Alte Forno in Berlin

Both the pizzas and burgers are truly delicious. Everything is cooked to perfection. I think the kitchen team has changed—the current team is not only very talented but also incredibly friendly. Thank you for everything, I'll be back!

The store was empty around 2:30 a.m., but we still waited over 50 minutes. Communication was terrible, and the food also arrived extremely late.

This place is a complete disaster. The staff are very unfriendly. The food was so bad, it wasn't cooked through and it didn't taste good either. I'm a customer, and instead of someone coming up to me, or rather, coming towards me, a small, bearded, older man came up. He's the chef and he was very aggressive and tried to attack me. What kind of place is this? The boss should rethink everything he does with his staff. It's a real shame. I was so hungry, but the food really didn't taste good. It was terrible.

I got a completely wrong pizza. When I pointed this out, instead of making me a new one, they simply slapped something on top – like, "eat or die." The result: inedible. No apology, no concessions – but of course I still had to pay. Service and quality = 0. This was my first and definitely last visit!

I was not satisfied at all, they made terrible pasta, and they did not make it the way we wanted, what is this, we pay money to eat something decent and you cannot do that either 👎🏻 Can 3 pastas be put in a pricey pose? Your chef should see my comment.

Bought pasta with scampi and a lasagne there yesterday. My stomach is slowly feeling better, but last night the toilet was my best friend! Lasagna was very greasy and my partner didn't like the pasta with the scampi either. Too bad

Was there last time for the first and last time. There were 8 of us with a small child who thought that a children's menu would be the last thing to do. Yes, because 2 year olds also have more patience than adults, it makes sense. There was no service, I didn't eat my food, everything was a mess and the chicken was way too dry.

Self-service restaurant, mostly normal Italian dishes

Never eat shit again. Ready-made refrigerated pizza worse than from Penny. The dough felt soggy and dead. The side dish and cheese are industrially and chemically added. Even capitalbra pizza tastes better.

Very solid pasta with Bolognese. Nothing to complain about. My request for a spicier dish was also accommodated. Very nice and relatively quick. I'd be happy to return.

Pizza is actually just cheese, and someone forgot about the tomato sauce. A bit of a disgrace.

Worst “Alte Forno” branch in Berlin. Unfriendly, hectic, poor quality. The Chilli Chees Burger that they make in the Kreuzberg branch is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The same thing here in Reinickendorf is just lame and boring. Better go to Kreuzberg.

The worst restaurant ever was there recently and we ordered steak. I waited and waited for silverware. At some point I was fed up and went to the chef until I found out there wasn't one. They basically waited until another guest was ready and I could have the cutlery. Catastrophe then a guest was finished and the kitchen help gave me the wet cutlery, I thought I was crazy and complained then she washed it again and put it in a napkin. No apology nothing the chef is a disaster bored rude. The others had already had their food, that's why I stayed, otherwise I would have left. Never again

I ordered a chicken burger today. For €6.50 normal price. Then came the masterpiece!!!!!! Cooked time perfectly, slightly spicy but really well balanced. Everything is fine too Sozen!!! Wow The best chicken burger I've ever eaten!!! They don't sell alcohol and food is Helal! Thanks to the boss!!!!

I swear by everything whose schnitzel was like a nugget. I see 7.90 for the schnitzel menu, I thought it was cool. By God it was so tiny it was gone after a few small bites. At first they just give me a mini schnitzel on a mini plate. I say that can never be a menu then he gives me a small fries on top of it. That was the poorest food the boy could eat. How am I supposed to get enough of it? Am I a victim or something? I swear cornflakes at home are more filling than what I ate there for 7.90 euros. Never again in my entire life, even if it were the last food I eat, will I get this schnitzel. I'd rather eat chalk. The service was also completely unsympathetic and they had such a strange attitude when you criticized something about the food. I think I can get these schnitzels frozen in any Turkish market.

A great restaurant, very friendly staff. Price performance is top. Something went wrong when ordering, but was gallantly corrected. The four of us thought the restaurant was good and recommended. Worth knowing, note:... This pizzeria does not have red wine or other spirits. It's not Italian run.

Ordered 3 pizzas, all three were already cold and difficult to cut, one large pizza had so little topping that it had about 3cm around the edge. I didn't even try to eat a full 1/4 but it was unreasonable. The nice Turkish employee at the checkout showed insight but the young man at the oven became loud and claimed that he had eaten half of my pizza. At the end of the discussion I got a new small pizza because I tried the cold one🤦‍♀️. While I was eating I was observed strangely. Unfortunately, people here don't know how to deal with customers. End of song, paid for a large pizza, I got a small one with a lot of stress. It's been 6 hours now but it's still bothering me. I won't go again.

The food is tasteless and there is no respect

The food was bottomless. We had two pizzas, the Tonno, was completely tasteless and the tuna was spread on it like it was dog food. The chicken pizza only tasted like cooked chicken. I would give minus stars for the pizzas if it were possible

On the first day, the server said they had self-service, and they didn't really want to serve either when we talked English. I decided not to make a purchase. Two days later, I tried again, and this time there was a polite server. I ordered two pizzas, one of which was delicious, while the other was garbage.

Absolutely not recommended! Almost €12 for the worst pizza I've eaten! Dry dough that has a strange taste of its own. The topping - cheap. Unfortunately there are more and more of this chain... Was my first and last visit.

The restaurant looks very nice from the outside and inside. But it's more like a snack bar because you have to order everything yourself without cards and you have to pick it up from the front yourself. The variety of food is good, but there is no menu and the food wasn't convincing either. Unfortunately it was very unsatisfactory.

I ordered spaghetti with shrimp humma sauce and a large salami pizza. I told the person at the checkout that he should put the 1 portion of spaghetti with shrimps in 2 plates because the portion is large, that's what the old Bulgarian Turkish employee always did, but we got penne with shrimps and huma sauce unsalted and it didn't taste good Pizza was smaller than usual when I told the employee he didn't listen at all.

I ordered vegan Risotto but I received not a good food! I tried in different places risotto and always this rice tasted good but in this restaurant they used another rice, (I think it was Indian rice), which is soft and not tasty! But I don’t know why on menu they wrote “Risotto Vegataria “! I was not happy with the food!

The food isn't exactly bad, but I'm not convinced by the value for money. I go very sporadically when hunger convinces me to give Alte Forno another chance. So I've eaten various dishes here over the years, both on site and to take away, and none of them have convinced me. Pizza topped with the cheapest salami, fries (on site!) soggy and over-salted, halloumi in the burger fried for far too long and the bun was also dry, the pasta sauces were seasoned with Maggi. Fast food is also tastier. Or just cheaper. Unfortunately, yesterday the basket in which the fries were served was dirty. I was never treated unfriendly there, but I wasn't smiled at either.

Very tasty food. Tried Pizza vegetarian which was spicy. Also tried pasta which was delicious and creamy. If you have to take one thing, go for Penne pasta shown in my photo.

We've been here several times, everything we've tried so far has tasted great, so the pizza is great. The citizen is good although tk pettis but great value for money. Noodles were good too.

The food is good! The pizza was nice and thin and nice and crispy. The service is a little lazy. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in a waiting room.

quite crowded and noisy place with selfservice. stupid running around for defenitely not tasty italian fastfood. looks handmade, but i think the quality is not that good. my stomach hurts for the whole evening. the salad was brown, so i have to doubt the freshness at all. olive oil and bread was old. sorry, but these are basics. service was lousy and even the espresso just a trial. sorry, will not return.

I’ve had better experience here in this pizzeria before specially in the day time but unfortunately after midnight people who are working don’t really care about customers, So today I bought a Pizza Salami Große to take away I didn’t really checked inside but when I reached home I saw that it barely had any salami and apart from that the server who worked was really rude he was south Asian and didn’t let me know that my pizza was ready he let it stay on cold for long until I went and check whether it is ready or not, I find it really irresponsible way of working also at the time their was not so much crowd in the pizzeria it was only two or three customers, hope you fix these issues in future good luck.

By far my favorite “fast food” pizza place in Berlin.

Der Burger ist eklig. Das Brot ist hart und weich zugleich( ich weiß nicht wie das möglich ist. Die Pommes schmecken wie Mikrowellenpommes. Und das hänchenfleisch im Burger ist zu 0% Fleisch. (siehe Foto) kaum zu empfehlen.

Service Müll, essen schmeckt nicht, Freundlichkeit eine glatte 0!

Essen sehr gut und schnell zubereitet und auch sehr günstig. Restaurant ist gut gelegen und sehr schön gestaltet.

Ein richtig unverschämter Bengel als Kassierer ( langer dünner junge )schenkt kein Beachtung guckt einen nicht an sehr arrogantes Verhalten man fragt ihn nach einer Pizza, seine Antwort ganz frech dauert mehr als eine halbe Stunde. Bitte vergiss nicht, dass dein Lohn durch Kunden bezahlt wird !!! Werde die Filiale nicht mehr besuchen

Die Alte Forne die ist sehr lecker aber es ist auch etwas laut und der Service die haben mir letzte mal Kekse geschenkt Damit will ich sagen Alte Forne ist das beste Restaurant wo ich jemals gegessen habe😃🥰😍 Danke für euer Essen. Liebe Grüße Malak

Die Portionen sind gut. Es schmeckt. Pizza, Hähnchenbrustsalat und Cheeseburger gegessen.

Sehr Lecker und sehr nettes Personal

Sehr lecker, wir hatten jeweils einen Salat. Riesiger Teller mit großzügig portioniertem Parmesan und Hähnchenbrust. Man bestellt am Tresen und bekommt einen Pieper für sein Essen. Die Getränke bekommt man in kleinen Flaschen, im Kühlschrank hinten dran. Ambiente ist okay, an der Hauptstraße etwas unruhig wenn man draußen sitzt. Kleine Nebeninfo, hier ist das Essen Halal und es gibt noch klassische Plastik Strohhalme (zum Glück 😉)

Essen schmeckt zwar gut ABER….. der erst Kontakt mit dem Arbeiter an der Kasse ( langer junger Typ Türke) ist jedesmal so unsympathisch lächelt nie , guckt nie in die Augen. Belehrt den jungen Typen bitte sowas geht gar nicht. Man kriegt jedesmal schlechte Laune wenn er mich bedient

Weder essen noch trinken oder Karte wurde uns nach 15 min Warten angeboten 🤷🏻‍♂️ Und es war definitiv nicht voll Schade...

In beiden 32cm-Pizzen befanden sich 2 Stück kleine Stücke Salami, Ich wartete über anderthalb Stunden auf die Lieferung, als ich im Restaurant anrief, hörte ich nur „warten“, ich hatte keine Zeit etwas zu sagen und der Herr legte auf. Geschmack Wie die Qualität des Service, völlig unten

Maden var okay og prisen er fornuftig. Stedet er børnevenligt, så der er ikke et sted jeg ville gå på en romantisk date. Personalet er serviceminded.

Pizza fehlt Salz in Soße und Teig ist eher ein Brot Teig und kein Pizza Teig

Für 13,90 Euro haben wie eines der Polo Menüs bestellt, jedoch mit großer Enttäuschung für den Preis so ein Menü anzubieten find ich frech. Das Ambiente ist schön & das Essen war lecker. Was noch zu verbessern wäre , eine Klimaanlage einzubauen es war so warm wie in ner Sauna.

Packt mehr Mitarbeiter rein das kann doch nicht sein das Mann oft Mund 30 min warten muss obwohl es nicht voll ist das war’s jetzt für mich niewieder ein Typ vor mir hat schon 40 min gewartet und sein Essen storniert ich warte jetzt auch noch 10 min falls es nicht kommt storniere ich auch echt eine sauerei 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Ich hab da Hamburger bestellt das Fleisch war Stein hart und schwarz wie Reifen alles verbrannt keine burger sauce

Es war hier mal besser aber die Qualität hat sehr nachgelassen. 1. Hab grad einen Cheeseburger gegessen das Fleisch ist nur Chemo gehaktes oder es schmeckt zu mindest so. 2. Die Mitarbeiter denken denen gehört das Land und verhalten sich dementsprechend. 3. Die Mitarbeiter verstehen kein Wort deutsch. 4. Vor mir ist gerade ein Tisch mit 4 Teller Pasta bestellung aufgestanden und gegangen weil die Bestellung falsch aufgenommen wurde. 5. Vor mir standen 2 Frauen die einfsch nur einen Kaffee mit Milch und ein Milchkaffee bestllen wollten es hat 5 min gedauert bis der Verkäufer Milchkaffee und Kaffee mit Milch unterscheiden konnte. 6.Der Cheeseburger war verkohlt. Ich bin selber Ausländer aber das ist wirklich eine Zumutung.

Das Essen wird nun professioneller präsentiert. Es wird nun mehr auf Optik gesetzt . Geschmacklich ist das Essen immernoch super.

Essen war Top, hatte Lasagne. Ist zwar Selbstbedienung, ist aber kein Grund sich aufzuregen, außerdem kann man auch draußen essen

Verstehe die negativen kommentare nicht .. es ist ein schnell Restaurant und kein 5 Sterne Restaurant.. kla muss man manchmal länger warten aber der Laden ist auch meistens gut besucht .. wurde nie enttäuscht was die potion und den geschmeckt angeht .. preis Leistung stimmt für mich auf jedenfall
