So lovely! We arrived at the restaurant at 10 pm and were still able to get drinks and pizza, even though they were supposed to be closing time. Everything was very clean, there was music playing from a record player, and the staff were very friendly.

Delicious. Excellent service. We had pasta at our order for the kid, and pizza at our order... For the man. I got my milk tea. Actually except for the beer, we had nothing from the menu. And everything was just marvelous and delicious. Also the street is so special and quiet.

An Italian restaurant on one of Berlin's prettiest streets. The pizza dough is out of this world and the service is super friendly. A well-kept location with an impressive vinyl collection (which you can listen to right there). Highly recommended!

The service was friendly and not under-employed. The food was delicious. The downside: if you order extra onions and capers on a Margarita pizza, it costs €5 more. That's excessive. We wouldn't go there again. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

The best pizza in Berlin can currently be found here. Many families with children come to this rustically decorated osteria, so it can get quite loud and lively at times. The staff handles this situation in a pleasantly relaxed manner. It's simply fun to watch this hustle and bustle while enjoying excellent pizza and a glass of vino da tabola.

We ordered take away by looking at their menu which said 10 euros per pizza. When getting the pizza we were told that the menu on google maps is old and they really cost 15 euro. The food was nice but they should update their menu on google maps.

The restaurant reopened in March and was extensively renovated. The food is just as delicious as ever, and the music/vinyl theme is still as prominent as ever, but with a more modern twist. It's great that Giradischi is still around!

Top pizza! We had three different pizzas (see photo) and they were all really good (my favorite was the white one with sausage, potatoes, mozzarella, and rosemary). The place is hilarious, lined with vinyl records playing on a turntable, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely late summer evening enjoyed on the outdoor terrace!

There were six of us, and even though the restaurant was packed, we got a nice table on the terrace. We ordered pizzas, steaming hot and delicious; the classic calzone and the one with spinach and ricotta, which I recommend; an excellent mixed fried fish and vegetables; and a rigatoni cacio e pepe. A huge success, well done! We'll be back soon! :)

Beate Pizza, the one I ate in Berlin. Great dough, good selection. Next time I'll have handmade pasta; it looked delicious at the table next to us. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long even though the restaurant was full. We'll be back!!!

I'm from the neighborhood and ate there for the third time yesterday – unfortunately, I was disappointed again. The head waiter, or rather, the owner, became rude after he had to correct an order he had taken incorrectly. I've never experienced such rude treatment from the service staff in a restaurant before. The pizza that was brought out correctly was unfortunately cold and tasted absolutely nothing special. It's a shame – but luckily, there are plenty of other good Italian restaurants nearby.

For the second year in a row we went here. Friendly staff and good pizzas. My wife and I usually share a pizza and that was no problem.

We ate at il Giradischi yesterday and were all very satisfied. The pizzas were excellent and brought back childhood memories of previous Italian vacations with our parents. The alternative atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and relaxed. The service was appropriate.

We were here for Easter Monday! What can I say, everything was very good! From fresh veal with tuna sauce to pizza! Even though it was quite full we were welcomed and served kindly and quickly! Everything perfect and delicious! It will be our fixed stop!

We were there as a family. Knew the location from previous visitors. Apparently the owner has changed, the restaurant has been canceled and the prices have increased. Ordered: a pizza Margherita and two pizzas burrato and vitello tonnato. I could have done the latter myself with a can of tuna. Disappointing. You had to look for the capers with a magnifying glass. Then the pizzas: we haven't had to eat something this bad in a long time. The bottom was burned, the completely sour sauce probably came from a ready-made can from the Penny. The pizza dough hadn't risen properly. All in all, a big failure! We'll definitely never come back. Tourist trap!

For me it was the best pizzeria in the area for a long time. Somehow cool and quaintly decorated, with all the record covers on the walls. Unfortunately the shop has been renovated and for me it has now completely lost its charm.. The next disappointment came when I ordered my favorite pizza, the “Ortolana”, and discovered that the pizza had the same name but had been completely changed. Cherry tomato sauce with eggplant and buffalo mozzarella became cashew nuts..? In terms of price, the whole thing is no longer an insider tip. After all: the pizza still tastes very good!

It used to be much better. Now the walls have been repainted and there are new tables. The iconic punky alternative friendly atmosphere is gone and with it the attitude. I used to prefer the beer benches outside. The prices were increased significantly. Unfortunately we didn't like the food anymore and apart from the pizza, the portions were very small (salad and pasta). The special selection of pizzas has also been decimated. When we told service this, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. New service, had no idea what it used to be like. Well, it's a shame...

It has been renovated and has clearly lost some of its charm. The open wine became more expensive, the mixed salad remained the same price but was only 1/3 of what was previously served. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.

Very welcoming restaurant/pizzeria. Just as you expect from the name, music takes center stage alongside the excellent cuisine. We took advantage of the fish menu, tagliolini with mussels and pecorino, salmon gnocchi and to conclude a delicious fried fish, fine and crunchy at the right point! The Pizza with Nutella as dessert could not be missing. Highly recommended!!!!!

A Roman-style pot-fired pizza with a thin crust. It was so big that it overflowed the plate and it was delicious 😋 The staff and the pizza chef are also Italian, so you can feel like you're in Italy even though you're in Berlin. Recommended for those who like records and music.

Pros: Friendly, attentive staff, plenty of seating (including outside), interesting ambiance (although it looked much cooler in the pictures before the renovation), great music (rock 'n' roll), nice thin pizza base and good crust. Cons: The pizza was missing a few seasonings to better enhance the flavor, so it was a bit bland, but otherwise good. A few more toppings on selected pizzas would also be great, e.g., onions and garlic.

I was in Berlin last weekend for work. Looking for something good and especially Italian I stumbled upon this restaurant. Really a nice place, welcoming Italian style and a bit Berlin style. I ordered a pizza with sausage, potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Fantastic! Living in Holland, unfortunately, I don't often get to eat such a good pizza. High quality dough and ingredients. Highly recommended!!! Especially for Italians abroad!

I am the happiest person in the world when I know I will go to eat at Giradischi ♥️ Food is top notch Italian quality (which I often miss in Berlin, being an Italian myself), and the people are always warm and welcoming, so it always feels you’re going to eat at a friend’s place On top of that, if you’re a fan of music, the collection of records that are in the place is immense, and it’s not so rare to find musicians and bands that are on tour in Berlin eating there before or after their show :)
