We discovered it by chance, among the countless kebab shops. Super cozy atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly staff. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

I had such a great time at this Greek restaurant! From the food to the service, everything was spot on. We kicked things off with a classic Greek salad, then went for the gyro, and the souvlaki was just as amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. And as a nice surprise, he treated us to two complimentary Ouzos at the end—such a sweet, authentic gesture. If you're in the mood for some delicious Greek food and warm, welcoming service, I definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful and authentic Greek restaurant ran by a very friendly Greek family who makes you feel at home. The Gyros dish is the best quality gyros I have tried (and this is coming from a Greek native), so if you’re looking for a true Greek experience, do not miss to visit this lovely restaurant while in Berlin! Good food and pleasant atmosphere. We spontaneously got a table at 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening. 2 main courses including salad, 2 beers and a large bottle of water cost us just over €60 including tip. Overall everything was wonderful. The waiters were attentive and very helpful.

A pleasant restaurant with very polite and professional waiters. Delicious vegan food that truly has a homemade taste and is made with love. HOWEVER: most of the vegan options lack any source of protein. I encourage this restaurant to add textured soy as a meat substitute, tempeh, seitan or tofu. Many vegans might prefer another restaurant that includes protein in its menu, especially in a city and street full of excellent vegan options. Otherwise, it's absolutely excellent. As a Mediterranean, my heart recognized the flavor of our homemade food culture.

Si fue porque no había tantos huéspedes, o si el anfitrión es siempre tan agradable, no lo sabemos, pero fuimos muy bien recibidos. El menú era en gran medida verdaderamente griego, la comida también era buena y a precios razonables. La carta de vinos era típicamente griega, delgada al igual que el vino en sí.

By chance I went to this restaurant with my companion on a Friday evening. From the welcome to the farewell, we had great, attentive and friendly service. Occasionally the waitress wasn't sure whether we had already tried ouzo and gave us samples as a precaution. The starter "Medium mixed starter plate with taramas, tzatziki, kopanisti and eggplant paste" is enough for four people. You get bread immediately - and plenty of it. I had a mixed plate of super tender, delicious bifteki and very tasty gyros (in my experience, you rarely find good gyros in restaurants). My companion ordered a schnitzel. At first we were worried or suspicious that it was a Greek with a “schnitzel world”. The schnitzel was also great. A little note: The fried potatoes are delicious and especially for people who like herbs. We spent almost four hours here and will come back. After 5 months, another weekend in Berlin, brought new guests and they were also enthusiastic about the food, service and ambience, so we had dinner here for two evenings, like our last visit. Eating here is a pleasure and for us it won't be the last time that we would like to come back in such a great atmosphere. The cocktails are also highly recommended. Great Greek restaurant with plenty of options, including lots of veggie plates! I, of course, got a schnitzel and some mushroom sauce which was fantastic and my vegetarian date got the stuffed pepper. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was about what you'd expect from the typical Greek restaurant. They were a bit swamped when we were there, so we were sat waiting for some time trying to flag them down. Other than that, a nice spot with healthy portions.

Sehr grosse Portionen, freundliches Personal. Atmosphäre so la la, draussen auf der Straße sehr laut. Das Essen ist gut, hat aber, wie bei allen griechischen Restaurants in Berlin, mit original griechischer Küche nichts zu tun.

Food was really nice, as were the people working there. Unfortunately when we were there, there was an extremely loud group of people sitting a few tables away, that ruined the atmosphere a bit (as I could barely hear myself talk over their drunk shouting), but I would definitely go back again soon and try out the other dishes on the menu. Everything on the menu looked really good and it was a hard choice, but a good one to take the Gyros :) Also has a good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes!

Ein sehr schönes griechisches Restaurant mit angenehmem Ambiente, sehr freundlichem Service und leckerem Essen (ich hatte Souvlakia mit Pommes und Tzatziki, es war fantastisch).

Der Inhaber ist die personifizierte Freundlichkeit. Aufmerksam, gebildet und ein angenehmer Gesprächspartner. Lediglich die Speisekarte hat mich überfordert. Die Menge an Speisen erschlägt mich, die Systematik der Präsentation in der Karte ist für mich nicht erkennbar. Auch die Nummerierung der Speisen in der Karte habe ich nicht verstanden. Die Speisen waren vorzüglich und üppig. Wir waren alle gut saturiert. Mein Fazit: Wer Freude an griechischer Lebensfreude und griechischen Speisen hat, der ist im Arethussa in der Pannierstraße 55 in Berlin-Neukölln gut aufgehoben. Lediglich die Speisekarte ist eine Überforderung.

Super plaats met 10 personen welkom en super service. We hebben de borden niet leeg kunnen krijgen.

ambiente ist, als würde man auf pinterest ein griechisches restaurant suchen. das essen ist oke, aber man kann über den preis debattieren. furchtbar ist jedoch dass man früher für die 5 euro soße ca. ein 0,3l bekommen hat (echt tolle soße, mit pilzen - mega um seine pommes reinzutunken) - und jetzt liefern die etwas was mehr einem schnappsglas ähnelt. ach und früher waren es nicht 5 euro für die sosse. ist leider nicht haute cuisine, dafür aber zu einem pseudo-preis. holt euch n döner. ist vom anspruch ähnlich, vom preis aber günstiger. und ist mir echt BLAAAAA was der besitzer gleich dazu schreibt.

Ich gehe hier gerne essen denn das Essen ist lecker und reichlich. Meine Kollegen wollen hier auch gerne öfter mit mir essen gehen weil die Sardellen scheinbar richtig gut sind. Ich selbst esse keine Sardellen, ich esse dann lieber die leckeren Fleischgerichte.

Es ist immer wieder erfreulich bei euch zu sitzen und die leckeren Speisen zu probieren. Ihr seid sehr freundlich und achtsam. Weiter so!

Essen innerhalb kürzester Zeit an den Tisch gebracht und in Berlin außergewöhnlich guter Geschmack, gute und liebevolle Gastfreundschaft und ein authentisches Ambiente! Wir kommen des Öfteren hierher und sind jedes Mal erstaunt, wie freundlich und zuvorkommend wir empfangen werden. Mitunter kann es an vollen Tagen wie gestern an Himmelfahrt auch mal länger dauern, bis das Essen fertig ist. Die Wartezeit wird aber mit kleinen griechischen Schnäpsen aufs Haus verkürzt. Das Essen selbst ist jedes Mal wundervoll und typisch griechisch nicht zu knapp bemessen. Das Publikum ist angenehm mittelalt bis jung, gemischt und bunt wie der Kiez rundrum. Das Innere ist angenehm gestaltet, warm und freundlich. Auch draußen gibt es Tische, die gerne bei schönem Wetter wie gestern genutzt werden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut stimmig. Insgesamt kann ich dieses angenehme Lokal nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

I got fooled by the positive reviews of this place. The experience was awful. I took my mom there for an authentic experience as it was her first time in a Greek place. And boy was I wrong to pick this place as they made the experience very bad. While ordering we asked for grill mix teller and A PIECE of lamb kotlett on top. After a dreadful wait of 1 hour 15 minutes we finally got our food. Also during the long wait we had to ask for ouzo that was NOT on the house. The staff was informed 2 times of our wait - 3 tables around us came later, got served and finished their dishes WHILE WE WERE STILL WAITING. The food that arrived was an extra plate of full lamb teller that we didn’t order with a block of butter instead of tzatziky as a side. The tzatziky was not authentic, without garlic and food was super dry without onion garnish. No ouzo either. Before paying the staff was informed politely about the mistakes. Their solution was that they won’t charge us for the ouzo that is supposed to be on the house in an AUTHENTIC Greek restaurant as a part of the experience. Also there was no Greek music or any music in the background. The lamb platter was an extra 25 € on top of the bill for which we had to wait another 15 min eventhough we make it clear that we’d like to leave. The restaurant was not even busy and we received such treatment. I’m a Greek fan and always return to my verified restaurants. I guess trying something new in this case doesn’t pay off. Avoid if you want an AUTHENTIC experience. Very disappointed.

Obwohl ich nicht mehr in Neukölln lebe, komme ich sehr gerne hier her.

Wir waren am Samstag den 10.03 2023 zu dritt da, weil wir Lust und Appetit auf griechisches Essen hatten und etwas bei uns in der Nähe gesucht haben. Die Auswahl trafen wir anhand der Beurteilungen aus dem Internett und so viel unsere Wahl auf diese Gatstätte. Um es deutlich und und ohne Übertreibung zu sagen wir wurden bitter enttäuscht. Bei diesen doch sehr stolzen Preisen war unsere Erwartungshaltung entsprechend, was wir dann aber serviert bekamen grenzt schon an einer Unverschämtheit, ja regelrechten Zumutung. Die größe der Teller entsprach allenfalls Kinderteller niveau, meine Pommes mit etwas Gyros in der Mitte und einen in der Speiskarte sogenannten Klecks Tzatziki, gereicht mit Brot aus der Dönerbude waren ein Witz. Das Gyros war kalt und pfad und das ganze für sage und schreibe 20,- Euro. Das Fleisch meiner Begleiterin war trocken und zäh, ebenfalls für immerhin 20,- Euro. Ja und unsere zweite Begleitung hatte das selbe wie ich. Alles in allem kamen wir zusammen mit zwei Vorspeisen zwei Bier, ein Wasser und einen Kaffee auf sagenhafte 94,- Euro für diese minderwertige Qualität. Normalerweise schreibe ich eigentlich keine Rezensionen, da ich aber auch jetzt noch einen Tag später richtig fassungslos bin über das erhaltene Essen konnte ich nicht anders als meinen Eindruck zu schildern.Was uns betrifft, hier nie wieder!

One of the worst Greek places I've been to in Berlin. The Souvlaki was okay but the Moussaka was not really good ! The service was fantastic and as always they give you free shots of Ouzo. The atmosphere was okay. Nothing really to comment about ! Unfortunately I will not be going back there for the food !!!
