Impossible staff! Our waiter was drunk and we had to do everything ourselves! At first he didn't understand what we wanted and wanted us to put the order in ourselves (what?) and then when we were finished with the food, it was a bit too much for us, so we wanted to have it packed, for which they asked for money. This was forgotten and the can (which we had already paid for!) didn't arrive until we had to go to the checkout and pack the food OURSELVES! Also, another table's receipt was stuck in our food when the waiter brought it. Food was good, but way too expensive! I don't recommend it!

Good bye, Today I tried to eat and drink something at lunchtime in the “Alten Wirt”. Nowhere in Munich have I ever experienced such unfriendly and lazy waiters. You have to be able to afford waiters who would rather smoke than serve guests. Never again.

Review of the restaurant: I would have liked to eat there, unfortunately (as already described in other reviews) I encountered more of a beer hall or festival tent atmosphere. Loud, narrow, uncomfortable. Completely unsuitable for me and my guests to enjoy lunch (weekdays). In other reviews, the operator is happy about the full house - I can well imagine that, certainly an indication of good cuisine. We would have liked to try them, but we went out straight away and enjoyed our lunch at another restaurant nearby. Therefore, unfortunately: Absolutely no recommendation for guests who want to eat well.

We were just there, the food was really a dream, we were promised a lot but also incredibly excited. Markus definitely needs a raise! Rarely has I received such good advice.

We live in the Perlach area and passed this restaurant a lot, but recently we decided to go there. I really liked it, the food is delicious, the fresh beer is excellent (we prefer weissbier). The price of beer is 3.9 euros, and for example in the center of Munich 5.5-6 euros. I don’t see the need to go somewhere if you want to drink beer, especially when such a restaurant is within walking distance. As a bonus, there are no crowds of tourists. Let's come back again)

Bavarian, rustic, good! Yesterday with friends at white sausage breakfast. Wonderful sausages & good pretzels. What was most noticeable: the waitresses/waiters. Rarely! Saw such friendly, fast & attentive staff in Munich!! The Alte Wirt was completely full and there was a lot to do. Our waiter (from near Traunstein) was very attentive and very friendly, even though he ALSO served in the garden. We really enjoyed our stay, we didn't miss anything, the white sausage was very good, and of course the beer too 😋 I would definitely make a reservation. We thank you and will come back soon. We were there about 2 weeks ago, early in the evening for dinner! When we arrived we didn't really feel warmly welcomed as guests, but rather as "now there are some here again" - from the receptionist! Our waiter was actually very quick and friendly! We found the large inn to be very crowded and noisy! The small pub gives a more cozy impression! The food - SchnitzelTrilogie and roast pork - was okay, but nothing special! Not like we were used to at the tenant's other restaurant! Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars!

I don't know how Google came up with it, but the Alte Wirt is not a hotel. Very attentive and fast service, delicious Bavarian cuisine, fresh draft beer and, on top of that, unbeatably cheap. Reservation recommended.

The knuckle had probably been sitting for a while and was therefore dry and the skin was no longer crispy, which was a real shame!

Whether in the beer garden or in the guest room: beer and food are good!

I was in the restaurant with my family. On a Wednesday evening in January all tables were fully booked. Many people probably had a company party. The two rooms were filled with tables and chairs. There was no place to sit down comfortably. You couldn't hear your own voice or anyone else's through this crowd. We were served very nicely and very quickly and the food came very quickly too. It tasted good, but the old German cuisine without a bit of change is too boring and out of date for me. I don't recommend this restaurant to people who want to have a comfortable conversation or who don't have 100% hearing.

We were a large group after a funeral. The waiter was nice but overwhelmed. Food could have been better. Parking situation disaster

Great old Bavarian economy that has been around for a very, very long time. A new landlord has been running a great program for a few years. Especially in the morning, the various sausages for breakfast and white sausage breakfast offer a pleasant atmosphere. Nice conditions, great beer garden, I can totally recommend it!!!

Today we spontaneously went to the Altes Wirten and got a table, but I think I would make a reservation next time as it was quite busy. We ventured on the culinary schnitzel journey and I have to say, you get more than you expected. So we were able to try our way through all the schnitzels and the side dishes, there were fries, fried potatoes, potato-cucumber salad and cranberries, pepper sauce and cream mushrooms. There was so much that we couldn't eat it all on site, but luckily you can get bowls for a small extra charge and pack the rest. We would especially like to say thank you to the nice waitress, who really looked after us in a more than friendly manner and was very attentive. See you soon!

Normally I'm a fan of the economy, the draft beer is terrific and the food is reasonably priced. Performance appropriate. Today I was there again after a long time and ordered a pork knuckle. Unfortunately I have to say it was a failure. Visually it looked satisfactory, but there was only a minimalist dumpling and a lot of sauce. Conclusion: the knuckle had an almost too crisp crust and overall there was very little meat on it and above all it was too dry. Really a shame. Thank you for the answer, Mr. Kagermeier. So somehow you are insinuating to me that the Haxn was as it should be. Since I'm already at an age where I think I can judge this fairly, I would like to emphasize again that this was a hassle that probably no one would have been happy with. I also quickly told the waiter that the miniature version of a dumpling was a joke. The waiter didn't offer a solution on his own. He actually wanted to inform you personally, but according to the waiter, you weren't there yesterday.

After the same restaurateur had already established a great restaurant in the Dreimühlenviertel, there is now a comparable restaurant, the Alten Wirt, in the greater Rammersdorf/Giesing area. I've been there a few times and I'm thrilled again: great team, an atmosphere that you would expect in Munich (but doesn't find that often anymore) and extremely fair prices. Great recommendation!

Kind and simply sweet! Four of us were there for breakfast. First of all, diligent service, everyone was very friendly and helpful and on point. Fresh pretzels and the best whites from Munich. Not overcrowded with tourists. We'll be back for the schnitzel trip!

We only went to the restaurant and had a really good meal! The waitress was pretty grim (maybe he was having a bad day). What really bothered us was the mold right at the back left corner table. There's probably something leaking because all the windows were fogged up and wet. The mold should be removed quickly and cleaned up...

We were at a Christmas party with 40 people in the large room. Unfortunately there were about 120 people here. The tables are crowded and it is very loud. The waitresses are very hard-working, but constantly stressed. The rating of food and drinks needs to be improved. I was the last to pay from our club. There were no drinks on the bill, but there were two meals too many on the bill. The roast tasted very good and the portion was sufficient.

Bad (actually no) service when it's full. Tighter than in a pigsty, we reserved a table and were seated next to some other people out of necessity because there was nothing left available (all tables are for 8 people). The waitress says she'll be there soon, but it took 20 minutes. Never shit service again

We arrive without a reservation. It's packed. Ask if there is still space available for 2 people. Unbelievable Zack Zack 2 seats for us at a table where 2 people were already sitting. Very authentic German inn, and the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious! Amazing, friendly staff. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The public transport was easy to navigate from the inn to places like Marienplatz. Would highly recommend!

I regularly go to eat at the Alte Wirt with my wife. The food and white sausages are simply great... they just have to learn how to bake the pretzels. It doesn't have much to do with the typical crisp pretzels. But that's the only small downer Otherwise thumbs up

I always like to take friends or visitors to the Alten Wirt in Ramersdorf in typical Bavarian style: often at 9:00 for white sausages, from 12 for schnitzel or other Bavarian specialties. Conveniently located, you can always find a parking space. Everyone was thrilled by the friendly atmosphere and the top service: service was always as quick as the fire brigade and always friendly. All that remains to be said is that praise goes to the kitchen: that it always tastes good, without exception. I didn't know that you could stay there cheaply and well, but I would be happy to recommend it to friends from away ("Preißn") when I get the chance.

Went to eat goose in the Altes Wirt today. We specially made half a goose for us in advance. Great service and the food was great. The prices are really unbeatable for Munich. I would love to come back.

The service was super nice and we didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. We've been there several times and will be back! Very nice beer garden. It is divided into a self-service area and an area where you are served. It's very nice there and as usual you can also bring your own food in the self-service area. Drinks should be bought there, which I generally think is fine. We were in the service area and ate there. Portion is definitely not too small. Would love to come back

Friendly, hard-working service, cheap schnitzels on Monday

We had our Christmas party there yesterday. It was reserved but the tables were occupied the whole time we were there. At first we were told to wait. Then we were simply distributed to different tables. The volume and atmosphere like in a beer hall. The Petsonal totally overwhelmed. The soup was offered to our table three times because the waiter didn't even know that he had already brought it. The food wouldn't have been bad if it hadn't been lukewarm. The drinks were charged twice with different prices. We were also charged two more meals than we had. The landlord didn't even want to get clarified. We won't go there anymore. It's a shame that the Bavarian economy used to be really good.

Rustic cozy interior. Very nice and ambitious waiters and waitresses who know what they are doing and help each other. While I was still ordering and chatting a bit, the wheat beer was already on its way from the counter. The current white sausage offering for breakfast is also sensational. You will see me again.

We go to the old innkeeper regularly. Whether for a white sausage breakfast, dinner or the beer garden It's just so bad again and again. Mirjana served us today. And she was really great. Great service, fast, friendly…

Nice old place. The food was good, as was the beer. Despite stress and total overcrowding, the service was very friendly and competent. The introductory or manager, on the other hand, unfriendly and arrogant. Only 4 stars because the table we ordered was far too small and therefore far too narrow.

I really like going here because the wooden barrel and the offerings are just great. The conditions are also very nice and the beer prices are still okay. But today I had a visit with a very, very, very unfriendly waitress who made a fool of me and said everyone gets a beer where it's not full and whether I'm upset about it, really unfriendly. I can't describe words like that here - the woman's name was branda. She ruined my evening and I walk out of the restaurant angry.... It's a shame that at the end of the day... incredibly sad.

I've been excited for years. The waitresses are so friendly, but it's the first time in years that I've met Branda... I've never experienced anything so unfriendly, who gives you a dirty look even though she was friendly last time. The food was very tasty and arrived relatively quickly. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good that day (Sunday) because it was very, very busy and therefore probably very stressed. Our waitress was still very friendly, but we sat there for a long time with empty glasses and it took a long time until we got to pay. On the subject of location, I think it's just an inn. The first look was nice, we were happy that there was finally a great pub nearby, but...... The whole time we were watching what we were eating and drinking and talking stupid comments very loudly, I felt very uncomfortable and threatened, strange mood, the waiter was a disappointment, I have never had such bad service in my life never gave into my life. I rarely go out because I work a lot, but when I go out I would like to try out a lot of nice food, with a nice drink and one or two schnapps in between, what's the problem, but we weren't asked if everything was good or tastes, whether he wasn't under any stress, food; it was a huge portion but some of the side dishes were very bad, strange taste and smell, we told the waiter but he didn't react to it, He doesn't even apologize, he's right for something, but then maybe there won't be a complaint via the internet later. Great location and great beer garden! I was able to celebrate my 40th birthday with Florian and his team and everyone was absolutely thrilled! Great value for money, service, food and drinks!

Proprietary doesn't deserve a star at all ☹️ We had reserved a table for 5 people on Sunday 13. We were placed in the middle of a table with strangers around it. We weren't even sitting directly across from each other, so we couldn't communicate with each other. If your hut is full, you have to organize yourself differently. Too bad!!!!
