Very friendly service and excellent food. The pizzas were topped with the best toppings and were simply delicious. The five of us were completely satisfied. Thank you.

Update: It's sad that after many years at this beautiful location, the restaurant had to close. Apparently, it was political incitement from the left, mocking the fact that a political gathering had once taken place there by posting leaflets on trees! The nice owners of the restaurant don't deserve this! Some political movements are so intolerant! ___________________ (2019) Arabic restaurant with Italian and traditional dishes. There are several Arabic restaurants in Berlin with a variety of dishes from different countries, and that's a good thing, because Arabic restaurants are generally very reasonably priced and usually of good quality! For example, there's the doree in Schöneberg or the doredo on Kurt-Schumacher-Platz; they're significantly cheaper, the portions are larger, and the quality is no worse than the rapallo. Of course, you pay a bit more at the Kudamm, but the ratio still has to be right. If oriental countries copy Italian cuisine, that's fine and enriching, but since it's not original and tastes somewhat different, the prices must at least be commensurate. The appetizers are clearly overpriced. Spaghetti (a portion of a plate costs 40 cents!) and pizza are priced like you'd get at a real Italian restaurant, but the portions are smaller and the quality is below that of an Italian restaurant. The pizzas have too much white flour and less topping, the spaghetti sauce isn't particularly generous, and the other Italian dishes are actually just too expensive. The drinks, too, are more suited to an upscale Italian restaurant on Kurfürstendamm than to a small, uncharming Arab shop with little flair in a new, uncharming building. The waiters are quite friendly, but others slam the food onto your table without much discussion if you've ordered too little (this happened to me once when I only wanted a salad for dietary reasons). We'll have to keep an eye on Rapallo. If things improve, I'll of course also improve my rating. It's definitely not an Italian restaurant, but the prices are just as high.

My wife and I actually visited all the Iranian restaurants in Europe, from Spain to the Netherlands. If I were to give an honest opinion, the food didn't taste bad, but there were some flaws. First: Iranian kebab chloe doesn't have barberry 🤦 Only Afghan restaurants serve Iranian kebab chloe with barberry. Second: Sumac is a matter of taste. Many people, including myself, don't like sumac. No Iranian restaurant serves kebab with sumac 👎. Third: The amount of food was very small compared to the price, which was really not worth it. Each meal was just a regular kebab skewer and a small amount of rice for 18.50 euros without an appetizer. Well, I can say it wasn't worth it at all. Of course, the environment was calm and friendly, and the staff was polite and lovely. Conclusion: It's worth it just once for an adventure if you have extra money. But no more.
