees before...both very young, didn't want to complain, they were both under a lot of stress! Of course I'll be back!..., I think something can always go wrong... Oh, the extra portion of Ajvar, as ordered, calculated..., but didn't get it 😥I honestly didn't need it with THIS "minced steak" either, as it was only a fraction of the normal volume, so this time the hour had Ajvar Portion was enough 🙃 I'll still come back ✌️😉 ADDENDUM: Were there again on Tuesday evening this week: EVERYTHING perfect, service, food all around... more like 5 stars... Zander tender as butter, my stuffed minced steak to kneel in... And service no matter whether, I think the jr, or the mom, both attentive, funny...so it's my top 1 address in Aubing again...👍

We were traveling in our old home of Aubing and ate at Zwickl today! The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly!

Overall the food was ok and tasty. The service during our spontaneous visit was great. At the request of the boss, we were allowed to sit at the table of a friendly guest - all other tables were occupied.

The portions were very small, we were disappointed, not recommended.

I have never had anything so disrespectful and outrageous happen to me in the restaurant industry. I just wanted to order a second wine, then the boss said to me: “You have to wait, guests like you!” I have other guests than you!” I'll never go here again. The inn looks rustic. The cuisine is dominated by Balkan cuisine. Everything neat and clean. Food was good, we chose Pola Pola. We can only recommend it. We became aware of the inn while passing through.

Impudence, Cevapcici old and strange taste, Raznjici meat smelled unpleasant, tough like leather. Tasteless. Djuvec rice watery mush. Ready-made salad from a jar, no dressing. I've never eaten so badly in recent years. Very big disappointment. Not recommendable.

Beim Aubinger Zwicklwirt gibts vorwiegend kroatisches und bayerisches Essen. Wir haben uns auf Kroatisches konzentriert, es wurde uns aber von Freunden versichert, dass auch das Bayerische schmeckt. Sehr ordentliches Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, aufmerksame, recht freundliche Bedienung, gute Portionen und gute Qualität der Speisen. Draußen kann man recht angenehm sitzen, innen hat es eher das Ambiente einer klassischen Dorfwirtschaft mit dunklem Holz, eher rustikal. Wer ein eher modernes Lokal sucht, wird hier, was das angeht, nicht glücklich werden. Do werd boarisch (oder kroatisch) g'redt. Wir waren dort zum Herrenabend mit Schafkopfen und Essen und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Beleuchtung draußen könnte vielleicht noch optimiert werden.

Hervorragender Mittagstisch schmeckt immer wieder genauso lecker wie das letzte mal.

If you are in the area and hungry you must go there to have a relaxing drink and eat. The food is good wholesome plentiful and delicious. Our waiter was engaging and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the extensive menu. We would highly recommend this establishment for a lovely Bavarian experience. If ever we're in Bavaria again we will be going again.

The place is great, real local, bavarian atmosphere. The service team was really nice (and even spoke Spanish and was happy to). The food was real tasty. We had the Kirsch goulash, Käsespätzle and some fried Ziegenkäse that was very good. Even the other clients were super nice and friendly to us and our 2 wandering boys ❤

I’ve been travel-working in Europe for over two months now. Germany is the seventh country I’ve been to. This is hands-down one of the top restaurants in not only Germany but in ALL of Europe! The food is extremely consistent. This place is literally one review away from making the restaurant famous. I can’t recommend the restaurant enough! Pro tip: there are two salad dressings offered. Get the creamy one. It is a secret recipe made in-house and it is AMAZING! Unfortunately, the first time and got too focused on the food and eating that I forgot to take pictures of it! So I had to come back… Seriously though, I would make up any excuse to go back and eat there! You seriously can’t go wrong at Aubingers Zwicklwirt! The saddest thing is that I live on the other side of the world :( :( :( If I was local then I would take my family here EVERY week!

Sind regelmäßig im Zwickelwirt und sind nie enttäuscht worden. Klassische Bayerische/Kroatische Küche. Prima Service und die Preise sind auch OK. Kinder bekommen immer was Süßes mit auf den Nachhauseweg. Kommen gerne wieder.
