The price is high, and yet I used to be a regular at the restaurant. Recently, however, I've noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the salmon and octopus on several visits. The smell was truly bothersome. I sincerely hope that more attention will be paid to the freshness of the ingredients and that the quality will improve again.

Very tasty and great value for money

Lunch buffet including non-alcoholic drinks, beer, and coffee. A very extensive buffet with soup, a variety of meat and fish dishes, and a selection of sushi. Dessert, ice cream, and a chocolate fountain were also available. The staff was very friendly. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last; we'd love to come back.

World-class! I'm a regular here. For work, I travel all over Germany and have tried many buffets and restaurants. The food was always fresh, and the service staff was extremely polite. They're always doing something new, so it's not just the same old thing. The sushi looks great and tastes delicious, unlike other buffets that only offer five standard items. The price is very fair. I think the €5 extra charge for taking too much is too low. Unfortunately, I've often seen them throw away large quantities of food because people were greedy. (For example, they took all the donuts, and a huge plate piled high with them was returned.) That's the only negative point I have, and it's not the restaurant's fault. Many people lack charm; instead of taking a bite or a normal portion, they're food-hungry and take everything, or they behave terribly. BUT even if one person takes everything, they're very quick to refill the product so others can get some too. I find the food there very tasty. I've never had cutlery or plates with anything stuck to them.

At first, I was a bit shocked by the extra charge for unemptied plates and drinks, and the time limit. However, upon closer inspection, it actually makes sense and is a great concept. Take your time to eat and relax. Enjoy the food and try new dishes without being wasteful. The buffet was incredibly delicious and unlike any other Asian buffet I've experienced before, which included some truly new and unfamiliar dishes. It's worth the price, and the service is very friendly. We'll be back next time we're in Gotha 😉

Good parking, nice restaurant, friendly service...the food is less good: a completely sweet Peking soup with almost no substance, the beef also sweet and with a strangely soft consistency, the red cabbage salad completely oversalted, and the rest of the hot dishes look good but taste lackluster. In the chef's reference, one could say "he always made an effort." I'm actually a passionate Chinese food fan, but once is enough there. Sorry...

That evening, the all-inclusive buffet was less advisable. Visiting after 8 p.m. is less advisable. After our movie night, we went to the buffet. It was already very limited, and they weren't refilling it, as they closed at 10 p.m. The kids were looking forward to sushi, but there were only eight pieces left on the display. It cost €29.90 per person (€19.90 for children up to 11 years old), including drinks. The grill was cleaned at 8:30 p.m., so that was the end of it, too. It also felt like being kicked out when you'd barely finished your plate when it was cleared away, including your cutlery. Today, we didn't feel very comfortable at our family evening with the five of us.

We booked a table by phone in the morning, only to find out upon arrival that only the buffet was available. Given the prices, it wasn't worth it for us, especially since we had an 8-year-old child with a bloated stomach who would have had to pay €20 (!!!) for five fries and two nuggets. After I clearly stated that I wouldn't pay for it and that we wouldn't have come in the first place if they had communicated this over the phone, they only charged the adults for the buffet. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't great either; it's more like a noisy cafeteria. When I see children dipping their fingers into the sauce on the ladle and putting it back, I know why I don't want to eat a buffet. Also, they stopped refilling the food after about 8:15 p.m. When we paid, we were reminded again that the child-related issue was an exception, and when we said they could have told us that over the phone, we were told to question it. According to the website, who serves a ladle here? Then I assume I can eat that, too. Never again Asia Palast; the previous owners were far better!

We were here for the first and last time. You're only allowed to stay for a maximum of two hours, and then you have to pay extra. And the staff always comes and reminds you when to leave. The manager, with a terrible accent, yelled at me when I reserved a table. The food is delicious, though. But for 30 euros per person, I can spend the whole evening in the restaurant in such a pleasant atmosphere and be just as full.

A very good buffet with free soft drinks, water, and hot drinks. The service is very friendly, and you're not forgotten. The selection is decent, with a generous dessert platter and a chocolate fountain. Sushi is also delicious, and even vegetarian options are available.

Everything is very tasty. The drinks package is also great. They have a large selection of bottled drinks, even for those who don't want alcoholic drinks like elsewhere, with syrup mix from the vending machines. For 19.90, it's great value for money. One of the waitresses is a bit brusque in her manner.

A culinary experience! For the price, the selection is more than adequate! The buffet is filled with a wide variety of dishes and is always well-stocked! The service is very friendly and attentive! The premises are neat and clean! But by far my favorite part was the freshly prepared dishes! An all-around fantastic experience. I also like the fact that there's a €5 surcharge for unfinished plates or drinks! Very sustainable! We'll definitely eat there again!

Typical Asian cuisine. I was surprised by the self-service concept for drinks. The buffet price of €29.90 per person is okay, because you can eat and drink as much as you want. Children pay less. It's €19.90 for those under 12, and €9.90 for those under 7 on a Friday. I didn't film everything. There's also sushi and some raw ingredients to fry. The service during clearing was also very quick, and everyone was very friendly. As for the taste, I can only say it's typical for a buffet. Nothing extraordinary, but everything is well prepared and quickly replenished.

You can eat buffet style here. I've never seen such a large selection. It's incredible what's on offer. Ready-made meals and products that are freshly prepared individually. A hefty price tag, but it's great value for money. Selected soft drinks are also included. We were a bit shocked by the notice that there's a €5 charge for unfinished plates. But it makes sense. Try it first, and if it tastes good, you can have it later. It's better to run out and refill your plate than have it all end up in the trash. Be disciplined about spending the €5.

Of course, I don't expect the taste I've experienced on my travels to Asian countries from a buffet restaurant like this. But of all the Asian buffets I've tried so far, the Asia Palace was by far the worst! Taste: Below average to very bad Dry and tough meat, sushi with rice that could be described as a sticky, tough, and dry mess... And the highlight: a huge blob of mayonnaise on many pieces of sushi - it tastes awful! Additional highlight: We were still feeling nauseous for two hours afterward, even though we didn't eat much because of the taste. Service: We were denied seating on the outdoor terrace despite repeated requests; the impending rain wasn't cited as an excuse, of course. Besides, we could have sat inside; there was plenty of space. Inside, people rolled their eyes because we couldn't decide on a table right away. It was more of a demand than a request that we book the buffet with a drinks package, so we assumed it was mandatory, which it later turned out wasn't. Then they immediately stated, in a rather odd way, "You don't need more than an hour." The cards at the table said you had 150 minutes. That's why the comment about the 1 hour seemed a bit odd. Generally, we were treated coldly and unfriendly from the start. ...

We were there for the first time today and were very satisfied. The front-of-house cooking was particularly impressive. The vegetables and meat were very good. The buffet dishes were also very tasty. The staff was very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

For us the best Chinese in Thuringia

In my opinion, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The selection is very limited and not a great one for the price. The meat was very overcooked and tasted poor. You only get one napkin; if you need another, you have to use a tissue from a paper box.

The first thing we saw was this horrible rubber palm tree, so we deducted one point for the ambiance. The homemade juice was very tasty. Unfortunately, the food was overcooked, the selection wasn't that great, and the only ready-made vegetables were mushrooms and beans. The taste was so-so. We had to ask for salt and pepper, as well as toothpicks, and they weren't on the tables. Cutlery wasn't provided either. Initially, we were given a napkin with sunflowers. We needed a second one, but we got it. You know those gray ones from the vending machine? Oh well... We couldn't find a wheelchair entrance, but people over 80 get a €2 discount. And as a smoker, I'd like a covered smoking area.

If you want a quick bite to eat for €28 per person, this is the place for you... The atmosphere and ambiance aren't designed for a cozy evening... As soon as you sit down at the table, a sort of checklist is placed on which everything is noted, including your arrival time. Even if you want something from the menu, it's better to go elsewhere... We had to pay a €1 service charge for this, and were constantly checked to make sure we weren't eating from a different plate. The food was okay.

The food tasted really good, hence four stars. Unfortunately, the service was sometimes a disaster and spoiled the whole visit. There were three people on duty: a man, a short woman and a tall woman. The gentleman and the little lady were very friendly, attentive and polite, high praise for that. Unfortunately, the tall woman is completely different: extremely unfriendly, impolite and completely inappropriate in her communication. Quote: “If you eat from the menu and your colleagues eat the buffet, you have to pay €1 extra because we can’t tell who eats what.” The tone was completely inappropriate. Another incident: There was an 11-year-old child who, according to the menu, was supposed to be charged a child price of €19.90. The waitress asked for ID (!) and didn't believe us that children of that age in Germany don't have one. We didn't want a fight so paid full price, very disappointing. Here, too, the reaction was with an unfriendly tone and evil looks. Conclusion: Food was good, but unfortunately not a recommendation due to the extremely rude service. Very unpleasant experience, we will definitely not be coming back.

Very tasty and extensive buffet. And what I really liked is that you want to be sustainable. If you overload your plate and produce waste, you pay an extra 5 euros for each plate. I think that's great. The selection of drinks is huge. The staff is friendly and considerate. Very clean and welcoming. Priced completely reasonable. The restaurant has improved a lot since my last visit a year ago. That's rare.

Overall, the restaurant is worth a visit as it offers an extensive selection of food and drinks. Parking is located directly behind the restaurant. Unfortunately, there is a service person who does not work optimally in this position. She leads guests to tables that are unappealing, even though there were plenty of other seats available that you weren't allowed to choose from - and nothing was reserved. The way she places the guests together in close proximity during the meal is also unfortunate. I also find it unpleasant and unprofessional that she continually clears away dishes while eating.

We were in a larger group for the lunch buffet. Food was very tasty and the selection was great. From starters, soup, sushi to main courses and desserts, such as ice cream and chocolate fountains, you can feast heartily for 150 minutes. The service always quickly clears away the “leftovers”. The only complaint was the limited space in the aisle at the buffet. There would be a little room for improvement. Otherwise highly recommended! The little birthday present was also very nice! We were very happy about that.

Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. In addition to almost exclusively fried food, there was a section with “fresh” raw meat, vegetables and fish. It was tough and partly inedible in taste. Maybe it was a little too long. But there was a huge selection of drinks and something sweet. Stopped there today by chance. Absolute top. All you can eat buffet had a selection that was second to none. Drinks, desserts all included in the price. The visit was definitely worth it. But I'll drive almost 90km again at any time!!

We had dinner with 16 people on Saturday. Very friendly service, great organization and the food (buffet) was really excellent, very varied, something for every taste. Drinks are included and there is also a large selection. We'll be happy to come back when we get the chance!

We were there for dinner today. We were shocked right from the start. It went to the table and you had to immediately decide whether you wanted buffet or a la carte. The buffet now includes drinks (beer, non-alcoholic), wine costs extra. However, you have to get this yourself from refrigerated shelves. Contrary to the online menu, the prices have been increased significantly - 29.90 euros for adults, children aged 7 and over 19.90 euros. We still decide on buffet. We then had to decide how and with what we would pay. Then came the next big thing, we got a piece of paper saying that you have 2.5 hours to eat - if you exceed this, you have to pay €5 per person. If you also leave something left over when eating or don't drink the drink, you will also pay a fine of 5 euros per person!!! Halfway through the time our cutlery was put away and you almost had the feeling of being thrown out. The person was also very unfriendly, no grin, no nice word, on the contrary there was always a "stupid" comment from the older waitress. When we paid, we simply kept the remaining money and didn't even ask if we wanted the money back. To be honest, we won't be coming back any time soon. It's a shame.

A pan-Asian restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet. You can also put together the ingredients fresh and have them fried according to your own specifications. The highlight that I didn't know about until then: there is a drinks flat rate with which you can get the glass bottles with your favorite drinks from a variety of refrigerators. The quality of the food is okay, but when it's full it's also quite noisy. But it's definitely not a mistake to go here.

We like to come here for a buffet meal. Everything is always freshly made and super tasty. If you eat buffet style, drinks are included. Everything from water to coffee and juice to beer. There is a small outdoor area and on weekends there is a show kitchen where they freshly prepare raw food. There are different prices for the buffet. This always depends on the time of day and day of the week. It is cheapest during the week for lunch. Most expensive on Sundays and public holidays. But everything is within the scope of what you get. Of course you can also order from the menu. There are also some delicious dishes there. And there is the option to order and then pick up your food. All in all a nice, bright and clean restaurant. The employees are always friendly and the service is very good. We'd love to come back.

Been here again for a long time. New operator, a little remodeled, especially the buffet section. Really good offer, great selection, nice service and it is always refilled straight away if something is empty. I can only recommend it because the price is right.
