Service desert, nobody really wants guests

Nice ambience, authentic dishes and decor that you don't see that often. Gladly again. Staff great. You somehow feel like you're part of a big family.

The pizza was pretty dry and came uncut (we had to cut it ourselves). They refused us to pay separately by card, and overall the waiters weren’t nice and attentive. Unfortunately I don’t recommend.

Great pizza that doesn't meet the usual standards, in an unusual atmosphere. I love the record decoration. We always enjoy coming here, it's almost a must visit when we're in Berlin.

Even though I didn't have the items from the seasonal menu that I was going to order, I decided to order a pizza. After an hour of waiting, when I asked the waiter about the delay, I found out that they hadn't even prepared my order, he asked me for another ten minutes and when I asked him to cancel, he was extremely rude. It was really sad to see other people who had arrived after me dining peacefully.

Everything's great! Good service, good food that was delivered quickly. All the staff speak Italian, which shows that the pizzas are authentic. I recommend the Bicicletta as an aperitif. CASH ONLY

Dietro consiglio di amici siamo andati in questo locale, ristorante e pizzeria, che si trova in un quartiere molto vivace, non troppo lontano dal Mitte e facilmente raggiungibile con la metro. Pizza molto buona, servizio informale ma rapido, personale accogliente e italiano.

Nice pizzeria where I like to have lunch when I visit the Sunday market in the Mauerpark. The pizzas are huge, so you leave satisfied and not hungry. The service is relaxed and the people are passionate about what they do. There are records (vinyl) on the wall everywhere, my favorite corner where I often return is to the David Bowie records.

Terrible experience, the waiter was not polite

On a Friday, the four of us were there spontaneously at 9:30 p.m. on the recommendation of our hotel receptionist. The pizzas were incredibly tasty, we took the waiter's recommendation and they came within 10 minutes. Always my pleasure!

It couldn't be more unfriendly. Despite the empty seats, you wait forever. On our first attempt we just wanted something to drink. We were given 30 minutes to do this. Most restaurants make revenue from drinks. I would have understood if the store had been full. Max. 30% was occupied. A similar picture on our second attempt. Despite the fact that there are a lot of punk records on the wall, there's not much punk going on here.

Have been eating here at intervals for years and have always been satisfied. Yesterday we were there again with a group of 10 people and I was a little worried in advance because of the bad reviews. However: very nice, attentive, patient waiter and delicious pizza (smaller pizzas are also possible for the children) and pasta. Liquor on the house. It was busy, several groups. Nevertheless, the service was perfect for us. Very satisfied all around!!

The waiter had a temper tantrum and insulted people in Italian.

Disastrous waiting time of over an hour, even for drinks. No card payment. Unfortunately incredibly unprofessional.

Just bad. We had to wait forever. It's a shame because the food is good overall.

Here you can get really good pizza in a cool atmosphere, the whole shop is decorated with record covers.

Worst store ever. Went there at 6:50 p.m. with two small children. But of course the gentleman preferred to serve the group of 15 people who came after us first, of course, it also brings in more money. After I asked him an hour later how much longer we had to wait for our order because the children actually had to go to bed, he got upset and preferred to cancel the order rather than fill it immediately. I would have understood that if he had said it would take an hour, then we would have had the choice. It can happen. He just screamed "I'm sorry" in my face at the end and was completely believable. The pizzas themselves are becoming more and more poorly topped and therefore becoming more and more expensive. If there weren't 5 other pizza shops within walking distance, I could somewhat understand that. But now we just switch to the others after 15 years. Thanks for that.

Delicious pizza Quiet and central at Mauerpark

Taking advantage of the warm evening we dined at the external tables shared with other people. The service was slow, the pizza average.

Possibly one of the most horrific dining experiences I’ve ever had. Staff were horrible, rude and didn’t want a single customer there. After sitting down we received our menus very quickly however when we tried to make our order, every time we attempted to get a servers attention, they completely ignored us. The restaurant was by no means busy. We ordered the only red wine on the menu which we left behind as it was undrinkable. We asked to move outside to have a smoke and the waiter in the most dramatic way possible told us no in Italian and proceeded to visibly give out about us to his colleagues. As it is impossible to gain attention of any staff member I then proceeded to the bar to pay where I was met by dirty looks and huffs by three staff members who refused to assist me. I have never felt so unwanted in an establishment in my life. Horrific service.

The Aperol Spritz had no carbonation whatsoever, even though the menu says it's made with soda. When asked, no new one was offered. The three of us were given a glass of champagne to top up and were then ridiculed for our ignorance. We were allowed to listen to further comments about our “German temperament” from a waiter. When paying (cash only), the waiter got angry when two drinks were supposed to be paid for with coins. The only good thing was the pizza, which was impressive.

The food tastes really great and you get free bread sticks, but the service was incredibly unfriendly - I've never experienced that before. Immediately received derogatory looks and was served in an unfriendly tone. The delicious pizza is not worth it to me!!

I take three pizzas, I take them home, I open them and lo and behold, in one pizza there is a hair, in another there is a little moth and the one with the eggplant is burnt .The rude cashier.The place is nice but Anyone who works there should take a long vacation. Thanks for serving me, I paid and threw away the pizzas.

I go there all the time, pizza is really good but daily menu even better. No idea why people post here pizza would be expensive or bad. Maybe better go to Pizza hut then?

Just bad. After we were sent away an hour beforehand, we wanted to quickly (I think) order a pizza to go. We were told beforehand that the waiting time would be around 10 minutes. At 9:41 p.m. we ordered a pizza to take away. The announced waiting time was suddenly 20 minutes. We were at the restaurant at 10:00 p.m. (a minute before the deadline). We paid the bill at 10:02 p.m. We received the pizza after asking at 10:57 p.m. (!!). After waiting for an hour and 16 minutes. We spent most of the waiting time standing in the restaurant. We weren't offered a drink or anything like that. When I asked, I was asked if we were eating meat as a pizza was just ready. I had observed that a pizza was returned from another table, which must have been this one. Interestingly, another review even mentioned this. To make matters worse, the pizza was very black. All in all, terrible service. We don't order there anymore.

We won't be visiting this store again. I have never experienced such substandard staff: rude and extremely unprofessional. The restaurant is rather expensive, especially since the pizza is limp and everything is a bit grubby/unhygienic.

The four of us spontaneously wanted to eat pizza in this restaurant. We were able to find a seat and place our order of 4 pizzas and drinks. Drinks came. Then we waited over two hours for our pizzas. So did all the guests around us. Then two pizzas arrived. 15 minutes later another one. Which was also made with meat instead of vegetarian. After another 15 Minutes later the last two pizzas arrived. While the others had long since eaten their food. In addition, when the waiter brought the last two pizzas, he held one pizza at such an angle that the topping fell onto one of our jackets. The waiter left this uncommented. Nice atmosphere, good taste, but the service and friendliness were hard to beat!

Super great place, the pizza was delicious, the wine was exquisite and the service was friendly and funny. The theme of Giradischi is implemented in an exciting way with exciting walls decorated with albums and records. The price is also good, simply awesome!!!

We ended up here by a random choice and it ended up being a pleasant surprise. The staff is very friendly and the pizzas where made on a stone oven which gave me some relief. We had the fungi and the diavola pizza. Dough is very nice but the pizza itself was somewhat wet from the sauce (this may be of liking for some people but I like it so the cheese has more stick to the slice). There is a wide variety of pizzas but on this Google profile I see pastas and meat which was not on the menu that was given to us (It was just pizzas and salads). The waitress spoke German, Spanish and Italian (congrats) Also, the prices compared to other restaurants in this area are very good! 10-12 euro for a big pizza. Would come back

I actually really enjoyed coming here because I like the atmosphere. We received the wrong pizza twice on separate visits (once without an apology and once with an apology) and no suggestion was made to make the correct one. The waiter has a kind of humor that is not understandable to everyone and can sometimes be hurtful. The food is ok, but not so good that it's worth going back again.

A place where you can eat a good pizza even after 9pm, a time that in Berlin precludes any possibility beyond that time. The interior is a revival of 70s/80s records and Mauro, the owner, is surprisingly affable. Francesca is always available for culinary suggestions. I'll be back tonight

Wenn man geschmacklose und papierdünne pizza (die einen nicht sättigen) mag, ist es definitiv der richtige ort. Ich kann es leider nicht empfehlen

Very tasty pizza. Best in town. Quaint place full of records on the walls, but also somehow very authentically run with Italian charm. However, when it comes to service, it depends on who is there at the time. There can be very long waiting times.

Seit Jahren gehen wir in diese urige Pizzeria und waren bis die letzten 2 bis 3x enttäuscht. Davor war es unsere Lieblingspizzeria. Unsaubere Besteck trotz der Verpackung und auch insgesamt ist es sehr u hygienisch geworden.Die Pizza hat den fluffigen Standard auch nicht mehr sondern sie ist trocken. Das Radler habe ich zurück gehen lassen, da es schal war. Obwohl nicht viel zu tun war, waren die 2 Kellner nur mit ihren Gesprächen beschäftigt und man musste sie auffordern doch die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Schade um diese Pizzeria. So schnell kommen wir nicht wieder.

Nie wieder! Wir besuchten das Restaurant heute Abend ohne vorherige Reservierung und baten das Personal höflich um einen Tisch. Leider wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Restaurant voll sei, jedoch könnten wir nach einem freien Tisch suchen. Draußen sahen wir einen freien Tisch, aber es gab nur zwei Stühle, und wir waren zu dritt. Als wir den Kellner baten, einen zusätzlichen Stuhl zu bringen, reagierte er unhöflich und beschwerte sich darüber, dass er bereits viel zu tun hatte. Als ich höflich darauf hinwies, dass wir die Situation verstehen, begann er, uns anzuschreien. Obwohl ich Italienisch verstehe, sollte kein Kunde so behandelt werden. Der Service war äußerst unprofessionell, obwohl ich die Pizza nicht bewerten kann, da wir nicht in der Lage waren, sie zu bestellen. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werde ich dieses Restaurant leider nicht mehr besuchen.

„It‘s a kind of magic“ - der Abend hier war etwas Besonderes. Wie ein kurzweiliger Film mit dem Titel ‚Mauro, Armado, Lucia, Uwe & all die anderen“. Ein Stückchen Vesuv mitten im hippen Prenzlauer Berlin. Guter Wein und rustikales Mobiliar. Die Pizzen haben Klodeckelformat und sind so hauchdünn wie eine Schallplatte, deren Cover an Decken und Wänden jeden freien Quadratzentimeter ausfüllen. Nicht nur die beste Pizza diesseits der Alpen - auch ein grandioses Flair. The Unforgettable Serata

Bitte macht die Getränke größer!! Die Pizzen sind hammer, dünn und knusprig, aber die Getränke sind mit 0,2l echt zu klein (kostet ja genauso viel wie große Gläser woanders). Das Chiliöl kann ich empfehlen, aber geht langsam ran🌶️🌶️. Falls ihr das lest und überlegt dort essen zu gehen: Würde ich trotzdem nochmal machen. Die Gegend und das Essen sind beides echt gut 👍

Visited here twice recently. Love that it stays open late. We ordered pizzas around 10pm and mine (the one with potato and rosemary) was a crispy but also pillowy dough. Just gorgy. The potatoes were seasoned beautifully (no soggy plain potato slices here!) Highly rec.

We went early evening a group of 8. Everyone enjoyed their pizza, although some of the toppings looked a bit sparse. Good selection of drinks.

Die Pizza ist lecker aber nichts besonderes. Der Kellner der die Bestellung annimmt ist leider sehr unfreundlich. Das Ambiente ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr sauber ist es wirklich nicht. Ich verstehe diese guten Bewertungen hier nicht. Nach dem Essen lagen wir beide mit Magenschmerzen zu Hause. Definitiv keine Empfehlung

Ventede det længste vi nogensinde har gjort på 2 øl - efter flere henvendelse fik vi at vi at den var på vej men da det var en fadøl ville det tage den tid det tog - den tror vi dog ikke på. Man var vist bare ikke særlig interesseret i kun at servere øl trods det vi var de eneste kunder i butikken. Bestilet 2 store fadøl og fik 2 små til pris for en stor. Godt vi ikke bestilte mad, så var vi dels blevet ruineret og var døde af sult. Stedet frarådes at besøge - skynd jer forbi, da der er masser af andre gode steder lige ved siden af.

I can’t understand how this place got 4+ rating? Because we literally had the worst ever pizza experience. The pizza was burnt and tasteless; simply we could not finish half of it, I could have taken some pictures. The plates and the cutleries were not clean either. The place is also visited by flies. Really this was one of the worst eating experiences. Save you and your money, people, AVOID THIS PLACE!

Ganz schlechtes Essen und Service sehr unfreundlich. Nicht zu empfehlen. Wie hatten Pizza bestellt, der Schinken war schon grau, also lag der schon einige Tage offen und nicht gekühlt rum.

Sehr gute Pizzen, riesige Auswahl! Bedienung etwas eigenwillig. Ambiente studentisch. Mein Favorit: Pizza Incredibile mit Champignons, pikanter Salami, Bresaola, Parmesansplittern, Walnüssen Gibt in Berlin noch vier weitere Ableger mit dem gleichen Angebot: Il Casolare, Due Forni, Ritrovo und Bra

Hammer gute Pizzen!! Sehr gross, hauchdünn und günstig! Tipp: In der Karte werden nur die Pizzen angezeigt. im Restaurant selber gibt es Tafeln an den Wänden, an denen die Pastagerichte und Desserts angeschrieben sind.

Meine Familie und ich waren hier grad zum Essen. Spontan nach einem Mauerpark Besuch. Das ist Essen ist 0815, nichts besonderes Alles sehr veraltet und lieblos. Wir hatten Pizza bestellt.... Ganz ehrlich eine Tiefkühl Pizza, hätte es auch getaN Vorsicht es arbeitet eine sehr korpulente äußerst unfreundliche Dame hier bzw. Eine Kellnerin von Anfang an, war sie sehr unsympathisch. Andere Italienische Gäste wurden bevorzugt und haben anfangs etwas Brot bekommen. Wir haben nur verpackte Grissini bekommen. Und anfangs wurde uns die Speisekarte hingeschrieben. VERMEIDET BITTE DIESEN LADEN!!!!

Zu Anfang wollte uns der Kellner loswerden, hat uns nicht die Chance gegeben zu bestellen. Nachdem wir mit dem Chef gesprochen haben, konnten wir sitzen bleiben. Den ganzen Abend hat uns der Kellner nur sporadisch bedient, hat sich immer wieder über uns aufgeregt. Am Ende wurden wir beim abkassieren auf Italienisch beleidigt. Das Essen konnte diese unangenehme Erfahrung leider nicht besser machen… ich würde hier nicht mehr essen gehen :(

Used to be a regular Buon Gustaio fan while living around the corner for years, and revisiting Berlin I was so happy to be back at Il Giradisci! Best pizza, best service - here’s to many happy returns.

Topp pizza place .. Aber die pizza war früher grösser .. Ist Teig so teuer geworden?

Ambiente war gut, das Wetter hat aber auch gepasst. Ansonsten muss man in dem Laden überlegen, ob es nach einem authentischen Italiener aussehen soll oder einfach in die Jahre gekommen ist. Hygiene, gerade im Sanitärbereich ist leider nicht gut, Wasserhahn nicht fest und alles schon ein wenig dreckig. Pizza hat eine gute Stunde gedauert, Belag war sehr ungleich verteilt und die Würze fehlte. Bis auf den Teig war es wirklich ein wenig (ent)täuschend.

Sehr gute Pizzen zum fairen Preis.

Die Pizzen waren super lecker, der Service hat am Anfang einen Moment gedauert, doch dann war es in Ordnung. Es ist ein uhriger Laden mit Schalplatten an den Wänden. Bis man zu den Toiletten läuft, kommt man an der Küche und an einer Rümpelkammer vorbei. Am Ende war eine Baustelle. Die Toiletten waren erstaunlich sauber und es gab einen Wickeltisch auf der Damentoilette.

Der Laden sieht von außen einladend aus. Auch mit dem Trubel drum herum und auch den Familien, die dort aßen, sah alles eigentlich einladend aus. Die Pizza war aber leider angebrannt, wir mussten sogar ein Hundehaar rausfischen. Insgesamt haben wir 1,5 Stunden und zweimaligem Nachfragen auf Getränke und Essen warten müssen bei zugegebenermaßen hohem Kundenaufkommen. Aber trotzdem ist das inakzeptabel. Die Pizzasoße war meiner meiner nach geschmacklos, es hätten Tomaten aus der Düse sein können, ungesalzen. Am Käse gibt es aber nichts zu meckern. Trotzdem wäre ich ehrlich gesagt lieber gegangen, ohne zu bezahlen. Sry das war nichts

So als Touristin in der eigenen Stadt war das interessant. 😁 Der Service war super und die Pizza die beste seit langem. ICH hätte als Servicekraft schon längst das Handtuch nicht nur geschmissen, sondern jemandem um die Ohren gehauen. Diese Engelsgeduld war außerordentlich. Ganz großartig ❤️

Sehr leckere Pizza. Beste der Stadt. Uriger Ort voller Schallplatten an den Wänden, aber auch irgendwie sehr authentisch geführt mit italienischem Charme. Allerdings kommt es beim Service darauf an, wer gerade da ist. Da kann es zu sehr langen Wartezeiten kommen.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr nett und die Bedienung Berliner Freundlich. Die Pizza leider fand ich echt schwach für Berliner Verhältnisse. Da gibt es deutlich bessere.

Es ist einfach 5 min laufen von mir, und deswegen es ist auch meine Liebling Italiener. Pizza buon gustaio ist die beste.

Bestes Tiramisu, dass ich je hatte! Pizza ebenfalls sehr lecker. Sehr entspannte, legere Atmosphäre. Wie in Italien :)

Update 2022: Pizzen haben sich verschlechtert, von 7 Pizzen kommen 2 ca. 20 Minuten später als die anderen. Und dir ersten 5 auch noch kalt. Geht gar nicht. Zutaten auf die Pizza werden mit blossen Fingern drayf gestreut womit due Kellner zuvor Geld und alles mogliche angefasst haben. Lieber nicht gucken, pfui! Da isr Duo Forni doch tausend Mal besser auxh wenn es lauter ist. Sensationell gute Pizzas, immer. Bedienung ist so naja. Aber tolles Ambiente mitten in Prenzlberg und so gute Pizza gibts eben nicht überall. Karten und Barzahlung möglich. Empfehlung!
