Wow, wow, wow — this is authentic Italian food, absolutely delicious! And Angelo is an amazing person — he explains everything patiently with a smile. When he serves the dishes, he even gives helpful tips, like mixing the cheese properly to enjoy the pasta at its best. The owner is truly lucky to have him!

I’ve tried Pasta all over the world and all over Italy. I can say that the pasta here, especially the carbonara, is really top notch. Fresh pasta, amazing taste. Like in Italy. I’d say best Carbonara in Berlin for sure. Love it! Waiters are kind and knowledgeable. I have two improvement suggestions for the menu: - Add a Ragu alla Bolognese dish to the menu. The chef is from Bologna - I’m sure it would be amazing. - Offer a real Tiramisu. The one you have now is nice, but it’s actually mostly Mascarpone with chocolate on top. A real delicious tiramisu would be great! Keep it up 🥳🇮🇹🍝

We had the pleasure of being served by Philip. He is an absolute delight. Great advice and attentive service. My plate was amazing I took the soup of the day and the plate of the day upon our server's advice. The only reson for the 2 stars on food and 4 on service is my gf asked for parmesan right away and was asked to taste it before. Food is amazing but this is a high end Italian restaurant period. We had to ask to change my God's plate and it came out way too salty. Pastas are going to be aldente. This is how they make it. Great place great service just know what you're getting into. I loved my plate my gf who chose the place, not so much.

Excellent Sicilian olive oil produced by the owner's family. Tagliolini with truffle and quality eggplant parmigiana. The owner is extremely kind and professional.

A True Taste of Italy at Its Finest Dining at AMON Restaurant – Cucina Italiana was nothing short of exceptional. The food was incredibly flavorful, with a refined and balanced palate that speaks of true culinary craftsmanship. Each dish felt carefully composed, delivering that pura gioia, pure joy, that only authentic Italian cuisine can offer. The wines were outstanding, each glass perfectly complementing the meal and elevating the experience. What truly made the evening unforgettable, however, was the impeccable service, warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate. The setting was elegant yet relaxed, a perfect backdrop for what turned out to be a magical Italian evening. My only regret? Great pizza and tiramisu, 3 on the dice for the panna cotta.

Ambience: When I arrived, I felt a bit underdressed in casual clothes, but that's deceptive. Service: The service was friendly and very humorous, without seeming less than professional. They gave us time to chat without making us wait too long for our food. Food: Starter Small breads, warm and crispy. The soup of the day was a delicious sweet potato soup with a bit of guanciale. In a vegetarian version, the soup might have been a bit bland. Food: Main Course We had the various pasta dishes, and in one word, fantastic.

Cozy and classy atmosphere on a rainy day. Open kitchen made for excellent ambiance. Excellent pasta of the day dish! Only disappointment was 3.5 euro charge for 0.5 liter of ordinary tap water; order wine or beer (cheaper) instead!

Such a cute place! Found this place by accident when i was scrolling through google maps and i did not regret coming in. Ambience was totally cozy and it felt like your small, cozy neighborhood restaurant. Really enjoyed every single menu i ordered. The service was on point and i felt really taken care of. Tried a new type of pasta here too called Bigoli, the waitress was able to explain to me in detail what Bigoli is. Loved how unique the texture was. Also +++ points for the olive oil that they served me. Amazing. I had never really tried a high quality olive oil until just now. Super love ❤️❤️

Very attentive service. The food took a little longer to arrive, but was delicious. Both the Qasi Caprese appetizer and the main courses of spaghetti carbonara, parmigiana, and the wonderful caponata were delicious.

Truly an exceptional and excellent experience! I have been eating spaghetti’s all over the globe and I can comfortably say that it is truly the place that has the best carbonara spaghetti. The food is astonishing and the environment is truthfully joyful and the toilet are extremely clean. Shout out to Pedro(sorry man I cant pronouce your real name) waiter from Uraguay who has been extremely nice and friendly to us. The food here is truly good and cheap for its taste. I would never forget this experience.

The Parmigiana was the driest I've ever had. And I have had many. The skrei was totally without salt and taste, and I come from Norway where it's made. Kind and attentive service on a charming location. But the food was not good enough, I'm sorry

I rarely write reviews, but the Pasta Norma was by far the best pasta I've ever eaten. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The already high Google rating attracted me, but I hadn't done any further research, so we just walked in. We received extremely friendly service, and then the delicious food was presented. It was a great location for a family meal!

Be careful! If you write bad reviews, you'll be sued by the restaurant. *Corrected: not sued, but a complaint via Google. Your review will be deemed libelous and will be blocked from being read.* I don't think it's right that you can only praise the restaurant. The food was so-so, the waiter a bit condescending. There are definitely better Italian restaurants in Berlin. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself is beautiful. Edited: Yes, I find it funny too. The uncertainty of a restaurant... Judging by the other reviews, the restaurant is trying to force guests to have their bad reviews removed. That's pure bullying. You have to prove you were a guest. Pure gaslighting. The fact that the food was overpriced and subpar is fine, but silencing them because you can't guarantee the quality is overkill. I think it's dangerous for society.

Update on Jul 2025: 11 months after my review, Amon tried to remove my review and I had to submit my receipts to Google to have it reinstated. Goes to show their attitude on wanting to hide criticism, instead of learning from it as feedback, to prevent it from happening again. Original: The food is okay (the entree was actually quite good and promising for the rest of the meal), though mediocre for the price. The space is nice in the front section but they were packed, so we had to sit in a small room in the back that had a worse atmosphere. The worst part of the experience was the service, as I'd ordered gnocchi and, instead, they brought out the dish, but using orecchiette (a pasta variant, not gnocchi). When we asked the waiter about it, we were told "This is the real gnocchi and how they do it Italy". This was obviously a lie, because, first, no it wasn't, it obviously wasn't gnocchi, and two, the dish presented didn't even match the pictures on the website (which did look like gnocchi, so clearly they know what gnocchi actually is). So, either there was some mixup or they'd run out of gnocchi, but the instinct to just lie when confronted with it was shocking. Would not recommend it at all.

The restaurant is very centrally located in the heart of East Berlin, near Unter den Linden. The food and service were very good, but the portions were quite modest. In my opinion, the value for money isn't right.

We arrived by chance... a heavy rain forced us in. We never thought we'd enjoy one of the best carbonaras we've ever eaten. A special mention for the staff: all the waiters treated us wonderfully, and one of them, seeing that we were going to be hit by the rain as we left, offered us an umbrella with no guarantee that it would be returned. A beautiful gesture of humanity. We returned two days later, and we were right: it's an excellent place to enjoy Tana food.

Absolutely loved this place! The Caprese is a must super fresh burrata and with pistachio, it’s the kind of starter that sets the tone for a great meal. The pasta was also excellent, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and authentic Italian taste. Will definitely be coming back!

The food at Amon was delicious. We sat outside and ate a cabonara. The portion looked smaller than usual, but it was just right! Super tasty and well-seasoned! The tiramisu was also delicious.

🍝 Carbonara – creamy, cheesy, simply delicious! This carbonara was amazing! The sauce was beautifully creamy, with just the right amount of cheese and egg – not a creamy sin, but truly original. The pasta was al dente, just as it should be, and the bacon… wow, nice and thick, slightly smoky, and incredibly spicy. A pinch of fresh pepper on top – and pasta heaven is complete. Honestly, I could have easily finished another plate! 😋🇮🇹 🦐 Prawns – crispy, juicy, and a little taste holiday The prawns weren't just a visual stunner – they tasted amazing! Beautifully seared on the outside, buttery tender on the inside. Served with a creamy green puree (avocado? Peas? Doesn't matter, as long as it's delicious!) and roasted tomatoes that deliver a real umami flavor. A touch of chili on top added a little kick—like a short trip to the Mediterranean. 🌊🦐☀️

The menu is very straightforward, as is the amount of food on each plate. Pasta dishes start at €20, which is quite a pricey price tag. The taste, however, is good to very good.

Finally, an Italian restaurant without pizza... 😉😎 Specializing in pasta! The coffee, tiramisu, and panna cotta are all very good. The staff is friendly and humorous!

Amazing italian food in the heart of downtown Berlin! Meat and cheese platter to start; Carbonara and pasta Americana as our main dishes followed with Tiramasu for dessert and everything was delicious! Only small issue was the service as the server didn't stop back at our table for a really long time after taking our empty plates even though our drinks were empty and we were waiting to order dessert. Overall, would absolutely recommend!!!

The food was good, but portion is rather small, and pasta was over salted. It is not okay to bring 1 litre of tap water and charge €8 for that not saying about it in advance. That’s insane.

Serviceminded staff that seemed to really like their job and show their enthusiasm and knowledge. Recommended a specific sharable starter which was amazingly good (Caponata). Wine was good and the meat/steak for main course was really tender. Only thing that would make it even better would be some more garnish and/or sauce.

Visited Amon three nights in a row and had a Japanese colleague take his customers from Osaka as well. The food is amazing! Their take on all of their menu was over the top!!! Every dish ordered by my large groups was super. Highlights were caprese, truffle pasta, melanzane Parmesan and the wines. Great service and team! Make a reservation and enjoy the restaurant. This place is an absolute winner.

A little gem of a place. Food was absolutely delicious and the wine was just as good. Our server Phillip was very helpful when choosing wine to go with our meal and was very attentive. The atmosphere is very chilled, nothing is a problem to the lads serving. We will definitely be back.

The staff were really friendly and attentive, even with the baby, which we really appreciated. The cuisine offers authentic flavours, the true ones of the Italian tradition. An experience to repeat. Splendid service coupled with delicious Italian cuisine.

Absolutely amazing. We asked for a wine recommendation, and instead of just giving us a name, asked what meals we planned to eat and what we liked/disliked in a wine. He paired us perfectly (and we went online to a shop to order a few cases to be shipped to our house). We ordered the special appetizer for the day, which was a roast beef with red pickled onion and potato salad. Delicious. For mains, I had the Manzo (beef fillet with potato pancake and a rosemary oil). O.M.G. Partner had the Carbonara: homemade noodles which were a perfect texture. Desserts, espresso. All in all, it was a perfect evening and we couldn’t be happier.
