Food takes too long and is almost cold.

Very friendly, kind-hearted hosts. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. We all sat at the same table and had breakfast; it was very informal and wonderful. The location is also excellent, just a short walk to the city center, train station, and bus stops. Highly recommended, and I'll go back, as my stay was too short. The overnight stay was also good.

The Alte Amtstube offers a very rustic pub, which also includes a smoking club, and the air is circulated. In addition, nice, very cozy apartments with a small kitchen unit (dishes, microwave, refrigerator) and a nice holiday apartment opposite are offered, all very, very reasonably priced. There is also another holiday apartment in the Upper Harz in Trautenstein (near Hasselfelde), which is an entire semi-detached house. You are very close to the historic town hall in the center of Wernigerode and can start many beautiful excursions into the Harz from here. Breakfast is included in the price offer for the apartments. You can also have something to eat very cheaply in the evening. The boss of the house and his wife are very nice and always helpful, we can only warmly recommend everything.

Das ist eine richtig alte Kneipe mit Stammkunden die immer da sind. Der Wirt ist nett und kann vielerzählen. Ein sehr netter Kontakt.

Tolle Gastgeber und Unterkunft. Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Pension liegt nur ein paar Meter vom Boulevard entfernt in einer Seitenstraße und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir können sie nur empfehlen. 😀👍🌞
