Super friendly service and all dishes (crossaints, chili con carne, pasta) were delicious.

We love this restaurant and will be coming to dine every Sunday from now on. The waitresses are attentive, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant scores with its cozy atmosphere.

Excellent breakfast and brunch options to fill the body and soul. Loved the Bavarian white sausage paired with a breakfast beer Franziskaner helles weissbier. Also enjoyed the Sicilian platter and fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff are wonderful and have excellent suggestions to offer. A must visit if spending a few days in Munich.

There is not much variety on the menu, but it is enough, the food is delicious. The service is fast and high quality. The two waiters who hosted us were very attentive and polite. It's a good idea to make a reservation before you go. By the way, payment can only be made in cash, credit card is not accepted.

Quite nice. Brunch menus are pretty simple, but not expensive either. You can do it. However, it is worrying that you can only pay in cash.

Cozy restaurant, delicious food and very friendly service!

We went to this restaurant three times this weekend, once for drinks and a snack, once for breakfast and then again for dinner. And what can I say? The food was super tasty and the staff was super friendly. A big thank you also to the waiter who freshly prepared a hot drink with ginger for my cold. 😊 I also had the best Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel I've ever had there. I didn't think the 20 minute wait for the Kaiserschmarrn was too long, but it was really nice that it was pointed out. It's a shame that we were only in Munich for the weekend. But we will definitely come back and then definitely to the restaurant. What I learned: You should call ahead for seats, otherwise the bar is a great place to sit. 😁

From the outside, the restaurant seems inconspicuous at first. But when you walk in, you are immediately surrounded by the great atmosphere of a traditional restaurant with really friendly, warm service from the greeting to the farewell. The menu has something to suit every taste and I found it very difficult to choose because I could have ordered 4 or 5 dishes from the current evening menu. There is also the normal card with the Haidhausen standards - also very appealing!! The quality of the food and drinks is also very good and the price-performance ratio is phenomenal. I can highly recommend a visit!!!

Very nice and attentive staff. For this reason alone, Café Haidhausen is worth a visit. The small beer garden in the inner courtyard invites you to linger. However, it will be closed at 10 p.m. due to noise protection. That's not a big deal as it's nice to sit inside too. The food is really excellent and very reasonably priced. We have never been dissatisfied so far. The only negative point: You can only pay in cash, which I find a bit incomprehensible these days and especially in a city like Munich. What's great, however, is that this is pointed out both on the website and in the entrance door. It would still be nice if you could pay by card in the future. 😊

Excellent service and kid friendly! The pancakes were delicious, the beef burger and aglio olio is good. Note that you’ll have to add on $ to have prawn for the aglio olio, but it’s nice without anyway

A super nice cafe. I was there for breakfast and was pretty impressed. Even though it was a holiday, it was quite quiet and I was able to take a seat in the wonderful courtyard. There are many different breakfast options. I was very happy with my choice, the price/performance ratio was right. The milk coffee was also very tasty. And the service was also great, very friendly and attentive. If I'm ever in Munich again, I'll take another look.

Service was friendly. The apple strudel tasted ok and considering that it was most likely frozen, I felt the price was too overpriced. I was a bit disgusted by the unsanitary toilets. A no-go!

We entered unpretentiously as it was on the list of recommended restaurants near the hotel. We were surprised by the food and the service, very friendly and attentive waiters, especially the Brazilian Carlos.

Wir haben es wieder getan. Agenturtreffen während des Münchener Filmfestes im Cafe Haidhausen. So wie im letzten Jahr sind wir OHNE ENDE verwöhnt worden. Die Belegschaft sorgte wieder für gute Stimmung. Das Essen war sehr fein. Getränke in sekundenschnelle fertig. Alles lekker, alles super! Die Räumlichkeiten laden zum verweilen ein. Auch ein schöner Aussenbereich ist vorhanden. Wer einen Platz sucht, an dem richtig gut gefeiert werden - oder vernetzt werden kann, ist hier richtig. Wieder habe ich mich zu 150 % wohl gefühlt. Really nice place. We went there for dinner and ordered a veggie burger and a schnitzel. Everything was good. But the best part was the Kaiserschmarrn, it was delicious! The ambience was comfy and the waitress was nice. You can only pay with cash.

It's a very nice atmosphere, it's quiet and pleasant, you can have a good conversation, unfortunately I don't know about the food there, I only ordered Pina Colada, which was also very tasty. I can recommend it if you're looking for a quiet cafe 😃

The food was OK and the waitress nice! The coffee wasn't so great. But the annoying thing was that they only take cash payments and don’t call it out beyond a small sign on the door that can easily be overlooked. Then I had to find an ATM and pay 6 Eur to withdraw 40 Eur. Hence, that's what the 1 star is for, would have rated 4 stars otherwise.

Good selection of different breakfasts. Quality but nothing special. Bread is very limited, but you can always order more, free of charge. Atmosphere in the backyard, quiet, cozy. Could be decorated a little more attractively. The service on a Sunday morning was a disaster. Cappuccino only lukewarm. And the price is more in the listening segment, not justified by the quality and service.

We were here on Valentine's Day and it was surprisingly quiet. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was tasty.. Price wise it is quite high but worth the money. The café is close to Rosenheimer Platz and ideal if you want to have a drink after the cinema or after the Gasteig.

Nettes Café/Bar. Freundlicher Service. Penne arrabiata wenig gewürzt. Keine Schärfe. Mit Käse serviert. Hat mit italienischer Arrabiata nichts zu tun. KartoffelSuppe mit wenig Geschmack. Musste auch nachgewürzt werden.

Meim Besuch bei Café Haidhausen. Betritt man das eher alte, schnuckige Gebäude, erspäht man Lichterketten, eine Bar, viele Kerzen und allgemein einfach eine sehr gute Atmosphäre. Die freundliche Kellnerin zeigt dir deinen Platz und du kannst mit dem Menü-Stöbern anfangen. Das Dekor ist einfach entzückend. Dieses Restaurant hat einen italienischen und deutschen vibe. Sehr schön. Essen gibt es hier von allen Nationalitäten. Aber ich muss zugeben, die deutsche und die indische Küche ist hier fantastisch. Die italienische so halbwegs. Mit einer Gruppe von vier waren wir unterwegs. Wir bestellten zwei Haidhausen Special Burger, eine indische Spezialität und ein mal Penne Arabiata.Die Burger waren fantastisch. Das knusprige Salat, die frischen Tomaten, der perfekte Patty, das cremige Käse und die Soße schmolzen in deinem Mund. Dann noch die Pommes dazu! Eine Delikatesse! Ich sollte nicht über dem indischen starten. Einfach excellent! Die warme Soße, das Fleisch und das gegrillte Gemüse ober drauf! So viel Lob an das Pasta kann ich leider nicht geben. Lauwarm kam es bei mir an mit ein bisschen Tomatensoße draufgeklatscht. Traurig dies überhaupt italienisch zu nennen. Als ob dies nicht schlimm genug wäre. Neben uns war ein Hund, der nicht aufhören konnte zu bellen. Der Arbeitsgeber sollte wirklich auf so etwas achten! Eine Unverschämheit! Das Personal ist einigermaßen freundlich aber etwas langsam. Die Preise hier sind sehr gut eingeschätzt. Insgesamt war mein Besuch hier erfreulich. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Vom Anspruch her natürlich kein Restaurant mit gehobener Küche. Die gute Bewertung bezieht sich darauf, dass man hier genau das bekommt, was man von einem Speisecafé erwarten kann: Ordentliches Angebot an Speisen, reichhaltige Auswahl an Getränken, Cocktails und Spirituosen zu angemessenen Preisen und einen sehr freundlichen Service.

I had the tagliatelle, it tasted quite bland and was average. The cafe was too loud to hear each other talking and they only accept cash. There is better food out there in the city for the same price imo.

Wir waren zum Frühstück im Café Haidhausen und hatten das Frühstück „Wollsocke“und „Sizilianer“. 🍳🥐Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut geschmeckt, nur die Marmelade war etwas sauer. Kaffe ist gut und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder ☺️

Das Cafe Haidhausen ist ein sehr nettes Gasthaus, egal ob für einen leckeren Drink oder auch etwas schmackhaftes zu essen. Die Drinks sind stets gut zubereitet und immer zuverlässig vom freundlichen Barmann Ben serviert. Zudem ist Ben auch sonst ein sehr höflicher sowie zuvorkommender junger Mann, welcher sehr gut ins Cafe Haidhausen passt. Besonders kann ich den alkoholfreien Cocktail ,,Carlito’’ gut heißen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Zuwenig Personal, jedoch bemüht! Habe dort nicht gegessen, jedoch wurde mir gesagt das es okay ist.

Die Auswahl von Kuchen war eher gering. Mir hat aber das Ambiente gut gefallen und die Speisen an den anderen Tischen sahen wirklich sehr gut aus.

Für das "In"-Viertel Haidhausen ist das Cafe Haidhausen fast billig. Das Preis/Leistung Gefüge ist sehr gut. Die Karte bietet teilweise ausgefallene Speisen. Waren letztens mit 10 Leuten da und alle waren begeistert. Top!

Der Anlass des Besuches war eine Grossveranstaltung im Rahmen des Münchener Filmfestivals Juni 23. 3 Agenturen hatten geladen.Die Lage des Cafes ist sehr gut. Die Räumlichkeiten sind angenehm, der Aussenbereich heimelig, sehr gemütlich. Während bei anderen Veranstaltungen ein Buffet vor sich hindümpelt, wurden hier immer die lekkersten, frischen snacks gereicht. Ungefragt die lekkersten drinks.Ich habe nie länger als 1 Minuter an der Bar gewartet. Die Stimmmung von Anfang an mega gut. Willkommener kann man frau sich nicht mehr fühlen denn: Am Tresen Pascal und Zoe. und überall Heidi!!! So ein Team gibt es selten. Schnell, freundlich, witzig, schnell, mit Herz dabei und nochmals schnell und geduldig. Ich denke, dass sich zwischendurch gut 100 Leute, wenn nicht mehr drinnen und draussen aufgehalten haben. Heisdi, Zoe und Pascal waren immer am Start und gut gelaunt. Am Ende haben wir noch eine Tanzeinlage bekommen. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Danke für einen zauberhaften Tag in Cafe Haidhausen. ich habe mich hier mit einer Freundin getroffen. Wir hatten einen Drink. Ich hatte einen Lillet Berry, der ganz lecker war und auch vom Preis_Leistungs_Verhältnis in Ordnung war. Das Personal war freundlich.

Wir haben den 28. Geburtstag meines Freundes hier gefeiert und wir sind mehr als zufrieden von unserem Besuch. Essen war super, die Cocktails der Hammer und der Service mehr als TOP. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!!

I love the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere, but the food and service is hit and miss. One day good, the next time poor....This evening I ordered "Penne al forno" and the dish was not baked in the oven and did not have oyster mushrooms as the menu described. The waiter continually forgot that we existed and was slower than molasses. Maybe better as a Stammtisch place for a drink now and then.

We ate here twice when we were visiting Munich in June. On our first visit, we were greeted so warmly when we poked our heads timidly in the door that I immediately knew we had a winner. Everyone working there was so friendly, and I could tell by the clientele that this was a true neighborhood spot. The meu wasn't the largest I've ever seen, but it had a great variety. There was something for everybody in our party. And everything was made with care. I had a salmon fillet with mushroom risotto on our first visit, and then when we went back a few days later I had pasta with gorgonzola cheese, spinach, and mushrooms. And apple strudel for dessert. Just thinking about it makes me wish I were back there.

The staff was so friendly, even though we were just there for a coffee. It seemed like a fair amount regulars from the neighborhood, which is always a good sign.

Went there for breakfast this morning. The atmosphere was good but the staff were not. Took them ages to take our order after we were sat down and even longer to bring our breakfast. My partner’s breakfast was missing juice and bread and we had to make several attempts to get our waiters attention and another long wait. Spoiled our morning. We would have been happier at some unpretentious and simple cafe. Avoidable place

Diesmal geht es mir nicht um eine Bewertung der Speisen etc., sondern um die Corona-Vorgaben. Ich wurde beim Betreten des Restaurants weder nach Impfstatus, noch Test gefragt. Das Lokal war gerammelt voll, von Abstand keine Spur. Als ich den Kellner daraufhin ansprach, war die Auskunft:" tut mir leid, das war mein Versehen." Gibt es hier vielleicht auch einen Besitzer, der die Vorgaben einzuhalten hat? Ich bin durchaus geneigt, dieses Procedere an höhere Stelle weiterzuleiten. Wenn viele Restaurants so damit in der Pandemie umgehen, dann gute Nacht! Meine Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die Nichteinhaltung der Corona-Vorgaben

Im Schnitt alles um 20% teurer geworden, keine späte Happy Hour mehr. So passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wie fast überall in Haidhausen, nicht mehr. Schade, war eigentlich mein Stammlokal.

Corona Ade? Haben im Biergarten gesessen gestern. An einem Sonnentage sehr angenehm. Obwohl zentral in Haidhausen gelegen, schön ruhig.
