I read the largely positive reviews and reserved a table at short notice. A restaurant that is busy can only be a good thing. And that's the case. Food was super tasty. Not overly seasoned like most Greeks. You could taste the good quality. Very tender calamari which is rare. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. You have a very great view. An absolute recommendation. You should make a reservation.

Service was great and accommodating! The main course “Moussaka” (recommended by the house) was very bland. Little salt and the typical spices that make up this dish were missing. The taste of Metaxa Sauce was more reminiscent of a mushroom sauce. It's a shame because the ambience and service were great!

The Greek doesn't seem to be run by Greeks. But the food was very good. Likewise the view. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we got a table. Despite the hustle and bustle in the restaurant, there were a lot of guests inside and outside, the service was very friendly and polite. At the end we got ouzo on the house.

If you like seafood, don’t ever miss it. The biggest calamari in my life. Yum yum!

The food was okay, the meat could have been seared a little more but the taste was okay. When we arrived and left the restaurant, a small group was standing at a bar table at the entrance and unfortunately only made a few centimeters of space for us (with strollers) even after being asked - it would have been nice for the service staff standing there to ask their "acquaintances" to be considerate requested. The service was otherwise friendly. It felt like the staff stood in front of the entrance every 10 minutes and smoked (doesn't seem very inviting and moved everything towards the eating guests - very unpleasant, especially for non-smokers with babies). We were sitting outside and it had been raining heavily before (the waitress kindly pointed out to us that when it rains you will feel weak even under the sun protection) of course the tables and chairs were still wet but we were lucky and it only rained a little (we still got wet 😄). We paid our bill with a card and gave our extra tip in cash. It would have been nice if the waitress had thanked us for that. All in all, the food was okay and the view was good, but nothing that we would definitely have to go to again.

Something great for a quiet evening

We arrived at the restaurant quite late for the region. We were well served and above all very quickly which is suspicious. We guess the microwave helped. Otherwise the food was good however my vegetarian dish was very fatty.

We've been so stressed over the last few years that it's always been lost. Yesterday we came over spontaneously and had a delicious meal! We were really happy to be welcomed with smiling faces! The food was delicious, you guys are just great ❤️ Greetings Serhat Yildiran

Were there for dinner. Sat on the terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the portions were just right for us.

Saltless fish plate, cost 57 euros and took too long time (about 1 hour). The salt cellar on the table has incredible necessity. The waitress was dull to us, I don't know why, maybe we asked to order our food, maybe we have foreign faces. But white wine wasn't bad.

I won't recommend. The only points are for the Schneeberg outside. The service staff can cope with the high workload not at all. We waited an hour for gyros and fried fish plate. All questions are answered with “well, we still have something else to do”. The food is not seasoned at all, the only salty things are the salt barrel and supermarket gyros and yogurt. The price is incredibly high. There is also a half hour wait for dessert. In addition, no one here asks whether we have finished the appetizer or whether we enjoyed it. Not friendly to foreigners, just never come here again.

The only barbecue gyro that doesn't have any smell seems to be bought from lidl across the street.

Who gave a good rating of 4.4 here? We only get food 1.5 hours after ordering, and it has no taste at all, not even the slightest bit salty (no other taste either)! Waiter not nice, lack of workers here. Spend money, waste time, taste homemade salt and pepper. What a pleasure!

The first Greek I rate with five stars! The gyro meat here is meaty and not just fatty like most Greeks! Overall, the food was convincing. The service was very nice and actually fulfilled all of our wishes.

We were at the Acropolis in mid-March around 8 p.m., first more or less out of sheer desperation, firstly because many restaurants weren't open yet and secondly because it was already too late and the few restaurants that were open only until around 8 p.m. Offered food at 8:30 p.m. However, the emergency turned out to be a stroke of luck. Super delicious food, very nice and friendly service staff who had the shop and their business completely under control. Beautifully located and laid out in a 1/4 circle shape with a beautiful view of the city center, which is much lower down. We'll come back next time we're in Berchdesgaden.

After a day of touring the Königssee and Berchtesgaden we were looking for a restaurant that would spark both our interest - and eventually came across "Akropolis". We were lucky to still get a table despite it being a sunday and us not having a reservation. The menu contained a good amount of traditional Greek dishes. Both of us ordered a different meal, but we also tried a small sample of one another's. Both meals were very enjoyable. The kalamari I had was one of the best kalamari I've had so far. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I recommend a seat by the window or on the terrace, if available. That way you can enjoy the beautiful view while eating.

Service staff dressed rather inappropriately. The meat components were all incredibly hard, barely edible and definitely no longer fresh! Tzatziki was definitely bought and of poor quality. Only the fries were edible. The price was unreasonably high!

Freundliches Personal Super Essen und lecker Bierchen

Waren nun schon das zweite Mal dort und wir sind wieder sehr begeistert gewesen. Das Personal war sehr nett, wir haben rund 20 Minuten aufs Essen gewartet (4 Personen) was ich für ein Abendessen total okay finde. Man sollte nur vorher reservieren,da es jedes mal sehr voll ist. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Ein super Restaurant! Wir haben die Fisch Platte für 2 Personen bestellt - es war super frisch und lecker zubereitet, auch eine Riesenportion! Danach Baklava und griechischer Kaffee, auch der Wein war gut. Atmosphäre gemütlich und familiär- sehr zu empfehlen!

Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, aber als Hauptspeise hatte ich das Rumpsteak medium rear bestellt und es kam durch und etwas zäh. Da ich nicht wollte, dass ein ganzes Stück Fleisch weggeworfen wird und etwas neues gekocht wird, habe ich gefragt ob man mir einen Rabatt auf die 26€ teuere Mahlzeit geben kann. Das wurde verneint. Deswegen nur 2 Sterne leider…die Bedienung war aber sehr nett und die kann ja auch schließlich nichts dafür!

Das Essen ist absolut überdurchschnittlich, die Bedienung ist freundlich und nimmt sich Zeit, obwohl der Laden voll ist und Gäste weggeschickt werden mussten. Nur zu empfehlen!

Trotz das im Lokal nur zwei Personen Platz genommen hatten, dauerte es eine Weile bis man an den Tisch kam , die Speisekarte brachte und später die Bestellung aufnahm. Die Preise klangen sehr gut und ich war gespannt auf Gyros mit Kalamari. Es gab erstmal keinen Salat vorher, was ich bei einem Griechen noch nie erlebt habe. Der Teller war sehr übersichtlich. Der Tintenfisch war noch fest und ungewürzt. Gyros war lauwarm und wahrscheinlich vom Vortag. War leider ein Reinfall. Da die Toiletten, kurz nach Öffnung, dreckig waren kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Sehr nette Bedienung und super leckeres Essen, waren in unseren Urlaub zweimal da. Wenn man vorbestellt bekommt man einen Tisch auf der tollen Terrasse mit Blick über Berchtesgaden.

Habe leider sehr lange auf das wunderbare vegetarische Essen warten müssen. Das Warten hat sich aber bei dieser fantastischen Aussicht, dem sehr freundlichen Service dennoch gelohnt.

Service war sehr freundlich,wenn wir auch ca 30 Minuten gewartet haben,ehe wir dann mal die Speisekarte bekommen haben. Hauptgang war mega lecker,nur das Knoblauch Brot war verbrannt und schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach Knoblauch. Trotzdem ist das Essen sehe lecker und nur zu empfehlen.

Hatten Gyros mit Metaxasauce. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt,und war schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Wir hatten Bifteki mit Tomatenreis und den Athen-Teller. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Tsatziki außergewöhnlich lecker! Das Essen war in angenehmer Zeit serviert. Die Pita mit Knoblauch ist fluffig und empfehlenswert.

Uns gefiel dieser Ort, wir waren ein paar Mal hier, auch am Feiertagswochenende, und wir waren bis heute Abend zufrieden. Heute gingen wir zum Abendessen, aber bei der Ankunft war das Personal nicht sehr nett, nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit erhielten wir ein Menü und bestellten ein Getränk, aber bis dahin konnten wir an einem schmutzigen Tisch sitzen und es sah aus, als ob Luft und Kommunikation fehlten vermieden. Dann wurde uns gesagt, dass wir auf das Essen warten müssten, weil viele Leute da wären, aber diejenigen, die nach uns kamen, wurden bedient, was wir nicht verstanden haben, als wir eine Stunde auf ein Gyrosgericht warteten, das bis zur Ungenießbarkeit gesalzen war. Ich sagte dem Kellner, dass es leider ungenießbar sei, er teilte mir mit, dass das Fleisch nicht immer das gleiche sei..., dann fragte ich nach der Rechnung und bezahlte dieses „wunderbare“ Abendessen und wir gingen enttäuscht. Leider werden wir nicht noch einmal hingehen, da das Verhalten des Personals nicht angemessen war, das Essen so war, als wäre das Salz gezielt darin eingelegt worden... wir leben hier in der Gegend und bedauern daher diese schlechte Erfahrung. wir konnten weder weinen noch lachen😂😂😂 Ich arbeite seit Jahren im Gastgewerbe, aber was hier heute zu sehen war, war absolut keine gastorientierte Einstellung! Wir schreiben einen Kommentar, weil wir hoffen, dass es niemand anderem passiert!

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Kleine, nachträgliche Wünsche wurden sofort erledigt. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, das Fleisch saftig und der Salat wunderbar abgeschmeckt. Leider war das Auge größer als der Magen. Restessen einpacken? Überhaupt kein Problem. Mein Mann und ich waren begeistert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall dort wieder einkehren.

Im "Akropolis" hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick über ganz Berchtesgaden, an der Fensterfront blickt man auf den Bahnhof hinab, bei gutem Wetter hat man zudem direkten Blick auf das Wahrzeichen der Region - den Watzmann. Das Lokal ist sauber und attraktiv eingerichtet (nicht zu viel Kitsch), das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Essen wird in angemessener Zeit serviert, ist sehr schmackhaft und steht in einem ebenfalls angemessenen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Vegetarische Optionen vorhanden. Die Desserts sind (leider) etwas überproportioniert, preislich zwar ein Schnäppchen - aber lieber zu zweit teilen. Für eine Person ist eine Portion eigentlich zu groß. Toiletten sehr sauber und gepflegt. Warum keine 5 Sterne? Hmmm, das letzte gewisse "Etwas" hat gefehlt. Nichtsdestotrotz werden wir wieder gerne im "Akropolis" einkehren. Reservierungen empfohlen!

Wenn man einen netten, entspannten Abend geniesse möchte, dann ist man hier leider falsch. Sehr unfreundlich, man hat das Gefühl, es ist eine Strafe für die Kellner und Bedienung, dass sie hier arbeiten. Eine einzige, junge Bedienung war freundlich, alle anderen kann man vergessen. Schlimm, wenn solche Menschen in einem Dienstleistungsjob arbeiten. Schade ums Geld

Schöne Lage, tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse, etwas abseits vom Zentrum Berchtesgadens. Bedienung sehr freundlich, vor allem zu Kindern. Lammkoteletts und Gyros frisch und tolle Qualität. Preise absolut angemessen. Besonders nett: Wegen der Hitze lehnten wir den obligaten Ouzo "aufs Haus" nach dem Essen ab. Daraufhin wurde uns ein leckerer Fruchtdrink ohne Alkohol spendiert.
