Döner König in Hannover

The sauce wasn't right, unfortunately we got curry instead of tzatziki. There is definitely still a lot of potential here that can be exploited. The meat is crispier and better seasoned, the shop has been visually spruced up, and that's easily 1.5 stars. The bread was well toasted and tasted good.

I didn't think the store was that great, everything was a bit cramped although there was actually plenty of space. In terms of ambience, not much was achieved either. Looks like a run-of-the-mill kebab shop. Service isn't really great either, I was hoping to get at least some Turkish tea with such a large order. The royal plate is a bit meager for the price. To put it nicely, the meat had strong roasted aromas and despite everything, the chicken pieces were still half raw. The meat itself was very hearty, which I normally have no problem with, although everything else was rather lightly seasoned. It worked fine, but I had extreme heartburn during the night. Maybe the store itself is okay, but the record just didn't convince me. Next time maybe just a kebab!

I haven't eaten kebab for a long time and then I really felt like it again. That's why I went looking on Vahrenwalder Straße. Since I only eat lamb kebab, it was of course clear that I only eat where it is offered. The really good reviews at Döner König convinced me and I went there. I ordered a small kebab. I was completely satisfied. The sauce was very tasty and nice with garlic, the salad was crunchy, the bread was crispy and the meat was just as I imagined. I am completely satisfied and can definitely recommend eating there!! delicious!

A small snack bar with 4x tables for 2 and 6x tables for 4. The service is friendly and quick, the food for 4 people was ready within 5 minutes and was hot and tasty. There was also fresh flatbread and dips. The atmosphere is pleasant, but you can understandably hear the nearby Vahrenwalder Straße and the tram. The prices are reasonable. Oh God!!!! Just ordered, mega kebab was really full of salad and hardly any meat!!!! Taste of meat was 0. Fries were so bad!!!! The driver was so great, really so sweet.

For my taste, the cleanliness is not that appealing, there are light switches in the toilet without a cover! It smells unpleasant, unfortunately. My meal was not a highlight.

Absolute impudence, bad service, incapable of criticism. We discovered that half of the order was incorrect. When we finally reached someone, they tried to talk their way out of it. And they also wanted travel costs for the replacement delivery.

Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty at all. Far too few fries and meat didn't taste like chicken but like something else, strange consistency. Unfortunately I had to throw it away.

7.50 € for a kebab bag, anyone who supports this price-performance ratio is no longer very fresh. The last time I was there it cost 6 euros, which I only found out afterwards after the four of us had finished eating. If I had known that beforehand, I wouldn't have accepted it. Well, they probably had to work on the cleanliness a little more because at that point the tables were still sticky and hadn't been cleaned. P.S. It's really tough that you get thrown out of a store if you point out small defects like the user named KRZY siu did here, someone probably isn't capable of criticism. Great service, irony off.

I was there again today and got my kebab nice and warm with plenty of chicken with a great taste and a salad of your choice. Plus an Ayran and a small tea from the house. Yes, things are a little different here than before, that's just how it is in life. The boss hears that it's good

I didn't feel particularly welcome. The waitress took my order and then made a private phone call on her cell phone. After the phone call, he talked to another customer (the two obviously knew each other) and prepared (my) kebab with all the trimmings. I didn't know he was preparing my food. Since I suffer from a food allergy, my order had to be prepared a second time. He then took the cold pieces of meat that were still at the bottom of the tray. Unfortunately, the food tasted accordingly. A pity. I'm sure you can do better but I won't spend any money on a second try!

The food was ok. Service not particularly friendly. No card payment was possible, which was an absolute no-go for me in 2024.

Good and fast delivery but I found a hair in my kebab that I ordered today, May 3rd, 2024 and the kebab bread was too hard. Otherwise the cheese sauce was good and tasty. I would like to make amends for what was simply a fly in the kebab.

Reviews should be fair and not exaggerated. But after being extremely disappointed I have to post this here. That was the worst kebab plate I've ever eaten. The few fries under the meat were completely soaked in oil, the chicken was of the lowest quality and the onions had an extreme taste of their own - as if the cutting board was never washed. The sauces were good, but the rest wasn't good. I couldn't continue eating after half of it and really needed to get the money back. Very unfortunate. I just had to edit the review again because I forgot to mention something. A flatbread was included with the kebab plate, which could have been saved. You couldn't eat it, the bread had only been warmed up briefly and didn't taste like anything.

Disgusting, meat was only with fat and no sauce, despite the fact that I paid for it, dry and only fat, whole bag was even with fat and no fork was served

Top shop!!! There were two people there, we ordered the King's Platter and got the full program with starter, the King's Platter and dessert. The food was super good, the staff was also very nice and friendly, you immediately felt at home. I can only recommend.

New owner, unfortunately you can tell. Less meat in the kebab bag, just leave out the salad and yoghurt for the kebab, the meat is hard and bone dry. Good thing I had tzatziki in the house, otherwise I probably would have choked to death. Only the old boys from the delivery service maintain the usual quality standard: as always, fast and super friendly, for which they get 5 service stars.

Unfortunately the meat doesn't meet the standards that a good kebab should have. People often rely on cheaper products, which of course bring in more profit, but scare away guests.

Ordered food online. The Dürüm wasn't a Dürüm it was more bread than toppings. Pizza completely dry & requests were ignored. Despite this, the Dürüm had a “good” taste. I wouldn't order it again, but if you order it once you can pass it up.

Super tasty kebab. All wishes are taken care of in the best possible way. Quality is excellent and the staff is super friendly! The delivery service is also absolutely reliable and the food always arrives super hot!

The amount of toppings on the Cheese Doner Roll and the Holla Doner Roll was just ridiculously small, you need at least 2 to fill you up. At first I thought they had completely forgotten the cheese sauce because you could hardly taste it. Delivery time was okay, but I will definitely never order here again.

Haben eine Aktion zum Jubiläum genutzt und uns dort Essen zum Mitnehmen geholt. Der Laden selber ist ganz ok eingerichtet und die Mitarbeiter waren nett. Das Essen selber war eher mau. Für den Aktionspreis war das in Ordnung, aber mehr auch nicht. Das können andere besser.

Für den aktuellen Aktionspreis von 3€ der Döner sollte man nicht meckern, aber der Standardpreis für 6€ ist zu hoch für die Menge die man dort bekommt, da gehe ich lieber zur Konkurrenz im Grenzweg, da bekomme ich selber gebackenes Brot, Schichtfleisch und eine vernünftige Menge im Döner. Was aber gar nicht geht ist, dass das Personal (4 Leute) bei meiner Bestellung bestimmt 5 mal gefragt hat welches Fleisch ich möchte. Ich war im Übrigen kein Einzelfall den beiden anderen die bestellt haben erging es genauso. Aber Hauptsache ein Kollege kommt vorbei mit dem man über Gott und die Welt am Fenster redet.

Vor einigen Jahren gut gewesen, aber inzwischen nicht mehr so empfehlenswert. Andere Döner in der Umgebung schmecken bei gleichem Preis einfach deutlich besser

Den Lieferservice kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

Super nettes Personal und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich habe aus Versehen außerhalb der Lieferzeiten bestellt, aber wurde direkt kontaktiert und wir haben uns schnell einigen können. Essen war auch lecker. Kann ich empfehlen!

Döner okay aber nix besonderes ✌🏻

Ist ein nettes döner zum Essen , die Nachbarn nerven nicht jeder geht seiner Arbeit nach , einige Hunde bellen bei jedem klingeln das stört etwas ansonsten finde ich ist es hier eine nette Gegend sofern man nichts nach 22 Uhr braucht den danach ist pop Shop im Dorf dan heißt es ab ins Auto und zum nächsten Dorf oder eher in die Großstadt ist ja nicht gerade weit weg , dank der neuen Autobahn die gebaut werden soll sogar noch schneller zu erreichen , also haltet die Ohren steif und bleibt sauber , sehr schwierig das nicht zu bleiben hier falls ja Respekt du hast geschafft was sonst keiner schafft .

Guter Service haben kurz vor laden Schluss noch falafel gegönnt (sorry nochmal) falafel auch 7/10 !!
