Super delicious food, nice cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.

Sunday 10pm and the kitchen is closed, even though the shop is supposed to be open until midnight.

The food here is delicious, super delicious. As everywhere, everyone has their own tastes, but the quality is excellent. The service is very attentive. The ambiance is good, everything is very clean. Personally, the decor is a bit cold for me—again, it's a matter of personal taste. As long as everything stays the same, I'll keep coming.

We walked in and no one greeted us. We just sat down somewhere and then waited about 15 minutes to get a menu. There were actually eight customers (three tables) in the restaurant. After we got the menu, we waited another 15 minutes to be served, but no one came. We just got up and left.

Turkish restaurant with an idyllic beer garden and friendly service. We only had hot and cold starters. These were okay, but unfortunately not seasoned enough for my taste. I thought it was great that they actually serve an extra 0.5 liters if you order a large shandy or Coke, and for a fair price.

Delicious Turkish grilled dishes and other specialties. Beautifully decorated restaurant, large beer garden idyllically situated under chestnut trees. Friendly, fast service.

Six of us were there last night, and what can I say? The service still needs some work. I don't want to go into detail right now (you have to order your wine yourself, some of the food wasn't really warm, the quality of the food, like the lamb fillet, wasn't really good). And when we did say something, the response was unfortunately a bit rude. Unfortunately, we won't be back, even though my food was good. But you have to learn to deal with criticism constructively. Oh, and it's not a purely Turkish restaurant either.

Today we ordered a grilled platter and were disappointed... The meat was too dry and burnt. The portions were also dry and too small for the number of people. We'll look for an alternative; for the price, it shouldn't be a problem... It's a shame, we've always been satisfied.

Very tasty. Great dishes. Service was nice, but they didn't come for more drinks... They could make a lot more money... The appetizers were also at the table before the drinks. Update... One year later... the food was delicious as always. Service with drinks is getting worse and worse... as a restaurateur, you should really understand that you make the most money from drinks.

When we walked in, four tables hadn't been cleaned. Our table was cleaned while we were already seated. The service was terrible. The food was poorly presented, completely out of character for a Turkish restaurant. My meal, Adana kebab, had been grilled beforehand and only warmed up. The yogurt was thick and had no garlic. My husband's simplest pilav was not cooked, and the kuzu tava served on the plate was so runny. Also, the Turkish restaurant was out of black tea.

The food was good, but the service was terrible! It felt like you had to repeat yourself 10 times if you wanted something.

We had reserved an outdoor table. A thunderstorm was approaching, so everyone went inside. Because of the large group, it was very crowded and noisy. We also requested fries as a side order for two of our dishes, which we unfortunately didn't get. No explanation was given. Due to the difficult parking situation, we will consider reserving a table again.

I picked up my best friend from the train station and we were all hungry so we googled and came across Antalya. Luckily there were three free seats so we could dine there. The service took a while to take the order at the beginning. The food came comparatively quickly. My daughter had Pirzola, my friend and I both had Adana. The meat was juicy and the fries were spicy. Bread was served with it. We were all very satisfied with the food. Our waitress was nice, she could perhaps have asked if you wanted something else to drink, but those are small things. I thought it was good and would love to come back.

In my opinion Karlsruhe's best oriental restaurant. Fresh ingredients and always top service. Easy to reach. Shouldn't be missed.

We ordered our food and were unfortunately very disappointed. It arrived cold and soggy, so it was neither fresh nor appetizing. The taste didn't convince us either. It's a shame, we had hoped for much more.

Unfortunately, all of our food arrived cold. So not lukewarm or similar, but really cold. As we all know, cold meat doesn't taste that good. Too bad!

Nice ambience. Unfortunately, the food and service weren't that great. You wait forever for service, my drink was served in a dirty glass and my food (fish platter) wasn't fully cooked. My companion's food (grill plate) was good.

We were there today and we really enjoyed it! The food was delicious, the shish kebab was incredibly tender, and the waitresses were very friendly. We'd love to come back next time we're in Karlsruhe!

We were looking forward to a pleasant evening, but were unfortunately disappointed.

We were there the day before yesterday, Saturday January 4th, 2025 in the evening. It took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table for the first time and we could order drinks. After ordering the food, the food finally arrived after 50 minutes. My wife's dish (vegetable dish with stuffed braised eggplant) was cold. Young waitress asked: yes, that's how it has to be. Experienced operator asked: no, of course that shouldn't be the case. After 10 minutes the food arrived warm, but strangely it was much smaller than before and much spicier. We both like spicy food, but this was way too much. Mine (Adana Kebab) lacked spiciness. Therefore only one point for the food. The restaurant area is bright. The toilets are very old.

The starter for two people was really tasty and raised our expectations, so we were really looking forward to the main course. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The bread that was served with it was soaked in fat and unfortunately didn't taste particularly good either. Overall, the main course didn't blow us away in terms of taste. In addition, the staff didn't seem really friendly or motivated, which unfortunately spoiled the overall picture of the visit. We definitely hoped for more for the price.

We had dinner with our German guests yesterday evening. The service was good but the food was fruity and the lamb was very tough and I could hardly cut it with a knife and the fried vegetables were black. My guests weren't happy either. Unfortunately..

We were in this restaurant for the first time on December 11, 2024. Ambience was ok, there was a dog running around in the restaurant the whole time but it was ok. The menu is very extensive, lots of choice. Drinks, raki and wine spritzer were fine. Unfortunately, the waiter that day with the long hair in a braid was an absolute dud who missed his job. Not meant personally, no hate, but something so emotionless in a restaurant is very out of place. A sleeping pill would certainly have served us more kindly, kindly, politely and happily. Unfortunately, every cent of tip was too much, but we have decency. The food was good to very good. Appetizer plate for 1 person was very tasty, even though it was only different dips/creams. The main course platter for 2 people was so carelessly and heartlessly prepared that you could think that the waiter had served it. But it still tasted good. Meat had a good grilled flavor. Rice was lukewarm. The flatbread was cold, you could have expected more for over €40. "The eye eats with you" didn't arrive here. We wouldn't come again, so we took the train from Gaggenau to try it out. I think the kebab shop on the corner would have been just as good. 88€ for 2 people is a bit too much. But we are full. There was also a salad. Salad was good. The location is a bit out of the way, looks like the Karlsruhe red light district. So don't think there's a lot of walk-in customers here. You can go there, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it to friends. Just because of the service, as there are better staff at every McDrive. What I noticed in the reviews is that the owner only responds to 5* reviews with “Thank you very much 🙏” every time. He doesn't pay any attention to or respond to all the negative reviews; he probably misses them, but they are much more important. And if you work as a waitress in a restaurant wearing street clothes, you can still put on a shirt or a polo shirt, or at least an apron, so that you are recognized as a waitress. Otherwise you can't tell whether it's the caretaker or the waiter. And when the guests leave the restaurant you should say goodbye and thank them for their visit and wish them a nice evening. The problem in Karlsruhe is that many students who have never seen the inside of a restaurant are hired as waiters due to a lack of staff. I can't expect a butcher's apprentice to help out at a bakery on the weekend and then be able to recite all the types of bread to me by heart. So the conclusion is that the waiter would be suitable for a sports restaurant on the edge of the forest, but not for such a price-class restaurant in the middle of Karlsruhe. Either you do it with love and are a restaurateur with heart and soul, or you prefer to go to the job center or become an ice cream seller. And you should tell the chef that a platter for two people for over €40 shouldn't look like it's being served to a dog. See the pictures, every McDonald's menu looks more appetizing than the listlessly presented food on this plate. A dog would have been very happy about it, but putting something like that on the table for your guests is overkill. A few grilled vegetables would have looked much better visually, the rice looked as if it had just fallen out of the pot onto the plate. So optically 0 ⭐️

Unfortunately disappointing Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience during our visit. There was a dog in the restaurant, so we politely asked if we could change our seats. However, the waitress who served us (she looked Russian) was extremely rude and ignored us. She told us dryly that she had to move the tables first, and added: "You have to wait, and she just turned her face, ignoring us as if she had told us, 'otherwise you can leave'." This kind of tone is not acceptable in a restaurant. We felt unwelcome and were very disappointed with the way we were treated. I hope management takes note of this so other guests are treated better.

Gutes Restaurant mit einer großen Auswahl an türkischen Gerichten. Portionsgrößen sind top, geschmacklich ist es auch gut. Preis-Leistung passt. Im Sommer ist der Biergarten sehr schön. Früher gab es noch Tee umsonst, wurde leider abgeschafft.

I came across the restaurant through the recommendation of a work colleague. I also saw at the same time that it was included in the Schlemmerblock. This saved me €19, see invoice. Soup and food was good. You can drink as much tea as you want, it's just great. The only negative was the rice. It was ok but I would have preferred the fries

The best Turkish food! Really crazy! We can recommend it wholeheartedly. We had the onion salad, Yogurtlu Adana and a chicken stir fry. Very authentic, beautiful location. The Turkish coffee at the end is a must

Food great and plentiful! Prices are okay too! A small point of criticism is the service, which is very friendly, but every now and then you might stop for a moment while walking past and ask if everything is ok or if anyone would like something else! But otherwise everything was great! I was surprised by the outdoor area in the inner courtyard, which you can't even see from the outside when you're standing in front of the restaurant!

Wir waren gestern Abend im Biergarten und es war wunderbar. Herrlich kühl unter den großen Bäumen gesessen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker und die Portionen waren groß. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!! Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

We were in the beer garden last night and it was wonderful. It was wonderfully cool to sit under the big trees. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the food was very, very tasty and the portions were large. We will definitely come back!!! Absolutely recommended!!!

I just had dinner with a friend and was really pleasantly surprised. Very nice service and extremely delicious food. I had lamb in a clay pot with vegetables and flatbread. This was even cooking when it arrived. It was a little spicier, but I love it that way. My friend had very tasty cauliflower and another appetizer; also delicious. Highly recommended restaurant. We were in this restaurant on April 19, 2024 shortly before 6 p.m. In addition to our table of 3 people, there was another table without food. After about 45 (!!!!) minutes we received our starter - and it was still incomplete, nothing spectacular: grilled peppers and cow's milk cheese with olive oil were ordered. Only the pepperoni came. We then waited another half an hour for the main course - the second starter came with it - but we declined this. Appetizer is not called appetizer for nothing!! None of this DOES NOT WORK!!!! We had food with grilled meat and also kebab, here you automatically expect a dipping sauce. Far from it... there were fries and salad with it - so the meat was a dry component. NEVER AGAIN, not recommended at all!!!! In addition, hardly any of the waiters actually understand German. The waitress apologized for the faux pa with the starter when paying, but due to the excruciating waiting times the mood was already in the basement and nothing could have made up for it.

We ordered it to take away. There were anchovies with salad and bread. Anchovies were a disaster. I have no words left for the bread. I can well imagine that it was leftover bread from the neighboring table

Basically, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for authentic Turkish cuisine. The two of us were there with the Schlemmerblock in January and were able to order relatively quickly. The restaurant wasn't fully occupied and it was obvious that the owners' family had taken the back part and were therefore brought forward. After an unreasonably long time the food was there and unfortunately for me it was nothing sensational and the salad was unseasoned. The meat was good. I've been to Turkish restaurants a lot (including in MA) but this one looks like it was "wanted and failed" - unfortunately it has little to do with a Turkish atmosphere. Since the owners have been running the restaurant for many years, they should perhaps rethink the furnishings and invest some money in order to reflect the typical and beautiful flair of Türkiye. It's actually a shame...

The food was delicious, very plentiful. We were served hospitably in a lovely atmosphere.

There were four of us there, the atmosphere was quite nice, but the food really didn't impress us. The minced meat skewers were not cooked properly, the salad was unseasoned and the plates were overloaded. There were pieces of bread on top and underneath that didn't taste good at all and had the consistency of rubber. So if this is typical Turkish cuisine then it's not our taste. The red wine was too cold, but the service was friendly.

I recommend it in no case has anything to do with Turkish cuisine. All very bad rude and not hygienic.

Very dirty, dusty restaurant, the tables were all dirty and were only cleaned after request. The staff is unfriendly. The food doesn't taste good. Instead of yoghurt sauce, we received natural yoghurt and this was charged at 5 euros. After a small discussion with the boss, who was also very unfriendly, we got the money back. I would definitely not eat any more here. All children's chairs were dirty. The toilets were also very dirty.

Delicious food, but it's best to go there without a small child, unfriendly woman with black hair treats you very badly, my two-year-old son broke something in a glass bottle that he was drinking from and we were interrupted while eating because she had to clean it straight away We were allowed to eat the food cold.

Gute Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Lecker gewürzt und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Bedienung hat leider nie nachgefragt, ob man noch was möchte oder ob es schmeckt und war auch nicht sehr freundlich. Die Chefin war sehr nett und hat sich mit den Gästen, die sie kannte unterhalten. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant und würden wieder hingehen. Tee des Tages ist kostenlos und lecker! Toilette war sehr sauber!

Waren zu viert gestern Abend dort. Eine Weile auf die Speisekarte gewartet, aber nicht schlimm. Zu viert 2 Vorspeisen bestellt. Menge ausreichend, 6 Stückle Brot!!!! Für 4 Personen!!!! 3x bei 3 verschiedenen Personen nachbestellt, nie weiteres brot bekommen!!! 2 Essen kommen während Vorspeise noch und waren höchstens noch warm, Reis lauwarm. Dann kommen die letzten 2 essen mind. 10 Minuten später, und eins wieder falsch. Also musste einer wieder auf sein neues Essen warten. Also irgendwas läuft da was schief. Das war unser 3. Besuch und auch letzter Besuch. Nur einmal lief alles richtig. Dafür ist Essen inzwischen zu teuer.

Das Essen und der Service war ganz gut, auch wenn die sich erstmal erschrocken gefühlt haben als 4 Personen an einem Freitagabend zum essen kamen. Das Ambiente benötigt dringend einen update.

Wir waren hier schon 2 Mal zum Essen. Einfach immer wieder gerne. Preis-Leistung einfach super! Der Reis ist sehr lecker. Das Lamm sehr gut! Es war sehr voll, daher würde ich eine Reservierung sehr empfehlen! 🙌

Wir waren gestern zu dritt dort essen. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung empfing uns und führte uns zu einem Platz. Der Hinweis auf den Schlemmerblock war überhaupt kein Problem (in anderen Restaurants friert leider spätestens hier die gute Laune ein), es wurde sogar als absolute Selbstverständlichkeit vermittelt. Die Karte ist reichhaltig und ich würde sagen rein türkisch (von der Speisenauswahl). Das finde ich sehr positiv. Die Preise sind gemessen an den Portionen, am Geschmack und auch an der Qualität sehr angemessen, da zahle ich in vielen Restaurants für weniger Qualität mehr. Der Geschmack war außerordentlich gut. Schön, dass es zum Grillteller traditionelle Beilagen gibt und keine Pommes. Frisch gegrillte, leckere und saftige Fleischwaren. Auch die Calamari meiner Tochter waren perfekt, ebenso wie der Lammtopf meiner Frau. Wir kommen (auch ohne Schlemmerblock) gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente ist etwas altmodisch für meinen Geschmack und das ist nur meine eigene Meinung und soll nicht abwerten. Der Service war etwas langsam, jedoch war das Restaurant auch gut besucht. Dafür war das Essen absolut spitze. Ich hatte einen Gemischten Grillteller. Einfache alles war sehr frisch, hat sehr gut geschmeckt und Preislich war ich auch sehr zufrieden. Sollte ich mal wieder in Karlsruhe sein komme ich sehr gerne wieder.

Schönes Restaurant in der Karlsruhe Südstadt. Die türkischen Speisen sind sehr lecker, Service sehr freundlich. Für Auswärtige Besucher etwas mehr Zeit einplanen wegen Parkplatzsuche 😜😜😜 Aber es lohnt sich.

Good place to try kababs. Liked both the dishes we ordered. They are made fresh and served warm. We went for dinner around 8pm and they didn’t allow us to sit inside. The service is a bit slow considering there was only one other party during that time.

An sich ist es ganz schön gelegen im Hinterhof unter freiem Himmel die ganze Szenerie sieht aber durch den Brunnen relativ schäbig aus. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, der Salat jedoch ziemlich ungewürzt und lieblos. Preislich noch vertretbar aber nichts besonderes im allgemeinen. Eher eine glorifizierte dönerbude als ein ernstzunehmendes Restaurant.

Sehr gutes Essen, frisch, gut gewürzt und insgesamt in Schulnoten eine 2+. Eine 2+ nur, da wir in einer großen Gruppe kamen und das Essen leicht- stark verzögert kam. Das Essen selber war jedoch mega lecker.
