We were at the restaurant for a birthday. Cozy and rustic. Toilets modern and clean. Overall a nice restaurant. In addition to a menu with meat and vegetarian dishes, there is also a menu with two pages of vegan dishes and, in addition to warm/cold starters, there are also several main courses and desserts. Everything we ordered was vegan and very tasty. We were super satisfied and full. We were there for the first time and would love to come back. Really something special and definitely highly recommended for vegans and everyone who wants to eat delicious vegan food. Thank you.

We waited half an hour until we got drinks. Way too long. Food was OK but not special.

Maybe the wrong evening... A lack of staff sometimes makes a big difference... But unfortunately the food wasn't good either. I'm really sorry, but you easily need 2 waiters on duty... the tables were full of dishes everywhere. We got the starter with the main courses at the same time but no cutlery, no drama, I have a mouth, but that evening it was the mixture that made it. First of all the drinks were good... I had a stuffed pepper as a starter, but unfortunately the feta wasn't at all good. I ordered lemon with my taramas, that worked well, but I had to wait so long for the bread that I couldn't finish it because I was full, let alone who is 300 grams of fish roe cream without bread?:D with that Shovel... Conclusion: if the tables are full of dishes around a rum and only one waiter tries to tear the place down, it has a negative effect on the mood, and if the food doesn't really taste good, the conclusion is unfortunately bad. I'm sorry

I was there with my daughter after the Auer Dult and we really enjoyed our stay there! Although we didn't eat "big" (the food that was brought past our table looked wonderful and appealing), the innkeeper was incredibly friendly and gave us a lot of joy with his cheerful manner. The drinks (wines) were excellent! A place you'll enjoy coming to!

Very friendly service from the host, unfortunately it did seem he was the only one serving though which must’ve been a stretch and resulted in quite a wait at times. The food was tasty and very generous portion sizes, more than reasonable for the price, we could’ve actually shared one main between two people! Particularly recommend; feta psiti, Greek salad, lamb cutlets.

Apostle’s is the ONLY Greek restaurant in Munich that I know of with its own vegan menu! In addition to the two-page menu, where all the classic Greek dishes can be found in vegan versions, there is also a regular menu with meat and fish dishes, which my husband says are also very good. For my part, I only have vegan dishes, such as: For example, I tried the braised eggplant from the oven with “vetar shavings”, tzatziki with grape leaves and baklava and everything tasted fabulous without exception! The restaurant is basically very cozy and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. An absolute recommendation!

Super tasty dishes, especially some highlights for vegetarians. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening.

The food was impeccable, my bad rating explained in three sentences 1) We were served Augustiner from the bottle and sold from the barrel for Tegernseer (I saw the bottle being opened behind the counter) 2) After we asked, the waiter became vocally aggressive and yelled at my husband 3) My husband put his flat cap on the chair while eating. The restaurant was completely empty and after dinner his cap was no longer there. Despite searching and calling the next day, it remained missing. It's strange that this is exactly what happens when the waiter is so mad at you. A pity....

A very good Mediterranean restaurant, with a wide range of vegan and vegetarian selections of food varieties. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. The Moussaka was really tasty and stomach filling. I really recommend it if anyone is planning for a Mediterranean food.

Are you an alien in München? Schnitzels and würtz are boring? Put some sun in your board and try their delicious fishes (loup de mer and dorade) with their wonderful malagousia white wine... And I don't tell you anything about the vegetables accompanying. More than nice, excellent!!!

I haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. Had gyros with metaxa sauce. Extremely good. From salad to final coffee. Everything perfect.

Unacceptable burger with a very bad taste, not to continue. some vegetables and 5 forkfuls of gyros tasted the same..... We saved, good luck to the next ones

We had lunch with our 2 children this afternoon before we went to the German Museum. The food was excellent and came very quickly. The waiter was super friendly. We will come back on our next visit to Munich. Full points.

Simple but nice restaurant without any fancy... good food and friendly service with Greek charm. You can stay there comfortably with several people and feel welcome.

We were served directly by the landlord, who was in a good mood. The food was very tasty and the portions were more than large enough. Typical Greek food with a great selection. We'd love to come back.

First impression from inside was very good; beautiful architecture, clean toilets and good cutlery. The service was very nice and helpful with the selection. But the food was the worst, from the look to the taste 10/10. Would recommend everyone to eat here, definitely try the gyros A MUST!!!

Only recommended! We have been eating here for several years and it always tastes wonderful. The employees are incredibly friendly and hard-working. Everything tastes extremely good here! Whether vegetarian, fish or meat. The desserts are also a culinary delight. In the photos there is the tender lamb shank with fries and the baby calamari with vegetables 😋

Very tasty food! Meat, fish and vegetables are of the best quality as is the service. The entire team is very friendly and experienced. The ambience is very pleasant and beautiful. I like how open the owners are. They even offer vegan options. There really is something for everyone here!

I've been there 4 or 5 times so far. I'm actually not a fan of Greek food because you can't get it vegan. But there is also a purely vegan menu here, from starters to main courses and desserts and even vegan red wine (on request). I find that particularly praiseworthy. I always find the service very refreshing, it makes you laugh and makes you feel very welcome. So far all the dishes have been delicious and I can warmly recommend apostles, simply a great restaurant. LG Tamara

My boyfriend and I went to Apostle's for dinner yesterday for Valentine's Day. We accidentally found out about the vegan menu in HappyCow and really wanted to try the restaurant. Simply ask for the vegan menu and then you can choose from all vegan cold and warm starters, salads, burgers, bowls, main courses and desserts. We had pita with tzatziki and warm feta on tomatoes as a starter and moussaka, grilled artichokes and tomato rice as our main course. The food tasted super delicious. You could go there several more times and try new vegan dishes again and again. The landlord Dimos is also super warm and hospitable, as if you had been a guest in his restaurant for years! We will definitely come back, just because of Dimo's warm nature, and can only recommend the restaurant!! ☺️

Yesterday we had lunch at Apostle's for the first time. We chose the Apostle plate with vegetables twice. Everything is super authentic and great quality. As non-vegans, we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive vegan menu and were able to try some of it. Conclusion: We will definitely come back and thank you for the great service.

Gemütlich, lecker und lädt zum Genießen ein! Besonders der Feta in Filoteig ist als Vorspeise sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin spontan übers Wochenende mit München. Wir haben nach dem anschauen der Altstadt ziemlichen Hunger gehabt und ein griechisches Lokal aufgesucht. Hier wurden wir sehr überrascht. Faire Preise und seehr leckeres Essen. Unser Essen war innerhalb 20min serviert. Zudem ist die Bedienung extrem freundlich und es gab sogar dips zum Pitabrot auf‘s Haus. Würde jederzeit wieder zum Essen kommen!

Perfekt. Es gibt normale griechische Küche und auch vegane Küche. Alles sehr lecker

Das Essen war gut. Leider stimmten die Preise für den Mittagstisch nicht mit denen auf der Internetseite überein.. Außerdem wurde uns gefragt ob wir noch eine kleine Pita zum essen haben wollen. Wir dachten, diese sei im Menü schon inklusive, aber da haben wir uns wohl geirrt. Für eine Mini-Pita wurden ganze 3€ berechnet und am Ende wurde noch diskutiert, ob wir mit Karte zahlen dürfen oder nicht. Die Einrichtung an sich ist schön, würde aber eher zu einem deutschen Wirtshaus passen..

War bisher 2 Mal in dem Restaurant. Das Essen schmekt mir sehr gut: vielen Dank an die Köche! Dir Bedienung ist leider unterschiedlich gut gewesen: die weibliche Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die männliche Bedienung war auch freundlich, fummelte allerdings an die Speisekarte herum, was einen unangenehmen Eindruck hinterlassen hat.

Service was excellent, our waiter gave excellent recommendations and was very attentive with a very good command of spoken English. The food and wine was excellent! Loved the decor and atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!

Zur Mittagspause wollt ich den dort angebotenen Lunch nutzen. Um 13 Uhr war ich dort, kein anderer Gast im laden. Ich gab meine Bestellung auf und das Getränk und die Suppe kamen sehr zügig. Auch die Hauptspeise hatte ich bereits um 13.10 Uhr am Tisch. Aber nun kommt das absolute No-Go. Die Kellnerin verließ das lokal. Mein Teller war inzwischen leer und nun hieß es warten. Als um 13.30 Uhr die Kellnerin immer noch wie vom Erdboden verschwunden war, erlaubte ich mir zu rufen "hallo?" Keine Reaktion. Und der Koch in der Küche war mehr mit niesen beschäftigt als drauf zu reagieren. Um 13:40 Uhr tauchte die Dame aus einer Tür neben der Küche auf. Kein Blick zum weiterhin einzigen Gast im Lokal und ging erstmal aufs Klo. Meine Mittagspause war nun rum und ich musste zurück zur Arbeit. Als sie um 13.45 Uhr vom WC wieder raus kam, bat ich um die Rechnung. Sie kam auch sofort und wollte den vollen Betrag. Ich wies sie darauf hin das ich seit 30 Minuten einsam im Lokal sitze und auf die Nachspeise wartete. Sie meinte das sie diese sofort bringen kann. Ich teilte ihr mit das ich keine Zeit mehr habe und meine Mittagspause zuende ist. Ich zahlte also den vollen Lunchpreis und ging. Wenn der Laden voll gewesen wäre, dann würde ich vorab fragen ob man in 45 Minuten den Lunch bekommt. Aber bei einem leeren Lokal? Dadurch das es 3 Gänge sind, sind die Portionen natürlich auch kleiner. Aber ich habe jetzt 20 Euro bezahlt und gehe durstig und nicht satt aus dem Laden. Mein Getränk war bei der Vorspeise schon fast leer und dank dem 30 Minuten verschwinden der Kellnerin hab ich auch nichts neues bestellen können. Sorry aber das war es für mich bei euch.

Wir waren mehr als angenehm überrascht von diesem Griechen und es wird auch nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein: Top- Fleisch, angemessene Portionen, sehr gute Vorspeisen und auch sehr guter Rotwein. Sehr freundlicher und engagierter Service.

Wir haben schon länger geplant bei unserem ersten Besuch in München im Apostel's essen zu gehen, das vegane griechische Essen wollten wir uns auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt! Wir waren Samstags direkt nach der Öffnung da und wurden schnell bedient. Die vegane Auswahl ist wirklich riesig und deckt alle Gänge ab (v.a. vegane Nachspeisen findet man sonst eher selten). Wir haben uns zu zweit zur Vorspeise Weinblätter und gebratene Artischocken, als Hauptspeise Moussaka und gebratene Aubergine, und als Nachspeise griechischen Joghurt und Orangenkuchen bestellt und geteilt. Alles super lecker und auch schön serviert! Mit etwa 80€ nicht ganz preiswert, aber das war es uns definitiv wert!

Halb gut, halb herzlich, teuer.

Warmes und gemütliches Ambiente, gute, unaufgeregte Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen, große Auswahl an vegetarischen Vorspeisen und ein freundlicher und sympathischer Service. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Abend. Kommen gerne wieder.

Super Location nah an der Isar, wir sind durch Zufall hier drauf gestoßen und sind begeistert! Das Essen war sehr lecker, wurde schnell gebracht. Das zugewandte, gesellige Team verbreitet gute Laune. Klare Empfehlung!

Food: tasty overall but the zucchini pancakes I ordered to take away were still partly not fried so I had to leave a big part uneaten. General: Been there three times since it's fairly close by but we've always had really long waiting times. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Update: very nice, extensive vegan menu! The waiting times have improved!

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Apostels. Sehr gerne wieder. Das Gyros ist sehr gut. Nicht so trocken, wie ich es leider schon in anderen griechischen Lokalen erleben musste. Das einzige Manko....man bekommt keinen kostenlosen Ouzo zum Essen.

Apostel's ist ein solider Grieche, das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Die gebackenen Kalimari auf Rote Beete Humus Creme sind eigentlich als Vorspeise gedacht, reicht bei meiner Frau aber locker als Hauptgericht. Rory, der irisch-griechische Kellner ist immer freundlich und flott.
