Best restaurant in the Schillerkiez for everyone who appreciates gourmet cuisine and atmosphere!

Nice little place. We were thrilled with the food and the team.

The food and service were really great until we were chased away from our table after 1 1/2 hours with a “We need the table” without any warning. The table was even re-set while we were still sitting there and hadn't even paid yet. That was really a disgrace. As nice as the evening was, it ended with this very rude experience when you realize how much money we left in this restaurant.

We were a group of 8 people for my birthday. Every dish across the board was just sooooo delicious! It is possible to combine the menus with each other! In my opinion, this is important information :) and you can also eat every single dish a la carte. The service was super nice. We had a really great evening!

5 stars ONLY because of the bartender, who was very, very nice and he was very attentive, other staff didn't watch me when I called someone, and they don't speak German very well, but everything was still good, I've never had one like that drank a good cappuccino like this, bravo! 👍

We had a fantastic evening at Burro with excellent food and great service. We opted for the 3-course menu (55 euros) and got our money's worth. Incredibly tasty and filling. Plus really good cocktails and all at a very fair price. The comment from a couple at the next table says it all: "Alta, that's awesome" We'll be back!

It’s that time of the year to get together and book the “Bier, Boarden & Bouletten”-Trip and finish up the planning with some serious bookings. 😁 And what better occasion than that to get together for a nice meal. Burro offers a 4-course-meal for €55. But you can also order all the dishes from the menu a la carte. They offer vegetarian and fish / meat options for each course. My personal favorite was the pulpo dish but the blood sausage looked really good as well! 🤤👌🏼 A lovely and relaxed place to enjoy a lovely meal. 👍🏼

Had a lovely evening with very tasty food at Burro. We decided on the menu and were both absolutely thrilled with the dishes. I tried the black pudding and it was incredibly tasty. Roast beef on cauliflower also on deb point. The cheesecake and the rosemary ice cream were also included. Drink selection also very good. Price/performance is simply top. We'd love to come back.

In the middle of Neukölln. You have to like the area. The food as a 3 course menu was great. However, German wines didn't work at all. However, upon request there was still an Argentinian wine

It was an perfect experience : Service was super on point (maybe could be possible to describe the dish when bring to the table will bring the service on another level), our waitress was super kind and lovely. The food was perfect, we got a three course menu each and one starter and one dessert to share, we were full and happy. You can go there eyes close, the mood the food, the price is worth. Dining here was an experience for my taste buds, my stomach and my eyes. Each dish was delicious and served in a very pretty manner. The beef with shrimp was diving and the desserts were truly excellent. I'm very happy I had a chance to dine here.

Great atmosphere, delicious food

In the era of disappointing experiences, this is something that will positively surprise you 🤩

Unfortunately rather disappointing. I had the menu and it was mixed. The starter was delicious, something with edamame. The burrata was dry, tasteless and very rubbery, more like mozzarella that was a little too old. The prawns with strips of beef were tasty, but extremely salty and spicy, so after a few forkfuls it was too much for me. The dessert was boring. The drinks were 50/50, some good, some were extremely alcoholic and only tasted like the onion that was in there. The service was very slow, we had to ask several times for water and drinks, the bread was forgotten and only brought to the main course, etc. The employees were friendly, but very slow and sloppy. I wouldn't go there again.

4 course menu for two people - chose Land and Sea. The total cost included two cocktails, bottle of water, 2 glasses of wine, an espresso and tip. Excellent service.

Friendly, quite tasty, small enough portions. But don't worry about the taste. Therefore “slightly” too expensive for the prices. We waited about an hour between the 2nd and 3rd courses. Twice someone came and noticed that we were still waiting and they apologized. There would be a lot going on right now. Given the price range, I would expect that the apology would be underlined with a small drink on the house or that dessert would be offered for free. I've been there 3 times in the last 2 years. The first time actually “blown me away”. Yesterday we left 136 euros plus an 8 euro tip for 2 people. The wine was boring. The cocktail was good, but damn small for 12 euros. We didn't want dessert. We were full. Otherwise. I'll definitely go there again in a few months.

This place was recommended by the front office staff at Courtyard and it was amazing! Every course from the start to the end was fantastic and their ravioli (ordered as a additional main course) was to die for!

A small shop where you should definitely make a reservation. Extremely friendly and competent service. The food is very good and chic. The shop is more for people who enjoy food than for those who eat a lot Parking is almost impossible in the corner. Attention: this is not Mexican! 😉

Overall successful and good value for money! Food is available either from a menu or a la carte - but in principle it is flexible and you can always swap individual courses between veggie/meat. Service was also super friendly and every course tasted delicious - only the Madeltarte was too lemony for me 🥲but the dishes are very creative, beautiful to look at and perfectly seasoned :)

Love this place for its wonderful dishes at a friendly price. The quality is outstanding and the presentation surpasses expectations. The wine selection is again VFM and no fuss. The service is friendly not pushy or persuasive. You can’t fault the menu and preparation of dishes. It’s all soooo lovely. Thank you - we will be back for more soon!

Very tasty and beautifully presented food; friendly service and nice atmosphere. The ceviche is a dream! A little sweet potato and/or roasted corn might make it even more amazing. But really great! In my opinion, the rather sweet bread with the pulp and mussels doesn't go well, but that's certainly a very subjective feeling. In my opinion, the bread with butter is quite overpriced at €5 and should actually be included in the menu. But what I don't think is possible at all is that both dessert options contain alcohol, but it is only specified for one option (limoncello)! Luckily, when we talked to the waitress, we discovered that there was also alcohol in the sauce for the chocolate soufflé! Something like this must be indicated on the card. What about pregnant women, dry alcoholics, children? Looking at the description (chocolate souffle with fleur de sel, walnut, jalapeño), no one would guess that there could be alcohol in it! Please be sure to point it out on the map!

The food was visually beautiful and very appealing, but unfortunately the taste didn't live up to it for me. I also expected (refined) Mexican cuisine that loves the variety of intense flavors. My expectations were not met. The Magaritas were excellent with great mescal, the service was generally friendly, although a bit inattentive for this price range. In short: It is important not to expect Mexican food, the presentation/description was here for me Misleading.

Great 4-course menu and super nice service

My friend’s birthday dinner here was perfect!! The vibes are fun, the servers are SO nice (and were extremely helpful in explaining what menu items worked for my friend with complex dietary needs), the food was both beautiful and delicious (and served in quite large portions), and the drinks were great! Like I said, perfect.

Food good but not special. Somewhat mediocre. Service a bit absent. Too expensive for that.

From the beginning till the end a place of perfection, harmony, love and passion in everything they offer there. Its pure joy to see how Bar and Service have a permanent smile on there faces. Gently small talk, great knowledge of the menus and drinks makes it even more easy to try everything out. Take your time there. The cocktails are awesome and worth any cent. The prices are absolut normal for that type of service. So cry somewhere ells if you dont have some cash in tha pocket😴 With 25 years as a chef and hotel manager on my shoulders, i only can salut to the chef and his team. Pure creativity, love in every bite. A presentation, which is far beyond the regular 5* Hotels. The chef knows what he is doing and offers a absolute great selection of dishes and different flavours for all types. Thank so much, again for this wonderful evening. What a treat! We ordered the set menus, one veggie and one with fish / meat, and shared. To drink we had a cocktail and red wine. From A to Z everything brought to our table was delicious. That’s 8 different dishes! Not an easy task to pull off. Great job everyone at Burro Unchained! Can‘t wait to come back to what is now one of my top 3 restaurants in Berlin! 👏

Every dish was delicious! The wine choices were good! If you are hungry, definitely go for the 4 course meal, as the portions are quite small.

Five from five! Its a nice location, not too crowded but you still feel cozy. The service is on point, they are there when you need them, and have great eye for the detail. E.g. I was just mentioning on a side note, that I am not drinking alcohol, and the other waiter brought the shots already knowing me not drinking. Also, impressive how the three of us had the menu and happily mixed the options and she remembered everything just from listening. What about the food? Well let’s say they democratize fine dining. Much eye for the detail in every step, and smart creations. Some sort of buttermilk foam with ceviche giving subtle sourness all over the mouth without being too dominant. Then the pork belly which was just super tender and juicy with a peanut emulsion and some cabbage to neutralize. As a main I had the lamb shank, which came in an interesting interpretation of like pulled lamp in a giant croquette style. Very intense in flavor. And finally, the lava cake with some salty ice. Yet alone the cracker on top was proof of the artisanal approach they have here. Pardon me for not going into too many details as there are so simply to many – in the end it all adds up nicely! And all of this still affordable this is definitely a must go!

Great Mexican fusion restaurant with interesting decoration and polite staff. The dishes are mediums size so I would recommend two dishes per person. The cauliflower and octopus dishes were to die for. Will definitely come back

This place is just amazing! Very tasty and elegant fusion food with mexican flow, very helpful and friendly staff. The whole communication per e-mail about the preparation of our birthday event was smooth and open. I can't describe how happy I am! Hope to get back soon! 🌸 One thing is "good to know" for parents with small children: they don't have any "child food" such as fried fries and so on. But being open for experiments is worth it!

The food was delicious- we've had all 5 veggie dishes (starters and mains) and they were a 10/10. Amazing! Wine was good, alc-free drink (Panoma) not so much. Staff was good but one waitress acted a bit too "casual" and spilled every drink that she carelessly placed on the table. Nevertheless, will return for sure and loved it! P.s. some seating cushions would be perfection ;)

Wir haben zu fünft spontan einen Platz bekommen und waren unglaublich überrascht. Ohne Erwartungen haben wir alle unterschiedliche Gerichte gegessen. Es war sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich. Die Portionen waren nicht riesig, aber durch die Qualität seinen Preis wert. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit mexikanischer Musik, was das Ganze sehr authentisch gemacht hat. Ich komme definitiv wieder. XX

Crazy good and creative food and cocktails! A very enjoyable evening. The waiters unfortunately were not very attentive but we didn't miss anything.

Love the restaurant, the food, the drinks and staff. Have been there several times in the past year. The one thing that could be better is to return the surf n turf to its original size. I liked that I could rely on that dish to be slightly more fulfilling than the others but not anymore.

We felt it was somewhat overpriced for the area. Food was nicely presented but had expected more from the reviews. Service was slow, waiting over an hour for a starter - someone from the restaurant contacted to explain it was the first day back after a holiday so this might have explained it.

Superb gastronomic experience with bursting flavors and creative compositions. Great drinks and kind service as well. Just make sure to clearly specify if you have a nut allergy as different nuts are used throughout their menu even if not specified.

Ich war jetzt schon drei mal im Burro Unchained. Und kann es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Gerichte super abgeschmeckt. Frische und Qualität der Produkte stimmen. Portionsgrößen in Relation zum Preis völlig in Ordnung. Es gibt tolle Drinks auf der Karte. Der Espresso Martini schmeckt wirklich hervorragend. Der Service ist super freundlich. Das Restaurant ist vom Ambiente her wirklich toll gestaltet. Auf jeden Fall eine Bereicherung in der Gastroszene vom Schillerkiez.

Sehr gutes freundliches Personal, ansprechend angerichtete Teller , tolle Optik. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte sehr gut mit kleinen geschmacks explosionen und immer überraschend. Egal ob bei der Burata, dem Pulpo oder bei der Nachspeise. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder. Ein Geheimtipp und wir aus Hamburg kommend würden froh sein so was in unerer Stadt zu haben. So bleibt Berlin immer eine Reise wert. Weiter so !
