Today I bought two doner kebabs for myself and a friend. They were the worst I've ever eaten in my entire life.

We've been to the restaurant several times, and this was our first time ordering delivery. We've never been disappointed with Alanya, and this was no exception. Delivery arrived a bit faster than expected, and the food was hot and delicious. Plenty of meat (from the minced lamb skewer) at Ali Nazik, and very tender pieces of lamb at Güvec. Fresh vegetables and bulgur, all well prepared. The prices are standard these days and totally reasonable.

We bought two kebabs to take away yesterday. The meat was flavorless, lacking any seasoning, and the sauerkraut was inedible and sour! The dishes were prepared without care! You feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome in the shop. It was an experience I don't want to repeat.

The doner roll was a bit tasteless. The dough wasn't warm and was still very floury. A quick fry would have been nice. The fries were a bit bland. However, the service was friendly and the food came quickly. Good access to trams 3, 7, and 13. Plenty of seating inside and in the conservatory.

I've enjoyed going to Alanya for around 15 years – from my early school days to today, when the restaurant has developed into a chic establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. I've always experienced first-class service there: warm bread with meals, attentive service – just what you'd expect. But when it comes to food to go, things are unfortunately quite different. Doner prices of €8 are no problem for me if the quality is right – but beyond the meat, it leaves a lot to be desired. A curry sauce that's more reminiscent of quark or cream than a fresh curry sauce, and the salad doesn't exactly seem fresh. The delivery service is even more disappointing: A minimum order value of €18 is fine, but why is it too much to ask not to completely seal the bag and poke holes in the aluminum foil so the doner doesn't arrive completely soggy? When I raised this in a polite tone, I was immediately interrupted – with the response, "It's either the same as always or nothing." And when I asked the employee to listen to me, he simply hung up in the middle of the conversation. Honestly, I'm wondering what I'm paying more for these days. It's a shame, because all I wanted to do was relax and order from my regular restaurant. Instead, I'm left with frustration.

Unfortunately disappointing – fast delivery, but tasteless food I ordered food from the Alanya Restaurant – the delivery was pleasantly fast, but that was unfortunately the highlight. The Alanya Grill Plate was quite disappointing. It simply lacked everything that makes good Turkish food: hardly any salt, hardly any spices, no flavor. Everything tasted bland and insignificant. We used to enjoy going there when the place first opened. The grilled dishes were always delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Now we're just disappointed. We won't be ordering from there again.

Good location near the Noltemeyer Bridge. There's good outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. We ordered a doner kebab plate (2 small, 1 large). The small doner kebab plate was a joke. There was practically no salad, and the rice was placed under the meat to make it appear larger. However, the plate was mostly oily rice. The lamb was not tasty at all. I started the next morning with a stomach ache. Definitely my first and last visit.

Ordered online for pickup today. It worked perfectly. A pleasant welcome and friendly service. The food was delicious and generously portioned, and the salad was crisp and fresh.

This was the first time we ordered online, and also the last. First, it was impossible to order online because email registration didn't work. We ordered by phone. The baklava tasted like plastic. All the pizzas were topped with arugula and tomatoes, which was very unsuitable for children and wasn't described as such in the order. We called and received new pizzas without the unwanted side dish. This delivery, like the first one, took another 35 minutes (the mood was at rock bottom). The old pizzas were taken away again. It's creepy; I don't want to know what they do with them, but I can imagine it. We'll never order from there again.

The positive thing is that they don't skimp on meat here, although some of the meat was too tender and contained a lot of gristle. The service was relatively good. The ambiance is great and there's a lovely outdoor area.

Super delicious restaurant. The food arrives quickly, hot, and deliciously. The service is first-class. We eat there often and had a chicken skewer with side dishes. It was perfectly grilled. Tender, and the rice and side dishes were very good and appealing. Beforehand, you get esme and tzatziki + fresh flatbread, plus a salad plate for everyone. At the end, we had a tea and each got a homemade baklava – and all for just under €16!!! Fantastic 👏🏽

I ordered a simple lamb kebab pocket - after a few bites I realized that it only contained tendons and cartilage, which not even any animal, let alone a human, would eat. I bit off and chewed about half of it, but spit it all out. It was absolutely inedible. Later I even had a slight stomach ache.

Catastrophe we ordered kebab and fries, the lamb kebab was disgusting, was still raw and only pieces of fat and everything was expensive because how can a little water cost €3.90, it won't ever happen again.

Today we wanted to try out a new Turkish restaurant but unfortunately we regretted it. We walked in, greeted the staff and were ignored and looked at strangely. There was little going on. We chose the place ourselves and sat at the table. The card arrived relatively quickly. It feels like it takes forever for the order to be taken. When we asked for a lemon for our chicken skewer, this was answered immediately and then we chatted with an acquaintance for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately the chicken was a three out of ten. The rice was delicious though. The service was very demotivated and seemed listless and annoyed. When the table was cleared we asked for the bill. Which only came after the second request. We were not at all satisfied with the service and decided not to tip. But the waitress made a tip for herself and simply didn't give enough change. Really not recommended. You should survive twice eating there.

Köfte a bit small because it was the dish of the day. Add some rice and a side salad for 15.50. Köfte tasted ok, but pure lamb, not a lamb/beef mixture - at least that's what I think. You have to like it. I thought it was good. Then a small kebab plate for €12 - really quite an announcement. The chicken meat was very unseasoned and extremely fatty. Everything was put together on the plate rather carelessly. Aside from the (lack of) taste, both my son and my wife didn't feel well shortly afterwards. Unfortunately, the little one now has a stomach ache and diarrhea for half the day. My wife feels a little nauseous all the time. Neither of them could eat. I don't know what's in the meat, but it seems to be either just way too fatty or there's some other problem. Definitely NOT recommended - sorry. Unfortunately the prices are not at all justified for the portions and the poor quality. Second star only because köfte were ok. Service was relatively friendly, don't expect top service in a Urfa, but others in Hanover still have this. The food bloggers seemed to have had a very good day here - we came because of their report. Otherwise I can't explain the EXTREMELY GOOD rating and hot recommendation! I am therefore very disappointed. It's a shame actually...

The concept is coherent. Turkish cuisine, something between a snack bar and a restaurant, is also more common in Turkey. My food wasn't that good. I had fries that were not or barely salted. Sigara Börek, which unfortunately were mostly not crispy. And Lamacun, which was really very fresh, but unfortunately the pieces were placed on top of each other and on top of the salad, which made the last 2 pieces very soggy. My husband's meat dish was ok. I wouldn't come again now, but I can't advise anyone against it either

I just ordered a small plate of kebab with lamb. Food was terrible! For the first time we waited over an hour! Food was cold and the meat was so tough/gristly/burnt, INEDIBLE! Photo of the “döner plate” says it all. For 12 euros this portion would have to be punishable! Unfortunately you have to give one star to give the rating. Health department REIF!!!

The Döner Tasche served in this place is very tasty.

The waiter is unfriendly and can't speak German well. I ordered a kebab on site for €7.90. The kebab was bad and the meat was gristly. As if that wasn't enough, shortly before I took a bite (on half of the kebab) I noticed a kind of metal spiral in my kebab meat (see photo). I then showed it to the employee and he didn't apologize, let alone say a word. We were then given baklava as a gift and I didn't have to pay for the kebab either. Nevertheless, it is not recommended: bad service and bad food with danger to life.

The service at the kebab counter isn't exactly friendly - there's no smile or a nice greeting. You should have certain basic knowledge in the catering industry. But the reason for these recessions is the disgusting kebab. Rarely have I eaten such a bad one / after at most half of the kebab I couldn't stand the taste and had to throw it away. The taste of the chicken 🐔 was simply underground, hard to describe. There was almost no sauce on it. Not again 🤮

I have never had such bad food delivered to me in Hanover. The swarma roll was completely mushy and inedible. The "starter plate" consisted, among other things, of canned beans, canned chickpeas and, worst of all, canned champions without marinade or anything like that. I called the restaurant and they wanted to refund me the price and I also asked them to pick up the food but neither happened. Incompetent and lying! Over 20 euros a ton! Additionally, an eternal waiting time! For what? To open the can?

Unfortunately the kebab didn't taste that good because the confused employee forgot the sauce. My children also got diarrhea from the kebab. The kebab smells a bit strange, like nail polish remover (and it tastes like that too).

Called after an hour and found out that the driver had written down the wrong house number. The second time the wrong food was delivered. The third time only a plate of chicken came. Unfortunately the lamb is inedible, gristly and fatty. So we completely forgot about it. Paid 28 euros for free. The chicken is very tasty, but that doesn't get us anywhere. The driver apologized several times and brought us baklava. But unfortunately we will no longer be ordering for these reasons. I think it's a shame because last week was really good. We had to throw away two plates. I ate the salad but we completely missed the rest.

Unfortunately our visit to the Alanya Restaurant was a disappointment. The chicken was still raw and therefore inedible. We also found pieces of plastic in our salad twice. When we pointed this out to the waiter, his response was simply, "Do you want slices of meat for that?" Instead of apologizing, the waiter was very rude and responded inappropriately to our complaint. In addition, four out of eight dishes were inedible. Overall the experience was extremely unsatisfactory and we cannot recommend this restaurant.

The waitress is rude and asks me to sit down even though I just wanted to order. The facility is packed and uncomfortable. I really don't like going here.
