Apostel's Restaurant in München

Wir sind nicht zufällig hier gelandet, sondern ganz bewusst, da wir gelesen haben, dass es auch vegane Gerichte gibt. Und diese gab es reichlich, sodass die Auswahl schwerfiel. Das auserwählte Essen war sehr lecker (und es muss ja auch einen Grund geben wiederzukommen 😉), denn auch der Service war hervorragend. Verdiente 5 Sterne! 😊

Es war eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Fleisch war zäh, und im Kebab befanden sich Knochenreste. Die Bedienung dauerte ewig – der Kellner konnte 15 Minuten lang nicht bezahlen.

Nicht schlecht, nicht aussergewöhnlich, Salat nicht super frisch. Kann man machen. Aber auch Nix verpasst wenn nicht :)

Sehr nette Bedienung und toller Service! Eine riesige Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Allerdings werden manche davon auf dem gleichen Grill zubereitet wie das Fleisch. Wenn man aber früh da ist und Glück hat, ist der Grill noch sauber, wenn noch kein Fleisch bestellt wurde. Die Preise sind eher im höheren Bereich aber noch in Ordnung. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, zum Abschluss gab es noch einen kostenlosen Nachtisch aufs Haus. Definitiv eine Empfehlung :)

Ein bisschen langsam beim "Speed of service" aber das Essen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Service nicht besonders sympathisch aber auch nicht unhöflich. Einfach ok. Würde evtl. nochmal gehen. Hätte nichts dagegen.

Die Vegane Karte ist Mega groß und für alle Anderen gibt es eine leckere griechisch authentische Küche. Leider sind die veganen Hauptgerichte nicht zu empfehlen und haben uns nicht gut geschmeckt. Ich rate, als vegane Option, die Vorspeisen ausschließlich zu bestellen. Service und Ambiente waren aber extrem toll!

Bin regelmäßig dort, einmal sogar Geldbörse vergessen: kein Problem. Das Lamm mit Gemüse ist klasse

Sehr freundlich, sehr lecker. Kleiner Nachteil dass eher Barzahlung gewünscht wurde. Denke aber mit Karte wäre schon gegangen wenn wir gewollt hätten. Ouzo gab es keinen aufs Haus… aber dafür noch gratis einen leckeren Nachtisch! Wir kommen wieder.

Ein Griechisches Restaurant mit großer veganer Auswahl! Die Speisen waren super lecker, Preise sind fair. Leider haben wir ein bisschen zu lange auf das Getränk gewartet meiner Meinung nach, es kam erst mkt dem Essen. Ansonsten aber alles super.

Das Essen war hervorragend, das Ambiente toll und vor allem das Personal war so freundlich und herzlich. Wir waren mit unserem Arbeitsteam zum Abendessen dort und alle hatten einen wunderschönen Abend und waren voll des Lobes.

Der Service bei Dimos war fantastisch! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Vom Ouzo über die Vorspeisen und Fischgerichte bis hin zum unglaublichen griechischen Kaffee und den Desserts war alles superlecker. Der Chateau Nico Lazarodi Sauvignon Blanc war exzellent. Auch die Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Es gibt offensichtlich viele Stammgäste, die vom Personal persönlich gekannt werden. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind großzügig.

Ich schreibe diese Bewertung als Lieferkunde. Der vegane Burger ist sehr lecker, ich kann ihn wärmstens empfehlen. Das Milchbrötchen hingegen ist leider das schlechteste, das ich je gegessen habe. Die Lieferung war schnell.

Es gibt hier neben der regulären Karte auch eine Vegane Karte, das ist wirklich super! Ich war zwei mal im Restaurant. Das erste mal hatte die die vegane Moussaka, die mich leider nicht überzeugt hatte. Der vegane Käse war meiner Meinung nach nicht sehr gut. Beim zweiten mal war ich dafür umso mehr überzeugt. Ich hatte die veganen Spinatpuffer die wirklich der Hammer waren und dann den veganen Apostels Burger. Auch wirklich sehr gut! Die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr nett und ich komme gerne wieder um mich weiter durch die Karte zu probieren.

I live in Augsburg, but I always go to Munich for dinner on my birthday. The food was divine; the place is comfortable and the staff are superb. Best of all, they have a wide selection of vegan dishes, so for me, having a vegan guest, it was perfect. I highly recommend it.

In Munich for a couple days in late October, we came here for lunch on a cold rainy Monday after a visit to the Deutches Museum. The food is fabulous. Salad was fresh and brite with olive oil, light vinegar, spices and lemon. The gyros juicy and crisp made even more delicious by hot garlic pita bread and yogurt sauce. Local traffic only. No tourists. Food by greeks for locals. Don't miss this one. If I lived here, it would be a favorite.

It has very authentic vegan options - not just the usual starters you’d expect - even a tzatziki option 😍 they have vegan moussakas and even Pastitio. Vegan desserts and a very open mind! I don’t understand why it’s not more popular in the vegan bubble to be honest! Come come and make this place known! ❤️ the ambiance inside is not my favourite but sitting outside in the summer has a flair to it and when you hear the Greek waiters and close your eyes it’s not far from Athens feels 🥰 see you again soon!

We had a lovely evening here. We received very friendly and attentive service. The food was, as always, delicious. I particularly like the tzatziki because it's not too garlicky. Apparently, the inner germ is removed during preparation, making it very gentle on the stomach. The other dishes we had were also very well seasoned and nicely presented. And of course, we were treated to a glass of ouzo on the house as we left 😊 We paid just under €40 per person for the starter, main course, and three drinks. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'd love to come back!

We've been vegan for over nine years, and for a long time, I thought I'd never eat Greek food again. Then we discovered Apostel's Restaurant, which, in addition to its meat offerings, has its own menu of vegan delicacies. We were immediately pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. The staff was super friendly! We had the potato pancakes filled with Veta as a starter, accompanied by pita with lots of garlic. Everything was delicious. Afterward, we had moussaka and the baked eggplant. Both were so delicious! Perfectly seasoned! It came with a fresh salad and mustard dressing. We will definitely be back 😊

I can only recommend it. A very nice and clean Greek restaurant. We were there in the early afternoon when the kitchen was still closed. Nevertheless, we were allowed to order something hot from the menu without any restrictions, and it tasted very good. Thank you very much for that. German restaurants and pubs could learn a thing or two from this.

A companion and I had a very pleasant evening here with good service. There's something for everyone in terms of food and drinks, which is unusual for Greek restaurants. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. The generous vegan selection here is particularly special, and we will definitely return. The outdoor seating is quite pleasant on a somewhat quieter side street.

I discovered this restaurant via Instagram. I was really excited, especially since we'd already been to Bodhi and my vegan Munich experience was already very good. Unfortunately, my expectations weren't met here. Just looking at the menu online, I was missing a delicious vegan gyro, but oh well, I'll try something else. We must have come on an inconvenient day, as a photographer was there, apparently taking pictures of the dishes. The staff were very busy, and everything took so long that our parking ticket had expired long ago. Parking isn't very convenient here anyway. The appetizers were very good. My non-vegan companion was a bit reserved because he felt the menu was missing standard items... He had trouble finding something. But he was very satisfied with the dessert. All three of us didn't find the main courses that impressed us. The main problem, however, was the service. The waiter (maybe a temporary waiter?) was nice, but he didn't understand a lot of things. The manager was busy elsewhere, and card payments weren't accepted. This should have been communicated earlier. I went in to pay because no one was there. The receipt didn't arrive for ages because he forgot about me. So I had to go back in. We were just passing through, and the tickets had already expired. Luckily, we probably didn't have a parking ticket. Unfortunately, the restaurant fell far short of my expectations.

The vegan menu is lovingly thought out, varied, and completely free of interchangeable substitutes – instead, it's packed with flavor and creativity. The classic dishes for those who like meat or fish are also top-notch – everyone leaves satisfied. And on top of that: A warm, friendly team that makes your stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. For me, an absolute recommendation – and a place you'll definitely want to return to!

They didn't have a card reader, which makes me think they're evading taxes They offer to pay with PayPal..... Besides that, everything was great. The service and food were good at a good price.

I suspect intentional fraud here. Lunch costs €11.90 online on their website. It costs €16.90 on-site. When asked about it, the waiter wasn't at all interested and said IT would have to upload a new menu online. That's unacceptable given a price difference of over 40%. The fact that the waiter was generally unfriendly and the portions small was merely incidental. I reserve the right to take further legal and public action.

Absolutely disgusting. You come alone, you can't order, and it's not busy. Very strange behavior. After being treated like a bum a week ago. I sat at a table that wasn't reserved, they said there were no free tables, and I had to wait. Thanks for that, I have no desire to enter this place again. Probably strangers aren't welcome. Sorry, an absolute no-go these days.

The main courses were quite good, but unfortunately, the value for money wasn't right. Besides a "starter platter" for almost €16, which consisted only of six cream cheese dips, there was no bread either with the starter or in the restaurant in general. You had to order a pita separately, and unfortunately, one pita isn't enough for six dips. A bit of a shame. But our friendly waiter made up for a lot.

We were here five years ago and happened to be back again. The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious. A good, varied selection, especially vegan dishes. It's a lovely place. It would also be nice if they offered vegan gyros, for example; I've seen them a few times before; that would be a good fit. It's not exactly cheap, but it's okay.

After the May Dult we were hungry. Since we don't eat meat at the moment, we noticed this Greek restaurant with a vegan daily menu as we passed by. Everyone was sitting outside - so they went into the restaurant. Cozy and rustic decor. The service was busy but still attentive and very friendly. We ordered, didn't wait very long and were provided with first-class food. We will definitely come back here.

We arrived shortly before 2 p.m. and sat outside in the March sun. The service came quite quickly and took our order. We had the grill plate twice and the zucchini eggplant starter once. About 25 minutes later the main course and starter arrived at the same time. This really could be better. What also immediately caught the eye was that there was no side salad with the main courses and no bread for the starter. Nevertheless, I have to admit that everything was very fresh and really tasty. You could tell from the fried dishes that fresh oil was used. Gyros crispy and well cut. Bifteki is not overly seasoned but still very aromatic. In this combination, the souvlaki turns out to be dry and firm. The tzatziki was unremarkably good. Would like to come back but definitely won't order souvlaki again.

Unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. Despite a reservation, the table was not set upon arrival. The drink order was only taken after 45 minutes and was only served another 30 minutes later. The food arrived over 2 hours after entering the restaurant and even then some at the table had to wait 15 minutes longer for their main course while the others were already finished. The long waiting time was particularly incomprehensible as the restaurant was not even half full. The waitress was also rude and couldn't answer simple questions because she wouldn't let you speak to me. Overall a very disappointing experience, we certainly won't be back.

My absolute highlight is the vegan menu - an incredibly great and large selection. And everything I've tried so far tastes really great! The staff and service have also been very attentive and friendly on all my visits so far. So I can highly recommend Apostle's!

Overall, a great restaurant where you feel very comfortable and as a vegan you get a special menu. The spinach fritters and the garlic pita made from locust bean gum were super tasty! The moussaka, on the other hand, was far too mushy. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the staff is very nice, and of course we'll come back and try it out again :-)

Very nicely designed restaurant, with great starters and sumptuous main courses. At the beginning there is also a special request for vegan, as there is a separate menu for that. Attentive service and beautiful spritz creations as an aperitif - gladly again.

We came for dinner to try some vegan greek specialties, and we left really happy and satisfied! Food was good, we tried the fava, moussaka, grilled artichokes and fried eggplants with tzaziki. Everything was delicious, portions were good and atmosphere was also very nice. The choice for vegetarian/vegan is really big and not boring. Definitely a place to come back!

Great vegan selection! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Since we switched to vegetarian, we haven't eaten Greek anymore. Apostle's has catapulted us back into past memories and without any dairy products or meat. They have a completely vegan menu. Mousaka, keftedes, delicious starters… The dishes are fresh, prepared and served with typical Greek flavors and a lot of love. What's particularly nice is that it's not just side dishes that are served here, but rather well-thought-out plant-based dishes. A great offer for anyone who wants to enjoy vegan Greek cuisine! And the innkeeper is so friendly! Thanks!
