Everything was fantastic, the food, the hospitality, the atmosphere.

We were absolutely thrilled! Both the qori juice and the chicha morada were a taste sensation – fresh, perfectly balanced, and simply exceptional. The corn-fed chicken was tender, juicy, and wonderfully aromatic, accompanied by finely balanced side dishes. The "arroz con mariscos" was a poem – rich in fresh seafood, perfectly seasoned, and harmoniously balanced. The service and atmosphere rounded out the experience – attentive, friendly, and authentic. A culinary excursion to Peru that we highly recommend!

I traveled from Sweden and visited several Latin restaurants in Germany, but none compare to La Choza de la Anaconda. A hidden gem! The food is a 10/10, flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The service is impeccable, with warm and professional attention from the moment you walk in until you leave. The prices are fair and the quality is extremely high. Highly recommended, I will definitely return. Thank you for such a great experience!

I was very disappointed with the Lomo Saltado. I've been to Peru, to other Peruvian restaurants, and to many Peruvian festivals, and it was tastier everywhere. The meat was very blandly fried, served with potato wedges (a no-go with Lomo Saltado, according to a good friend from Peru) and thin, flavorless rice. The Pisco Sour was good, but the overall impression wasn't good, and it was far too expensive (almost €110 for two people). The free shot of liquor at the end is nice, but they should cook the way Peruvians cook for their families and friends.

We had a truly lovely evening on the restaurant's outdoor terrace. The ceviche was one of the best I've ever eaten—the flavors were perfectly balanced. The presentation of the food was also more than perfect. The friendliness and attentiveness of the service is particularly noteworthy. I will definitely come back and try more dishes.

We visited the restaurant once before in October 2024 and were thrilled with the food and service, so we visited again in June, unfortunately with some criticisms of the service, drinks, and food. Regarding the drink, my wife ordered a homemade lemonade (€6), but she got almost half a glass filled with ice and lime and a little lemonade. The lemonade tasted good, but the contents didn't reflect the price. The food wasn't cooked and presented with as much love and attention as last year. The appetizers in particular didn't represent the value for money, even though they were tasty. For this price, the plates could and should be presented a little more attractively; eating is a feast for the eyes. Furthermore, the chicharones had more fat than meat. The main course, fettuccine and ceviche, were very tasty; there was nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, I have to say that the service was very poor this time. The restaurant had just opened and it wasn't busy yet, but after sitting down we still had to wait for the menus. After eating our empty plates sat with us for a long time and weren't cleared away. After that we weren't really looked after either, and when I wanted to pay by card, the card reader was simply placed on the table and I was then left to pay myself. I've never experienced anything like that before. I paid after having to see how the card worked. After waiting a few minutes because no one came, we got up, handed the card reader over to the waiter and said our goodbyes. For a restaurant in this price category (we paid €87 for this evening), we expect significantly better service. We often felt lost and not really being served, as if we were more of a burden than guests who wanted to have a pleasant evening. We wish you continued success with the restaurant and would be pleased if you would accept this review and work on the points of criticism.

A true piece of Peru in the heart of Berlin! We had the appetizer platter for two – perfect for immersing ourselves in Peruvian cuisine. It takes you from the coast to the Andes to the jungle, lovingly explained and perfectly matched. At 30°C, it was just right: light, fresh, and aromatic. With a ceviche and a glass of chicha morada – you probably won't get any closer to Peru in Berlin. The spiciness is adjusted to your liking, and the service is at the level of a top-class restaurant: attentive, warm, and competent. The location on a quiet side street is relaxed, with plenty of parking and comfortable tables facing the street. There's also a terrace in the courtyard, and the ambiance inside is stylish and upscale. We'll definitely be back!

Neat environment and professional service. As for the food I can't say the same as I was definitely disappointed.

The dishes are good but the portions are too small for the prices. Despite the good service I would not go back. There are other Peruvian restaurants that are just as good and cost 20% less.

The food was exceptionally fresh and of the highest quality. I had the fish – super delicious, aromatic, and wonderfully tender. The other dishes were also excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive, and you immediately felt at home. Add to that the stylish and cozy interior – an all-around fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!

Stopped by for dinner with my partner. A good restaurant in a posh area. Above averagely priced. Prices for a main dish start at approx. 30 euros. Good value for money. We had one appetiser and one main dish each and were 80% full afterwards. Sadly, I am allergic to pork, so I could not try half of their menu. (Our server - a lovely lady - barely spoke any English, so I did not ask if it was possible to leave out the pork and/or swap it with something else. I also did not ask because I did not want to offend the chef.) The dishes I could try were very tasty. I had the Cerviche and Parihuela. Both were very flavourful. We ordered 4 different dishes in total and each dish was beautifully plated. (*The following is not a reflection on their food and service* I used their bathroom twice and both times the toilet seat was wet. In addition, the handsoap dispenser did not work well. The second time, they had run out of handsoap.)

We tried Peruvian food for the first time. Whether it was ceviche or chorizo, it was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The cocktails were very tasty. The service was a bit inattentive, but friendly. We'll be back.

On May 24, 2025, two of us went out to eat. For around 90 euros, we had an appetizer platter, two drinks, an appetizer, and a main course. The appetizer platter, which was labeled as a two-person platter, was too small for us. Particularly disappointing was the anticucho, a Peruvian national dish, of which only two small pieces were served. For the price of approximately 37.90 euros, we felt the quantity-price ratio was inadequate. My wife's main course, a rice dish, was mushy and noticeably oversalted. The seafood in it was adequate, but the strong salty taste made the dish inedible. My main course was chicken with mashed potatoes in a sauce reminiscent of hollandaise with mustard. The dish was served cold, which was not advertised. The mashed potatoes were okay. During the meal, I told the waiter that the anticucho wasn't good; it was tough, and I've had better. There was no response to my feedback. I also said I didn't like the rice dish, but received no response. At the end, the waiter offered us a shot of liquor, which we declined because we don't drink alcohol. Instead, we were offered dessert, which we also declined because it looked unappealing. Overall, the dessert seemed more like an attempt to compensate for the negative impression, which wasn't an appropriate solution for us. The service was friendly, but at times inattentive. Overall, the food didn't meet our expectations, especially considering the price. We've visited many Peruvian restaurants, and this was unfortunately our most disappointing experience. Addendum May 27, 2025: I would like to thank the owner for the detailed and respectful feedback. It shows that criticism is taken seriously. Nevertheless, my impression of the visit remains unchanged, and I hope that other guests have a better experience in the future.

I recently had the privilege of visiting La Choza de la Anaconda in Berlin, and I can highly recommend this gem! From the moment I first saw it, I knew it was going to be something special, and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was a treat for the taste buds, packed with authentic flavours and beautifully presented. It is clear that the kitchen places great emphasis on both the ingredients and the preparation. But what really made La Choza de la Anaconda stand out was the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and genuinely concerned that our experience would be perfect. From the moment we walked in the door until we left the restaurant, we felt incredibly well looked after. Their dedication and professionalism contributed immensely to an unforgettable evening. If you are looking for a restaurant in Berlin that delivers outstanding food combined with world-class service, then La Choza de la Anaconda is a must.

I ate Juane – a typical dish from the Peruvian rainforest – and loved it! As a Peruvian, I can say: the taste was authentic, just like in Peru. The Arroz Chaufa Amazónico was also delicious. Highly recommended. 😋😋

A bit too expensive compared to other Peruvians. Ceviche was great. The appetizer platter for two people was tasty but really not much for the price. Nothing to fill you up, but if you're in the area you're welcome to try it out. More like selva (jungle) cuisine.

I love ceviche and it's really good here! Perfect acidity, pleasant spiciness and a decent portion. Octopus with its delicate taste and crunchy vegetables is also great. Clear recommendation and we will be back!

Great ceviche and pulpo, definitely again

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant - not because of the food, but because of the inconsiderate outdoor lighting in the courtyard. Despite repeated instructions, the bright lights in the courtyard are not dimmed or switched off even after 10 p.m. This is extremely disturbing for residents because it shines directly into the bedrooms and makes it difficult to get a restful sleep. It's a shame that so little consideration is given to the neighborhood here. In addition, loud laughter can always be heard in the yard after 10 hours. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS. Next time all you have left is the public order office, the Immission Control Act!

Today we spontaneously decided on the very attractive restaurant and were very satisfied with the dishes recommended by the service, both visually and taste-wise. A good decision! We will definitely and very happily come back.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time and we ate Peruvian for the first time. We initially ordered the following starter for ourselves: tuna strips in Aji Amarillo cream with pink pepper, with sweet potato and corn. Afterwards we ordered the following: Lomo Salrado (Sauteed Argentine beef strips, tomatoes, onions, coriander in a soy sauce, potato wedges and rice) and Parihuela Mixta en Filete (Peruvian seafood stew with red snapper fillet, Aji Amarillo, Aji Panca, cassava). Everything was excellent and it tasted great. The quality of the food was excellent! We will be very happy to visit this restaurant again. - Two things weren't so good! I reserved online. I received two (!) reservation confirmations. But just to be on the safe side, I asked again by phone. I was informed that there was no reservation!! Recommendation: MUST BOOK BY TELEPHONE!!! I also telephoned to say that my wife and I would be celebrating our wedding anniversary there. Unfortunately there was no reaction from the waitress and no congratulations either...we were expecting something different!

This place is a 100/10! There is a changing menu every weekend and in my opinion the best braised pork is served here (see picture!) The seafood rice pan is also indescribably good! Simply recommended!

La choza de la anaconda (The Anaconda's Hut) is a very stylish Peruvian restaurant with beautiful decoration. The toilets are chic and elegant. Bird calls from the jungle can be heard here Dedicated and friendly service. Good food, pisco sour, ceviche, tiradito de atún, arroz con pato, parihuela mixta, mus de lucuma, everything tasted good.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nice music and green plants. At the entrance there is a beautiful Indian figure to welcome you

We went there to celebrate my friend passing the Facharzt exam and we had a lovely time thanks to the super friendly staff and the awesome food. Food was served super fast, tasted ultra delicious and presentation was super premium! We lost track of time and stayed past their closing time, but the staff did not urge us to leave or nudge us, they were super hospitable and let us stay as long as we wanted. 100% recommend and will definitely go again!

The worst ceviche in Berlin and nothing seemed Peruvian, nothing.

There are better Peruvian restaurants in Berlin. Starters were good, as was ceviche, but a main course with pork belly and potatoes was tough and barely warm.

We tried Peruvian cuisine for the first time and had a very good Valentines menu. All the dishes tasted delicious and were really something special. A great taste experience, great service and great ambience. The evening couldn't have been better.

A stylish shop with a pleasant atmosphere, even if it is perhaps not what you would imagine a Peruvian restaurant to be. The menu is varied and the individual dishes are well explained even for those who are not familiar with Peruvian cuisine. The Causa starter was very tasty and refreshing. The Lomo Saltado was buttery, perfectly medium and the sauce was to die for. The Juane de Pollo de Maiz was also delicious, the chicken fell off the bone and the rice was seasoned perfectly. We had actually planned on having dessert, but the main courses were so filling that we decided against it. We found all the dishes extremely tasty and the beers (Kinoa and Cuzqueno Lager) were also great. The Qori juice was also good and a taste we've never had before. The service was very friendly and attentive and didn't hold my poor Spanish skills against me. The only negative things are the rather high prices (which we think are appropriate considering the quality and quantity) and the very long waiting time for the main course. All in all, we were thrilled and will definitely come back. Full recommendation!

Service is very friendly and always smiling, it is a pleasure eating at the restaurant. The food cooking could see few small improvements. I had a tuna tartar which was too much cooked, symptom that it had been made too much time before ordering it. But the tuna quality was still very good for Berlin. The rest was tasty. Prices are also average, I was even expecting to pay more. I enjoyed the dinner. The quantities of food were also quite abundant.

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to visit your restaurant yet. However, I find the approach at the Green Week of offering visitors drinks on a tray without asking and then asking them to pay without making it clear beforehand to be less transparent and not customer-friendly. A more transparent and open approach might have motivated me to give the food a try. However, under the circumstances, I refrain from visiting your restaurant.

The food was absolutely mouthwatering! We had the “Piqueo Vegetariano,” the “Arroz Chaufa Amazónico,” and the “Tacacho con Cecina y Chorizo”—all of which were incredible. 100 points! This was our fourth visit, and we highly recommend this place. A special shoutout to Nayeli and Juana, our amazing hostesses that night. They truly made our experience unforgettable!

Very nice restaurant with original Peruvian cuisine. It was tasty, but unfortunately a point deducted in direct comparison with other Peruvian restaurants. It could be a little more elegantly decorated and a little more emphasis should be placed on the appearance. The wild boar was like German goulash with mashed potatoes, it was tasty but unfortunately nothing special. The ceviche was exquisite, the lomo too. Would come again again

Interesting restaurant, some strange dishes, overall nothing special. The cocktails were normal, with some ingredients from Peru, but somehow overpriced. Normal equipment.

Great to see Peruvian restaurants bringing one of the worlds most exciting cuisines to Berlin. The food is good and close to authentic. However, there it’s difficult to offer beautifully served authentic Peruvian in Berlin. La Choza faces this challenge as well. Still, worth to try if you want to try one of the few Peruvian places in Berlin.

The atmosphere in la Choza de Anacona is very modern, elegant, cozy and welcoming. The dishes are beautifully presented and you can taste the excellent quality of the ingredients. Don't miss passion fruit sour, cebiche and the coconut cream with passion fruit! The service is very professional, friendly and very accommodating. I would love to come back!
