Unbeatable white sausage breakfast. It's now a must-have when I'm in Munich. 2 white sausages with sweet mustard and a pretzel for €2.95

New host - new wind. Food is very good. Service was very attentive and friendly even on busy days. The only thing missing from the beer garden is a small playground.

A typically Bavarian restaurant with a varied menu. Thank you for the good food and excellent service. We'll be back soon.

Friendly staff since the landlord changed. Nice beer garden with fresh Augustiner beer, sometimes on tap. The menu also used to have a few vegan dishes. Unfortunately, they no longer exist, which is a shame. Otherwise, I would eat here with friends every now and then.

We were here in a group of 15 people. We had initially made a reservation in the beer garden but had to reschedule at short notice due to the weather. No problem, the old host's team made it easy. We ate and drank very tasty. The dishes are all large and delicious. We can also only recommend the beer. Thank you for the lovely evening, we will be back.

It's quaint inside, since we were there spontaneously at lunchtime, it was extremely loud, but then it normalized after some groups had broken up... and the food tastes really good and is a nice big portion too. And not quite as expensive. All The waitresses are very polite and nice and were immediately given a bowl of water for our dog without asking. We'll definitely come back🤗

We made a reservation and they still wanted to sit us at a table where someone was already sitting. Then the orders were taken and delivered incorrectly and a meal was completely forgotten. If you could give minus stars it would be a -6

But you're not at MD's and you usually take your time when you go to the pub. Your food is always top in the price/performance comparison. The selection is also great. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, with a small child. After asking several times, it turned out that the court had already been in session for over an hour. is out. The mood was accordingly. Were in the self-service beer garden area. A fresh Augustiner is always good. The cold “delicacies” are delicious: pretzels, Obazda and Landjäger. Friendly counter conditions... What more could you need on a summery May day?

To me it seems as Bavarian as it can get. Except maybe for the surprisingly friendly service. The food is exactly as it's supposed to be, like it or not, and the Helles served is great. The best part is the atmosphere.

We were there for a birthday dinner. After the friendly waitress took our order, the food arrived after a short time, only a main course came about 20-30 minutes later, not ideal. Unfortunately, the birthday child's meatballs were significantly over-seasoned and didn't taste particularly good to anyone at the table. We complained about this to the waitress and she wanted to have a few fresh plants brought over. After a short while the manager came to our table and asked who had let the food go back. He then explained to the person concerned in a very unfriendly and tactless manner that he and a few others had tried the plants and that they were “okay”. He couldn't offer a new meal based on her subjective perception, but he would be happy to offer an espresso. Absolutely wrong. He was probably so upset that he spit several times, which was also extremely unpleasant. The friendly waitress then offered us a good word and said that the person concerned was welcome to choose something new to eat. Unfortunately, he had now lost all appetite. The operations manager came back shortly afterwards and showed incomprehension for the outrage at the table and said that those affected could choose something new and that he had come to us. Absolutely distorted perception at this point. Overall, it's a shame, the food was okay, the service was very nice and helpful, but the manager was tactless and unfriendly, which pretty much dampened the mood on a nice birthday evening. At least we didn't have to pay for the dish in the end, so thanks again to the very hard-working service!

We went there on a recommendation. Very generous portions, very good quality meat. The service is attentive but unobtrusive. The request is made as soon as the beer comes to an end, so that you immediately receive a fresh, cool light beer. I don't know that. I definitely recommend the inn.

I can only recommend it. Prices for Munich are really respectable. The food was delicious and the waiter, although stressed, was very, very friendly. I can highly recommend the Alten Wirt in Ramersdorf.

The food was good, the menu is only in German. The service is terrible and the lordship has no patience with tourists who don't understand German.

We just wanted to have a quick beer, but five waiters walked past us without serving us. And you would have thought it was full! No! Only after we asked did they promise to send someone - no one came for ten minutes. Finally the head waitress suggested changing seats. Simply ridiculous!

We cannot understand the negative reviews. The staff was very friendly and the food/drink was delicious.

So unfortunately it's very rare that you can give really good reviews these days, but here and today I'm happy to be able to give it a 5+ again. The roast pork here is really great and really cheap. On top of that, even if you work harder, you get really fed up! Think it's 12.95 or so and you've really stuffed yourself! That's how it has to be. The waitresses are also super friendly and casual! Thank you very much for this great hospitality over the last few days... it was always great!

Good food at reasonable prices for Munich

At first we were greeted a bit unfriendly by the usher because we arrived 15 minutes late (there were still a lot of tables available). The meal took a while, but the service was very friendly and the sausages were very tasty. Unbeatable price for Munich. Would definitely come again

Never again!! Unfriendly staff, drunk, rude waiter!! As soon as you walk in you don't feel welcome, you feel very uncomfortable. Too bad food is good!

Fantastic Bavarian cuisine. Great cook. 5 stars!!! Service: well, completely chaotic operating system. Fixed assigned tables. Placing an order with another waiter/ress - none. It's better to let guests go than to serve them. Flexibility: Could I have one more dumpling instead of the salad? Clear answer: NO - I cannot book into my system. Can I then order a dumpling extra? NO, can only book 2 dumplings into my system...... The entire service staff runs around the beer garden completely aimlessly, which is a real shame but still entertaining. BUT: the food is excellent and if you want entertainment you can always rely on the staff and the boss.

A top Augustinian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Here too, if it says Augustiner, it means quality. I was there for Munich breakfast. They were probably the tastiest white sausages I've ever eaten and at an unrivaled price. What I particularly found was that a few pretzels were also placed separately at the table. Here you can help yourself as you wish, if you then get lost in the enjoyment of the white sausage, and you can also take more pretzels if you like. Perfectly thought out. I really liked it... Yes, of course you have to pay for the separate pretzels separately. Everything was just right here. I look forward to my next visit!

One of the few Bavarian restaurants that still have affordable prices in Munich. That's probably why it's usually very crowded. The Augustiner is served here fresh from the barrel. The food is good and everyone gets full.

We ate here as a family on Saturday. Food was quick and good. BUT the waiter didn't work at all! He didn't want us our €10 change! Because he wanted to tip more, he only wanted to give us €5 back!!! We gave him more and that wasn't enough for him. The highlight was that he scolded us for it. That really ruined the whole actually nice trip for us... What a shame!

The Alte Wirt in Rammersdorf is simply a dream. If you want to feel the real Munich - with all its coziness, warmth and delicious food - you've come to the right place. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, you feel welcome from the first moment. The atmosphere is rustic and truly Bavarian, just makes you feel good. And the food? The madness! The roast pork is tender and spicy, the schnitzel is crispy to perfection, and the white sausage breakfast is an absolute classic that you have to experience here. In addition, there is a very fair price-performance ratio - quality at down-to-earth prices. A place where you like to linger - be it for a leisurely lunch, a morning pint or a relaxed evening with friends. Pure Munich, with everything that goes with it: good food, nice people and real hospitality.

1x and NEVER again!!! There were 7 of us at the table! 3 had already received their food, the rest had only been served. The last 2 people got their food when the first three were already finished!!! It doesn't work at all!!! Service not friendly! They didn't even ask if there was anything else to drink! After paying, we were still sitting in front of our empty dishes!! Nobody had to clear it away! But the absolute highlight was when the waitress asked for more tips! Even though we gave a tip despite the poor performance!! There are much better locations in Munich!

The service was very scheduled, didn't come to take the order for ages and when we finally ordered, the food didn't come but our drink didn't come. The drinks only came after we asked several times, and we had long since finished eating. But it has to be said that the prices are very cheap, which may only be possible due to savings in service.

Service: underground! Location: relatively nice and central Ambiance: everything is very tight, unfortunately you can no longer speak of Bavarian cosiness here. Rather, very crammed together to maximize sales. Unfortunately, it's extremely loud. Eating: I eat out at least 3 times every week, I've rarely eaten as badly as I did here. The meat was lukewarm and dry and tough, it wasn't fresh. Conclusion: if you don't value good food and don't mind the fact that you can hardly have a conversation and sit very cramped, then you're in good hands here. For everyone else, I recommend spending a little more. There are good other alternatives.

I sometimes go here on Saturdays from 10:30 to 12:30 – there are always lots of people (for groups, it's worth making a reservation), it's a bit noisy, but the staff is friendly, orders are brought quickly, and the food is delicious (inside, it's still cold outside).

Impossible staff! Our waiter was drunk and we had to do everything ourselves! At first he didn't understand what we wanted and wanted us to put the order in ourselves (what?) and then when we were finished with the food, it was a bit too much for us, so we wanted to have it packed, for which they asked for money. This was forgotten and the can (which we had already paid for!) didn't arrive until we had to go to the checkout and pack the food OURSELVES! Also, another table's receipt was stuck in our food when the waiter brought it. Food was good, but way too expensive! I don't recommend it!

Review of the restaurant: I would have liked to eat there, unfortunately (as already described in other reviews) I encountered more of a beer hall or festival tent atmosphere. Loud, narrow, uncomfortable. Completely unsuitable for me and my guests to enjoy lunch (weekdays). In other reviews, the operator is happy about the full house - I can well imagine that, certainly an indication of good cuisine. We would have liked to try them, but we went straight back out and enjoyed our lunch at another restaurant nearby. Therefore, unfortunately: Absolutely no recommendation for guests who want to eat well.

Very authentic German restaurant. One (if not the) best schnitzel in Munich. Highly recommend trying the kartoffelnsalat, it’s amazing! Alter Wirt is truly one of those “if you know you know” type of places. Been here multiple times and never had a bad experience here

The inn lives up to its name. It has the classic charm of Bavaria. Nevertheless, the prices are not picked up. Since I didn't stay overnight, I can't rate the rooms. Risk of repetition is certain. 👍

We were just there, the food was really a dream, we were promised a lot but also incredibly excited. Markus definitely needs a raise! Rarely has I received such good advice.

We live in the Perlach area and passed this restaurant a lot, but recently we decided to go there. I really liked it, the food is delicious, the fresh beer is excellent (we prefer weissbier). The price of beer is 3.9 euros, and for example in the center of Munich 5.5-6 euros. I don’t see the need to go somewhere if you want to drink beer, especially when such a restaurant is within walking distance. As a bonus, there are no crowds of tourists. Let's come back again)

Bavarian, rustic, good! Yesterday with friends at white sausage breakfast. Wonderful sausages & good pretzels. What was most noticeable: the waitresses/waiters. Rarely! Saw such friendly, fast & attentive staff in Munich!! The Alte Wirt was completely full and there was a lot to do. Our waiter (from near Traunstein) was very attentive and very friendly, even though he ALSO served in the garden. We really enjoyed our stay, we didn't miss anything, the white sausage was very good, and of course the beer too 😋 I would definitely make a reservation. We thank you and will come back soon. We were there about 2 weeks ago, early in the evening for dinner! When we arrived we didn't really feel warmly welcomed as guests, but rather as "now there are some here again" - from the receptionist! Our waiter was actually very quick and friendly! We found the large inn to be very crowded and noisy! The small pub gives a more cozy impression! The food - SchnitzelTrilogie and roast pork - was okay, but nothing special! Not like we were used to at the tenant's other restaurant! Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars!
