Amon is a lovely spot with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is short, but you can taste the talent behind each dish (the seasonal chestnut soup was brilliant). And the bill is very reasonable. Little Italy in the heart of Mitte!

We were absolutely delighted with AMON Restaurant. The service was exceptionally attentive, with staff always taking the time for a brief, pleasant chat without being intrusive. The sophisticated menu, featuring a fine selection of Italian specialties, deserves special mention. The dishes were lovingly prepared, perfectly balanced in flavor, and of high quality. The wine recommendations were also a perfect match for the food, harmoniously rounding off the entire dining experience. A restaurant where you feel welcome and that offers top-notch enjoyment – ​​we highly recommend it!

The restaurant is upscale and the food is delicious. The staff's service is excellent; they explained to us what food is suitable for Muslims. The prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of food. We ordered interviews and two types of pasta, and the bill was approximately 250 dirhams. The restaurant requires a reservation.

High-quality, authentic Italian food, absolutely delicious, very friendly waiters and unobtrusively attentive service, good portion sizes. Tip: try the "Quasi Caprese" as a starter – such wonderful flavors! Not inexpensive, but the quality is worth it.

The service was great, the restaurant is clean and tidy and the food is excellent. The menu changes every three to four months, so be aware of that. The food however, tastes amazing and is worth the price. It’s not expensive, it’s reasonable and worth it for the delicious food you get. The portions are perfect, too.

€8 for tap water? Really? Even filtered, that's outrageous. And when I asked, they didn't even have bottled water. The food was good, though not excellent. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The music was a bit too loud in an already fairly noisy atmosphere.

Wow, wow, wow — what an experience! We were five people, and we couldn’t stop enjoying every single dish. The food at AMON Restaurant in Berlin was absolutely incredible, full of authentic Italian flavors and prepared with real passion. The service was exceptional as well, making us feel as if we were dining in a Michelin-star restaurant. Truly outstanding and highly recommended.

(Disclaimer/ I cannot comment on the food and to be fair the setting of the restaurant atmosphere etc looked ok.) I had made a reservation to Amon but booked the wrong day - it was totally my mistake and I don’t deny it. But I had a business guest with me and it was just the 2 of us at a 8.30 pm on a weekday. The manager/ host made 0 effort to accommodate - even though there were bar seating available and another table at the back. Now he didn’t have an obligation to go the extra mile but I was embarrassed in front of my guest and I would’ve been so grateful if he had come to my rescue. It’s these little things that make a difference. I get a lot of business guests and had been looking for a new go-to restaurant in the neighbourhood and now instead of Amon it will be the other equally highly rated Italian restaurant around the corner.

I had 3 days in Berlin and I came here for 2 lunches on 2 separate days (it was raining heavily and it was 1 degree celsius) even though my hotel is not near. That is all you need to know about this place (: you have to try the fettuccine and a bottle of whatever wine they recommend.

There were three of us at this very nice, centrally located restaurant. We received a friendly and courteous welcome, and the service was extremely attentive. The menu isn't very extensive, but there was something for everyone. For starters, we had cream of pumpkin soup with a small, not particularly soft bread roll. The soup was unfortunately unspectacular in taste, but otherwise fine. For main courses, we ordered pasta dishes (Norma Sicilia, Carbonara Latio, and Buscaiola). Everything was very nicely presented, and the chef explained the dishes. The portions weren't large, but they were sufficient. Taste is always subjective, but just as with the soup, we were neither disappointed nor delighted. The dishes, along with a Coke, a bottle of water, and a glass of white wine, resulted in a bill of €110.

Super good service. Our young waiter took care of us throughout the evening. The food tasted really good and was fresh with good ingredients from Italy. Definitely recommended!

Excellent restaurant, pleasant atmosphere reminiscent of Italian stereotypes. As Italians accustomed to our excellent cuisine, we are usually disappointed when we go to eat Italian food, but this was an excellent choice: Italian chef, excellent food, and very kind staff!

A small but fine and very select menu with daily specials and real Italian no-gos; for example, you won't get parmesan with spaghetti and oysters here.

Nice place unfortunately my carbonara was overloaded with pepper and unpleasant. The wine was great and starter delicious but please do not put so much pepper in the main course and let your guest choose the seasoning.

The food was okay: the truffle pasta lacked sauce and finesse, and it wasn't really warm. The caponata was okay in terms of both taste and appearance, as was the shrimp pasta. We enjoyed the wine. The service was friendly and engaging, but they had to serve many tables at once, so it took a long time.

Came 2 nights before and unfortunately the restraurantwas full. Came back this night and the host remembered me. Everyone in the front of house was very welcoming and kind. Food and atmosphere were great!

My Fiance had an amazing time at Amon restaurant! our waiter Pedro, was super kind, friendly, and chatty, he made us feel very comfortable the minute we walked inside the restaurant. He recommended the risotto and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. We had the tiramisu and it was perfectly balanced, rich but not overwhelming, and the cappuccino along with the tiramisu was the perfect finish to the meal. The restaurant had a cozy, homey vibe with family photos on the walls that made it feel like we were dining in an Italian family’s home. The food was incredible, and Pedro made sure we were well taken care of, never letting our water glass go empty. It’s crazy to say, but this Italian restaurant felt more authentic than any we tried in Venice when we were there in 2023, hands down the best Italian food experience we’ve had, and it was in Berlin! I highly recommend! 10/10.

Randomly walking by this restaurant me and my fiancée decided to try an Italian restaurant it’s was our greatest decision such an amazing food and experience it’s was for real the greatest carbonara I ever had in my life and our waiter Pedro was so friendly everything there was amazing very recommended restaurant!!!

Wow, wow, wow — this is authentic Italian food, absolutely delicious! And Angelo is an amazing person — he explains everything patiently with a smile. When he serves the dishes, he even gives helpful tips, like mixing the cheese properly to enjoy the pasta at its best. The owner is truly lucky to have him!

I’ve tried Pasta all over the world and all over Italy. I can say that the pasta here, especially the carbonara, is really top notch. Fresh pasta, amazing taste. Like in Italy. I’d say best Carbonara in Berlin for sure. Love it! Waiters are kind and knowledgeable. I have two improvement suggestions for the menu: - Add a Ragu alla Bolognese dish to the menu. The chef is from Bologna - I’m sure it would be amazing. - Offer a real Tiramisu. The one you have now is nice, but it’s actually mostly Mascarpone with chocolate on top. A real delicious tiramisu would be great! Keep it up 🥳🇮🇹🍝

We had the pleasure of being served by Philip. He is an absolute delight. Great advice and attentive service. My plate was amazing I took the soup of the day and the plate of the day upon our server's advice. The only reson for the 2 stars on food and 4 on service is my gf asked for parmesan right away and was asked to taste it before. Food is amazing but this is a high end Italian restaurant period. We had to ask to change my God's plate and it came out way too salty. Pastas are going to be aldente. This is how they make it. Great place great service just know what you're getting into. I loved my plate my gf who chose the place, not so much.

Ambience: When I arrived, I felt a bit underdressed in casual clothes, but that's deceptive. Service: The service was friendly and very humorous, without seeming less than professional. They gave us time to chat without making us wait too long for our food. Food: Starter Small breads, warm and crispy. The soup of the day was a delicious sweet potato soup with a bit of guanciale. In a vegetarian version, the soup might have been a bit bland. Food: Main Course We had the various pasta dishes, and in one word, fantastic.

Such a cute place! Found this place by accident when i was scrolling through google maps and i did not regret coming in. Ambience was totally cozy and it felt like your small, cozy neighborhood restaurant. Really enjoyed every single menu i ordered. The service was on point and i felt really taken care of. Tried a new type of pasta here too called Bigoli, the waitress was able to explain to me in detail what Bigoli is. Loved how unique the texture was. Also +++ points for the olive oil that they served me. Amazing. I had never really tried a high quality olive oil until just now. Super love ❤️❤️

Truly an exceptional and excellent experience! I have been eating spaghetti’s all over the globe and I can comfortably say that it is truly the place that has the best carbonara spaghetti. The food is astonishing and the environment is truthfully joyful and the toilet are extremely clean. The Parmigiana was the driest I've ever had. And I have had many. The skrei was totally without salt and taste, and I come from Norway where it's made. Kind and attentive service on a charming location. But the food was not good enough, I'm sorry

I rarely write reviews, but the Pasta Norma was by far the best pasta I've ever eaten. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The already high Google rating attracted me, but I hadn't done any further research, so we just walked in. We received extremely friendly service, and then the delicious food was presented. It was a great location for a family meal!

Be careful! If you write bad reviews, you'll be sued by the restaurant. *Corrected: not sued, but a complaint via Google. Your review will be deemed libelous and will be blocked from being read.* I don't think it's right that you can only praise the restaurant. The food was so-so, the waiter a bit condescending. There are definitely better Italian restaurants in Berlin. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself is beautiful. Edited: Yes, I find it funny too. The uncertainty of a restaurant... Judging by the other reviews, the restaurant is trying to force guests to have their bad reviews removed. That's pure bullying. You have to prove you were a guest. Pure gaslighting. The fact that the food was overpriced and subpar is fine, but silencing them because you can't guarantee the quality is overkill. I think it's dangerous for society.

Update on Jul 2025: 11 months after my review, Amon tried to remove my review and I had to submit my receipts to Google to have it reinstated. Goes to show their attitude on wanting to hide criticism, instead of learning from it as feedback, to prevent it from happening again. Original: The food is okay (the entree was actually quite good and promising for the rest of the meal), though mediocre for the price. The space is nice in the front section but they were packed, so we had to sit in a small room in the back that had a worse atmosphere. The worst part of the experience was the service, as I'd ordered gnocchi and, instead, they brought out the dish, but using orecchiette (a pasta variant, not gnocchi). When we asked the waiter about it, we were told "This is the real gnocchi and how they do it Italy". This was obviously a lie, because, first, no it wasn't, it obviously wasn't gnocchi, and two, the dish presented didn't even match the pictures on the website (which did look like gnocchi, so clearly they know what gnocchi actually is). So, either there was some mixup or they'd run out of gnocchi, but the instinct to just lie when confronted with it was shocking. Would not recommend it at all.

The restaurant is very centrally located in the heart of East Berlin, near Unter den Linden. The food and service were very good, but the portions were quite modest. In my opinion, the value for money isn't right.

We arrived by chance... a heavy rain forced us in. We never thought we'd enjoy one of the best carbonaras we've ever eaten. A special mention for the staff: all the waiters treated us wonderfully, and one of them, seeing that we were going to be hit by the rain as we left, offered us an umbrella with no guarantee that it would be returned. A beautiful gesture of humanity. We returned two days later, and we were right: it's an excellent place to enjoy Tana food.

Absolutely loved this place! The Caprese is a must super fresh burrata and with pistachio, it’s the kind of starter that sets the tone for a great meal.
